5341  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Scrypt.CC | Scrypt Cloud Mining on: February 14, 2015, 11:51:02 AM
Hello,
Around 9 months ago I was diagnosed with a serious health issue and my life changed in a blink of an eye, Within a couple of days I was hospitalized and there I stayed for the next 5 months.
The people that were left in charge did not do their role therefore the support part of the site was almost null. But in no time was the site abandoned, there was always people behind it.
Thankfully I've been out of the hospital and doing great, I did not make my "comeback" sooner as I have been very busy travelling to other countries and buying hardware directly from the manafactures and overhauling our whole mining infra-structure.
Hope this answers some of your questions,
Take care.

Sad to hear it! Can you show me some bills of the miners you bought and your travelling(if possible) - cut the name before posting?

"You need to wait for previous transactions to get at least 1 confirmations"

Why is this limitation if i want to start another transaction/sending ?

If you send/receive a transaction and somehow, it was dropped from the Blockchain. Then, the transaction you send will be like invalid because the TX hash of your input(s) will be invalid as the TX isn't existing in Blockchain. I hope you understand. Smiley

P.S. AFAIK all wallets have this restriction/limitation.

5343  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Send Bitcoin With Private Key on: February 14, 2015, 11:41:58 AM
i think its possible to sweep private keys with certain wallets. i dont know if thats what ur wanting to do though, but its an option.

Both sweeping and sending manually are almost same.

5345  Other / Meta / Re: Mycelium getting its own sub-forum any time soon? on: February 14, 2015, 11:28:02 AM
I think that these sub-sections are available only for wallets that has both client / server sides open source.

Oh, then Blockchain.info may not be added as it won't meet one condition(client side). Even if it isn't, according to the number of posts made, it is needed than other wallets IMHO.

I didn't understand your answer I guess , or you didn't got my question
I want to make a faucet on my website , but FaucetBox makes people who use my faucet to signup on their website , what I want to do on my faucet is make people able to withraw their money directly to BTC Adresses instead of FaucetBox account first then BTC addy

You didn't ask your question correctly. So you are a publisher(faucet owner). See below.

Then, you shouldn't use FaucetBox or any other micro-payment processor(such as Paytoshi, microwallet etc...). You should use Blockchain.info/Blocktrail.com API or install Bitcoin-core and connect your faucet to Bitcoind.

Could We make a sticky post to avoid lazy newbies spam the same question for ages?

Lazy newbies do not ready stickies either.

Yes, they don't! They need to have a forced 30 seconds class on their first few login.

Ill "delete" your account though. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=953262.0

@OP : I will pay for you! Wink

5349  Other / Meta / Re: Reporting posts on: February 14, 2015, 10:45:47 AM
Let's say you have 100% on your reports , then you report another one it stays 100% , couple of hours later it becomes 99%

I haven't looked at your reports, but based on what you've said, it stayed 100% because it hadn't been marked as a bad report yet, sometimes in the next couple hours it was. Number of reports updates immmediately, accuracy doesn't update until the report is handled.

I don't know if anyone has suggested already(sorry if yes). It would be helpful if we can see a detailed stats of our reports(one by one) or atleast a summary-like:

Quote
Number of reported post : 123
Number of good reports  : 111
Number of bad reports   :  12
Accuracy of reports     : 96%

Currently, 6 of the top 14 threads in "Alternative clients" concern Mycelium.

IMHO it's not a big thing as Blockchain.info has much higher number of topics than this. If a new sub-forum for a wallet is to be added, that would be blockchain.info/wallet.

This would be very useful! Thanks for suggesting here! Smiley

Would be useful but hopefully there will be some sort of mobile site with the new forum.

Where did you hear it from? Smiley Eagerly waiting for the new forum software!

Yeah, that wap version might have been ok 10 years ago but it's not up to standard with current mobile versions of forums. I think the new one should do a bit better than that.

+1.

5353  Other / New forum software / Re: Ditch signatures altogether on: February 14, 2015, 10:09:13 AM
People can already turn off signatures but he's making an argument that they lower the quality of discussion, which you can't really turn off unless you start blocking people.

Also, you can turn off ads and avatars which is nice. Signatures provide the site with a lot of adspace banner views which I think theymos wants to keep (as would be expected), even if there is spam.

The advertisement theymos sells are not placed in signatures. Are they? If signatures were removed those ads he auctions off every month would be more valuable IMO.

No, they aren't. You are probably right but signatures are valuable and in almost all forum, it is available. Signatures are good to publicize our business or to spread any messages. I think, like hilariousandco said, all signature campaigns should be banned rather than ditching signature.

5354  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [ANN] FaucetBOX.com - free API & faucet script, create your own crypto faucet on: February 14, 2015, 10:02:05 AM
It's pretty nice , but the only problem is that people should have to make an account on FaucetBox.com instead of of receiving the Bitcoins directly and that sucks to be honest , any way to change that ?

Faucetbox is a micro payment processor mainly built for faucets. You will have to tell the faucet you are using not to use any payment processor and to pay directly and you don't have to create an account for earning coin, its only for publishers, for earning an account-like will be created with your address as username.

If this isn't what you asked, clarify your question. Smiley

5355  Economy / Services / Re: [BIT-X.com] [NEW RATES] Earn Bitcoins by Posting | Signature Campaign on: February 14, 2015, 09:13:31 AM
My brother was from the top ten posters and he is not greyed , Highest posters have a green cell at the end (look the Second month document Document)
That's at random depending on whether I copy and paste usernames from bitcointalk or type them in.

Thanks both! I understood. And, highest posters are all those who make more than 300 posts or highest X no. of posters?

Edit:

Marcotheminer can I join the signature campaign ?

Users with negative trust may not join this signature campaign sorry.

What about people who got -ve trust for least thing(no particular reason)? Eg: BiPolarBob's negative trust.

5357  Other / Meta / Re: Newbie Jail Needed at the earliest on: February 13, 2015, 04:12:00 PM
I don't think that newbie jail is a good idea. As you all know newbies accounts have some restrictions to begin with. They need to wait 5 minutes (?) after posting a post to write another one.

That's enough for them and because of it, some persons go away!

One thing I would like to to see is deletion of all non used newbie accounts from forum database.

Wouldn't that delete their posts too? Or will the name of the poster change to 'Account deleted' or 'Guest'? I don't support deleting user's post as newbies also make useful posts.

I don't agree with this as many people join here for some particular reason such as to provide their service and to ask a technical doubt.
