541  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can i trust new IEO on the new exchange? on: October 22, 2019, 03:23:05 PM
can anyone invest in new IEO listing in new exchange or it will be risk, i think if the price is low, it have the chance to increase, o what is the experts opinion?

Why will you wanna invest in an IEO just because the price of the token or coin is low?  Please don't ever make that mistake in investing in an IEO project just because you think the price is low and you can make a huge profit out of that. First and foremost, you should invest in the aims and visions of projects and their feasible into the crypto space rather than the price and the exchange platform hosting the IEO. You might end up loosing all your investment capital...
542  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Stable Coins are a Threat for Bitcoin? on: October 22, 2019, 02:07:13 PM
Let's discuss the potential effects of stable coins which are bound to usd or eur. We usually use them to avoid the volatility or short bitcoin in a way. There are many stable coins in the last year. By writing threat, I didn't mean issues like tether's issue. I mean, they are not coins, they are just usd and eur.

First and foremost, stable coins are no threat to Bitcoin. Why will you ever think Stable coins are a threat to Bitcoin? People in the crypto space hardly use stable coins for their transactions online. Stable coins are basically used as a trading coin and do not have the qualities that can threating the existence of Bitcoin. You need to provide us with enough reasons why you think stable coins have good potential than Bitcoin.  People will rather prefer to invest in crypto coins which are volatile than stable coins.
543  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: (Yes or NO) The 2020s belong to DEXs on: October 22, 2019, 08:19:22 AM
Decentralized exchanges are gaining huge attention in the cryptosphere but i don't think it would take over Centralized exchanges really quick. Also, most DEXs are quite slower than CEXs hence crypto users would still prefer to use centralized exchanges over decentralized ones. So yeah, it's a big no for me at least not within the next 5 years. CEXs would still rule the cryptospace.
544  Economy / Economics / Re: What are the odds that the government/banks will truly create their own coin? on: October 22, 2019, 12:29:25 AM
The odds are quite high in the sense that they cannot dispute the use case of cryptocurrencies and the blockchain technology. However, since they cannot control the existing ones i bet they would create their own coin in order to have full control over it.
545  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in football on: October 21, 2019, 08:18:31 PM
That's great to hear, actually i came across a similar post where some European teams have agreed to use bitcoins in some of their football purchases. I know this would encourage other clubs as well to adopt the use of bitcoin as one of their payment methods. The sources  of these are below:

1. https://www.qbittimes.com/cryptocurrency-finding-its-way-through-european-football/
2. https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2018/08/20/premier-league-clubs-trial-cryptocurrency-experts-predict-bitcoins/
546  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: You own a decent amount of Bitcoin, How would you increase it on: October 21, 2019, 01:14:12 PM

I read about many so called Bitcoin Banks, Projects,  who promise you 3% interest annually, simply don't believe in holding your bitcoins in one place for such a long time.

So how would you increase your bitcoins?
I hate these investements platform because they make so much money out of all the deposits but yet give out a few Sad. Hence i am the day trader always taking advantage of the volatility of bitcoins to increase my gains. Once i see an imminent downfall coming i switch to USDT and accumulate more. This is the best and safest way to increase your gains if you ask me but it's time consuming.
547  Economy / Economics / Re: Any ideas of what we lack in crypto world? on: October 21, 2019, 07:52:05 AM
It's quite funny when questions like these come up and almost everybody have an idea of the problem yet we are all not in our individual ways helping in making the agenda of global adoption of cryptocurrencies a reality. In addition to what has been discussed here, i believe we need to really have some recognized marketplaces who are willing to accept cryptocurrencies as payments for goods.

The most important part of it all, we crypto enthusiasts willing to trade our cryptocurrencies for such services. if we don't really spend it to make the world see it how successful it's being the interest to gain knowledge about it will still be dead.
They need to see its essence then grow an interest learning about it.
548  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin for the World and Community on: October 21, 2019, 01:59:21 AM
What do you guys think about bitcoin and the environment can we help the environment with bitcoin? Can we help poor people using bitcoin? Can we help poor communities using bitcoin.?
I don't know what relation one can draw between bitcoin and poor people and how it can help them. if you mean to say countries with huge corruption rates then i would agree with you but bitcoin can help the poor people because it's quite expensive for them to buy at the moment and i don't think Satoshi would ever have an airdrop from his wallet lol.
549  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ukraine wants to legalize crypto (again) on: October 20, 2019, 09:39:16 PM
This is how it's all going to happen with the so strong "sitting on the offence" countries when it comes to legalizing cryptocurrencies. With time and in the near future, i know so many countries are going to go back on their decision and adopt the use of cryptocurrencies not necessarily Bitcoin.
550  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Day Trading or Long-term Hodl? on: October 19, 2019, 11:55:11 PM
Quote
Day Trading or Long-term Hodl?

It all goes down to how well you know and understand the entire nature of the crypto market.  Your level of understanding will help you choose whether you trade daily without the funds you have or go in for a long term hodl. With knowledge and understanding, you will know what coin to investment at a particular moment in time. This will also help you develop strategic plans to maximize your profit margin within the period of your investment.
551  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: which one is better for you guys ? on: October 19, 2019, 11:47:34 PM
Doing IEO on the top exchange but public response is flat, or IEO on the exchange is not credible or shit exchange but the public is enthusiastic about welcoming it ?

What you should understand about investing into new crypto project is that, where it is running an IEO on a top exchange or on a normal or shitty exchange platform, your focus as an investor should be how realistic and feasible this project is in terms of its set aims and vision. A project might run its IEO on a top exchange platform, but its ideology may not be reasonable and unrealistic. Invest in the idea rather than how the public is relating to it...
552  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does Coin swap stands a chance of solving Bitcoin's problems? on: October 19, 2019, 11:38:22 PM
1. Slow transaction rate
2. High consumption of electricity in running the network etc
Just to mention but a few are some of the problems of bitcoin which almost everybody in here knows about. I have seen several blockchain network do a coin swap as a way to improve upon the security, transaction and other features of its network. Solutions using lightning network would still increase the cost of transaction in one way or another. I have been thinking about this for a while, would the crypto community support the idea of a coin swap for bitcoin even if it was spearheaded by Satoshi Nakamoto? All that needs to be done is for him to sign a transaction with the address containing the rewards from the genesis block whiles mining bitcoin. I know it's a big pill to swallow but let's look at this possibility, hopefully the "anonymous being" might spot on this thread and come up with another great idea. All he needs is the support of the cryptosphere just like any other blockchain startup.

Fisrt and foremost, how will coin swap solve the problems you claim bitcoin is having ? What you should understand is that, the nature of Bitcoin's blockchain network and its algorithm are unique a way. If you understand how the bitcoin algorithm works, you will understand why this is happening on the bitcoin blockchain network regarding slow transaction...
553  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin May Extinct on: October 19, 2019, 11:25:52 PM
Gents, Am I the only one thinks that bitcoin can be erased in the same way it is created? Dont you think any attack can kill it?

https://hackernoon.com/bitcoins-biggest-hack-in-history-184-4-ded46310d4ef

If this happened, anything can.
What will happen after satoshi dies?
What will happen when bitcoin stands alone.
What will happen if it is banned globally?
What if goverments start working on killing bitcoin?
Dont you think goverments can work on it to kill it?

Btc is not like gold. You cant make the gold disappear suddenly as it is possible for btc. I am a fan of btc but I am also scared. It should be protected but who will do it? Exchanges? The top btc holder?

These reasons of you are no good enough to think that Bitcoin may go extinct. Extinction only occurs when there is no significant adoption of that particular thing to its surrounding. With Bitcoin, it has received huge adoption on the darkweb which we all know contains A lot than the normal internet. Apart from the darkweb, a lot of people in the financial space are now investing in Bitcoin and some countries recognize bitcoin as the future of money.  Bitcoin could have been extinct two years after it was launched. You basically don't know what you are saying.
554  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will "satoshi" ever login again? on: October 19, 2019, 10:56:32 PM
First and foremost, why will satoshi ever think of login again onto this forum? Bitcoin is widely known and used in the crypto space. This means that, the job of  satoshi advertizing bitcoin on this forum is done and not needed. Even if Satoshi is gonna login onto this forum, he is not going to use his old account whiles he knows people are eager to know his identity...
555  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do Investors always turn to reduce or deny bounty hunters their payments on: October 19, 2019, 07:54:36 PM
Some Project owners together with some Bounty managers promise Hunters certain percentage of total tokens to be created.
These promised tokens inturn manipulates hunters to engage in these bounties expecting to be paid.
One main phrase that gets to favor this bounty managers and project owners is "bounty manager and project owners have the rigjt to male changes to the bounty tool at any point in time"
Should the above statement be allowed to continue?

There is this assumption that bounty hunters are the cause of the dumping of tokens or cryptocurrencies. When managers realize that the token or coin is having a good market value, they get scared that bounty hunters might go and dump it when they share their reward to them.  That is the only reason I think causes the reduction and deny bounty hunters their payments
556  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How can people use facebook libra coin? on: October 19, 2019, 06:31:38 PM
This is the link to their whitepaper https://libra.org/en-US/white-paper/ . You will find all the answers to your questions in their whitepaper.
557  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cheaters . who caused the cryptocurrency to go down on: October 19, 2019, 05:26:26 PM
What do you think about the project that spent a lot of money to advertise but was taken advantage of by cheater, I saw a person who created a lot of accounts to cheat and eat over 5000 $, there are really a lot of very good projects. but it is these fraudsters that cause those projects to die. I think there needs to be a company specializing in combating fraudsters. Cryptocurrency can grow

First and foremost, why will you think that cheaters are the cause of the down fall of cryptocurrency?  Cheaters are not the reason why some cryptocurrency go down. Personally I see cheaters as one person trying to the do the work of two or three people.  What really caused cryptocurrency to go down are;
1.improper planning of its project
2. irrelevant of the crypto coin to the crypto ecosystem and market
3. greedy project managers
4. low market volume
558  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: No Capacity to Kill Bitcoin! on: October 19, 2019, 05:11:26 PM
Of course, the bitcoin is quite popular around the world these days because it's an extraordinary invention.

I don't think I will agree with you on this. Bitcoin is not that popular around the world. In my country for instance, people who know about Bitcoin here are those into computer programming or are studying computer science or engineering. When you ask about ten people on the street what bitcoin is, only one person out of the ten will have some idea of what bitcoin is. This tells you that bitcoin is not that popular around the world.
559  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will Be 1M$ if all countries Ban it on: October 19, 2019, 04:59:59 PM
There is  no way this will ever happen. Once blockchain technology plays an important role in setting up a peer to peer connection and also in the aspect of data collection (data ledger), there is no possible way that all countries will ban it. Even if it gets banned, demand rate is like drop drastically since majority investors will quickly sell their bitcoins for fiats just to be safe. Moreover, the market value of bitcoin is likely to drop since a lot of people will be in the rush to sell their bitcoin. This will cause an increase in the market supply with a low demand affecting the market price..
560  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Early investors and adopters backing out or losing their hope is a warning sign. on: October 19, 2019, 04:44:22 PM
so the summary of your wall of text is that you saw a couple of tweets from one person on twitter (who had a business that failed 7 years ago) who was saying he basically has no bitcoin but is bag holding a lot of the two most centralized altcoins and now you think "early adopters" are backing out?!!! how did you come up with that conclusion exactly Shocked
Ummm, yeah, no biggie Bitcoin IS OBVIOUSLY dead if a few posters who have waited a few months have lost out,. In the future they may make some shitcoins but who knows.

How can you say or think Bitcoin is dead when its market cap is $144,632,082,940 and has a market volume in 24hrs to be $13,836,910,508. In the world of investment, it either you make profit or you lose your investment capital. If an investor is backing out because he lost his investment funds whiles investing in Bitcoin doesn't mean Bitcoin is dead or dying.  And who said early investors are backing out of Bitcoin? These people are the whales in the bitcoin market.
