I don't feel any emotion for them as always a boring team. But Germany should have qualified. They are 100 times better than Spain. Croatia vs Brazil: Easy win for Brazil. Netherlands vs Argentina: Argentina will have real test in the match. But in case if they win then it will be a great match between Brazil and Argentina in the semi. Morocco vs Portugal: May be the world cup for Morocco will come to an end. Considering that the Spanish media laughed so much at the German team for their elimination in the group stage, their own exit happened pretty quickly too. Out in the round of 16. Not their best performance, tbh haha.
Spanish team deserves to be kicked out. They are boring. When you are stronger in pen and paper including real strength in the ground, you play football, you attack and take advantage. The way Spain played yesterday it felt like Morocco was a team with the same strength as them. All the time they were busy controlling the mid field and defense. The attacks were weak. At some point they were waiting for the extra time and in the extra time they were waiting for penalty shootout. They were basically following the same strategy as Morocco. If Germany wanted they could have already kicked them out by letting Costa Rica score some goals and this would have made that both Germany and Spain to be out of the way of this World Cup but the point is not that,the point is that Spain was a young team with many talented players who got a really huge experience by playing against other national teams in the World Cup and they are not responsible for what the Spanish media does.It was the lack of experience that made them lose and emotions when hitting penalties as young players.I think the fruits of this Enrique experiment we are going to see no sooner than the other World Cup although I hope even in the Euro they will be a great show and not like this one. |

Barcelona has a chance to become champions of La Liga this season. They are able to perform well. On the other hand, the performance of their first opponent Real Madrid is slightly deteriorating. Their main striker Benzema has been out of the squad for a long time. Now if the Barcelona team is able to maintain the consistency of their performance then they can become champions. Meanwhile, Lewandowski and Raphinha have consistently performed well.
Barcelona may have managed to get first place this week but the La Liga journey this season is still ongoing, several matches will still be held and you can say this is not finished, if Barcelona does not improve the composition of the team it has by adding new players in defense it will be difficult to get victory this season because Barcelona has a weak point that can pose a serious threat. I'm actually worried about Manchester United more than Liverpool in the rest of the season. The reason for it is that I find Manchester United's attacking performance quite weak especially on the recent weeks of the league. They can't score goals comfortably. Their attackers are wasting so many goal opportunities which has cost them two or three points from time to time. Manchester United should find a solution to this problem. Maybe signing a striker would be helpful. They have parted ways with Ronaldo already.
Rashford and Martial seemed worrying in the recent times. If they don't show some positive performances after this break then they will really need the help of another striker. Garnacho is also there to help of course but we never know how consistent he can be. I can't fully trust him just because he saved them in a match. He is still a very young striker.

Instead he made another version of Barcelona and the result is almost same. Well done to Morocco, they could have won it before the shootout but when needed, Bono was a real hero. He was like a super hero in the shootout, unreal display of goalkeeping. Can Switzerland shock the world too by beating Portugal? I guess my strategy to bet on the underdogs are not going to pay off in these final matches. So far these upsets has gained me some good profits, but I think things will change now. The odds for the remaining matches are not going to be as high as in the qualifying and knockout rounds and the chances for an upset is going to be lower. My two best money spinners has been Germany and Japan.... but I think France and Brazil is going to go to the end.  I would guess that underdogs was a bit more of a thing during group games, those were recoverable and that's why. I still think that it will be more favourites game to win from here on out. Argentina will get the win, Brazil will, and Spain will, etc etc. The real trouble begins when England and France plays, and Spain vs Portugal probably, and Brazil vs Argentina, these are the games to look out for because in those games there are no favourites, both teams could win in those games, until that point we will not have anything that will matter that much. Hopefully it will not be something that bothers your betting and you will end up recovering and winning a lot.
