541  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Did Allied troops rape 285,000 German women in WWII? on: March 30, 2015, 04:51:22 AM
In war rape happens, it is an unpleasant truth that no one wants to see applied to "Their side" but we would be stupid & naive to think allied soldiers never did this. Of course they did. What I am puzzled about & what I think destroys the impact of this is putting such a precise number on it is always going have people crying falsehood. Why not just say "Thousands" as there's no way we can ever really know how many.
542  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Congresswoman claims climate change will turn women into prostitutes on: March 30, 2015, 04:47:24 AM
Another example of why, according to Gallup, climate change is the least important issue. Thinking people can see the hyperbole for what it is – desperation to keep the hoax alive.
543  Other / Politics & Society / Re: France plane crash: No survivors expected [Condolences to the families] on: March 30, 2015, 04:45:02 AM
Lessons need to learnt from this horrific tragedy. There should be 3 people in the cockpit (all pilots) if one leaves the cockpit there is another in place at all times. Depression can happen to anyone at anytime- some recover quicker and for others it take years - more tests to be done more regularly for pilots who have already suffer from depression. This may or may not stop this from happening again but safeguards need to be in place. Focus need to be on safety than profits too.
544  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How would you convince a newbie to use BTC? on: March 30, 2015, 04:37:50 AM
I just read this:
http://www.finance-guy.net/finblog/what-is-bitcoin

It got me thinking that most people I talk to, don't understand enough about tech, or cryptography, to fully appreciate BTC.

How would you explain it to them on a simple level so that they might become believers.

A simple hook might help generate larger scale adoption by the masses.

It's hard to explain it to newbies.
I never talk about bitcoin to my friends or people around me, as the price of bitcoin is really disappointed.

548  Economy / Economics / Re: Supply vs price : BITCOIN on: March 29, 2015, 10:02:45 AM
We know that supply and price are reciprocal. If the supply of the bitcoin in the circulation of bitcoin in the world is high.. the price or the value of the BTC is become low (VICE VERSA). so that i conclude that if we destroy. The BTC will be worthful and they don't spend it in a useless things.
Dotakels
destroy what?
Who will destroy his bitcoin? That's should be very stupid.
I remember  there is a altcoin names 66 coin was created in the last year, the totally supply is 66 coins, I guess it is dead already.
Any way crypcurrence can be splitting  at any accuracy, so the supply is unlimited.
549  Economy / Economics / Re: What if US Dollar Crashes? on: March 29, 2015, 09:58:20 AM
I was thinking about this, what if the US Dollar crashes like speculated by many renowned economists around the world?
What will be it's affects on the beloved currency, BTC?
It's unlikely too happen in our age.
The US government  will not allow this happened.  if the US Dollar crashes it means the US collapse.
550  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: storing wallet backup in the cloud? on: March 29, 2015, 09:55:46 AM
what do you think of storing your wallet backup in the cloud? like a storage service. like google drive / drop box / iCloud drive / etc...?

of course there is the USB stick and paper option too...

also how do you load a backup into bitcoin-qt?
The encrypted password should be very strong if you want to save your wallet in the cloud drive.
But a strong password is very easy to be forgotten.
Why don't you use blochchian.info wallet, I think it save than cloud backup wallet.
551  Economy / Services / Re: FortuneJack.com NEW Campaign – Earn 0.12 BTC!!! Weekly Payments. on: March 27, 2015, 02:09:38 AM
Why people still stay in this campaign?
Coinroyal provide 0.04BTC per work only require minimum 20 posts per work.
And Dadaice also provide high rate.
This campaign has no competition.

Because those high paying campaigns are only temporarily and they last usually for a week or two. And then its a hassle switching back and forth. Been with Fortunejack for almost 3 months steady.

This is not true, Coinroyal has stared at the beginning of February, it last almost two month, and it seems will continue in the follow month, and Dadaice also last about 1 month.
How can you say it last for a week or two?

555  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Decentralized Army on: March 25, 2015, 10:50:06 AM
decentralized army? Who will control such arm and what the purpose of this army?
I don't think there will have any decentralized army. Army should serve some country or people.
556  Other / Politics & Society / Re: N.Korea claims to use nukes at any time on: March 24, 2015, 06:24:01 AM
Can their missiles reach that far? I think that if war starts and they use nuclear weapons, they will shoot them at south Korea.
They can't. There are only two country has the ability to reach US.
Russia and China.
The nuclear bomb of North Korea only can reach China and south Korea.
557  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: i doned it i buried my private keys in concrete underground no one will know on: March 24, 2015, 06:16:23 AM

558  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to buy from the UK anonymously on: March 24, 2015, 06:14:25 AM
You don't need to buy bitcoin with  anonymous.
You can buy bitcoin at any exchange as you can with you real identity, After that, you should mix your coin, then no one know where is your coin.
559  Economy / Economics / Re: A Question As Old As Bitcoin on: March 24, 2015, 06:09:38 AM
As people always say "Gold has been consistent for thousands of years."
This situation may will be changed after the invent of bitcoin.
This is the age of internet, people need some thing more convenient to save and split thing to bear worth.
Bitcoin it is, not the gold. Gold is out of date.
560  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Big Bank's Analyst Worries That Iran Deal Could Depress Weapons Sales on: March 23, 2015, 09:57:34 AM
All of this posturing over Iran is about weapons contractors losing contracts. Of course...its disgusting.
The general public doesn't remember how the US set up a puppet regime with the Shah of Iran, who stole and spent so lavishly that the Iranians deposed him. The US has had their hands in Iranian oil for decades. The revolution was thought to bring back Iran to Iranians, but no one knew the Khoemeni would be so right wing and repressive. Now the Republicans are getting in on the act, messing with Iran when Obama is working on a peace deal. I get it now. Peace deal...no weapons sales. This is sickening.
