5381  Economy / Reputation / Re: [Doubt the possibility of a scam] BestChange Bounty and Signature Campaign. on: January 14, 2020, 09:09:22 PM
I doubt that BestChange signature campaign might be scam, though I can't vouch for them 100%. They are in business for long yers already and they have good reputation. I doubt that they would risk to damage their reputation in order to get some potential users from Bitcointalk.
About scam accusations - I haven't checked is it legit or not, but probably you can find accusation even against exchanges like Binance. Maybe it's not worth to judge service based only on it.
And there is no rule which would require every signature campaign to use escrow. There was a lot of campaigns which didn't used escrow and there was any issue about. I don't that risk of scam is big when campaign is runned by established trusted company.
Their rates are high, but it's not to good to be true. Number of accepted users isn't small, but there was much bigger campaigns and there was no issue in payouts.
But after all, warning tag isn't wrong thing and can stay until first round payments will be made
5382  Other / Meta / Re: Is bitcointalk.com also same member's website? on: January 14, 2020, 08:47:30 PM
It's a phishing website who will steal your password ans stuffs if you enter them in there. Stay away!
Are you sure about that? I haven't seen such information. There was some phishing websites like Bitcointalk.to, but I think it's not same case. It looks like unsucessful attempt to make competitor for Bitcointalk, using their name and .com domain which looks solid.
5383  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Handball - Euro 2020 on: January 14, 2020, 08:30:15 PM

I haven't been able to watch Handball since my high school years. It is not a popular sport in my country. I guess the whole world, too. But in fact, tournaments of this kind of games can be very enjoyable. For both watching and betting.

Where can we watch it?
At least in Europe, it's one of the most popular team sports after football and basketball, don't know how about other continents.
I don't know where you're from, but maybe there is TV channel broadcasting this event in your country. If no, you may tree to watch it here for free https://www.ehftv.com/int/
5384  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2019/20 on: January 14, 2020, 08:16:26 PM
Such an unfair decision for Valverde.
He won twice the La Liga title and has kept Barcelona on a competitive level this season as well. Always, the manager is blamed about the bad results of a team even if it is not his fault.
Why do you think it's unfair decision? Valverde failed many times and he was given many second chances after it. Collapse against Roma and Liverpool, lost Copa final, Supercup semifinal, terrible performance in away games this season - I think it's enough. If it's not his fault, I don't know what to say.
After all, I don't think that Valverde is bad manager. I think he would perfectly fit for teams fighting for Europa league spots or in the middle table. I only can say him thanks for 2 La Liga title and wish him luck in new career chapters.
@Maotezi, I don't think that Naida is talking about Federico Valverde Cheesy
5385  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2019/20 on: January 14, 2020, 02:28:37 PM
i bet everybody have no idea who the f is he lol
his coaching history does not really impressive unless for that beating barcelona t the camp nou.
I have watched lot of games of Betis when Setien managed them. He achieved 6th place in the league, but in next season something went fundamentally wrong with the team. They also didn't had good forward then.
But Setien is perfect manager for Barca style. But the main problem that he have even less experience in top teams than Valverde. Betis was biggest club in his career so far. Before he managed just Las Palmas and some lower division teams. He might be perfect choice for average team, but I hope that he won't fail in Barcelona.
5386  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: January 13, 2020, 10:30:22 PM
Finally it's official!
Quiqe Setien is new manager as expected:
https://www.fcbarcelona.com/en/football/first-team/news/1571121/quique-setien-is-the-new-coach-of-fc-barcelona
He signed contract until 30 June 2022. I expected it will be just until end of this season.
5387  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is BestChange safe? (Not an accusation) on: January 13, 2020, 09:44:45 PM
Thisis very old website and they are in business for more than decade. I've used them probably 4 years ago and didn't had any issue. I can't remember what exactly I exchanged, probably it was PerfectMoney or Payza. And I haven't heard bad reviews about them. BestChange also have their ANN topic on Bitcointalk:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3309245.0
OP, maybe you have faced phishing clone website of Bestchange which are made to scam people.
5388  Other / Meta / Re: Why does Bitcointalk not have a custom (specific) logotype? on: January 13, 2020, 09:09:54 PM
There is one Bitcointalk logo, but I think it's unofficial

But I think that logo isn't must have thing for forum. It's enough just to have that favicon IMO.
5389  Other / Meta / Re: Requesting a permanent ban for The-One-Above-All on: January 13, 2020, 08:57:10 PM
Well, but he haven't done anything to get permanent ban. Temp ban - yes, it's an option. Here we have freedom of speech and permanently banning biggest trollds just would give a reason like Ver to scream about censorship on Bitcointalk.
People like TOAA, game-protect, Bitcoin SV and other is annoying as fuck, but there is no enough reasons to ban them permanently. Ignore button is only solution now.
5390  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Handball - Euro 2020 on: January 13, 2020, 08:25:42 PM
I'm not big expert in handball, but I already watched few games of Euro 2020. Unfortunately, my country didn't qualified to championship again. I support Iceland, yes, they are underdogs, but their team is really good.
Denmark is one of favorites, but they lost first game and currently losing against Hungary.
Spain, Norway, Croatia is good as always
5391  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2019/20 on: January 13, 2020, 08:13:17 PM
Seems that announcement about Valverde will be published today or tomorrow. And it's already known who will replace him. It's Quiqe Setien, former manager of Betis. He will manage team until the end of season.
Interesting choice. Setien perfectly fits for original Barca style, but he don't have experience in top clubs.
Interesting fact that Valverde is first sacked Barca manager since Van Gaal who was sacked in 2003. It's common thing nowadays.
5392  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2019/20 on: January 12, 2020, 10:06:56 PM
Xavi rejected Barca offer, but he would interested to join Barca after end of season. He haven't proven himself as coach, but I would like to see him. Other candidate Koeman also rejected offer.
Other possible candidates is Pochetino, Quique Setien, B team coach Xavi Garcia.

I'd ear a rumor on Pochettino too but why so many coaches are refusing the offer?
Too much pressure?
Pressure is one of factors. And not everyone want to take over team in the middle of season. Xavi want start working in summer when he will able to buy players which he want. Koeman rejected offer because he want to continue working with Netherlands national team.
Seems that Barca will have to find coach for short term, until the end of season. Because it's obvious that we are going nowhere with Valverde.
5393  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cryptotalk Future on: January 12, 2020, 09:52:42 PM
Sometimes it's difficult to understand Yobit. They have spent lot of BTC for promotion of Bitcointalk here, but I'm not sure what returns did they got. From what I see there isn't even ads on their forums or direct promotion of Yobit exchange, I'm not sure how they monetize it. Maybe it become not viable anymore to promote Cryptotalk, spending a lot of money for and they just switched signature ads to Yobit.
But they are still paying for posts on Cryptotalk and it doesn't costs them much. Probably they will continue doing it for long, because for them it's good to have forum which can be used for shilling of their exchange.
But I'm sure that when Yobit will stop paying for posts on Cryptotalk, it will turn into ghost forum on the same day.

Another terrible news for Barca that Suarez is out for 4 months. Now Barca will have to search for replacement for him on this transfer window. Who it could be?

I turned on match on extra time only extra time and it was quite interesting. But penalty shootout was big disappointment because everything was decided after first to Atletico shots - Saul miss and Courtois save after Thomas shot.
5395  Other / Meta / Re: Do you post more when you are wearing a signature or? on: January 12, 2020, 09:17:18 PM
I've only been few weeks last year without paid signature. And then I didn't noticed that I post less. I'm just addicted to Bitcointalk and visiting this forum and making posts here is my daily habbit (or routine sometimes).
But honestly, I wouldn't had made over 6000 posts if there wouldn't be signature campaigns.
But I never try to count how many posts I make each week. I'm just sure that I reach 25 posts limit easy. Sometimes I look at spreadsheet, and I see that I made 26, 30 or sometimes even 40 posts, despite that I get paid just for 25 posts. When I was without paid signature, I'm sure that I was making similar number of posts.
5396  Economy / Reputation / Re: I believe this account is handled by someone else on: January 11, 2020, 11:10:44 PM
Based on what you wrote, it definitely looks suspicious. If @alani123 have staked Bitcoin address, I think we should ask him to post a signed message from this address. It probably will answer all questions. OP, have you tried to contact him on Bitcointalk when he didn't answered you on other platforms?
5397  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BitcoinNews.com's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: January 11, 2020, 11:05:15 PM
BTW, Pamoldar isn't the only player in our pool who had changed his username. micgoossens now is El duderino_.

Don't know if you guys seen it but there was another add by the side of the pitch for Bitcoin exchange. I forgot the name but it doesn't matter, BTC has started next phase of global adoption trough sports, namely Premier League.
I haven't noticed it today, but I remember seeing add of one decentralized exchange during La Liga game, but I can't remember their name. I think it's only matter of time when we will see more crypto services (mainly gambling websites) advertising on sports events, following Sportsbet.io path.

Anyone backing City to lose or draw tomorrow?  Grin Villa are fighting to stay out of the relegation zone which they could be in tomorrow depending on the result of the Bournemouth / Watford match.
Villa is very inconsistent teams, but personally, I don't see them making upset against City.
I think about backing Watford tomorrow, they have improved their results recently, while Bournemouth is awful without any good signs.
5398  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: [ANN] BITHD.com Razor (Card Design Hardware Wallet Released) on: January 11, 2020, 12:41:24 AM
Interesting concept of hardware wallet. It will be difficult to compete with biggest players in the market, but I wish you good luck. This wallet is very small, so it's good if you want to take it with yourself.
I see that Bithd have rechargable battery. How long it can work? And you have USB type B connection which is a bit old thing. I think USB type C would be better.
I took a look at the website and there is no price in USD. When I clicked buy everything is in Chinese... I think it is very important to see the website in English and the price in USD.
I just checked and I see everything is English on their website. I don't know, maybe they have changed it after your comment. And yeah, it would be good to have price on website. Though you can check it on Amazon and Ebay.
5399  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2019/20 on: January 11, 2020, 12:27:02 AM
I don't know if I am following the same La Liga that you guys are following at all. Barcelona is literally leading the league right now, they are at the top spot, albeit with the same points as Madrid I can give you that but at least they are the top team right now until that changes how could anyone say Barcelona is playing a bad season? Don't get me wrong it could be expected of them to be at the top with the players they have but same could be said about Madrid as well, many teams in the world are not leaders of their respective leagues just because they have a good team.
It's not about this season. It's 3rd season of Valverde and each season we play even worse. Remember how Barca failed against Roma and Liverpool. Then loss against Valencia in Copa, now against Atletico. And cherry on top that we are still wasting points against bottom table teams. It just can't be justified with level of players that we have. In any other big club Valverde would be sacked long time ago. Now Barca just turning into joke like Man United or Milan. Only individual level of players keep us on the top of table.
5400  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BitcoinNews.com's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: January 10, 2020, 11:08:21 PM
Next season we should have a higher stakes league, winner takes all (as well as the normal pool). It would make things a lot more fun for the high ballers.
I'm not against higher stakes, I would agreeto pay something like £50. But I think it's better to more interesting to have more players with current stakes, than less participants with higer stakes. And I don't think that winner takes all isn't good idea. Many players just would lose interest, because they will see that they have no chances to win. For example, probably I won't win this pool, but I still can reach top 5 to get prize for it.

A boring first half. I do not see in this match we will find any excitements at all. We can expect a 1 - 0 win for any team or a draw with either a 0 - 0 or a 1 - 1. I do not see any 2 - 0 or a 2 - 1 win for Sheffs. I gone with 2 - 1 for Sheffs and it seems I made a wrong decision. I hope I am wrong here, at least 1 or 1.5 points from this match would be nice.
We have first goal 54th minute and Sheffield United leading.
[/quote]
And it ended 1:0. Snodgrass scored on 92 minute and made result 1:1, but goal was cancelled after VAR review. It's good for me, because I got 1.5 point on Superbru Cheesy.
