It's very funny to read this kind of post, when the bitcoin was around 3k :-) And if we search in older post we can find all kind of catastrophic predictions. The reality is that bitcoin is a new creature, a very unstable one, very sensible to emotions and to manipulations. If you know how to ride it, you can earn a lot of money. If you don't,... well, there will be some one that will earn YOUR money. That's simple :-) Just received reminder bitcoin dropped a lot, the price of the last week is very unstable, leading to other competing currencies continued to fall, there is no bottom line of that kind of fall, I would like to ask you tycoons on how to look at the future market?

Well, panic is usually a bad adviser, and when you take decisions under influence of strong emotions you can be pretty sure that they are bad decisions.
But I understand that in these days it's very difficult to remain cool and detached.
What helped me very much is to think about bitcoin as just some "points in a videogame", and not as real money.
(if I start to think about money losses, there is the risk tu cut my veins. :-) )

Life of a trader is a very strange one: if in the past you were forced to stop, because of limited daily program of the stock markets, now you can trade non stop. This is fantastic, but if you don't put some limits, you will live in a surreal world made by charts, japanese candles, floating prices and so on, and all what you obtain is a nervous breakdown.
Out of this, it's a fantastic life! :-)

The problem with facebook is that for lot of people it's the only source of information about the world, so if something is not on facebook it doesn't exist.
And if facebook says that something is bad, people will believe it.
Btw, it's just a temporary stop, and a step toward a more regulated market.

I admit that I was very upset about this new merit system (I was just a week far to become Member, now I have to wait ten merits. And to become full member is an illusion).
But now I see that it was the only solution: yesterday theymos wrote a very good post, explaining that if the merit system won't work, the only alternative will be to shut down the whole campaign system.
So, with all the complaining you can make, the goal was to stop spam and shitposting, and this was achieved. Stop.
Now, of course, there is a lot of space for improvement: at present the system seems to me too rigid, too favorable to old members and there are too few merits in circulation.
Theymos said he is open to any suggestion of improvement, so - instead of complain - it's better to make any effort to make the system work and - if we had ideas to improvement - to propose them.

Ti ho già risposto altrove, ma lo ribadisco: se io incentivo un comportamento, poi non mi posso lam entare se c'è chi ne abusa. La realtà è - come mi hanno spiegato membri che sono sul forum da anni - che fino a un anno fa le campagne non producevano un reddito significativo, ed erano effettivamente un di più mentre davvero discutevi di temi interessanti con il tuo singolo account. Con l'esplosione del bitcoin e delle ICO, le cifre in gioco hanno cominciato a diventare attraenti, e allora era abbastanza inevitabile che qualcuno si creasse cento conti e mettesse bassa manovalanza a scrivere post da una riga. Diciamo che una crescita del genere è sfuggiata di mano allo stesso theymos, che ha bloccato il problema in qualche maniera (come ha scritto ieri, se il sistema dei merit dimostrasse di non funzionare, l'unica alternativa sarebbe chiudere le campagne firme, che però sarebbe oggettivamente un peccato, perché come veicolo di promozione sono valide) Ammetto che all'inizio mi ero abbastanza seccato - vedi primo post - ma analizzando meglio la questione mi sono reso conto che era l'unica mossa possibile. Se si faranno un po' di aggiustamenti volti a rendere un po' meno rigido il sistema, probabilmente la cosa funzionerà. Be', non so quante persone andrebbero a lavorare se non fossero pagate... Voglio dire, se crei un sistema dove vieni pagato per scrivere centinaia di post senza senso, poi non puoi lamantarti se il sistema viene invaso dai disoccupati di tutto il mondo. Inoltre, per le ICO il fatto che un messaggio abbia o meno contenuto è irrilevante, visto che a loro interessa la signature. Resta il fatto che che gli high rank - che mostrano tutto il loro disprezzo per chi si iscrive al forum per guadagnare - hanno tutti la loro brava signature che produloro qualche migliaio di euro al mese. Ma sarà mica che non vogliono concorrenti? Mah, io mi sono infilato in questa cosa perché mi era stato detto che in un tempo ragionevole sarei salito di livello a avrei potuto cominciare a guadagnare un po' con le campagne, imparando allo stesso tempo il sistema.
Da quel che mi pare di capire, ora per i principianti è diventato impossible (e tendo a pensare che sia proprio quello che si voleva ottenere)
Personalmente ritengo il tutto una scemenza. Come ritengo una scemenza la richiesta di un certo status per partecipare ad airdrop, bounty etc. Un forum deve essere uno scambio di opinioni tra interessati. Se si inquina il forum con meccanismi di reward lo spam è inevitabile. Basta vedere forum che esistono da oltre 10 anni, senza nessuna traccia di spam, unicamente perché partecipa solo chi è realmente interessato. Per quanto mi riguarda continuerò a scrivere e a rispondere su ciò che mi interessa fregandomene di merit, demerit e via cantando. SE poi qualcuno prende la partecipazione ad un forum come secondo lavoro per guadagnare.... beh problema suo. IMHO ovviamente. theymos non vuole concorrenti!? ma leggete le stronzate che dite? inoltre Mah, io mi sono infilato in questa cosa perché mi era stato detto che in un tempo ragionevole sarei salito di livello a avrei potuto cominciare a guadagnare un po' con le campagne, imparando allo stesso tempo il sistema.

si vede palesemente, volete i rank solo per campagne firma, airdrop e via dicendo se proprio i merit non vi stanno simpatici togliamoli e togliamo anche airdrop e campagne firme, per tutti.. per me va piu che bene! possiamo farlo anche domani io vedo solo lamentele da gente che viene sul forum "per guadagnare" e non per partecipare |

Bella discussione, mi piacerebbe aver dei merit da dare, ma il "mezzo" che ho a disposizione è insufficiente. :-) (giusto per collegarmi all'altro mio post) Cmq, gli stati sono finiti da un pezzo, e vengono tenuti in piedi giusto per ragioni amministrative e per non disorientare definitivamente i cittadini. Infatti, ed è stata la mia primissima obiezione: mentre il sistema in sé è buono e permette di bloccare in qualche modo il disastro nei threads internazionali, che erano diventati completamente ingestibili, il sistema dei meriti che vanno a esaurimento va sicuramente rivisto, e Theymos si è dimostrato aperto ad ascoltare proposte in questo senso. Voglio dire, si è passati da un'esagerazione all'altra, e attualmente il sistema è chiaramente bloccato: la possibilità di ricevere merit e di crescere è davvero infima. Secondo me a breve ci saranno modifiche interessanti. Si vedrà. credo che ormai in giro stiano scarseggiando i primi Merit distribuiti. rispetto ai primi giorni dall'introduzione, ora è molto più difficile ottenere Merit  vediamo ora come pensano di gestire la cosa... io più che far girare i miei pochi, non so che fare |

Abbi pazienza, cerchiamo di non prenderci in giro: dare meriti significa permettere a qualcuno di salire di rank, ovvero di partecipare a campagne più redditizie. E questo, piaccia o no, è potere. Che poi tu mi dica che un forum non dovrebbe avere questa finalità, mi trova totalmente d'accordo, ma allora va rivisto completamente il sistema. Voglio dire, se offri da mangiare gratis a chi viene a casa tua e canta qualcosa, non ti puoi lamentare se la voce si pasrge e ti trovi la casa invasa da urlatori di tutti i generi. Fuor di metafora, se crei un sistema che premia con quattrini il fatto di scrivere stronzate, è inevitabile che il numero di stronzate scritte aumenti esponenzialmente. Il potere? Ma quale potere.. quello d dare i meriti?
State iniziando a dare i numeri.. ora spunterà qualche teoria del complotto

Il problema della retroattività è così fatto: bitcoin è teoricamente anonimo, ma nel momento in cui - in qualche modo - riescono a collegare un indirizzo a una persona fisica o giuridica che sia, hanno immediatamente tutto lo storico delle transazioni fatte con quell'indirizzo.
Anche facendo i giocolieri con gli indirizzi - cosa peraltro consigliabilissima: io uso un indirizzo diverso per ogni transazione significativa - penso che un programma di data mining ti sgami senza difficoltà.
Allora, mentre oggi puoi muovere un milione di euro con un click dal cellulare senza che nessuno possa fare molto per controllarti/tassarti, mi rimane difficile pensare che in un prossimo futuro non ci sia qualcuno che ti venga a chiedere di dare delle spiegazioni.
Io sto analizzando la storia degli scrambler, che sembrano offrire un livello sufficiente di anonimato, ma c'è un tale far west che c'è il rischio che quello che riesci a risparmare di tasse ti sparisca in altro modo.

Like it or not, cryptomarket is a real far west. There is no control or clear rules, the possibility to make big money is high, then it is not surprising that it has become a hunting space for all types of scammers.
So, in the meanwhile the situations will became more clear, it seems normal to me that governments and big structure as facebook have taken measures to protect people from dishonest and deceptive proposals.
