Bitcoin is a very good thing to have as an asset. Just like gold. Even better if I may say. It's secure, and unlike fiat money it actually exists and work is put into it to produce it. This makes it great to store value.
However, it cannot and will not replace current fiat money that the entire world it using. It just cannot.
Take paying a cup of coffee for example. To pay your coffee with bitcoins, one must get bitcoins first, either by mining or buying bitcoins with other kinds of money (*cough*fiat*cough). It ends up being a quite complicated process, don't you think?
Until we reach the point where paying for a cup of coffee is as easy with Bitcoin as it is with cash, we will never get mass adoption. And as far as I see it, there is no way of simplifying the acquiring of bitcoins.
Really, bitcoin cannot replace fiat simply because it has been there for a very long time. You cannot replace something that is socially acceptable for like forever. Bitcoin cannot also replace gold because gold gives value to fiat. So that is the awesome tandem. Bitcoin is a digital currency but not a real currency which are legal, it's a substitute for money and it will only work with fiat. That lone would convince me that it will not replace fiat, bitcoin is too volatile and the risk of losing your money is possible, I don't think a lot of people will use it. |

The price is pretty nice even without licence for a casino token. It is 1.7 usd at the moment and i think it is ath now. I dont remember it was higher than this.

I think I'm going to give up on investing in casino bankroll It always turn negative  Currently around 0.02 BTC negative, same a couple of weeks ago (different casinos profitable, different casinos unprofitable).. I've started aftering following btcmillionaire and after I've seen his 1%/week average, I hoped for a 3%/month profit But hell no. Seems like I'm losing each and every fucking time  Except for Crypto-Games, they haven't been negative on me yet. Investing in casino is I think a long term activity, we have to understand that casino always win in the long run so we should not count the results early. If I remember it right, we have a thread here where OP experiment investing in casino and in overall he is profitable, that is because he diversified his investment. |

I prefer trading, because by trading I'm not tired to wait, as we know that investing takes patience to wait so long to get big profit, whereas with trading we can profit hundreds or even thousands of percent in a short time.
Trading is more risky but you can have an active income if you are good in trading, also you can fast track your goal if you want to be rich in trading because it's possible. For me trading can be considered as a gambling because of the risks that trading has. Your taking risks from your money. You are hoping and you know that your money will gave you back something. But still they have their difference. Trading is about exchanging and you just wait for your item or prize, in gambling you hope for your money comeback.
It still depends on the situation, in gambling, luck is one of the most important factors affecting one's game, but in trading you usually used your cognitive skills (analyzing, speculating, predicting, etc.) thus increasing your chances to earn. That is the one thing that you cannot control knowing that luck can change all the time. You might get always winning that one time but the other time it would get you to lose that's just the way it is. In trading you could really apply luck also knowing that you could be lucky the first time that you're invested in that coin and the other time making it lower in value. I compare it that we have control only one thing and that is our capital, in trading we know who to use our capital and earn profit, but in gambling we don't know it just do it and play game, our game decided that we could win or not. However in gambling lose is more than trading. Otherwise all things is happening like both gambling and trading depend on luck. Trading does gives us a chance to learn in the long run while in gambling it's quite the opposite because the longer we play the more our chances gets lowered, so let's choose wisely on what way we will start our journey, I am not saying that we all lose in gambling but most of us surely does have the experience which we lose most of the time. |

I agree with you. Bitcoin cannot replace fiat money. Yes, bitcoin has a value, a large value and it's popular but it cannot use as local money. Our economy needs the fiat money for the circulation of the money which determines the state of our economy.
