541  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin for $1 Million !!! In ten years? on: November 23, 2017, 07:25:36 AM
Let us not clump bitcoin cash and bitcoin gold together with bitcoin, they have no bearing on each oher, bitcoin will hit $10k soon enough on it's own.
542  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [DOGE] Dogecoin looks ready for a little gamble on: November 23, 2017, 07:23:23 AM
Every dog will have it's day, DOGE is one of those coins that will give profit a couple of times a year but you need to be patient and just forget about it u til it happens.
543  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: About Bitcoin Bad Rumors on: November 22, 2017, 05:35:46 PM
It is something extremely new and it will make those in the financial arena feel nervous and a bit weary because it is new and looks set to really take off.

This will have a huge impact on the long standing financial institutions much like when streaming services like Netflix came about and slowly pushed Blockbuster to the bacground.
544  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How high bitcoins can go? on: November 22, 2017, 10:21:37 AM
It really is limitless, it could as high as 1 million or 10,000 it is completely unknown but as we get higher and higher only those with steel stomachs will remain as many people will be cashing out.
545  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Would any of you guys buy Bitcoin Gold or Bitcoin Cash? on: November 22, 2017, 07:33:39 AM
I think the only reason to buy bitcoin gold or cash would be to make a quick profit as holding them long term I don't think will have much value.

Top altcoins I have at the moment is TRIG and CHBT
546  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Altcoin trading on: November 22, 2017, 07:09:11 AM
$14 is not a huge amount but is enough for you to buy some cheap altcoins, if you look on https://coinmarketcap.com you will find some coins trading very cheap, DOGE is an old coin that will go up at some point but only by a small bit so you need to be lucky and find a coin at the right time.

Good luck.
547  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Am I the only one this unlucky during my entry into investments and crypto? on: November 21, 2017, 08:31:10 PM
We have all been there especially when just starting many mistakes are made and you get smarter with each one, learning to hold and not panic is something that comes with time.
548  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is an altcoin on: November 21, 2017, 06:36:56 PM
Rubbish, bitcoin is the coin and all coins after bitcoin are alts, even if there was something similar before bitcoin it didn't work and we would still see bitcoin as the first.
549  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ADEX]*new thread* - AdEx Network - Decentralized Ad Network on: November 21, 2017, 01:18:56 PM
Have been looking at this one on and off for months but think it's time I give it a go and buy in a few and see how it goes.
550  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coins that predictably swing around a value on: November 21, 2017, 08:21:03 AM
The first one that comes to mind is our good old friend DOGE, usually hangs between 0.00000015 - 0.00000035 or thereabouts but it does have the odd high above that but this is usually where it sits.
551  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 10k Bitcoin upcoming!? What are your plans for the Alts? on: November 20, 2017, 01:19:32 PM
Not cashing out your alts into bitcoin when it is on a ride like this is very hard to do, problem is if you go all in on bitcoin and then leave it too late to get back into your alts you could miss out on that one coin that you've had all that time going crazy.
552  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: Change rules in bounty programs. on: November 20, 2017, 12:54:24 PM
How do you feel about the fact that in some bounty companies change the date of delivery of reports. Change the amount of coins.
In general, at the height of the advertising company do what they want. I am amazed at this dishonest game. What is your opinion?
Its ok as long as in the first place campaign manager already announce that bounty rewards can be change if some problems may happened. But some campaign managers change the rules even the distribution of stakes is already final.
Exactly, they should make it known in the OP that they reserve the right to adjust timescales or rewards this at least makes the participants aware that there is the chance it might happen, there isn't anything worse then changes being made midway through as this destroys confidence and credibility.
553  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 300$ to put on alts on: November 20, 2017, 09:27:48 AM
Hey all ,

i have 300$ to put on alts till January or February

what alts do you suggest

been doing my homework and researching about (Decred , Waves, OmiseGo , District0x)

waves and omisego looks the most promising for me now

all your opinions are respected and also suggesting some ICOs are welcome
Those seem pretty decent, have a look at SHIFT also and see what you think.  I see people talking about an ICO if you do go down that road make sure and do plenty of research.
554  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: It’s very easy to trade Bitcoin on: November 20, 2017, 08:04:54 AM
Really does sound like you are trying to promote some kind of trading platform which if you are it would be useful to post the link so we can all see and understand what you are talking about.
555  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What altcoin will make us rich? on: November 20, 2017, 07:38:30 AM
I want to invest about 500$
any suggestions what will go very high?

Thanks
At the moment many would say bitcoin cash is going to take over but I don't believe that.  Any alcoin can make you rich if you are in early enough and present when it gets to an exchange, if it is a decent project you may have to wait a while before seeing the proffits and sometimes this can be years.

There is a lot of luck and timing involved.
556  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Differences of the 2013 - 2014 Era and Now in Altcoins on: November 20, 2017, 07:32:27 AM
Crickets?  Lol.

I wasn't expecting no reaction as the reaction.  It shows that the people in the altcoin sub these days don't care for the quality behind a project anymore.  This sub used to be a lot smarter than it is now.  What happened?
You just have to look at the amount of money piles into any old ICO now to realise that no one cares about the quality of the projects.

Most alts exist as a pump and dump, they offer nothing to the user compared to the other thousand alts that are already available.  I do think that some things are different now compared to the past. Obviously the market caps is one thing, there is a $1bill market cap coins that I have never heard of and loads of $100mill coins that I have never heard of.

Unlike 2013, there are now storage coins, anonymous coins, smart contract coins, tokens, DAG, non-mineable coins and the old school bitcoin clones, amongst others no doubt. It is still the wild west though, I wouldn't trust many of them not to run off with my money.
It has changed dramatically especially with the ICO trend it seems just easy to create a token and put out an ICO with virtually nothing to show or back the idea up.

I greatly miss the chance to rent some hash and get in early on a coin, sadly a lot of new people will be swept up by token ICOs and never experience old school altcoins.
557  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: LTC price 100 USD? on: November 19, 2017, 11:58:55 AM
I'm hoping that Litecoin will get some attention as it has been ignored recently with all the bitcoin cash and segwit situations, I think it could go up to at least a few hundred $ maybe even more.
558  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: which is better? trading crypto or trading stocks? on: November 18, 2017, 11:18:23 PM
I have never really traded stocks that much but I would imagine that it is as exciting as trading crypto, I think it is easier and you have more chance of "getting rich" with little money in crypto trading.
559  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Many Bittrex accounts were hacked on: November 18, 2017, 04:28:38 PM
We would have heard for sure if this was a massve hacking issue, there could be many factors leading to your friends issue, often there will be phishing emails sent to try and trick users into clicking and entering thie login details.

What did Bittrex have to say on this matter? did your friend contact their support?
560  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why does bitcoin have such a big value/currency on: November 18, 2017, 03:40:58 PM
You can relate this to the law of supply and demand. The price of Bitcoin is determined by the market (Buyers and Sellers). The price is high because the buyers are willing to buy at this price. The same logic applies when there are bad news and sellers are willing to sell at lower price, Bitcoin price will go down.
Supply and demand, as long as people want to buy bitcoin the price will continue to rise, I think the rest of 2017 and 2018 will be a special time for bitcoin as there is a lot of attention on it now more than ever.
