541  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What to do when prices are falling on: December 21, 2017, 11:52:02 AM
If you are an experienced trader, the fact that price rises or falls is unrelevant, as you can gain in both directions.
Of course, if you have only bitcoin in your wallet, and you have no idea about trading, this can be a problem :-)
542  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How To Make Money From The Bitcoin Crash on: December 21, 2017, 01:15:53 AM
Out of some inevitable corrections (where you can gain a lot, if you know the job), I don't see any crash in the next future.
You can bet that in january a lot of new people will try to jump on the bitcoin wagon, so the price will rise and rise.
Then, we'll see.
543  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: The "C ICO/bounty" is most likely a scam on: December 19, 2017, 11:54:49 PM
Well, this is my first campaign and - as I started just two days ago, if it is a scam, my loss would be just...zero :-)

But I'm very surprised that - if it is the case - even members with knowledge and experience of the crypto market was scammed.

How is it possible? There is no a way to understand if a ICO is a scam?

More: if it's really a scam, it seems you know who the scammer is: you can't do anything to stop/punish him?

Sorry for these dumb questions, but I?m just trying to understand how the system works.
544  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Where are we in the bubble on: December 19, 2017, 10:34:41 PM
Absolutely we are in a bubble; but I think that the explosion of the bubble is very far: actually, the bitcoin users are still fery few, so there is still a lot of space for improvement.
I don't talk only about bitcoin value, but the world crypto.
It remember to me the .com or the domain bubble at the beginning of the internet, when you could sell any kind of stupid name for thousands of dollars.
The of course the bubble exploded, but the market is still active.
Btw, it needes ome years to achieve a sort of stability.
I think that we have still at leasta 2-3 years to profit of crypto bubble.
Believe or not, we are pionieers in far west :-)

That's ok, now I begin to understand something and I thank you for the warning, I'll take care; it's true the about all my post are in politics or off topic, because in other threads I try to learn and I still don't feel ready to give a a serious contribution.
But I'd like a better rank so it seems that the only way is to post something.

If you're not here to contribute seriously then why are you here? And why do you care about a better rank so much? I'm guessing to move up in ranks for a bigger payout for your signature campaign, right? And this is exactly what's wrong with this forum and most of the users here. People sign up to this forum with only one intention in mind and that's to earn money even though they either don't know anything about bitcoin or care about it at all other than they heard you can get paid to post here, so people force themselves to post in threads they either know nothing about or make low quality contributions in the only threads they do know something about (which are usually spam threads created just for that entire purpose).

I just cut the quote, that it was too big.
Firstly, thank you to find the time for a so detalied answer. Admitely, I didn't understand the system: someone said to me "you can make a decent money just sending some messages", I checked, I saw a lot of people posting what you call shit posts, and I token the conclusion that this is the way things are working here. I was wrong and I'm happy that someone warned me before being banned.
As I said I've a limited experience in crypto, but a good and long one in forex, so I think I can give a good contribution.
I'll start to post in that section.
By the way, as you said, there is a structural problem: if there is a gain in posting garbage, it will be very difficult to stop low quality post.
May be, it could be a good idea if shit poster didn't receive any payment, but I understand that ICO managers don't have any interest to stop who promotes them.
Well, we'll see, thank you again for the advices.

547  Other / Meta / Re: Account Ban on: December 19, 2017, 01:01:18 PM
I'm impressed.
If even a Hero Member can be banned without any explanation, just after an arbitrary evaluation of someone about "low quality post", well...
it means that this is not a community, but a kind of North Korea or Ceausescu's Romania.
I don't know what to say, but to think that in any moment my account could be banned without apparent reason, make me very unconfortable.

Oh do shut up. People are banned for breaking the rules. It's not staff's fault if people don't read them. I would suggest you read the rules because the majority of your posts are shitposts in Off Topic and Politics which is a quick way to get yourself banned. I hope this is a clear enough warning for you.

Yours sincerely,

Kim Jong Un.

But I'd like a better rank so it seems that the only way is to post something.

Just two questions:

1) who - and by what - decides if a post is a shit post? I don't think my post were pieces of genius, but...why "shitpost"?
2) if staff - and you, it seems - don't like politics and off topics, why this sections exists? May be a better choice could be to delete them.

In any case, as I said I try to understand what to do here; it's understandable that senior mebers are pissed off with "low quality post" but I don't thik you will educate newbees just banning them without explanation.
And - before to be banned (if it would be the case, I hope not) I'd like to be warned before.
Anyway thank you for the advice, I'll try to improve the quality of the post; I've enough to say about traditional trading, I'm just trying to figure how can I apply my expertise to crypto.
Have a nice day

549  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What to do when prices are falling on: December 19, 2017, 08:58:50 AM
The strategy when the price are falling - I'm talking generally - depends very much from the amount of money you have as reserve.
I mean, if you have enough money, and there is some chances of growing back, of course the best strategy is to wait.
If you don't have money, this can be too risky, and probably itė's better to save what you can and to move on with another coin.
550  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What to do when prices are falling on: December 19, 2017, 01:04:41 AM
Of course, a "right" answer doesn't exist.
Moreover, cryptocurrencies are so crazy in their behavior that any advice would sound silly.
Al we can do is to try to apply standard trade strategies (you know, Fibonacci, Elliot Waves, Fundamental Analysis and so on).
So, when the prices are falling, try to evaluate with these systems.
This is far form a good solution, but it's better than nothing.

I partially agree, but - for exemple - in september I was pretty sure that Bitcoin was on fifth wave, but... of course I was wrong. Sad

I think the the cryptodomain is too unstable to apply classical analysis.

May, gambling is a better solution (just kidding, but... not too much)
551  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: how to become a trader on: December 17, 2017, 11:50:32 PM
The best way to learn to trade is to work with an experimentated trader.
Believe me, to learn by trying and mistakes is very expensive, and there is the possibility that you will be out of money before to learn anything.

I agree 100%. Talking about forex, I made a lot of stupid moves believing I was a genius. I wasn't Sad
Now with bitcoin it seems different, volatility is so high that usual analisys apparently don't work, but... in short time, who knows the job will survive, the others... bye bye

553  Other / Off-topic / Re: What causes suicidal thoughts? on: December 17, 2017, 02:16:14 PM
I read that the first cause is depression. Probably. But in a lot of cases is loss of hope, generally speaking.
I don't have suicidal thoughts, but I think that if I had an incurable diseas that make me suffer, probably I'd start to thing about suicide.

I think mining will be banned in future due to energy waste
555  Other / Off-topic / Re: how to be positive on: December 07, 2017, 01:56:31 AM
To be positive it's not unreal optimism.
To be positive means concentrate you energy on what you can do.
If you blame someone ore something, you are o victim.
It you choose action, you are a winner.

Go on!
556  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you have any idea why the WORLD has so many religions and beliefs? on: December 07, 2017, 01:35:02 AM
Because any religion is only an archetypal projection of a parental image.
And any society has one.

558  Other / Off-topic / Re: Any newbie wanna talk so that I can increase the Post Counts? on: December 06, 2017, 05:05:30 PM
I don't like this way, to write something just to grow in rank.
I'd like a more useful way to give a contribution.
559  Other / Off-topic / Re: how to be positive on: December 06, 2017, 09:16:32 AM
To be positive doesn't mean to deny reality, it means to focus on what it's possible (POSitive, POSsible, POtential, POwer, have the same latin root, the latin verb "posse", "to can")
So, the sercret is to ask "What can I do in this situation?"
