5341  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Barr's Betting Predictions | 61% WR | +$200K LAST YEAR on: February 12, 2020, 08:14:13 AM
Hi Barr, just checking a bit. I might consider American sports next year seeing how big it is is gambling and now USA will open up sports betting even more so it could be useful to learn.

You put 61% WR and +200k profit but how do you bet? I do not see the amounts you put on all your bets. If 61% win for profit this means your bets should mainly be almost 2/1 if not more?
5342  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: February 12, 2020, 06:53:55 AM
Yes, very surprised Atalanta again are up this year,,, never really thought Italian football was so interesting but when you see 5-0 in this league from Atalanta you think maybe they are changing their patterns in Italy.

What do you think of tonight's games? Napoli are very poor but maybe they will fight for the cup?
5343  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you think ETH will hit all Time high(ATH)? on: February 11, 2020, 04:00:35 PM
ethereum price increases are really very much later, even more so at this time. I believe that the price will be very high in the future after the pump, but for a new ATH, it seems quite difficult for now. for a brief explanation, we need to look at ethereum prices worth 0.1 BTC to see the new ATH if the price of bitcoin is above $ 15000. whereas for now, ethereum prices are still worth 0.022 bitcoin, and the highest potential for this month is 0.025 to 0.028 bitcoin. however, we can see the development of ethereum prices after halving, whether it can exceed ATH or not.

VERY difficult. Right now, we are not even at 20% of the ATH price and it has really struggled for a long time,,, needing 70% gains to reach the stage today so the critical point at every new 100 dollar mark is what concerns us. Let us focus on that and forget ATH for now,,, let it come when it comes!

Guys any good tips on Asian Champions League? I see quite a lot of group games and I am sure there are a lot of Asians in this forum, are you guys picking anybody to win? Japanese teams usually win this one right? It would be nice for a Southeast team to go through and meet in the club world cup;)
5345  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Anyone still earning with bounties? on: February 11, 2020, 02:09:51 PM
Yes, since then I stop earning in bounties, and did not join even airdrop. I dont want to waste my time again that is why i did not join bounties again. I did not see any bounties as good like when 2017 , I hope that bounty hunting will back again, no more scam bounties and projects. In that way people will start earning again and trust will bring back.

I always tell people, if you find a project you love and you like to use a lot,,, and you truly want to support, then go ahead if they have a bounty, be it signature campaigns or other forms of support, do it. But support only works properly if you also know the project and use it. Otherwise you become another shiller.
5346  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | $5,000 Roo's Valentine Giveaway + Event ❤️ on: February 11, 2020, 12:44:41 PM
Nice Valentine's day promo, just too bad have to deposit in past 7 days to open prizes, but good luck to all who play.

By the way,,, on the past issues I agree that both sides made the mistake and it is clear for all to see that Roo should have made sure the game was bug free before accepting, and of course people should also be careful with betting but anyway, consumer wins in every case, this is the sacred rule of customer service:)
5347  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will 2020 be ETH's biggest year yet? on: February 11, 2020, 12:13:59 PM
That's certainly true, mate. Ethereum has lost its luster mostly because of the decay of ICOs within the mainstream world. After all, ICOs were the ones which triggered most of the demand for Ethereum across the crypto market. With heavy regulation on the Blockchain industry, most ICOs experienced a full crackdown from the government. Now the next biggest trend for Ethereum would be the implementation and adoption of STOs (Security Token Offerings) and IEOs (Initial Exchange Offerings). But even the most prominent companies in the mainstream world haven't adopted Ethereum for their own benefit yet.

Yes,,, correct. ICOs made Ethereum popular but they also were responsible for everything bad that befell ETH after the boom. But we take some lessons from Bitcoin in the early days when everyone thought it was just gambling and dark markets,,, and to be fair at some point early on it was a lot of bitcoin gambling! From adversity comes oppportunity so let us see ETH 2.0 and what it offers.
5348  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Addiction Can Seriously Diminish The Quality Of Your Life. on: February 11, 2020, 10:53:09 AM
I just wonder that OP made a such good post on dangers of gambling addictions in 2013 itself and some newbie bumping it after 4 years still OP's points are good and useful to this community.

Haha,,, yeah, some threads do deserve to be bumped every now and then. It really gives us some perspective sometimes that some lessons never change. Provably fair gambling and crypto casinos gave us freedom and transparency,,, but it does not change the fact that addiction is something we forget to discuss and talk about as adults. May we always protect each other.
5349  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BTC is bigger than the rest of the crypto market combined on: February 11, 2020, 07:41:34 AM
Of course he is right. The only people other than project founders and speculators who follow alts are just those who do not understand crypto full time enough to know that Bitcoin is all that matters in the big picture. Everything else is an even bigger experiment than Bitcoin! This is the fact we have to accept.
5350  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: February 11, 2020, 07:08:41 AM
I just realized when looking at Inter lineup just how many players they have who were last season and even this season playing for English Premier League! In fact,,, watching them might almost feel like watching EPL. Now what do you guys think of this,,, Sanchez, Lukaku and Young from Manchester United! Inter look so strong now, especially after coming down from 0-2 to win like this.

You know they need just one more win and slip from Juve to take top.

Let’s face it though Lukaku, Sanchez & Young weren’t great in the PL before they left were they? Young & Sanches especially are way past their peaks & the slower pace of Serie A will suit them.

It’d be nice to see somebody other than Juve win the title for once.

I totally agree with you here and even for me as a Spurs player,,, if Eriksen continued to play for us the way he did, we would be worse off, so I am happy he went to leave to see them all others in Inter Milan. For sure, I think they are better suited there. Zlatan going to Italy says a lot about the pace there as they would definitely not survive in EPL.

Mata also too slow now for EPL.
5351  Economy / Speculation / Re: Monday is a good time to buy BTC? Is that proved one more time? on: February 10, 2020, 03:59:26 PM
My confidence about going above 10k is not collapsed,,, unlike you;) For me, Monday is when normal traders get up and then decide they should take some profit now, hence the sell off. It was 100% to be expected with 10k. I am still very sure price will climb again as people are not thinking they could enter before 10k.
5352  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you think Ripple (XRP) will rise to moon. on: February 10, 2020, 01:03:26 PM
A piece of news said that "Ripple Co-founder Jed McCaleb sold 1.20 billion XRP since 2014,"

My question is how can a coin price raise when its founder selling the massive amount coin. 1.20 billion is a big amount, and it directly affects XRP price. Maybe it is one of the main regions XRP lost about 44% of its value in 2019.
What do you think we still hold and wait for the bull or move to others, I'm still confused?  Huh Huh

Well you just said it my friend,,, something I can never understand either about people who get into XRP. I also have some by the way,,, but I have no delusions about what XRP really is. And the guy who sold 1.2 bill XRP is laughing to the bank while telling people his coin is decentralized. IT is completely nonsense but people believe whatever they want. Forget it, let them be.
5353  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ways To Distribute & Promote a New Coin on: February 10, 2020, 11:55:28 AM
there are many things need to considered before starting your own project, first are you able to make more promotion and release money to use fro advertisement . If you cant have that seriously you will experience the same ICO and you are making a shitcoin.
Investors is always looking for good project not only that but with large community that support the project already before they invest.
For advertisement you have many choices but social media is the best way for promotion for any project.

Wrong direction. First, you develop the project. Make a product,,, grow your community,,, have many working use cases and demand and merchants etc.

THEN you do promotions and advertising and all that.

Make a product. Have a community first of all. Do not do it the other way around!
5354  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io - Main Club Partner of Watford FC ⚽ Fun. 🏀 Fast. 🎾 Fair. 🏆 on: February 10, 2020, 11:05:41 AM
OH MY GOD I did not realize Sportsbet had Oscar betting and look at the odds for Parasite 4x! Did anyone bet on this and win? I was telling everybody that it would win and I was wondering where to place bets. I saw Stake had it but I do not play there and then here we go with the winner. First foreign film to win,,, not bad.
5355  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What p2p games will you play? on: February 10, 2020, 09:51:15 AM
This is what also comes up in my mind that the best game for the gambling site that has a p2p system. Eventually, people didn't believe P2P because they dont know if your opponent is a real human or just a bot that made by the site. It might be that is the reason why BETLLER.IO stopped their campaign because only a few are like on the p2p system, unlike the usual sports betting.

Anyway, the question of OP has been discussed already here.

Well, some of the most popular sites either for bitcoin or for even other dapps is not necessarily p2p. I know a couple of dice sites that get wagers in the millions every now and then and it is completely non p2p,,, so it is definitely about what makes people gamble, not so much that it pits players against players.
5356  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: February 10, 2020, 09:19:52 AM
Thanks for the info. I guess the game might then be played within a week since this game week is stretched out. I wonder why they had to stretch all this game week's 10 games throughout the whole 2 weekends thou. This weekend was so boring on Premier League's side... Some of us had to seek refugee in Italia's Seria A  Cheesy
Someone is feeling like me, I already whined about it  Tongue
Dortmund yesterday and Inter today games were amazing. At the opposite Barca one was bad, very bad.
But lets stick in the EPL here since next weekend seems to be interesting Wink

The barely interesting game this weekend in EPL was reported due to the bad weather...
Hopefully there was some alternatives elsewhere  Undecided

5357  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tricks and tips for esports betting on: February 10, 2020, 07:44:22 AM
I just don't understand why some people can say that esports betting aren't worth it since it looks like all the games and matches are all 50/50. These words can only came to those that do not follow an esport game.

For me, there is no difference between esports betting and sports betting when it comes to chances of winning. Betting odds aren't just made in order to fail. Esports betting is a growing market.

I can understand it at the lower levels. Some random guy can beat a good team on any day,,, and when you read about the scandals of cheating like guys who purposefully lose just to get some free money,,, then you know it is not wise to bet on a team game where even 1 guy sabotaging his team can be the difference.

There is a difference and why you cannot see 100x odds all the time in esports but there is in football.

Hello OP, just curious and asking,,, in November, you said that there were still 3 to 5 clients and that was actually still quite good for these days. What about today? I mean since 1 January 2020,,, crypto rally has really been doing well for everyone,,, did it also impact your business? Are there more clients these days now?
5359  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The TRX Speculation and Info Thread aka dinner with Buffett on: February 09, 2020, 02:59:52 PM
^  Not so fast meaning it's losing a couple of spots at CMC.

Anyway why are the maxis going on a meme 'we support Tron' campaign on the Twitterz?  I don't get it.  And why is the forum so damn slow?

Forum seems perfectly fine to me,,, but I am always using a triple server connection so everything seems slow to me, which in my world means,,, normally fast;)

But Tron campaign is I think about people talking bad about Justin Sun using all kinds of campaigns to promote himself (Pornhub, Buffett, Greta Thunberg). Which to be fair, I think is good for his own name but also TRX.
5360  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: February 09, 2020, 02:26:59 PM
I believe Ighalo will be an instant hit at manchester united, and will provide the attacking spark and goal scoring threat that has been often missing in the United frontline.
I have a feeling he won't live up to the expectations at Manchester United. He's already 30. A much younger Lukaku even looked more promising before he joined United and guess what happened. I think there is a lot that needs to change at Old Trafford before the glory get back there.

Sorry guys but Ighalo is not for me going to make an impact, I agree. Benteke is to me a player a lot like him and even so he struggles to make big impact, is slow and not super creative. I do not doubt his finishing but if you do not very good suppliers around you, then do not expect to have many opportunities to convert,,,
