This is a super useful calculator for finding the odds of loss streaks. If you make 2000 bets, the chance of 10 losses in a row (with a 52.5% chance of losing) occurring at some point in your bets is 78%!
Quite informative, thanks! But you do not take into account that an ordinary person will not make 2000 bets in one session ... it seems to me that a reasonable number is within 400, (and as far as I understand on the site, there is no way to automate the process). I have run about 5 different simulations and I see a rather small probability of getting 10-13 losses in a row (if we take the real number of bets made in one session).

Are we talking about the same site because I've done millions of rolls on FBC now using auto (which is actually by the way one of the fastest autos if not the fastest on my connection).

Even on manual, which I do for games like Blackjack or Roulette at top speed,,, easily easily 2000 in a few hours:) Have easily seen >15 streak on roulette black/red!

Don't compare this with investing, but you really have done it right but it's all well controlled and all of that is just for entertainment because gambling is not an investment and gambling must be differentiated because of the far risk that you lose in the game.
For me, investing in a bankroll is also not completely good, it is only at stake and still, the most important thing is gambling to maximize their game, it does not interfere with investment money.

No no don't worry I would never compare gambling with investing, like I said, unless it's an actual investment into a bankroll like many casinos used to do in the early days (and some still do today but now not as many as before).

Gambling should always first and foremost be an entertainment form and if we enjoy gambling, we already win half the day right guys?Smiley

Newbies tend to say it but we all know that if we don't use it and everyone just holds, BTC would never go up in value. You've been through 2 past rallies and now in third. Surely not the time for regret?

I think whatever changes on the value of BTC, there is always a regret and we mostly rant about it. When it is down, you regret not to sell when it has higher value but never try to buy some when it happened, then you gonna regret again when the price got higher but you dont not have any investment from it.
Every situation is an opportunity rather than regretting it, take it. Buy when you have to hold, then sell when you think you already have profit. Take risk, play the market.

Not really, I do regret some things I did in 2017 but less and less so. As long as you learn some of your experiences from mistakes and choose never to repeat them, you have already gained something valuable from it. I think if you or I joined late like in this rally, we would be making the mistakes today and learning them for the next rally:)

Basically, time to get new exchanges guys if you're still actually using these which are known to be risky. So many easy choices now to not use them:)
Well, scam sites like Yobit are continuously spreading, it comes along with the spread of the crypto market. If we have an experience in Yobit, it could be easy for us to know their allies. Will it is to know that they are also clever to hide their real intention but that won't take so long and they will give up. That is why we need to cautious in using exchanges and must have to extend our search, especially for new exchanges as they are prone to this.

That's just the nature of people and human. Scams spread all the time in real life in every sector. The Nigerian email scam still goes on alive and well today and I can still see in 2021 in the news people in my country fall for it.

Same as ponzi and get rich quick schemes, same as MLMs. Always people find new spins and new victims. Crypto and exchanges are not different like this:)

Multi Magic has ended for us with my team failing to beat Atletico. Seems like we both ended killing each other's dreams now and Real Madrid will be gleeful with joy after this. We did try very hard but it was just impossible for both sides. Both wanting to score but also both not really giving enough space. Hm!
5386  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: May 08, 2021, 09:00:51 AM
Crunch time everyone! I'm just a little bit nervous that we seem like such big favorites against Atletico. Yes they haven't won for such a long stretch of time here but this is the first time they come as leaders and first time with Suarez, so I feel like the value bet is actually on Simeone's team.

As long as it is fun I will accept the result:)
5387  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: May 07, 2021, 02:38:26 PM
Well Pirlo is still young as a coach and dosent have that experience like i have been saying. The league is on another level now and has higher quality footbal right now then previous year.Pirlo has an amazing team. But that team getting old he tried to put younger players and that costed him the entire season

Indeed, when your top scorer and game winner is still one of the oldest while the younger ones didn't meet expectations, you can expect Pirlo is going to shoulder most of the blame. It's a good tactic if you have a good balance, but I think he was a bit too naive to think he could try something so dramatic in a league where everyone else around you have such strong attacking squads.

Yobit, Coinsbit and also P2PB2B are market scams. I am having a deposit problem at Yobit, until now it's still not resolved. they don't respond to users who have problems.
Avoid trading on obscure exchanges as that will only hurt you. as is currently the case with many problematic exchanges. you as a trader must be more selective in choosing, on this forum many give bad reviews

I had no idea P2PB2B is still around. Now THAT was a pure scam site. In fact, as soon as you saw an ICO listed there or saying they would list there, then you know for sure they're lousy and should be avoided.

Basically, time to get new exchanges guys if you're still actually using these which are known to be risky. So many easy choices now to not use them:)

I am heartbroken and really upset with what happened today with my bet.

I don't know how to rule in these cases too. I mean, there are cases in football also players suddenly get injured on their own and cannot make more substitutions so teams have to play with fewer men, it's an advantage or disadvantage, imagine those who bet on the other team if you void it, they would be more upset:)

On the other hand this is one of many ways esports can fix matches and why I stay away.
5390  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My feelings after 11 years with crypto. on: May 07, 2021, 12:16:43 PM
You are not alone.  I have heard similar stories from others. They sold their BTC too early. I also have a story of 7 years of cryptocurrency. I have used BTC as a payment method a lot of the time and I caught some BTC, which was earned from buying / selling digital products.  However, I spent BTC at that time. I could have made a lot of money if I had kept BTC.

If you've been in the space for as long as you say you have then it's quite weird to hear you say you've used it and look back and say you should have kept it.

Newbies tend to say it but we all know that if we don't use it and everyone just holds, BTC would never go up in value. You've been through 2 past rallies and now in third. Surely not the time for regret?

I have never bet that much legs on any multi so I can't predict what I'd do. I suppose it's like the trader who sets a take profit limit order but decides after all he's happy with profit and just closes a position. Both cases I've never experienced so can't tell;)

Very tough about IPL too,,, Cricket really killed our dreams I had Mumbai Indians to win in that promo too.

I did see the free 0.2 mbtc casino bonus given too because of IPL cancellation, thank you for that:) No other sportsbook gave it as I know:)
5392  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why ETC price goes up so high recently? Does it have something related to ETH? on: May 07, 2021, 10:07:53 AM
It's probably because ETC is the original chain, not DAO hacked roll-back version. If forked one make new highs why not original chain make something similar too?
In the end it's all about speculation though, it goes up and down naturally. Market doesn't need to be reasonable, even a meme coin can threat Top 3 coins.

Well ETC never stopped being the original chain for all these years and it's always taken them a long time to climb to ETH's place, so it is kind of a valid question to ask why now:)

It's not like it didn't have other chances before, just a bit strange now all of a sudden to hit such big highs, so yeah seems to be just plain speculation in the end.
5393  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcasino.io 💜 — Tesla Qualifier #3 is ON 🚘 75 mBTC prize pool 🚀 on: May 07, 2021, 08:45:51 AM
I know that it isn't my place to say this but man, you might want to use your money besides just for gambling, I assume that you are going to get a lot of money and I think you could probably make more money if you put it somewhere where you can invest it.

Oh don't misunderstand me at all! I love gambling and I see it as pure entertainment not for profits, which is why it can be quite easy for me to control. I admit I have spent more than I wanted (redeposits and going over limits and chasing losses etc).

Gambling is just a hobby. Never see it as an investment or profit making thing. As soon as you do that, you lose.

Except if you can actually invest in bankroll of course (but still is a gamble end of day).
5394  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When you heard about Bitcoin vs. When you first used Bitcoin on: May 07, 2021, 08:04:45 AM
I can't remember exact dates or even a period of time, but I'd like to think I got into Bitcoin as soon as I heard about it. I can't really remember. However, I do remember I was looking for an alternative for Paypal, and payment processors at the time, and that's how I stumbled upon Bitcoin. So, I probably got into it in a short period of time after happening upon it.

I wish I had a clearer recollection, but I don't think it was of any significance upon discovery, I do remember being pretty new to the concept of cryptocurrencies, and not having a clue. So, it definitely took me a while to actually get up to speed with things.

I think the main difference with new people coming into crypto/Bitcoin now and 10 years ago is exactly this. People used to learn and pick up Bitcoin because they were looking for alternatives of money. Like you.

Now, people are coming not to use it but to "become rich". Not that it's wrong to do that but I think a lot of people aren't really interested in using it now...

What a huge disappointment was Arsenal yesterday night. They probably under evaluated their opponents and that cost them the final.Well done to Villareal who just played calmly and got what they wanted.

Yeah, I guess Arsenal disappointed a lot of people last night. Even Villareal probably did, scoreless semifinals are not the most exciting thing in football.

I also think the Gunners would have been a bigger challenge for United, and now Villareal are dreaming of Champions League qualification, but United look just too strong for them. Look at all United's firepower now.
5396  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ BitcoinPRBuzz.com's ⚽ Spanish La Liga ⚽ Football Pool Discussion Thread on: May 07, 2021, 06:07:20 AM
I was really hoping Real would go to UCL final but I guess now we have a really hot competition in La Liga with all teams nothing left to fight for:) Tonight's game won't have any impact on us but I'm already feeling a lot of chills for the crunch match with Atletico.

My heart is torn. I want us to win. But I also feel Atletico deserve La Liga AND don't want Real to win!
5397  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: XRP is pumping now. on: May 06, 2021, 08:28:40 PM
Correction as it may, probably that's exaggerating calling this 10% fall as deep correction where just how you explain the fact that Bitcoin do expereiened more after reaching the new time high.

For most experienced traders, this kind of fall is an open opportunities to position yourself , some may just add more coins from their previous assets while other are working with short term strategy and keeps following the trend to try scalping the est benefits that
they can have.

Yeah, that's kinda what I was saying;) You can't call what happens frequently to the asset a "deep correction". Especially not when it's still very close to the (current) ATH from 12 years.

Traders and scalpers especially love these dips. It's clear the rally's not over yet and to get in quickly at 15% off the top is just easy for them, especially on leverage knowing another push for the top will happen.
5398  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: May 06, 2021, 08:18:00 PM
Antonio Conte become the first coach success broken dominance Juventus to get trophy every years more than seven time, now the era for Inter Milan get scudetto, but right now most interested with second, third and fourth position who will be success get this place. After AC Milan dominance broken they difficult with left match can be consistent and get ticket for champion league or not.

I wouldn't rule out Juve coming right back next season. Inter looked like they were losing steam and I keep saying you can't expect to play like they do all the time (current form not early season form) and expect to keep winning. Them KO'd out of Europe proves this for sure.

Most interesting for me to see now is if Ronaldo and Juve can actually appear in next UCL.
