541  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why Neo is going all the way down? on: March 09, 2018, 05:48:53 PM
While I will not rule out correction, there is also the possibility that the recent drop in price of NEO is due to concerns of the project having some underground centralisation. One of the NEO consensus nodes happened to suffered a glitch which exposed the weakness of the nodes and indicating certaing hidden layers of it being centralised. This has raised fears in the NEO community.
I am just getting a hint of this and that would be terrible, but even in that case, it is the market, and one way or the other, even with the news, it would not still prevent it from increasing in value later on, but we all know how people respond to the news of centralization anyway, using XRP as a point of contact.

Nevertheless, I am sure correction as well as the ONT airdrop concluding added to the drop in price, but what you have said will really affect holding confidence though, so I would not dispute the fact that it may be part of it.
542  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Will crypto exchanges be banned/taxed ? on: March 09, 2018, 02:07:55 PM
Crypto exchanges will not be banned. Government especially the tax collectors are know making a proposal that they will put a tax on cryptocurrency transactions.
It will really be stupid of the governments anyway to ban something they can greatly benefit from which is what I am sure they have realized to start making steps in implementing regulation and the target being the exchanges since they are basically centralized. Unless you are making use of these exchanges, there is absolutely no way they can easily put tax on cryptocurrency to cryptocurrency transaction, except to fiat transactions, so everything balls down to the use of the exchanges.

Unfortunately in some countries, the payment of tax does not reflect much on the citizens and at the end of the day, you start asking where the whole tax has really been going to. I guess it is just the pocket of those people we placed in power. This is what happening with tax money and at the same time you do not expect them to just keep quiet on it and allow everyone to go about their daily activities evading tax and all. Because tax is the only major source for many countries.
543  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Men only. Are you daring enough to have a boob job to complete a bet? on: March 09, 2018, 10:56:50 AM
$100,000 is way too high a price? In some 3rd world countries, people sell their kidneys to organ transplant markets as low as $15,000. Vice did a sad documentary on it for their HBO series. They travelled to villages where literally almost every villager had one kidney removed as there was no work and it was the only way they could make money.

I'm too prude and boring to do something crazy like get breast implants. LOL That guy is a freak. Reading the article did anyone get the impression it might be fake? I've seen all sorts of crazy things published over the years. A decent percentage of which turned out to be false.

There were also news stories about people getting corporate logo tattoos on their foreheads for $50,000. I guess those might have been corporate tax advertising write offs? Have to think at least a percentage of these stories are publicity stunts?

The guy has real balls to take the bet! I wouldn't do it either.

About those tattoos, as a company I wouldn't pay that much just to have it on some random person. Probably someone who is a bit famous, so it is worth my money.
Which famous person will be willing to put a tattoo on their forehead for 50k? That is impossible. For such a person to have been famous, I am sure he or she must be successful at what they are doing to not be tempted with such an amount of money, so at the end, it is someone who is trying to survive and see such a mouthwatering offer that could make him or her for life would take such.

That is really weird part of the internet. That is crazy though but man, for that kind of money at that time of the year, I would have actually considered it. I am not sure if I can do now though but who knows? What men are willing to do for money though is crazy. Boob job for 100k, and to keep for just a year, I will take the money, do it and go to a different country to stay for a year in hiding so that I won't be so ashamed to face family members and friends.
544  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ever stopped or removed from casino on: March 09, 2018, 10:12:32 AM
I do not know why a proper attire is required to enter a casino. Don't tell me you came half naked. I remember I was forced to get out about something I have not done. I am not trying to show off or something, but there was a hooker who wanted me to have a sexual relationship with her and pay her. I refused. She insisted and then I told her she was ugly. She got mad and went to the security staff and told them that I tried to rape her. They got me out and told me to never come back again.
It must have been a movie scene. There are different stories and scenes with every other person who went to casinos. Like you, what if you talk with that girl and pay her. But you did a great job. As far as throwing you out of casino, I think one must not be in some dirty place where you are accompanying such people. These casinos are nothing but a hub of sins. So don’t go in them.
Did you just say hub of sin? The world generally is a hub of sin right now. It is crazy though to see a hooker trying to push herself on you even when you have said no, and that is really strange, but he really took it too far anyway for calling her ugly. Grin I can imagine the expression that must have been on the hooker's face to go report him to the bouncers and claimed he wanted to rape her. How on earth would someone rape a hooker in a casino that a lot of people are present ? The securities must have been so stupid.
545  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What can you say about bountyhive? on: March 08, 2018, 05:30:33 PM
I just yesterday found out about Bountyhive because there is someone who posts that with Bountyhive we do not need to report on thread. Finally I became interested to try 1 bounty campaign that has been available there. This is actually very convenient for those of us who do not have much time, and more fun.
I have found it some weeks back and I decided to give it a try, and I was really amazed at the way the platform was well built, in terms of usability and ease. The teams are really doing a magnificent work and for the fact that I have participated in some of the bounties and got paid within few days, make it even more appealing. For me, I would just use one simple word for the team. Awesome!

The user interface is a lot well thought about in the design and you really get to know the summary of the project, the day the ICO ends, the amount budgeted for the ICO, the number of participants and so on. Some of the good managers who have been in the bounty management game came up with it, and the fact that they were able to use their experience to build a platform for the bounty hunters to make things easy, makes a lot of sense.
546  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: MYRIADS.IO confirmed SCAM. on: March 08, 2018, 04:53:16 PM
OMG  Shocked Shocked Shocked

thanks you atleast researched on this ico and found it scam .
if they banned you just asking for clarification , then there is no second thought on this scam ..

but they forgot that anyone can expose scam anywhere - twitter / reddit / medium / and specially on bitcointalk forum .
In fact, the first thing that screams scam in any ICO is being banned once you are trying to raise some important issue. A legit ICO will give you all the details you need since they are sure of themselves, but the ones like this ?

They just would not give you that chance to expose them to the public. I wish this can be spread to their announcement page, so that investors will not fall for this. It is just unfortunate it is what the ICO space has turned to.

OP's concern is really not new these days which is why people really need to be very careful and dig properly on any of the ICO team before even trying to invest. It is a shame that the ICO market has come to this and it is even more painful that a lot of investors are still falling for it. The same thing to happen with a project called Adblurb, and it baffles me that, these guys are just bent on polluting the cryptocurrency space the more. We just need to be extremely careful and thanks for sharing this.
547  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins future on: March 08, 2018, 03:44:00 PM
Many types of coin today are born, but the popularity of every coins depends on the majority level of the people who used, and the majority of consumers also affects the price of a certain coin who are being used by many people. For example, if a certain coin introduce in the market and no one who accept and use it, that certain will become worthless, that's what happening today on the other types of coin, that nobody use.
Most coins are even still in their early phases now and some are just there trying to gain relevance. However, it all balls down on the usage of the coin and usage can only come to be when there is a product and that is what would end up driving in demand for the coin in the long run.

Lots of coins do not have that, some have been abandoned by the devs and some are just being pumped and dump by some whales every now and then who have some group to deceive. Mine is just to always find the right coins and hold them for long.
548  Economy / Speculation / Re: DID YOU THINk BITCOIN CAN REACH 55K IN THE END OF THIS YEAR on: March 08, 2018, 01:11:10 PM
I am beginning to think that McAfee is just having fun with bitcoin from creating fud on his twitter about binance to pumping up alt coins and being an obvious shill for them without doing research on them causing a dump on the markets.

With the amount of followers he has all it takes is one miscued message and any alt coin can be screwed up. Roll Eyes
Lol. So you did not know he is just a man trying to play on his followers to get some coin pumped after he has accumulated and then dump on them. Do you know why the rich keep getting richer, that is because they are very greedy too and those ones that are greedy will go to any length to deceive their followers.

You should check some times that the coins he supports are shit coins, so what does that say about him ? He is just fond of giving baseless speculations, but we cannot hold him responsible for those who fall for it, since it is a free world.
549  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC to Crash further till 1000$? on: March 08, 2018, 12:26:48 PM
I don't think it will drop that low. Bitcoin mining cost is around 4k-5k on average. If the price drop lower than that range, it'll not profit to mine anymore. Miner will start to buy bitcoin from exchange and the price will rise up again.
There are somethings that will never sound realistic and even if it eventually happens, so many of us will still be in the scene and doing our thing. In fact, that would even make a lot of sense anyway, considering that by then, all the weak hands would have left the market and the strong hands will be on ground feeding them their own vomit. Only if OP knew how he sounded with his statement, he will hide his account forever.

It's crashing real hard. Dropped 40% in a week! Maybe another 40% drop in this weekend! It's seems like it is falling down the hill. What do you think?
If you really want to know what I think about you right now, you will end up deleting this account and never come back to this forum. What is the point in what you just did, to tell people I told you so, peradventure it happens which every reasonable person know it will take only a huge blow on the crypto market to see something like this happening? If you wish you can sell everything that you have, no one cares and we are gladly going to be buying from you at this dip.
550  Economy / Speculation / Re: can bitcoin reach 25k$ on: March 08, 2018, 10:07:28 AM
i want some advise from the expert because im only basis on my prediction can anyone tell !

if there is good news from some countries that receive payments using bitcoin it is definitely bitcoin prices will be easy to reach $ 20k again even more than $ 25k needed now is good news for bitcoin to trigger a rise in bitcoin prices.
Yeah, good news will really be of great help for the market right now. Nevertheless, good news have been popping up for a while now, but it seems the market is finding it hard to respond to those news, which I am not really surprised after the level at which the market has been dumped and a lot of emotions playing now and the smart moneys trying to be very careful before they end up making wrong decisions and would rather wait for better signs before even getting into the market for long positions.
551  Economy / Economics / Re: Generating Passive Income on: March 07, 2018, 06:09:49 PM
Hey folks,

I realise that the simplest way to make a profit on crypto at the moment seems to be just buying and holding Bitcoin, but I'm curious if there are any coins or tokens designed specifically to generate ongoing passive income for holding them and if so, how they work?

Appreciate any replies,
You can earn passive income by run masternode. I suggest yoy to buy XCPO because the price for now is falling. This is  a good opportunity to buy this coin in low price. Honestly, this coin has good future because the developer are already complete their e-commerce marketplace platform that already to launch. Buy XCPO in Cryptopia
This probably is marketing for XCPO, but there is nothing that cannot be considered. I would only advise anyone who wants to take this option to do proper diligence first and not just stick with any coin for the sake of it.

Yeah, the best way to generate some good income, and not just passive is to invest in some coins in their dip state, and looking forward to them growing hugely when the FOMO rush starts, I still prefer that than any other form but you have to be very careful the coin you are holding.
552  Economy / Economics / Re: Biggest Electronics shop in Czech republic accepts now more cryptocurrencies. on: March 07, 2018, 04:30:24 PM

This can be easily shown by our biggest e-shop with electronic. They started to accept BTC as a mean of payment last year and it has easily become one of the most popular payment options, especially for PC components (mostly for more mining).

The most recent news is, that the e-shop will accept LTC and DASH next! Those are awesome news! Why? It shows, that even in the bloody times for the crypto markets, the crpyto currencies are still used even in the mainstream shops somewhere around the world.
Congratulations! This is very good news. If more countries (even small ones) did something similar, the world in general would become more crypto-friendly. If the biggest e-shop accepts payment in cryptocurrencies, it helps them to be what they're supposed to be - not means of trading, but of payment.
Yeah, if more countries are doing this, it would spring up the adoption level of cryptocurrency and would even make the development to be fast.

So far, we have seen a lot of them but very few but it is a good start. Czech republic may be a small country, but the fact remains that it would have an impact generally as more awareness is being created and if the citizens are finding ways to do well for themselves with the adoption of cryptocurrency, I am sure it would have a huge impact at large in the country itself.
553  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you still looking for best gambling site that suits your luck on: March 07, 2018, 02:31:48 PM
Now a huge gambling sites are here and now everyone know about all gambling sites very well. That is i don't think that anyone is here who have no knowledge about it. But i can't understand that gambling site give us luck? Because i have played in different gambling sites but i realize luck is on our hand.

Before when I feel that I didn't have any change on that day on that site, I'll transfer to another just to try my luck and to try their services. Till I realized that it doesn't really depends on what site, there are times that were lucky to win and mostly not . We just need to look for a casino wherein we will be comfortable to play with and to deposits our money. And I feel that what we should really need to take into consideration is the support team of the casino, if  they are easy to consult with and put updates on transaction then nothing to worry , winning will happen if its for us.
Over time, people always get to realize that it is not about the site or any attempt to play safe, it is just a matter of luck and it is either it is on your side or not. Gambling has nothing to do with the website, and I have been there to, with the hope that things may get better, but the truth is that, it is either you are losing in all of them or you are still losing in some of them. I said that because, at the end of the day, you are still losing most of the time in all of them.

All the above, no matter how you want to believe in your luck, there is just really no way at all it can always favor you every time. In fact, I have never believed in anything luck being on my side when it comes to gambling or irrespective of the site I am on, but even without the belief, I still usually end up having some little wins in a short while, but do not be deceived, by the time you count your number of losses to the winning, you will realize you are always on the losing side.
554  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How safe is Bitcoin gambling on: March 07, 2018, 02:05:14 PM
Hello friends

How safe is bit coin gambling is it worth?
If yes and than how to play and where to play?
can now make a living on this gambling?
waiting for your opinions guys.

hope all good. Wink

To tell you the fact is that gambling is not safe at all. The probability of losing is gambling is same as compare to the wining. The Luck decide your fate and you do not need any skills etc. But on the other hand, in case you win, the profit ratio is also very high. I have seen people becoming millionaire in no time  due to Win and i have seen millionaires becoming beggars due to loss in gambling
I don't think op meant it that way. It probably is on the technical safety terms. One thing is for sure though. Btc gambling is a lot safer than the conventional fiat gambling. Anonymity is a big boost to its security compared to when you have to provide personal information
Well, if you guys are referring to anonymity, then we can classify it to be safe in that aspect but if we are talking about the safety of your funds which I believe that is what the OP is referring to here without sugar coating anything, then he is bound to lose it all with that mentality. His third question was if he can make a living with bitcoin gambling? And that made me laugh.

Anyone that knows that the chances of losing is far higher than the chances of winning in gambling will not even think about the safety aspect or make them consider gambling safe when it comes to profit. Gambling is not a profit based investment and it is like trying to play against luck to see if it is there for you. So whoever is looking for something safe or to earn something good should consider getting to work and that is what I call safe.
555  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum TO $400 AGAIN on: March 06, 2018, 02:26:43 PM
I think it's hard, ETH has been in the $800 for a long time!

No big bad news, it's hard to get back to $400!
It is really a lot hard. What I feel now is trying to hover in between $800 and $1000 for a while since Ethereum has always done that a lot in the past. However, anything can still happen, it is the cryptocurrency world and we have seen a lot of surprises in the past.

If Ethereum ends up going that low, then it would mean it is giving a lot of people another chance to buy that low, but seeing that low is what I cannot imagine yet, but we can only know when we get to see it. The truth is that no one can see the future and anyone who tells you that as an affirmative statement is either high on some cheap weed. The thing is that Ethereum has had some huge drop in prices before and pretty stable ones as well.

$400 however, was a very huge support back then for Ethereum and it had some rally between $400 and $600 before the bull rally. Nevertheless, going back to $400 or not, the most important thing is buying more when it does, but I doubt if it will. I feel worst we can ever see for Ethereum should be $600.
556  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I am so stressful with trading coins, I lost 13000$ on: March 06, 2018, 01:55:29 PM
I lost 20000$, it is my mistake to invest in iFan. You know this project? it's overwhelming and they cheated all investors
I would have said, good for you, but that would really be a mean one to say for me. But I still did in a way. Yeah, Kind of. The thing is that I really do not pity people who are just so gullible. I still find it hard to believe that people with cash like this are not smart enough to know the right thing to do.

How did you now end up bumping into such amount of cash if you cannot do proper diligence before investing ? Well, I am not to judge, what is done is done, but the OP is even in a better position than you as long as he is not holding shit coins as they would grow back, but for you? I am sure you already know.
557  Economy / Speculation / Re: Weekend disaster? on: March 06, 2018, 07:48:13 AM
This has been discussed several times and every time you think there is a pattern, suddenly it starts rising before the weekend.

I think it tanks more then it rises though, so it may be worthwhile to try and profit from this.
It usually tanks for most of the cryptocurrency market. It may not be all of them, but virtually most of them usually tend to drop in value over the weekend. Some traders have always used it to their advantage and I have never missed it. Wait for Monday afternoon and you will be swimming in some good profit and you can just find other few ones that are yet to make move up and get into them. Been trading this strategy and trend for a while now.

Falling prices on weekend is not new and I really cannot say why except maybe some whales always like cashing out at weekends and coming back during the week to push the market back up.

I have always tried to pick the best prices from a market for the week by weekends and most times, this is the time I always get to see an oversold market and once the week gets in, i start seeing my sell order popping up on some of the alts. It is a trend for some time now, and I am not sure it is one that is about to end.
558  Economy / Speculation / Re: What will you do with your Bitcoin in 2018? Will it become more valuable? on: March 06, 2018, 07:04:48 AM
i already have a plan to do with bitcoin this year, i know i don't have much experience on trading so i won't spend too much time on trading but holding instead, hold until bitcoin can break the 18000$ to sell for profit, dont want to be too greedy, of course i know bitcoin will keep rising more so i can wait for another drop to buy back again.
Establishing a set price can be a mistake, many people in the last year set a price of when they wanted to sell and then bitcoin surpassed all the expectations we all had for bitcoin for that year so the best bet is to follow the trend, if bitcoin goes up a lot more then keep holding and only sell when it seems the price may crash or when your skills in trading tells you bitcoin is overbought and that it could begin to crash at any moment.
It is always a mistake, and one thing that I have always done to be safe in the long term is to follow trend and sell out when a trend is obviously changing.

A trend can never change overnight, it is a gradual process as the market will try to hit resistances, try different support and all that as it keeps going down, but there are indicators to always help with that. I believe with this highly fluctuating market, traders with knowledge have the best advantage than holders, but it requires a lot.
559  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin at USD20,000 on: March 06, 2018, 06:32:39 AM
What are the economic and political dynamics that can positively drive bitcoin price  to and above the critical price of USD20,000? Is this possible before the end of the first quarter of 2018?

We can slowly see that we are getting out of the market correction which happened due to ATHs went so fast. It is possible to hit it again I mean you never know how situation will unfold, other thing is that I do not think it will happen but it is still possible.
So far, we have switched to an uptrend and the same way the market when it switched to a downtrend tried to break so many support downwards e is the same way we are going to have this one trying to break so many resistance upward. However, like you said, we can never know how things will always turn out. We may be in a trend now and it can reverse at any time it wishes. It is just how things are most of the time.

My guess would really be mainstream adoption, having a full confirmation that even during an extremely heavy usage, the scaling issue has been solved to some extent with the segwit adoption, and the fact that big merchants are adopting it, will definitely give us the chance to see the market at that level anytime soon. No one can say if this is possible before the end of first quarter, but if I am to say from the look of things and the possibilities of how the market plays, I would say forget about the end of first quarter.
560  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will 2018 be better than 2017 for bitcoin on: March 05, 2018, 12:16:14 PM
Yes, we are expecting some huge growth in terms of community because the price will increase only when people are showing interest towards bitcoin. Meanwhile, USA SEC mentioned in media they are very positive about the Bitcoin but they want to safeguard the investors. So this most exciting news and Bitcoin price will increase in the year for sure.
Hopefully it will, but I feel there are some powerful hands in the market already who will always want to control the price from not getting out of hand. That may be a guess or assumption which is the reason I said it is my feelings. There is a lot of development going on and with the way things are so far, I won't be surprised seeing us test the previous top at least before the end of the year, but I would rather stick to that first than expecting too much.

2017 was one of the years with a huge bull run and the same way no one saw it coming in 2017 is the same way no one can assume anything that would happen now. Bitcoin would remain strong and that is all that matters and looking at the chart now with the little bit of change in trend and hoping we keep that in play, then I expect things to obviously get better in the long run. Where we would reach is beyond what anyone can know, so we just wait for time to give us that.
