5301  Other / Meta / Re: A reply of yours, quoted below, was deleted by a Bitcoin Forum moderator. on: February 13, 2020, 08:50:56 PM
As I remember, mod of Mining board is very strictly and delete lot of decent posts there. I don't see any reasons why your posts were deleted. But in other boards, good posts aren't usually get deleted without any reason.
But I agree with your points. Especially about giving link to topic where your post was deleted. Sometimes It's difficult to understand reason why post was deleted without seing whole context.
But I don't agree that name of moderator who deleted post should be displayed. It should stay anonymous. Even now we have complaints from some users that mod is biased against them. Displaying name would bring not needed drama here.
And showing reason why post was deleted would be usedul probably, but it would add extra work for mods.
5302  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Discussion & Betting] Eurovision Song Contest 2020 on: February 13, 2020, 08:32:22 PM
@Saint-loup, @Stalker22, I'm not saying that Eurovision isn't popular, but these 150-200 million people watching it mainly comes from Europe. While Olympic games or World Cup is watched by billions. And as you can see, Eurovision is far from being in the list of most watched TV programs https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_most-watched_television_broadcasts#List
Yeah, Eurovision is shown outside Europe, but it's not on main TV channels with biggest ratings, maybe except Australia.
And I used USA just as example, there could be another country like Brazil, Nigeria or whatever you want. Until 2019 it wasn't shown there on big TV network, until Netflix bought it. And here is one of articles where it's explained why Eurovision isn't a thing in USA:
https://www.google.com/amp/s/qz.com/86543/five-reasons-why-americans-will-never-understand-the-point-of-eurovision/amp/
And yeah, Madonna was there, but obviously not because Eurovision is popular in States. She just got lot of money for performance, same like on her World Tours and that's all.
5303  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Google Searches of Bitcoin on: February 12, 2020, 09:14:23 PM
Price of bitcoin and google trend for bitcoin has correlation. It's common though; whenever BTC goes up, more media, more news and more people knows about this. As a result, people do much search on google about BTC. Moreover, when price goes up, people used to have more information on it (My experience  Cheesy ) As you can see the trend was at ATH when BTC price was ATH as well at December 2017.

It's normal and fully understandable thing. It would be strange if there wouldn't be any correlation between these things. It's same like number of active users or new signups (can't remember which one thing exactly) on Bitcointalk also directly correlste with Bitcoin price. Or number of Google search of Christmas songs goes up in December Cheesy.
5304  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: European hockey leagues on: February 12, 2020, 08:44:37 PM
I just follow KHL a little, but I can't say that I have good knowledge about this league. I watch it's game rarelly, mainly where there isn't any good football matches on that day. But I'm planning to give more attention to this competition when playoffs will begin.
And personally, I prefer national teams hockey in IIHF World Championship, though best NHL players don't plsy there.
5305  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Discussion & Betting] Eurovision Song Contest 2020 on: February 12, 2020, 08:29:47 PM
LOL WTF where are you living man?  Cheesy
It's one of the biggest TV event in the world with the FIFA World Cup and the Olympic Games...
Eurovision is definitely popular event, but it's mainly popular just in Europe, it's not global thing like World Cup or Olympic games. Ask someone in US about Eurovision and he will have no idea what you're talking about.
5306  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: February 12, 2020, 07:33:56 PM
So now that Dembele (FC Barcelona) was confirmed to miss the rest of the season (out for 6 months), the spanish club can finally sign a replacement even though the transfer window is closed. But, they can only sign a player only from La Liga or a free agent. There's a lot of rumours going around, here are some of the main candidates:

Willian Jose (Real Sociedad), Angel, (Getafe), Loren Moron (Real Betis). Any Barca fans here? Who would you like to have on your team?
I have posted same thing yesterday - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1877785.msg53820050#msg53820050. Speaking about these names mentioned doesn't sounds solid. Lucas Perez had some solid seasons in mediacore La Liga teams, but didn't show anything impressive on higher level. So, I would pick between Angel and Loren. But I doubt that these players can help Barca much.

No response from support but it looks like my account has been restored!
It's good to hear these news. Now I can only can give you advice to be more careful and and don't claim from Coinpot faucets together with your wife from same IP address.

It seems like it would be worse if we were claiming on different networks so as to get double rewards, but from now on only one of us will claim from home.
Actually, claiming from two different newtorks and different accounts wouldn't be abuse of their rules. and they wouldn't be able to detect it. Though, their rules don;t allow to have more than one account:
Quote
You can only have one account. Any attempt to create more than one account will lead to the termination of all of them.

After surgery, it was confirmed that Dembele will miss remaining part of season and Euro 2020. So, now Barca is allowed to sign player playing in the same country. Names of Willian Jose (Sociedad), Lucas Perez (Alaves), Loren (Betis) and Luis Suarez... from Zaragoza are mentioned. But I can't understand why Barca need to use this exception in the rules when they had whole January to react and sign player.
Am I the only one who think Ronaldo would never want to play next to Messi? He has such a huge ego that he wouldn't allow his biggest rival take the spotlight away from him... Same goes with Messi, tho.

Probably but you know they can do the thing, it will such a huge mediatic case and they will talk about it for generations.

The time where the 2 probably best players ever were on the same team.
I don't think it's possible. Too much ego, ambitions and just one ball could lead to disaster. And Messi and Ronaldo aren't two good friends who would like to play together.
5309  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2019/20 on: February 11, 2020, 09:07:36 PM
Hey, don't forget that the Copa del Rey semi finals start tomorrow: Athletic Bilbao vs Granada.

As many people have already people said: this is by far the best Copa del Rey ever. This is gonna be such a good game, people are going crazy buying tickets to watch it, tv rights for the semis were sold in seconds..seriously, like everyone on social media said last week: best league cup ever! And Real Sociedad vs Mirandes on Thursday? It's gonna be epic! I literally cannot wait to watch both games.

/s i'm joking, literally no one cares about this cup anymore LOL
I almost thought it's not sarcasm Cheesy. But actually federation achieved what they wanted by changing tournament format to single game played. But probably all these results were too extreme for them.

I don't know if this has already been discussed, but what a season Courtois is having at Madrid.
Thibaut Courtois was named the player of the month of january in laliga. He has had one of the best recoveries this season after the very slow start to his first season at Spain, gradually picking up form this season and has conceded the fewest number of goals in laliga this season.
Source: https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.managingmadrid.com/platform/amp/2020/2/10/21131590/courtois-award-player-of-the-month-2020-la-liga
First seasons in Real was really bad for Courtois, he was making too much mistakes and many fans were angry that he was preferred over. But this season is great for him and he is going towards winning Zamora trophy as best goalkeeper. This trophy wasn't won by Real player for very long time.

Cool. I want to build a Stellar Lumens faucet and this has helped me narrow it down to:

Hire my own dev, or maybe see what I can do with that Quantum script.
Yeah, if you want to build faucet for currency which isn't supported by microwallets, there isn't many options for you. Most likely that you will need custom made script.
5312  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Exchange Service Withdrawl Fees on: February 10, 2020, 08:45:45 PM
Ok, it might be useful information. But why did you choose to list these 3 coins? Ok, I understand Ethereum, but why Ripple and Stellar? And since this thread is in Bitcoin section, why you didn't listed Bitcoin withdrawal fees?
And speaking about fees, it HitBTC have such big XLM withdrawal fee, when on most other exchanges have almost free.
5313  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Does Rooted Mobile Devices Good or Bad? on: February 10, 2020, 08:26:39 PM
Very interesting discussion. In past I wanted to root my phone, mainly because it had very little memory available, it was occupied by pre-installed apps that I didn't used, so I wanted to remove it. But I didn't tried it because I had little knowledge and was afraid to brick my phone.
But now I don't see many reasons to root my phone. I use stock Android (Android One series) which comes without pre-installed bloatware. And another reason - I don't want to lose warranty.
5314  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Warning for all Android users! on: February 10, 2020, 08:15:39 PM
Thanks for warning, it's really concerning thing. Unfortunately I will get this update just in the end of February, because usually I get updates just in the end of ongoing month.
To avoid potential abuse from these vulnerabilities, as always, do not download applications from unconfirmed sources, and do not click the suspicious links you receive by email and social networks. Google Play should be safe, but not every application can be checked - so approach every download with great caution.
Good suggestion, but unfortunately Google Play is very far from being safe. It's full of dangerous apps. Main problem that everyone can upload app to it and it's uploaded without manual check. They just have to pay little dev fee. I'm not big fan of Apple, but their App Store is much better in terms of security.
5315  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Discussion & Betting] Eurovision Song Contest 2020 on: February 10, 2020, 06:28:14 PM
I haven't watched Eurovision in last few years, because I was disappointed about winners in recent years. I still didn't decided will I watch it this year. Most of countries still didn't announced their participants, so it's early to talk about favorites. It's interesting which crypto sportsbooks will give Eurovision lines. Cloudbet had it last year, can't remember about other websites.

I think this kind of contest would be a bit biased since people like English-language songs more.
I don't think that English language is big factor nowadays. If you look at recent winners, you'll see that quite many was non-English songs.
But it's biased contest with lot of politics inside. Many just vote for their neighbour countries and friebds, not for the song.
5316  Economy / Services / Re: [Service] Em00n01 Bounty Campaign Management Services on: February 09, 2020, 10:20:46 PM
Maybe I'm not marketing expert, but IMO you need to improve design of your portfolio. Now it doesn't looks very professional. Maybe you need to hire someone who have better Photoshop skills. Also, I think that you need to use more formal font in description of your services. Better appearance of your services may help to attract more customers. Good luck!
5317  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2019/20 on: February 09, 2020, 10:15:31 PM
Very difficult and very important win. Finally Barca showed that they have cojones and managed to win despite that they were trailing 2 times. First half was shitty, but in second Barca played like they supposed to play. Maybe Messi didn't scored today, but he maid 3 great assist tonight.

Some fun news - Salah and Henderson children have born yesterday. I think I don't have to remind what happened exactly 9 months ago Smiley. Coincidence? I don't think so.

5319  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: What wallet should I use for Bitcoin? on: February 09, 2020, 06:59:51 PM
I would like to go to coinbase since most of my friends that is also doing crypto is using it. It also offers a double authentication every time you log on that will increase the security of your cryptocurrency. They are using it for a long time so I have decided to use it also since it is proven and tested by them.

The most secured wallet for me is Coinbase because i have used it for years and i don't encounter any system errors such as hacking, slow transaction, security problems and etc. So i think if you are looking for a secured wallet i suggest you should really used Coinbase wallet.
It's bad suggestion. Coinbase isn't a wallet at all. Coinbase is just centralized exchange, which requires KYC and where you don't have control of your crypto - they don't give you access to your private keys. And fact that you didn't had any issues so far doesn't mean anything. What if they just will kock your account with all funds tomorrow just because you got some crypto from gambling website? Exchanges is worst place to keep your crypto, and it applies to all exchanges, not just Coinbase.
5320  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: What wallet should I use for Bitcoin? on: February 09, 2020, 12:06:11 AM
Why is nobody mentioning the bitcoin core wallet itself? I know you should have enough bandwidth and huge storage but if you can afford that, why not give it a try? For me, it is one of safest and when you want to transfer your coins to exchanges or other wallets, you will incur a very small fee, depending on your priorities.
Bitcoin Core definitely is a great choice, but OP is looking for Android wallet.
