I think we should hope to see magic from Guardiola in Manchester City because, with the current situation they have in Manchester City, they are not in the good form at all to have a high chance for the Champions League compared to the other teams.
However, Manchester City can decide to put in more energy and try improving the team during the winter.

The Benzema we saw in the Saudi League was far from the good situation we saw from him in Real Madrid, Benzema in Real Madrid was one of the most effective players in this team and he had perfect performances, even after he left Real Madrid had a problem to find an alternative player to fill his place into tam but just after he joined the Saudi team, he was mostly injured and as you said he was far from his good form we saw before from him.

Considering the performance of all the teams in the Italian Serie A this season, I don't think there's any one who would want to doubt the fact that Inter Milan are the strongest team in the league and the favorites to the scudetto this season but I also think that it'll not be an easy ride for them because Juventus who have also been consistent this season is closely in contention for the title.

Unlike Inter Milan, Juventus are not playing in Europe this season and are more focused on the league than any other competition. They had a poor campaign last season and are trying to make up for their fans. It'll be a close competition between the two top clubs in the Italian Serie A table

I believe they overestimated the long term effect those investments would inspire. There was a lot of enthusiasm and also excitement and curiosity around the world. People wanted to see how Ronaldo is doing in the Saudi Professional League and then several players decided to go there. Players with a lot of following from the fans on social media and other channels. They thought that younger talents would decide to go there and they could start a small revolution in the world of soccer, but you can now easily see that the excitement is vanishing every single day. I am not even checking the results anymore if I don't have to and I am sure that other people don't care as much anymore as they did when the big news was out that Ronaldo would go there.

This would be a huge surprise if Pep Guardiola decided to extend his contract one again as he already broke his golden rule once. He said many years ago that he will never stay with the same club for more than three years, but obviously he knows that he found what he was looking for at Manchester City. Lots of money to be made, good investment strategies in quantity and quality for the squad and I think he is not only the coach, but he has lots of responsibilities and rights in the club. It is exactly the way he wants it. I am not sure if he will extend his contract once again, but the question then would be where he could go next without making a step back in his career.

What Xabi Alonso and his team have been doing in the Bundesliga is very extraordinary and unimaginable. He has beaten multiple records in the Bundesliga by being unbeaten for so long. But I would agree with @Iranus. Bayern Munich are still the favorites to win this title. There will be a time when Bayer Leverkusen will drop points Bayern Munich will get some points to get ahead of them. But I think the match that will have the most impact on this championship title race is the match between Bayern Munich and Bayer Leverkusen. Whoever wins this match will get a good advantage, even if it is 1 point. I mean 1 point is a lot considering how the current race is going. Bayern Munich knows how to gain back their lead I believe.

Arsenal has had a very poor performance in the Premier League lately, the poor form has made Liverpool be at the top of the Premier League table. If Arsenal fails to sign a striker who will help them win matches, Arsenal might not qualify for the Champions League because they lack who will score goals for them.

Lots of people talk about them as title contenders but I don’t see it. It would be an incredible achievement for them to get CL football for next season so that should be their target.

I know a lot of Aston Villa fans in RL so I hope they get top 4, I think they can do it.

I'm even more surprised that De Bruyne is so far in the top for the golden ball, his play is superb and very thoughtful, more than once he's been recognised as player of the match too. The most important thing is that he doesn't get injured in any match, so that he can be fit for the Champions League matches. He has some kind of curse on the finals, he has already been injured twice in the finals.

He really has the best stat so far this season as a coach and the way he has transformed the team really amazes me, he has the best tactics and  playing style in the league, the way they play makes them stand out among other teams. I just hope he doesn’t drop form and so he doesn’t waste the money to standout as a team. We have seen many coaches come this way, started this way but couldn’t end the year this way. They do come this way and couldn’t win this year i just hope they they can keep up the performance and probably win more matches, i just hope everything goes well.

Of course, Barcelona's performance this season is different compared to last season, but they are a team that can still compete for the title until the end of the season. Moreover, being 7 points behind Real Madrid doesn't mean Barcelona has failed this season, but in my opinion they still have a chance to improve it rather than giving up on all their imperfections.

Xavi does not fully deserve the blame for his team's current performance. A tremendous surprise from Juventus, despite the fact that no one expected Juventus to overwhelm Sporting Salernitana by 6 goals. I didn't think they'd still beat Juventus after their performance in the first half, when they worked hard to score their first goal with even more confidence. I expected them to win the game, but they embarrassed the fans by giving Juventus chances and winning them, and they did not even lead by two goals, which is really disappointed

I have read a few articles which are quite interesting as they are discussing whether Xabi Alonso will become the next Pep Guardiola. I am not a friend of these person to person comparisons because at the end of the day nobody can become somebody else. I get the idea why they want to compare the two coaches, but it doesn't make that much sense as I think Alonso is a different personality to begin with. They are not the same. I am not sure how tactical Alonso is and whether he goes into such a deep detail as Guardiola does.

But one thing is for sure, if Alonso can win the Bundesliga and then adds the Europa League title to his collection as a coach at such a young age, that would by any means be a crazy head start for the Spaniard. Since I like him, I wish him the best for this ambitious goal.

I didn't expect the Al Hilal and Al Nassr rivalry to have such a difference in points. It's not just Al Nassr who has to play consistently and win. it would require a reduction in consistency from Al Hilal which I don't think could happen. It's possible that Al Nassr will chase the points, but that might just narrow the gap. That's because Al Hilal's performance is quite stable and it will be very difficult for Al Nassr to thwart Al Hilal's winning plans.

After 90 minutes, Gundogan did not score from the penalty opportunity. And Barcelona won the match 2-1.

Watching the game yesterday i don't think it's a performance with what we have seen in the league when PSG plays against other teams, the game was a final match and Toulouse played like a team that came prepared despite losing to the old ladies but they had a good performance and PSG worked so hard before getting rhe lead and secuing the victory at last. For PSG, they may not look very strong but their ability to keep topping the league and winning trophies even when they are not playing very well makes them bigger and better than other teams they are league leaders and they have a trophy at hand already.
