544  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Shall I buy BTC? on: June 05, 2018, 03:20:49 AM
Is buying BTC currently a good idea, or should I be going with ethereum?
Pls suggest...
As I saw the market cap https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bitcoin/ bitcoin decreased -3.89% so for me that was a good timing to buy bitcoin. It will be increased that price with in 2 to 3 weeks just believe on what you feels about bitcoin. The only thing that can be decide is you.
545  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Ethereum support large-scale decentralization applications? on: June 05, 2018, 03:13:35 AM
Currently, Bitcoin can process around three transactions every second. Processing four transactions per second will require full capacity. Ethereum is able to handle five and six means working at peak capacity. However, services like Uber do about 12 transactions per second, and Visa records thousands of transactions per second while PayPal records hundreds of transactions per second.

Will Ethereum be able to process 1 million transactions every second?  Huh Huh
That was a good one when its happen, People holder also increased. They still hold eth because of the very fast transaction. That kind of transaction are needed for this cryptocurrency world, Many crypto problems now is transactions, Once they update that ethereum system and increased the capacity of transaction is was very reliable for us.

Why invest in altcoin when you can invest in real estate, stock market?
For me and my opinion. Alt coin is not a classic investment so people attracted to new kind of investing procedures. People are always followed the flows and now this is a new and very classic safety but risking investment.

551  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All Alt Coins are a scam. on: May 30, 2018, 01:30:52 AM
Well this is what the insightful Tone Vays claims...

He claims that ETH, DASH, shit 99.5% of all the ALTS are scams and the only coin that will survive is Bitcoin.

So l guess we should all sell our Alts now!
So many alt coins can be rise at their own. Not scam, Like docademic, One of the best alt coin I've seen because its increased more than the ICO price and for me that is not scam also more potential coins. So we couldn't accused a good project without evidence.

554  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you do with the rewards you received? on: May 29, 2018, 05:05:48 AM
I am familiar with people who also participate in generosity companies. Some of them do not rush to sell received Tokines, others on the contrary, immediately after the issue of tokens the exchange is sold. My friend advised me to send them to EtherDelta. When receiving tokens, place orders for the sale of x2 - x10 (depending on the project) and just wait until they are purchased.
What do you do with the received tokens?
Etherdelta now is not a good exchanges for the ethereum blockchain token, The better is IDEX it was increased the daily volume and its nice to trade there and smooth. Hold the token for 1 month before to sell or wait to recovery of the token price. Many people panic the they saw the price falls. So be calm always and faith.
555  Economy / Reputation / Re: Phishing Link from user - elllee on: May 28, 2018, 03:18:47 PM
If you are truly a victim in this incident too, make a post on the meta section and share your story because if you are doing ban evasion at this moment.

If your account was hacked, I'm just curious why the hacker want to hack a "MEMBER" ranked account rather than hacking a higher ranked.
Hackers was tripping. He used his account to spreads phishing site and also the receiver starting to curious and open the phishing site. Because Newbie message was had a sign that we know its from newbie msg so we aware. If the message from "Member" rank people attracted to open it. So the new strategy of hackers is hacking any rank first and use the account to spread the phishing sites.
556  Economy / Reputation / Re: Phishing Link from user - elllee on: May 28, 2018, 09:49:04 AM
That's up to the admin to decide, I am sure they can check IP, etc...
The big issue here is that your password hasn't been changed, so that's a big RED-flag for me.
I thought he have been red flag is better. but the banned account and permanent is so very unfair. He didn't given him a chance to explain the situations what happen to his account why he spread phishing site.
557  Economy / Reputation / Re: Phishing Link from user - elllee on: May 28, 2018, 06:55:42 AM
What happened::
elllee messaged me with a phishing hyperlink concealed as a legitimate url.
I didn't notice the hyperlink at first, so I clicked on it and I got brought to a Bitcointalk login page that that asked me to log in.
Well, I didn't fell for this primitive attempt to steal my password.

Glimpsed through the seclog, nothing that points to elllee's account being compromised recently.
Already reported the PM to admins, not sure if appropriate action will be taken.
Someone should paint this Phisher account RED before someone else fall for his tricks.

I guess the better way you do is asked him first if they really did that thing. Because my friend also experienced that happen. He didn't tried to pm the other person but he also report on admin as spamming phising site. But the really reason why you've recieved that messagr because they account hacked by also phising site and used to spread phising site. So You and him is the victim. Release him from the admin, please request. This is not right to report him Immediately.
558  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Opportunity to sell for bitcoin on: May 23, 2018, 06:47:10 AM
I was wondering, if you had an opportunity to sell your stuff alike cars, pc, homethings and etc., would you sell it for bitcoin (or maybe other altcoin)? The main question is to see, are you ready trade stuff for cryptocurrencies and how do you imagine it?
If depends on what is on my hand(wallet) now. If I need money today of course I need to sell my cryptocurrency. Because our needed most important than bitcoin/cryptocurrency. Once you're a dad you need a make good decision once the crisis was came if our day. Sometime that timing will happen. So the lesson is you need to make a perfect decision about selling or buying/investment.
559  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People are joking about Bitcoin on: May 23, 2018, 06:44:12 AM
In recent times, some new ICO companies have been kidding about Bitcoin on Twitter, Facebook for their ICO promotion. I think this promotion way is very negative for Bitcoin. They showed that Bitcoin will be destroyed and their token will become number one. They have presented it in such a way that the price of Bitcoin will not rise anymore. I think this type of promotion is  very negative in the market.
That will not affects bitcoin for me, Some of ICO need to spreads some bad comment about bitcoin to be being fame, That is a bad idea. I thought that ideas from their adviser. Their way to promote their ico was not pair to everyone. That is a kind of a dirty game, Because if you're pair fighter you do not need to waste your time to make or to take advantages using bitcoin name.
560  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Exchange or Wallet? on: May 22, 2018, 03:16:33 AM
I have a question.

What is better? To keep your coins on some Exchange site or to open wallets for each coin?

I would like to hear some advice.  What are pros & cons of each option?

Thanks
Obviously if you're a trader the better to keep coins is on exchange because you cannot keep that on wallet if you trading that with in only few months or weeks, But if you want to keep your coin for many year the better is your own wallet that you can controlled easily. Just make observation from your mates on trading. They cannot keeping their coins on the own wallets.
