5341  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Jessie Vargas vs Mikey Garcia on: February 16, 2020, 01:01:45 PM
I was really surprised that there's no hype surrounding this fight, anyway, it was reported that Vargas and Garcia will be fighting for the WBC 'Diamond' Belt.

It's because the boxing world is awaiting for the Fury vs Wilder rematch. That's why there's no media attention on this fight. Besides, with Garcia coming off from a lost to Errol Spence and then Jessie Vargas somewhat lost in the 147 lbs division, it's really hard to promote this fight.

So for me, this two are just B-side boxers to the growing list of top welterweights around.

Yes, it was just a bad schedule, I guess. And it seems there's no animosity or drama between the two that's why boxing fans are not into it. We all know that most of the times we wanted to see fight that has some controversy between the two.

And we haven't heard anything leading up to the promotions of the fights. Although we can argue that the supporting bouts has some good fighters in it, not enough to generate buzz, in my opinion.
5342  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BLAME THE INVESTOR FOR LOOSING NOT THE CRYPTO ECOSYSTEM on: February 16, 2020, 11:45:08 AM
Well there are really investors here who don't DYOR, they just listen to social media influencers and they've been suckered by this bad actors and then blame the ecosystem for it. And I do hope that they will learn their lessons once they got scammed by ICO's.

And the thing is that we didn't stop from preaching this, but still people are falling for this trick because they are either too lazy or doesn't equipped themselves with enough knowledge. And then you will hear them bitch around this community, LMAO.
5343  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: February 16, 2020, 11:24:56 AM
Anybody thinks Aaron Gordon got robbed this year's NBA slamdunk contest? Lol  Cheesy
I mean, he been doing 50's from the beginning (the sideline 360 was really amazing) and then on the final round he got 47 for jumping over the tallest person in the gym. Damn, that's crazy! A 47 maybe because his thighs touched Taco's shoulders?
Congrats to Derrick Jones Jr anyway he's also a good dunker throughout the competition.

I agree mate, I think he got robbed (again?). I thought he got it when he jump over Tacko. No offense against Derrick Jones Jr, but I think Gordon should have won the NBA Slamdunk this year.

It's a bit controversial, in my opinion,

“It’s a wrap, bro,” Gordon, an Orlando Magic forward, said of his Dunk Contest career. “I feel like I should have two trophies. It’s over for that.”

5344  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Uptrend Broken on: February 16, 2020, 10:50:37 AM
Bitcoin bulls were surprised to wake up to a massive early-morning drop that sent the cryptocurrency reeling down to lows of $9,700, which is where BTC was able to find some support that helped it climb higher.

It is important to note that this bearish price action may have invalidated the crypto’s midterm uptrend, due to it breaking below a key ascending trendline that had been formed over the past few weeks.

The break below this level could lead BTC to see a notable near-term decline, with analysts widely targeting a pullback towards the lower-$9,000 region.

It's frustrated to wake up and see the price < $10k again. But then again, we can't really expect a parabolic rise, sooner or later we will see some corrections along the way.

The break below $10,000 came about in an incredibly sharp movement that happened over the span of five minutes, signaling that bears have now garnered some significant near-term strength.

Again, I won't consider this this that the bears have gain some strength, it just people selling, that its

Big Cheds, a popular crypto analyst, said in a recent tweet that he believes Bitcoin will continue dropping until it reached $9,600, which is where he anticipates it will find enough buying pressure to bounce.

You don't need to be a rocket scientist to see that an imminent drop is on the horizon.
5345  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will 2020 be ETH's biggest year yet? on: February 15, 2020, 11:12:54 AM
Biggest year yet is a real stretch, I can't see 2020 eclipsing 2017. Having said that, PoS is the future, and we should see 2.0 this year. I can see ETH rising considerably against both BTC and USD... just probably not the same percentage increases we saw at the height of ICO fever.

Smart contracts will only get bigger, and ETH is by far the best smart contract platform. Don't bet against it.

Of course, for now we can't really compare 2017 and 2020. There's still a lot to be done in 2020 to be even compare to the last great bull run we have. With that said, we will see how it goes, maybe investors become smarter now and just picking their spot on what ICO they are going to pour their hard earn money.

So 4 digit price is within our reach, beginning this year, ETH is having a good recovery. And it is goes strong against BTC and USD, then we can see it getting higher and could get to 4 digit once again.
5346  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are your recommended ways of gambling. on: February 15, 2020, 10:40:11 AM
You should gamble money that you can afford to lose. And you should learn when to exit if you are winning. Or if you think that you are unlucky that day, then stop, then force yourself otherwise you might end up losing more.

Of course there are lots of strategies around specially martingale, if you don't know how to use it then don't. You better off playing with your end strategy of winning, just saying.
5347  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin Bleeding on: February 15, 2020, 08:09:10 AM
I think the position of the top 30 can still be replaced by a new project that is better, it seems better to choose altcoin top 10 which is really the ranking position rarely changes in my opinion.

Over some years now, we have seen many altcoins at the top level on coinmarketcap which dropped down and new ones take the lead. In my opinion, we should always choose from the top list if we are to avoid bleeding of altcoins most at times, my favourite altcoins to invest into are always been chosen from the very top and I have enjoyed invest with them without a second thought of negativity.

Top 10? maybe hard to be replaced, we might just see some coins just bouncing around and maintaining their positions.

But there could be lots of movements in the top 11-30, as this is the coin that might be used for pump-and-dump scheme when we officially enter a bull run. And for the record, altcoin market is slowly recovering from the bleeding this year, it might take some time to really fully see a good bounce, but we are heading on the right direction already.
5348  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you use a trading Bot? on: February 15, 2020, 07:36:23 AM
No, I haven't used trading bot, it's not that I don't want to, but I still prefer the old and traditional way.

Besides, I understand that if order for someone to really take advantage of a bit, you should be at least an intermediate in trading. Because there are a lot of settings and parameters in a bot, if you are newbie you might get confused. And instead of making money, you will loss it because of bad settings, just saying.

But I'm sure there are plenty of us here who uses bot, and there are different bots around so it will be hard to let us know what strategy they are using.
5349  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Casimero Bantamweight Unification Fight on: February 14, 2020, 04:39:51 AM
Thank you for adding the poll, it's 2-0 so far in favor of casimero. Where are the Inoue fans here, please cast your votes now so we will know how many are you. lol.

I'm pretty sure there are Inoue fans here, but maybe they don't want to cast their vote as early as today.

And there could be Filipinos who wanted to vote for Inoue, but then again he will be fighting against their compatriot so we might see them going by their "hearts" and will be voting for Johnriel here.  Grin
5350  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Random coin picks experiment on: February 14, 2020, 03:09:40 AM
I still vividly remember 2017.

Like every week there are coins that its being pump, and it was like clock-work. But then again, we've already matured so I don't think if this strategy will work. Back then, I've seen coins in the top 10-20 like being pumped every week or so.

You can test it yourself, pick around that ball park top 10-50 and then see how your "experiment" goes.
5351  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Warning] Fake Chipmixer website on: February 14, 2020, 01:40:04 AM
Thanks, reported it already. I do hope that the service provider will react swift on this.

We have seen so many of this kind of typo squatting before, but since bitcoin is making a run and touching five digits, there might be couple of here we might get phished and fall for this trick. Those people behind are really smart using Chipmixer as it is one of the well-known tumbling services around this community for many years now.
5352  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITCOIN HALVING 2020 on: February 14, 2020, 01:11:18 AM
Well if we are going to look at the past halvings, obviously it has a positive effect on the price.

But we need to wait though, everyone should not be excited this early. It might days more days or years for the halving to have an impact on the price, so it is better to discuss it right after the halving itself. We don't want people to expect as they might get disappointed later, just saying.
5353  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the most speculative altcoin that might be gain high ROI in case of all on: February 11, 2020, 11:14:21 PM
Obviously we have seen BSV getting a massive month beginning end of 2019, because of CSW.

However, just like most of the altcoin which is being used for pump-and-dump scheme, sooner or later it will go down hard.

@DarkDays - thanks for listing Suterusu, never heard of it, but it looks very promising as you describe, specially it is a privacy coin.
5354  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Another wallet key lost. on: February 11, 2020, 10:34:19 AM
Yesterday someone I knew uninstalled his wallet from his android phone mistakenly and he told me to help him recover his wallet but guess what? he did not write out the wallet recovery phrase, the wallet consist of 640$ worth of bitcoin, he was broken, felt pity for him, how can someone not take recovery seed serious? that's what came out of my mouth, Really I felt pity for him because he went through a lot to gather that bitcoin, people need to start taking wallet keys or phrases very serious, newbies should please understand that without these keys you lose your money, time and energy

If your friend uninstalled it, I doubt that he can recover his money, so sorry for his lost.

I guess we have the same question, that's a lot of money how come he didn't take care of it? Of course, that is the first thing to do if you wanted to involved yourself in crypto, learn and understand how to protect your assets, like your passwords, seeds, recovery phrases.

It is an expensive lessons to learn, and I do hope that next time, he will take care of everything.
5355  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Please need advice about this project on: February 11, 2020, 09:43:01 AM
By checking the whois lookup for this website you mentioned, I can see that the domain is registered in 2008 which is even before bitcoins existed. This according to my angle of view seems like the domain is been purchased from a third party which might be the signs and symptoms of scam exchange.

Probably it has changed hands dozens times already.

The the OP, it seems that no one from this community has yet to used that platform so just be cautious. We all know that everything in crypto seems to be (psuedo)  anonymous and it's just a matter of time that someone will pull out an exit scam here.

My conclusion is that I wouldn't try that platform, just saying.
5356  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: February 11, 2020, 08:21:55 AM
Another win by the Jazz, once again Clarkson was still their best contributor on the offense side, he tallied 25 points playing 30 minutes... that was really efficient isn't it? After experiencing a long losing streak, they are bound for a new win streak now, and with this Clarkson is no doubt a great contender on the 6th man of the year.

Clarkson really found a home in Jazz, although it is still Donovan Mitchell's team, but you can see that the management is really giving him time in the court again. So he feels comfortable, and as you can see in the Rockets win, we can see the old Jordan Clarkson, just like when he was still in the Lakers uniform.

Let's see if Jazz can continue their winning streak. They almost blew their lead, however, it was really a test on them and they passed with flying colours.
5357  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Casimero Bantamweight Unification Fight on: February 11, 2020, 07:56:32 AM
Damn, looks like Casimero is really in shape for this fight. He is always in shape on every fight, but this sure is very different because there is so much at stake. And with Manny Pacquiao behind him, I'm sure he is going to put everything on line and don't want to disappoint his boss.

I do hope that he can upset the Monster here and bring back the crown to the Filipinos once again.

His physique doesn't look any different from previous fights IMO.

He's still the smaller fighter, lower reach, less experienced and older. It's over for him, even with Pacquiao in his corner.

I'm going to place a bet for a round 8-12 KO by Inoue.

Lmao, how can you say that his physique is the same when you even don't know how experienced Casimero is? I'm saying that he is in shape because the fight is many months from now and yet he maintained his shape and ready anytime to fight.

Of course, he is the smaller guy here, the more compact your physique are, the harder you can punch specially if you hit the target right in the chin. And that target will simply go down just like what he did to his previous fight.
5358  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Dominance Going Down? on: February 11, 2020, 02:49:20 AM
Alts are still way behind, so this small drops is nothing to be worry about.

https://athcoinindex.com/

Maybe the altcoin market have some gains, but still they are a far cry from their all-time-high. And I don't think that it will bring harm to the market is altcoin market recovers and challenge bitcoin's dominance.
5359  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will 2020 be bearish as well? on: February 10, 2020, 11:52:44 PM
BTC has been bullish since 2018, remember the lowest low? $3200 Dec 2018? So from $3200-$10k that seems to be bullish to me.

As far as altcoin goes though, we have seen some steady growth this year alone. So they might have recovered as BTC does, but I'm sure that we will see it flourish once more when we official enter altcoin bull run, perhaps in April, prior to bitcoin block halving and till after.
5360  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Casimero Bantamweight Unification Fight on: February 10, 2020, 08:40:44 PM
this is one of the biggest fight Filipino has been waiting, because Inoue is being tagged as a young Pacquiao while Casimero is a Filipino fighter that will not let foreign boxer to take the title from Manny.

while you are right that i thought it was Dasmarinas but it is fine because if Casimero did not beat inoue then he will have a chance to take it.
Actually Inoue last fight is also filipino fighter too Donaire and that match was a good match. I don't know Casimero but it seems will be a good fight. Tbh Inoue is my best 1 pound for pound ranking for me, he has a huge power, speed and aggressive. Let's see if casimero can endure that.

Without a doubt, Inoue is the huge favorite on this match because of the hype he got plus the fact that almost all of his fights end in a knockout. What i like about this fight is that Casimero is so determine to show the world that he could tame the Monster and show them all who's the real monster in the ring  Smiley.

I've been following Casimero's career since he is local boy here in our place and i never see him so determine like this. I think he want to show his boss (Manny Pacquiao) that he deserve this fight and he ready to conquer Las Vegas.
