Bizarro guys, they are complaining there is not enough vol in their stawk (un)business and then they want less vol in BTC? I wonder how much he would want to pay for taming

OK, I'm out. Sold everything @ 6120 euro. Only have some Dash and Byteball left. Gonna watch this whole Segwit2X-thing from the sidelines, I'll buy back cheaper or more expensive depending on the outcome.

Hope this selling everything pans out as well as the last time I did.

Last time you sold was at 600 euro to buy a Ducati. You should be proud now riding the most expensive Ducati ever?

Yeah... hahhahahahaha

#r3kt

Funny how folks try to come into this thread and talk their bullshit, either FUD or consumerism with an asset such as bitcoin, in which we already should recognize as one of the best appreciating of assets.  Furthermore, lessons should have been learnt, but these guys never learn and they sell and then buy higher and then sell and then buy higher... . which should indicate that you should not be going full fiat - unless you just happen to be randomly lucky and like to play against the odds.

Maybe it should be described as fear induction based upon:  "being over invested"?

Well, of course selling out, so far has not been the most productive way of handling BTC. Of course there also is the fact that on a long enough timeline the... . (You know the rest), also is true. So my plan is to hold and grow, but split off gradually more to increase quality of life, which is not translating into lambinos and duckatis in my case. Lol.

Not that I could argue with spongebob, but the thing is a good idea, we are a bit underestimating it, according to myself Smiley
But apparently the dump is actually due to a prince in saudi arabia saying something bad?!?
http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2017-10-23/bitcoin-tumbles-after-saudi-prince-calls-crypto-enron-making

This just might cause it to tumble like it has.
AM I right? Roll Eyes

The prince already left the scene... .

nice support at 7000, we are back on track Cheesy
lol
let's just hope we wont go at 6500 Undecided

It is a dress rehearsal, will go down to 5000 € very fast.
In that case is all good cuz i have some fiat left to buy more  Tongue

Watch close, set your orders ready, it will be a very small window (between now and Nov. 10). I expected this, but it seems to come early... . Not ready mobilising the fiat.
Why I think this : look at the transactions, selling at round numbers, that is not experienced people selling... .

Oh, I didn't noticed, thanks for sharing information with us. I'm not happy to see these news, because I always keep 99Bitcoins faucet opened in one of tabs. It's one of my favorite faucet and it's not nice that they don't inform users that they run miner in background. I only found article that they reviewed Coinhive miner - https://99bitcoins.com/webmining-monetize-your-website-through-user-browsers/

EDIT
Today we can see this annoucement on the bottom of 99Bitcoins faucet:
[IMPORTANT] Upcoming Faucet Updates
We are testing a new business model for the fuacet by running a low cpu Monero miner in the background. This shouldn’t affect your computer’s performance and hopefully will help us keep the faucet alive. If you encounter specific issue please let us know.

Yeah, I noticed that announcment today as well.  They should have put that up before they tried anything.  They had my laptop breathing fire it was so hot.

I abandoned 99 two weeks ago because of this.

Anyone having issues with Kraken atm?
Seems that the whole thing is running off a windows 95 1996 PC!!

It is running on a Windows toaster... . Dropping off every 5 minutes... .

WTF? How much money must have been made with this lot by now? Can't they fund a proper server!!!

They just replaced their Flinstones server, so they consider this a time lapsing improvement (it was 100 USD in the fourth hand shop).

i got mine too i think its just a glitch or bug they already fix it

It took 32 days for me... . :-)

no, no it didn't...jeez this thread is just full of trolls  Roll Eyes
anyone still reading? coinpot is fine guys...there's plenty of attempts to discredit them, but they pay out to everyone quickly and without any fuss

I stopped checking this topic because i never had an issue with coinpot. Sad to see this trolls posting here. Thank you for reaching out. In my opinion, Coinpot is the best site for faucet users. It is so simple and fast. I wish more faucets could adopt this micropayment system. Anyone who is not using this site yet, please ignore above trolls and try it yourself. You will not regret.
I don't think that we can call these people as a trolls if they are complaining here about Coinpot service. If they aren't getting withdrawals or their deposit wasn't credited, they just came here to share their experience. If you didn't had any issues with Coinpot, it doesn't means that everything is fine for other people also Smiley. But it's always would be best to contact with Coinpot support if you have issues, in recent weeks I saw that some people got responses from Coinpot. Maybe we can expect that their support can become better than it was until now.

To be clear for all the guys who cannot read English : the problem is not to take something OUT of Coinpot but to put something IN it. And the problem seems to be related to Dogecoin transferts only. So before calling troll, learn to read. For the rest Coinpot indeed works fine. Mailing to support is useless, they never reply.

no need to be so defensive, yes we can read english...apparently dogecoin transferts are taking 32 days  Roll Eyes

You have just accused them as being trolls. And I don't know what you based your accusations from but from what I see it, they've come here to complain because they have nowhere to go after trying to reach the CoinPot support. And some of them do seem to have valid problems and they have not come here to just scream 'scam' or anything like that.

Just what others have said, if it has been working for you, it doesn't mean it has worked for everybody else. I don't think that the CoinPot system is perfect, no system is, and when things go wrong you'd expect that users can get help from the support team if they have any, or any kind of help/response.

Just so everybody know, so far, everything has been working for me, including my Dogecoin deposits and I do hope it will stay that way.

my accusation is based on reading this thread and the threads for other popular services - faucets, ad networks, microwallets - on this forum

its simple - the people who are genuine honest users are getting paid (and their deposits are crediting just fine) , and if they have any problems then they get good support directly from the service. they don't come on here posting that they are happy about the service...because who does that?
however those that are cheats and scammers get butthurt when they are banned (and not paid) by these services - so they troll and trash talk here to try to get some revenge. there is probably also an element of competitors services creating sock puppet accounts to do the same (see the high % of complaints that come from newbie accounts)

so from an newcomer or outsider reading this thread it looks like coinpot is bad - but id say 99.99% of good honest users have no problems. its just the loud obnoxious scammers who make all the noise
as i said this is not just coinpot - its a common pattern on this forum for any succesful service

its useful i think, for those who have no problems to occasionally post our satisfaction here. to at least provide a bit of counterbalance to all the nonsense.
but maybe its futile Sad

If you have been reading this thread then you must have seen that I and a few others have repeatedly saying that we have not had any problems so far. But I don’t have the benefit [or the lack] of reading other forums of this kind of service and so I look at those complaints as potential valid complaints, because they are not just about getting banned and not paid, some of them have trouble with the 2FA verification and some about combining accounts [those with and without email].

Also the line of logic that those who do not get paid are dishonest and those who do are not, is as bad as those accused are guilty and those who are not are not guilty.

And guess what, I first joined this forum because I wanted to complain when otherwise I wouldn’t have because I didn’t think there would be any reason to.

i think you are misunderstanding what im saying a little. this isnt a criminal trial - ultimately it doesnt matter if you are "guilty" or "not guilty", all that matters is whether coinpot think you are a good honest user or a bad user

coinpot is a business...

if they think you are a good honest user then it makes logical/business sense that they will pay you, credit your deposits (in less than 32 days!) and reply quickly to any support issues you have. this is my experience and by the sounds of it, yours too. they would quickly die if they treated their good users poorly.

if they think you are a bad user (scammer/cheat/bot/troll/abusive/whatever, its their rules) then there is no incentive for them to pay you, credit your deposits, or waste time getting into a support argument . if you are not paid and not getting any support response then you should probably assume you fall into this category Smiley

thats my point

"then you should probably assume you fall into this category"

You are making way to much assumptions about as well the intentions of other users and the Coinpot business. Coinpot had a lot of technical problems in the beginning, my problem also goes back to the early days and the fact that their support is non existant is a generally known "FACT", not an assumption. Further most users, also here agree that in general it operates fine, even without support. Your trolling makes more dammage to the image of Coinpot than all the problems people mention here.

So let me get this straight.

The CME Group is supposed to launch Bitcoin futures trading on Nov 14th. Then, "The Idiots Who Shall Not Be Named" are set to launch SegWit2x on Nov 16th.

And everyone thinks this timing is nothing more than coincidental??   Huh

I asked myself the same question. Now a plausible explanation maybe is to cause a massive shake-out... .

558  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: November 04, 2017, 01:50:48 PM

Bitcoin is trying to compete with assets like Gold. You can't "fork" Gold or redefine what Gold is and that has value. Bitcoin's resistance to re-definition, likewise has value. Some people are trying hard to damage this resistance in order to say "see? Bitcoin is crap, it can be forked, it can be inflated through forks, uncertainty can be introduced on what fork will be the "right" one, etc etc... gold doesn't have all this bullshit, I'll stick with gold / stocks / fiat".

This is why all the forkers are cancer. They are undermining bitcoin, or are actively trying to control it, under any narrative like "bigger blocks". Even when they had their "big blocks" with BCH and the 8mb fork, now they are trying to take BTC to 8mb as well with S2X. Why don't they simply stick to BCH? It's simple: Because it was never about big blocks, it was about CONTROL.

I would even go so far to say that for some of the bad actors involved, it's not even about control. If they are secretly being state-sponsored, then it's about bringing down Bitcoin entirely. Or at least dividing it, diluting it, and undermining it so much that it gets completely marginalized in the public eye, forever seen as a chaotic niche geek thing and not seen as the serious financial game changer that it is.

It's almost like their game plan is "Well if we can't centralize control of Bitcoin, then we'll continue to try and undermine it."

Everything Chinese is owned and controlled by the Pboc for it 's own purpose and goals.
