That's way to stupid for you to be a bot.

.....

I agree with that logic, if the out of world mining companies cut their connections with the corporations on Earth. A corporation's prospect of spending so much energy, money, but not getting rich on Earth, with zero or negative ROI?
....

Not quite. Suppose you had access to hydrogen and oxygen, and a pump system that would refill rocket fuel tanks. You are at the L5 or L4 langrange point, suspended there. (The "You" is likely an automated station not humans.). Basically that's about a quarter million miles out from Earth.

The value of your refilling tanks is easy to calculate. It's the amount of launch mass not needed. Just get the empty exploration spacecraft to the refuel station, and off it goes to Saturn or Jupiter.

That's value on Earth, clearly.

The real payoff comes when someone can mine raw materials and 3d print off world.

They do not bate everybody. Only those who are not islamic.
very ture

What? Muslims want to pick and choose who they 'bate?
5364  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do islam hates people? on: October 09, 2017, 01:56:40 PM
Because they don't have enough knowledge about Islam. The meaning of Islam is peace, and also they think  if you are Islam you are killer or terrorist already but that is wrong because Islam doesn't teach to kill people. As a muslim I don't support the barbaric act of those people because it's not written in Qur'an to kill somebody.

What would you do about known, truly evil, Muslim clerics?
5365  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Reddit’s science forum banned climate deniers. on: October 09, 2017, 02:39:17 AM
Why are we discussing this in terms of cryptocurrency.
It really has nothing to do with it you're talking about a totally different website and not this website.

Well, if the forces behind "Climate Change" had their way / won at their power games, they would definitely have a global currency, and anything such as bitcoin would be outlawed.

Nuff said?
5366  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Reddit’s science forum banned climate deniers. on: October 09, 2017, 02:35:54 AM

There is also a nearly non-existent 4th group:

  4)  the so-called 'sound money' crowd.  This would be finite-source-backed monetary solution.  Gold and crypto-currency are in this category.  Although it is very possible to 'sweep the table' by controlling gold in a gold-backed system, gaming more flexible systems makes it easier and more durable to keep the game going.

Crypto, on the other hand, is a nasty beast.  When one player accumulates all the crypto, the rest of the players just make a new one and start playing again.

A crypto based on the random mathematical output of Jupiter's cloud shapes could be the answer for another 4 billion years. Until  players create a new crypto based the Sun's light rays.

Climate change cryptos

In fact the blocks of a blockchain could be locked by anything.  It is interesting to me that Satoshi choose an energy backed POW method, and indeed it is probably the strongest of the relatively weak indications that Bitcoin was a project of bankster/CIA scum or whatever.

Again, the thing which really fascinated me about crypto early on is that, paradoxically, it's strength is that it CAN easily fail.  Failure is inevitable if it is abused in the real world.  In a capitalist system any solution will see the winners ending up with all the chips, but the chips in crypto-land can be turned into piles of shit at will by the losers.  This differentiates it from gold (where although possible, the failure mechanics are simply less practical.)

The hopeful outcome in a distributed crypto-currency environment is that the currency itself is a neutral force of nature free of manipulation.  This levels the play field to a degree.  The 'chips' in this case weigh to some other form (land, resources, intellectual property, etc.)

Yes. Nothing is forever. People used to show off how rich and powerful they were by the amount of aluminum they owned, hundreds of years ago. The same could happen with gold if Alphabet Corp can mine asteroids as they plan to do, for example. The "system" wants you to be ready all the time, or you die. Same game since the creation of everything. Everything will fail eventually.

What would happen if / when off planet mining starts is that materials mined would be valued for their local value, not for Earth value.

For example on the Moon carbon, nitrogen and hydrogen are extremely rare. If carbon was found in a deep crater near the pole, and it was mined and moved to a location with more sunlight, say the mid latitudes, it would have a very high value. Gold and silver have a value as conductors but not as precious metals.

Almost nothing in space will have a value in excess of the cost to return it to earth, so valuable stuff will not be returned to Earth. Value in space is subject to an odd limitation, kinetic energy of position and energy costs to change that, e.g. to effect orbital changes.

Value, of course, is value, where ever it is found and assessed.

.... in our country, 20 years ago, we only reach 31 degrees celcius for the temperature. Now, for Christ sake, temperature is rising upto 38 degrees celsius. So how can they say that global warming is not real?

What country is that?

We can look up the numbers and verify your claims of 31 going to 38 in 20 years.

But I don't think we will find this is true.

I feel pain when I go up a lot of stairs.

I just proved it to myself.

Advanced bots have sensors, and are programmed to feel pain through them.

 Grin

But no bots would have a cancer, Am I right. No bots will feel pleasure unlike people having sex. Robots nowadays where not that advance maybe in the future more 20 years from now on. Dont know if it will take upper that the humanity.

Kie.

Not a bot.

Noble prizes mean about as much as Oscars or Grammys. That is to say, nothing. It's usually just a bunch of people circle jerking each other.

With Melania, I doubt if he has any interest in their stupid little party.
5372  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is Global Warming Real? on: October 08, 2017, 01:46:44 PM
100 meters? That would take tens of thousands of years. That would require all of Greenland and a good part of the Antartica to melt.

I don't think that it will take that long. If the global warming continues at the current rates, then all the Arctic ice may be gone in 100 years time. The Antarctic ice sheet may last longer, because it is situated on top of landmass and there is an additional cooling effect as a result of elevation. But that will also be gone in a few hundred years.

I am not aware of any scientific findings that support this short of a timeframe.

Realistically, the Greenland ice sheets are two miles thick...

The Sun is very low on the horizon at the poles, and half the year is dark. So the energy cannot come from the sun. It can't come from the oceans, because Greenland is like a large bowl filled with ice. The energy to melt all that ice in 100 years must come from air.

High school physics allows us to calculate what amount of energy it would take to melt Greenland in 100 years, and what temperature the air would have to be for this to happen. The worst projections of increased air temperatures from "global warming," which have been falsified, involved a warming of 5-8F.  That would not have the effect on Greenland that you have asserted because of it's altitude and location.

Believe me, it's not going to happen.

On a longer timeframe, you must admit the certainty of another ice age. Some say we are already overdue for one. How can this certain danger be disregarded in favor of wild alarmist talk about entire continents melting?

Let's swap our lifes, you life around ulama. Not only islam, all religions voicing peace, voicing love. In history, our Prophet never voicing hatred, everything talked and asked you back to the right path. Do you know Firaun or Zamrud, they were'nt muslims. Do you know, how they treated their people, even they killed the newborn baby because he feared that his throne will be captured. Do you know Umar Bin Hattab?

He was a jew entered Islam, why???

Because the jewish understanding is far from truth. Diera once a jewish and he burried his daughter alive. And islam isn't like that.

Let us be rational, see the truth with your heart and not only from listening.

How do you looking at heaven and hell?

Let's sing together: "We are the world... We are the childreeeeeen... But not you joooooooo!"

I dont think islam hates people u cant judge others by comparing with others i will say islam just shows everyone the right patch which is pretty hard.

You said everyone. How do you define "everyone". Do you include humans who are not followers of islam?

interesting how the bots never get their grammar and word use right, isn't it? it's like....

new_login(random(sock_puppets));

We all know that Bitcoin transactions are not anonymous but pseudo-anonymous....

I believe Bitcoin as-is won't get adopted for everyday transactions. Nobody would want showing his buying habits to the whole world (imagine how many ads and flyers you would get).....

Incorrect.

The simple use of Bitcoin in a transaction cannot result in (A) showing his buying habits to the entire world (B) increased volume of ads and flyers

These would be the result of (A) Your personal data being leaked from a bitcoin exchange (B) your personal data being leaked by the other party in a transaction
5377  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is Global Warming Real? on: October 07, 2017, 02:42:51 PM
Yes real, when I was a little the temperature in my place was about 22 C, but now after 20 years the temperature rises to about 33c, so I think global warming is real.

A change of average seasonal or average yearly temperature for a geographical area from 22C to 33C?

No.

What planet are you on?
5378  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is Global Warming Real? on: October 07, 2017, 02:36:55 PM
For me, I think global warming is real because we can feel it already. Global warming is the sudden increase of our earth's temperature. Global warming is really happening in our world now in fact it is getting many negative effect. . If this continue, there is a possibility that the arctic region can melt so many low lying areas may disappear.

If all the polar ice melts, then the sea level can rise by as much as 100 meters, and this is a huge number. Because the majority of the human population is currently residing in areas which are less than 100 meters in height from the main sea level. And this includes most of the major urban agglomerations, such as Tokyo, Dhaka, Bangkok, and Los Angeles.

100 meters? That would take tens of thousands of years. That would require all of Greenland and a good part of the Antartica to melt.

In that time, we'll likely be in another ice age, because those are invariant being due to orbital characteristics.

Or maybe that "global warming" would mitigate the worst aspects of that coming ice age.

You think?
5379  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: PC/Android/IOS wallet with fingerprint encryption? on: October 06, 2017, 11:07:58 PM
Bad idea to begin with. Your finger print is not protected from the US government, while a password is. Same with any biometric devices, such as eyes.

Well you can use finger print as an additional security layer, just like 2FA Wink I didn't say it has to be just finger print or face lock.

Yes that's certainly true.

Something you have - something you are - something you know.
5380  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do islam hates people? on: October 06, 2017, 03:13:31 AM
They don't hate people. We all have different beliefs and perspective in life. So those muslim people who are killing people and telling that that is holy war. That is absurd. Let's stop hating each other. For the betterment of our world, let's spread love and respect each other's belief.

Well you are about as contradictory as could possibly be there aren't you?

But those muslim people who are killing people and telling them it's a holy war would kill you for saying what they do is absurd. So are you going to go tell them to stop hating?

Or are you going to lecture to the non muslims to "stop hating each other....spread love and respect each other's belief?"
Before the non Muslims can start hating the Muslims and Islam as a whole, the Muslims should first stop waging their so called holy war on people and killing people in the name of Islam and then stop other Muslims from going around committing their heinous deeds. Most Muslims rejoice whenever there is a terrorist attack against the west.

Well, that actually makes a lot of sense. Although some of the Muslims do not rejoice and are appalled, many do. And those that do not rejoice often engage in denial that it's muslims that do the attacks.
