I'm calling out LTU_btc!  I wanna get a chance to win my 10 bucks back!  Lolol.  You and me, who finishes higher at the end of the season, my Verstappen vs your pick (without Hamilton and Bottas or any Merc driver).  10 bucks...

Gogogo!
Ok mate, I'm in! I don't have many realistic choices, so I should pick one of Ferrari drivers. Let it be Leclerc!
Though, personally I'm not Ferrari fan and would prefer Verstappen finnishing higher Cheesy.
5382  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2019/20 on: January 25, 2020, 06:06:50 PM

3 games so far and FC Lionel Ter Stegen under Quique Setien is playing A LOT worse than Valverde's team  Roll Eyes Well, not that bad, I mean, today they had 78% ball possesion and almost 900 passes!! LOL some are saying that they're still passing the ball on the way to the locker room and the bus hahaha
Well, 3 first games of Setien wasn't good. But I think it's too early to judge him. Having huge ball posession and just passing ball isn't enough. Barca just weren't dangerous enough in attack. With absence of Suarez, we have lack of good forward. It's strange to say such words when we have Messi and Griezmann, but it's reality. And new formation 3-1-4-2 didn't really worked today. I hope that they will get Suarez replacement before end of transfer window.

Leonesa (3rd division club) - Atletico Madrid 2:1 Grin. What a hell did happened? I didn't watched this game unfortunately.
And there is lot of surprises tonight - Eibar kicked out by Badajoz, Betis eliminated by Rayo Vallecano, Celta by Mirandes.
In total, 10 teams from La Liga already eliminated! Wow! Most others also had difficult games. Seems that big clubs are playing, like there still would be second leg game.
5385  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Poll - How did you find out about Bitcointalk? on: January 23, 2020, 12:08:09 AM
Despite that it happened more than 5 years ago, I still remember it perfectly. Damn, time flies so fast... I was looking for Bitcoin forum in my native language, so I entered "bitcoin forumas" in Google search. And I was disappointed about search results, because I didn't found any decent local forums about Bitcoin.
But then I noticed this topic from "Other languages and locations" in search results - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=24339.0. Unfortunately, it wasn't very active, so I started to look into other sections of Bitcointalk. I was lurking here for half year maybe without having account, until I decided to sign up. But then I didn't made any posts and forgot about account. And then I came back here after 4 or 5 months and the rest is history.

RIP English.
Good job, @YOSHIE, seems that OP have quite many accounts to sbuse bounties. But I don't get, what's the point recover Newbie account with 2 posts. It has 0 value.
5388  Other / Meta / Re: Board-specific signatures on: January 22, 2020, 11:43:31 PM
Interesting idea. It would work similar like geo-targeting. I like your first point, signstures translated in other languages can make sig campaign more effective. But I'm sceptical about second point. Teo signature campaigns at the same time is too much. One of main rules in signature campaigns that you can't participate in more than one campaign at same time.
But I can't imagine how such feature can be implemented. It's not possible in SMF, maybe in new forum software, but I doubt that theymos would bother to make it, because I suppose it would require much work. One campaign is enough.

I hope the correction of my sales and now I want to fix it because the one posted is not mine anymore https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4887609.0
What? You think that we are stupid or what? Your account sales thread is archived - http://archive.is/R4hr3. So, changing thread title and post content will not help to clean your reputation.
5390  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2019/20 on: January 22, 2020, 11:17:27 PM
Ok, we played without optimal squad with many young players, but our performance was quite shameful. C'mon, it's third division club! I don't like to critizise players, but I don't understand what C.Perez is doing in Barcelona. I can't remember any good his matches and seems that this level is way to high for him.
But seems that all other La Liga teams also had difficult games. Valladolid already eliminated by Tenerife, Athletic and Granada needed extra time and penalties to pass this round.
5391  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: if you want to read bitcoin and other crypto news here are the sites to go on: January 22, 2020, 12:25:51 AM
Well, it's good that you didn't mentioned Ver's website Cheesy. These websites in your list is well known and it it can be good source of information. But still, you can't trust in them blindly, same like all news media in general. Sometimes they make misleading news to get some clicks or posting news which aren't 100% accurate. Worst thing is sponsored articles when they are shilling for some projects, which aren't always fully legit.
Adding another category for forums and blogs would be also suitable .
I think you can add steam platform to the list as it's a great source of information about bitcoin and cryptocurrencies actualities and news.
This thread is just about news websites, so I don't see point of adding forums and blogs. Especially when there isn't many good forums. Blogs might be a good idea, but it requires some more efforts and maybe it should be posted in spearate thread.
5392  Other / Meta / Re: 6000+ posts and 0 merit...and the winner 🥇 is... on: January 22, 2020, 12:08:57 AM
And he already got 1 merit. Ok, he got it for something what isn't bounty report. But c'mon, does complete bounty spammer really deserves to rank up? I don't think so...
I seen some users with with hundreds or +1000 posts with 0 merit. But +6000 posts and 0 merit, damn. Maybe it's new record.
It would be interesting to see something similar about high ranked members who made most posts without single earned merit.
5393  Other / Meta / Re: When will BCT change? on: January 22, 2020, 12:00:44 AM
I think it will never end. I've been here for 5 years and there always was more or less drama. No matter you like or hate it, I think it's normal thing. People have different opinions snd views, so it's normal that they can't agree on all questions. And sometimes it looks really childish. There is some never ending wars between users and it's obvious that none of users won't be able who is right and who is wrong there. Personally, I don't like it and I'm trying to stay I away from all these dramas. I can suggest it to you also. I just have better things to do in my life than fight internet wars on online forum.
5394  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Prince Harry's break with the Royal Family is a historic event...! on: January 21, 2020, 12:13:12 AM
Well, that's their life and I can't judge their decision. I understand them, being part of Royal Family isn't thst easy as it looks - there is so many many rules and restrictions and some of them are stupid, especially considering that we are in XXI century. And they just want to live normal life

To me she's just a gold digger and I don't think this marriage will last long.
I don't think that she is gold digger. Before she was well known actress with good career and she was earning good money already.
I just dom't like how news media have double standards for Kate and Meghan. They always trying to find something negative about Meghan, while they are praising Kate in every step. I think it's possible that relationship between Harry, Meghan and remaining Royal Family wasn't really good and it might be one of reasons of this decision.
5395  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is the most cheapest bitcoin miner in the Philippines? on: January 20, 2020, 11:53:09 PM
Just forget about cloud mining - it's old big scam scheme. 99.9% of cloud mining websites are just ponzi schemes, which aren't mining any coins at all, they don't even have mining hardware. They just use monry from new investors to pay for old investors and at one point they just make exit scam with all investors money.
And your question is strange a bit, because you're looking for cheap miners. But there simply no such thing. If you're going to invest into cloud mining scams, their cheapest plans gives smallest returns and you're not likely to reach ROI before it will turn into scam.
There are probably few legit cloud mining platforms, it's just not profitable and there is better ways how to spend your money.
And if you're looking to buy mining hardware to mine yourself, you're way to late to this train. And after all, mining isn't good choice for newbie with zero knowledge.
5396  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2019/20 on: January 20, 2020, 11:31:44 PM
And just like that, we have more games in Spain, but this time in the Copa del Rey. Who doesn't like midweek games  Grin

Given how the format changed this season (single-match), does anyone expect an upset? We're used to seeing the big teams getting KO'd in England in the league cup, maybe we'll see something like that in this "brand new" Copa del Rey? Fixtures for the top teams:

Sevilla vs Levante
Ibiza vs Barcelona
Salamanca vs Real Madrid
Lugroņes vs Valencia
Cultural Leonesa vs Atletico Madrid
I wouldn't expect many upsets. Big teams will play against amateur 3rd and 4th division teams, so there shouldn't be any problems. Unless they will play with completely reserve squads from youth teams.
Only one La Liga team is eliminated so far - Alaves lost to 4th division Jaen. And Levante won sgainst thrm just after penalties.
There is few games which might be interesting in this round, Levante - Sevilla probably will be best. Sociedad - Espanyol and Zaragoza - Mallorca might be interesting too.
5397  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Introduction of new BTC units to reflect present day prices to increase adoption on: January 20, 2020, 11:18:54 PM
Why to fix things which aren't broken? I think that adding new units isn't needed at all. It just would make things more complicated and add more confusion. I still can't remember how much mBTC or bits is worth and every time when I see these units used, I always have to use converter to convert it into BTC or Satoshi. More units would have same effect. Personally, for BTC and Satoshis is enough. I don't know what problem to use Satoshi for smaller values of BTC.
Take a look at fiat - it don't have 10-20 different units. Basically, it's just full units (dollars, euros, pounds) and smaller units - cents or pennies.
5398  Other / Meta / Re: [Discussion] A Bug in Bounty Campaigns – Subconscious Perception on: January 19, 2020, 11:57:09 PM
Interesting post and good point. I've never thought about it, but probably you're right. Avatars is really eye-catching thing. Usually I recognize users exactly from avatar. First I see avatar, only later I look at nickname. Post content and signature comes to my eyes only later.
I remember times when there was some Avatar campaigns here on Bitcointalk. It was separate from signature campaigns. But their payment rates wasn't high. Probably main reason of it that you can't put clickable link of advertised website on your avatar. Just found old thread with some avatar campaigns:

Guys, how is possible,, you didnt add VALENCIA-BARCELONA and u add worse matches as Alaves-Villareal or Espanyol-Bilbao for next week football betting??

This is a mistake, you know Valencia-Barcelona is 1000% more popular match than other in next week La Liga matches   Wink Wink
There is still plenty of time until next round, this round just ended few hours ago. So, I believe that they will add more games soon. No doubt that Barca and Real games attracts most attention in La Liga.
But now we can't expect that they will add all games from top leagues, because this proccess is manual and time consuming. But things are going to change, as @TheQuin posted few days ago.
5400  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2019/20 on: January 19, 2020, 11:33:19 PM
Well, today we saw something similar to old good Barca. Over 80% ball posession, over 1000 passes made eith good accuracy. Though, final result doesn't looks amazing, considering that opponent parked a bus and played one man down for 20 minutes. I think it's mainly because of missing Suarez and it can be serious problem against stronger opponents. Good thing about this match - finally we didn't conceded goal, it's rare thing this season.
And goodbye to my over 3.5 goals bet on this game :/.
