542  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin price will be deflated!!! by block halving!!!!! on: September 29, 2015, 12:03:06 PM
if we take as an example gold or diamonds, are their price deflates when less gold or diamonds reach the market? NO

why will it happen with bitcoin then? we can see this every time that happens with an alt coin, take as example what happened with LTC few time ago. IMHO i don't think that price will be deflated quite the opposite, bitcoin price will grow and will bring to miners what they need to continue mining, a high price for bitcoin.

544  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Is it possible to run an Antminer S3 and Desktop PC on the same PSU on: September 29, 2015, 11:40:36 AM
Do people think that this is a viable option?
I should probably leave more breathing room but I'm more concerned about any issues that may arise from mixing the consistently high load of the miner with the sporadic load from the PC.

is posible? i think that yes this is posible, you can have more info related in this thread about it here -> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=771979.0 (undervolt antminer s3)

I will recommend it? NO, dont know how it will affect to your s3 on that thread seems like they did it, but your PSU will suffer a lot working at 100% everytime and as you said is your desktop PC.
545  Economy / Speculation / Re: bullish bitcoin article on: September 29, 2015, 11:30:56 AM
http://bitcoinist.net/bitcoin-question-buy-now-cry-later/

Why bitcoin will succeed! Buy or cry guys! hodl for life.

IMHO i think that everybody into the bitcoin world is thinking on a similar scenario for bitcoin, i mean that everything is perfect and will work like a charm in the near future.

That is enough for each person in the world to own .002 bitcoins. That is it.

lets build a new rich list for the new world Wink

Nice read. It also make's me think that I should also spread the word. Most of the time I get shy talking about the potential of bitcoin with my friends.

don't be shy with your friends, talk about football all along is so bored Wink
546  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin industry sectors on: September 29, 2015, 11:21:09 AM
It's all about the mining man , If the mining is gone then the supply/trust is gone, and if those are gone then Bitcoin is gone .
Take for example the next halving block reward for example , In July 2016 when the halving happens if Miners see that they make no profit anymore with the 12.5 BTC per block then they will shutdown their miners for good and we are screwed .

well yes i agree with you that is mostly all about miners and everything related to them, you know, hardware providers etc etc, btw about the halving don't forget that the price of bitcoin can go high too, so even if block rewards going down to 12.5, maybe in that scenario, mining bitcoin can continue being profitable, who know, everything can happen.

For you which is the most important industry sector? why? Is this relevant for keep the growing of the industry?

minning-minning Wink

549  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: How much can you mine at home? on: September 28, 2015, 06:23:06 PM
What's your experience with this?

mining at home in those days is near impossible if you dont want to ruin yourself, most of the countries have an expensive power bill, unless you have cheap or free ( the dream of mostly of the bitcoiners ) electricity, you can't mine at your home because is not profitable.

550  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What would you do if it became reversible like paypal? on: September 28, 2015, 06:19:52 PM
it will never happen, bitcoin became reversible like paypal? never!, community will never allow it or simply will create a new currency... i really think that be irreversible is one of the best characteristics that loves the bitcoin community, so as i say, community will never allow that.
551  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin properties, which is the best? on: September 28, 2015, 06:12:06 PM
pseudo-anon result from the fat that bitcoin its decentralized, so decentralization is more important, and it is what make bitcoin so different, if it was centralized, all the other property would have much less of an impact in the importance

agree with that, also IMHO what is real needed for the bitcoin world is a truly decentralized exchange to for "complete the circle" Wink

about the list, i think that:

  • Decentralised
  • Irrevocable once sent
  • Digital
  • Highly Divisible

are the most important thing, in that order.
552  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have you used Bitcoin as Real money to buy Real/physical goods? on: September 28, 2015, 06:06:27 PM
no, i didn't buy real physical goods yet, from my point of view bitcoin is undervalued so i think the best thing you can do is to hold them at the moment, at least for now.

also i don't know why but buying physical things now with bitcoins is a little bit expensive or at least that's my feel, i think that someone are trying to take advantage of the moment Wink
553  Economy / Economics / Re: What do you think about what Satoshi said ? on: September 28, 2015, 12:23:41 PM
that with other 4 halving we will have the verdict about the future of bitcoin, because mining supply would not affect anymore the price since the reward will be very tiny

he said that quote in 2010 btw, so he was aiming at 2030 which is two years after the 5° halving

exactly, i think that this is the key, the halving, IMHO i think the 2016 is a "pointbreak" that will bring us lot of info about what could happend in the next years.

Dont forget that the world economy is on the precipice and this will match with the 2016 halving, i really think that what will happen than will give us some info about the near future of bitcoin.
554  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What's the hardest thing to understand about Bitcoin for you? on: September 28, 2015, 12:13:39 PM
Getting started in the world of Bitcoin can be a little confusing.
I'd like to know what is the concept that confuses you the most and why.

the conjunt in general, i mean what bitcoin is in general, when you can understand that is a trully and real economic system pretty fair, when you see that this can work is like, omg this is awesome!

btw at least that was my case, the mining activity or the hash fuction was the most hard things to understand in this system, and i still learning... Tongue
555  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which country has the highest percentage of full nodes? on: September 28, 2015, 11:58:44 AM
Is there any website we can check this? How important is the decentralization of full nodes compared to the decentralization of miners?

America by far.

https://getaddr.bitnodes.io

36% of them are located in the US.

This website has a pretty good overview.

yep the website has a pretty good overview, im not surprised to see USA and mostly north europe having the most % of nodes, but why china is not one of them? i mean one of the first 5 countries with the high % of nodes, is a little bit strange for me.

btw by looking at that web i start to think that we need more nodes scattered around the world, but is not a bad start Wink
556  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XMG] Coin Magi | CPU mining | PoS-II | PoM | Unique BLK reward | [MagiPay] on: September 27, 2015, 05:43:45 PM
Block reward is now amazingly high. Start mining PoW!
Yes, I agree, its been a nice couple of days of Magi mining =) I find the best time for mining is the same day as a windows update

haha i know how you feel, thats why MAGI algo is so awesome, not only try to be more fair with all of us, is really good when block reward is high, you feel that you cant stop mining it, is like something addictive LOL.

hell i start to think that MAGI is the new generation of drugs for 2016 xD
557  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: September 27, 2015, 05:39:13 PM
Inter today have chance to strech in serie a, i don't think can lose, mancini play a good defense game (like Mourinho with Inter) and generally win for 1-0

well yes in the last year inter is not bad at defense, but you can never know what will happen with fiorentina, fiorentina has won the last two match and now they have an important match with inter, mmm my bet for a draw 1-1 or 0-0
558  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which is your favorite altcoin? on: September 27, 2015, 05:28:45 PM
Tell me why

GoldCoin (GLD) - because I'm involved - and everything that I get involved in becomes a tremendous success.

i think that the main question about it can be resolved by that comment, just the coin on with you are involved, why? so simply because you want success, so as i say, "Which is your favorite altcoin?": the one that you are using Tongue
559  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2015-09-27] AFR: Bitcoin criminals DD4BC target financial markets... on: September 27, 2015, 05:05:49 PM
It is nothing new, nothing unusual and pretty normal if you ask me. Cybercrime is with us since the dawn of internet.

yep and they put all those news to try to "show" to people how bad is the bitcoin and try to relate it always, the funny part about it is that it, will never work Wink

is awesome how many news related to this can be read in the last months... maybe that's a good news for the bitcoin world at all Wink
560  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: TO all miners and bitcoin holders would you? on: September 27, 2015, 05:01:13 PM
Independent on the Bitcoin price I'd never invest in mining equipment. I'd rather buy Bitcoin directly than mining.

exactly this, at the moment thats the best movement that anybody can do, well only if you have free electricity and can maintain the power needed for miners for free, but thats not the case of most of the people so... the best move is to buy dirrectly.

well you as most invest at bitcoin to it break eaven, above 1000 dollars for some and above it to others,if its value were between 200 and 300 dollars would you keep investing into bitcoin knowing that it has limits?

sure, dont forget that things can/will change soon Wink
