541  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are you selling your altcoins so soon? on: February 12, 2018, 05:42:44 AM
Mostly people have fear and they expect x10 in 1 week, they dont see the result, they think that they have lost their money and so they sell
I'm holding all my altcoins waiting for all the completment of the project  and then i'll choose what to do
Now it's the time to buy!

These people should have to stop and remember about one good trait of character that is called patience. Wait for a while, and the award will come to you. Never hurry when you are dealing with crypto.
542  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: $12000 to invest in long term. Which coin? :D on: February 12, 2018, 05:34:07 AM
Which is a safe coin to invest in the long term?
How long should I hold it?

Is there a risk that I might lose it all?

I am a noob in cryptocurrencies. Help.  Huh

I was thinking Litecoin, is it a good idea?

Well, for newbie, i will said that 12.000 dollars is much money to trade with because you dont have any experience yet in trading.
I think reduce the amount is suggested because there is a big chance that you can loss all of your money. Thats the worst risk.

I also do not think that a newbie should operate with such a great amount of money. Just start from 500- 1000 dollars. Pick the cryptos that are most promising, i.e. NEO, Cardano, ARK, Ethereum, Monero.
543  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Waves Sell Or Hodl? on: February 12, 2018, 05:31:02 AM
I have 100 Waves. Its price now falling down and down. I'm in Confusions Sell it or Hodl it now!

Waves is a pretty good cryptocurrency. If you do not trust it more, you can simply exchange it for NEM, NEO, EOS or Cardano, for example. It seems to me these are the best altcoins of this year.
544  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: People, why are you so scared? on: February 12, 2018, 05:26:59 AM
I'm really curious. I see about 50% money got out of market. So that means 50% people dont believe in this technology or doesnt even know what is this all about. Some country wants to ban crypto? So what, there are hundrets of other countries. Crypto is made to fuck up those stupid countries who doesnt respect freedom and technology. Why are humans so advanced today? Phisicaly, we are almost the same last few thousand years, and yes, it is becouse of technology. You dont believe in technology, and especialy in this kind of technology? Even better, we need those greedy motherfuckers who only think about money out. Go away from this world then, get the fuck out, go and be backward and dont blame anyone later becouse you are stupid and got scared like a pussy. Ofcourse from time to time countries (their retarded politicians) will try to stop this, and why will they want to do that? Becouse they losing power with this kind of technology. But, whatever they try to do, it is only short therm and one day they will lose, like everyone till today. Remember Galileo Galilei or others like him? Dont let them make you stupid.

Many people just do not fully understand how it works and in a panic can sell their coins thereby losing their money. Because of these newcomers, the government can prohibit crypto currency in some countries.

545  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which altcoins are going to change our lives? on: February 12, 2018, 04:12:10 AM
I'm sorry for all the ones looking for speculations, this is not the purpose of the thread. I want to hear from the community about which coins will be making a difference in our world over the next few years.

Forecasting for several years is too risky. But I'm sure that this year all the owners of the ether will get a good profit.
546  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ZCash - so many ways to fail on: February 12, 2018, 04:08:03 AM
1. ZCash at launch will have a whole host of competitors (that actually have users, infrastructure built, etc).
2. With the founders reward of 10%, having this be globally accepted and no less a replacement for Bitcoin is ridiculous.
3. Clones. This is a certainty. (If at all people even deem this coin worthy to copy).

Sure, total anonymity is preferred by some and one could say has a niche market. What's wrong with Monero here? ZCash will be a cluster fuck of epic proportions, and anyone that invests in it early on, will be looking to dump the f*** out of it at a slightly higher price. Bag holders, come grab some ZCash.
According to the road map which was published on the project website in December, 2017 the team of developers in ZCash plans a series of various innovations in 2018. In particular, it is about two important updates of network: Sapling and Overwinter.

As Zikesh it is directed to fight against the most widespread problems of the sphere of cryptocurrencies — a lack of confidentiality, this digital coin potentially has every chance of the big future. And, so it is possible to expect also growth of its price.

Besides, it is rumored that Ethereum is a partner of ZCash. From this partnership investors can expect improvement of scalability and individual control of all ecosystem of digital money already in the nearest future.

I remember I have read about it as well. For me Zcash is interested as a profitable coin to be mined. It is also a cool coin to invest into. Some guys are sure in its brilliant future: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RkkizIzl3bU

548  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How do I know a bounty program is good? on: January 28, 2018, 03:19:07 PM
To understand if the Bounty program is good you need time. Spend this time for reading the Whitepaper and checking the information about the team members. Check their accounts in socials: when they were created, etc.
549  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which ICO would you suggest for February and March? on: January 28, 2018, 01:17:15 PM
In my opinion, one of the best ICOs in early 2018 will be ArcBlock. They will implement blockchain 3.0 a platform suitable for DApps, a gap that has not yet been resolved by any solution, even Ethereum.
Blockchain is still a technology used and understood by few users, is not friendly and has high costs and poor performance. Blockchain 3.0 is on its way to solving these major problems and spreading the blockchain to the whole world. There are over 47K people in ArcBlock's Telegram Channel.
Anyway,do your own reasearch, check out its website(https://www.arcblock.io/) , team and whitepaper, watch the Ian Balina's AMA and the Suppoman review in youtube and other sources of information as well.

In my opinion, sometimes it is better not to listen to any advice, but make your own decision and pick an ICO yourself. You will spend much time for it, but it is worth doing the stuff. This information will be helpful: https://www.listico.io/
550  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does anyone know about SAFE? on: January 28, 2018, 01:00:23 PM
When digital currency meets Internet thinking.
How will the business model change? Where do technical innovation go?

The most safe and secure digital currency payment and application platform:

I suppose you are talking about SafeCoin that is sometimes called SAFE? If you follow its charts the picture that you’ll see will be very sad: https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/safecoin/. And this coin does not seem to be a good one.
551  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins that might survive in the future? on: January 28, 2018, 12:50:30 PM
Well, I can share your thoughts about Litecoin survival, but I do not think Dogecoin will last long. My bets are also DASH, Ethereum and NEO. This video will also give you an idea which alts need to be bought: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AGNL4pUXgsc
552  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How long will it take for countries to regulate Cryptocurrencys ? on: January 28, 2018, 12:42:55 PM
I am not sure these laws (about cryptocurrency regulations) will work. Crypto traders (for instance from Russia and South Korea) will find the ways to stay anonymous. Tax for trading and mining is also something very vague — how they will estimate it?
553  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is bitcoin dangerous ? on: January 28, 2018, 12:40:37 PM
I'm wondering why bitcoin was made if there are too many currencies in each country, why would anyone add or make a type of currency in the internet? For easier and faster transactions or so ?
I am trying to see from security specs, I think bitcoin can not be said dangerous. Because it gives users complete freedom to keep the bitcoin they have. The development of bitcoin so far is increasing. I think bitcoin is created to make it easier for users to do all kinds of transactions.

In a way yes. However it can be dangerous only for those people who feel they can be addicted to something. In this case BTC fever may push them selling their property and invest into crypto or do other crazy things. For thoughtful traders Bitcoin is a treasure, the method to earn.
554  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin price manipulated by Wall Street? on: January 26, 2018, 02:58:02 PM
Some analysts explain the recent decline of Bitcoin price by the Wall Street investors, who tries to enter the market massively for a discount price after the first future contracts expired January 26.

Here a quote from a trader with large followers on Telegram:

Quote
Bitcoin price prediction cobe and C.M.E contract is expiring on 26 Jan 2018 on this date after contract expiration we will see biggest Bitcoin pump of history wall street buy back of Bitcoin .Bitcoin future contract mostly got long postion holding which is mainpulated by wall street players  Before 26 Jan 2018 wall street buy altcoins and we will see another huge ATH for altcoins before 26 Jan 2018

What do you think?

Taking into account the news coming from Wall Street it is true, but only partly. The belief of people in BTC also affects its price.
555  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have you raised money on ICO? on: January 26, 2018, 02:53:25 PM
Do you an experience of investing in ICO? Was it a good experience? Have you raised anything?

I have made up my mind to quit dealing with ICOs temporary. The previous experience was not as good as I planned. No, I did not lose much, but I did not get any profit I counted on. However, I am interested in Telegram project right now.
556  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Will Change Everything on: January 26, 2018, 02:51:36 PM
Thanks to bitcoin my life has change, so i decided to teach my family and friends about bitcoin and this forum , now some of them already have a house because of bitcoin, but the sad part is they dont even say thank you on what i have teach them.

I am very much proud of what I am reading from the thread specially the change that bitcoin had brought to the life of the investors/traders. But everything means all. And when we say "all", this means that everything is included with no excuse. Well for me, bitcoin is able to change the financial stability of its investor or trader, and this results to change of how the way people live. Economically speaking, it will take a long process and time to reach that overall change.

Bitcoin has already changed the world. Look around: many people have changed their attitude towards money, thousands and thousands have found out that they were born to be traders, many improved their lives. Bitcoin changes much.
557  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What coins do you like besides Ethereum? on: January 26, 2018, 02:50:59 PM
I will choose a coin after a while. The coin is too much now. Which coin do you like? Please tell me some reasons. I will thank you very much.

The trade-off is between risk and reward. Higher cap coins are in general more likely to have steady growth, and lower cap is where you tend to find the x100 coins but also coins that fail.

So depending on your risk level, I would say NEO or Cardano as good high cap options, Walton or 0x as medium, and Aragon as lower cap.
I could give reasons why, but this can be counterproductive - you always need to rely on your own research.

Good question — besides Ethereum…LOL. So you mean we all love it? OK, you are right. I honestly think that NEO is great as well as Cardano and DASH. I hold Monero and deal with Ripple, EOS and Qtum.
558  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WAVES PLATFORM VS ETH PLATFORM on: January 26, 2018, 12:32:39 PM
I've seen that these two smart contracts are often used, and the ETH is widely used more often than WAVES. What is the difference between the two platforms?

Waves platform issues tokens, while Ethereum is the smart contracts platform. ETH has more chances to become the best cryptocurrency and maybe even beat Bitcoin in several years. I do not ыee Waves can be its rival.

Hoever, you can watch this about Waves: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H_aRNHIgXlM
559  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This can be addictive!! on: January 26, 2018, 12:28:37 PM
I'm a newbie and have been into crypto for a couple of months now.  I must say the advice from other members about not checking trades too often is very good.  One can become obsessed with it, and I think the thrill of the "win" can be quite addictive.  Similarly that depressed feeling when the world is "red" can be deflating as well.  There must be a "happy" medium, if one is to maintain a balanced life.

I find myself obsessive to crypto, and here you are right, friend. But I love this addiction as it does not let me sitting doing nothing — trading push my brains working and I stay active all the time, especially when I succeed.
560  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Thoughts on Polymath ICO??? on: January 26, 2018, 11:11:56 AM
This Canadian company promises to simplify the ICO process, and this sounds great. I am not a great fan of ICOs, but this one does not seem to me a scam. Here is some information about it:
