the "false posive" problem throughout the crypto community has a very simple reason.
Its not a code problem it a heuristic thing. The heuristic engine of every antivirus tool has
the job, to detect viruses, that are unknown to the antivirus database based on behavioral pattern, of known maleware.
Given, that a majority of Trojan Horses are using compromised computers to mine coins,
a wallet is in fact doing everything, that for an anivirustool, looks like maleware.
If you look up the classifications of the alert on a database like symantecs,
your will most likely find the description of a classical Mining Botnets Trojan Horse

And in addition to that.. Virustotal uses lots of scanners with outdated whitelists.. Causing all these false positives to rise.. That is a problem of the anti virus company in question (lack of fast updating), and from virustotal for running these scanners.. lol.. Always use an alternative to virustotal as well.. You would be amazed how the result is different, when some sites use the same antivirus scanners etc.. lol Just my 2 fly.. ps. Explorer updated.. There is also a max. 6 hour old bootstrap in the about tab for people with syncing issues.. |

The BETA is planned for the 25th... (could be few days later, found some issues that needs attention.) I hope this clears some things up I've had my code reviewed by 2 old collegues I have a lot of respect for, and learned about 50% of my crafts from.. Without going into detail to much.. There are some things I need to rewrite from scratch.. I hope you all understand I take things very seriously when it comes down to security issues.. Long story short.. I was advised not to go BETA yet, and improve the code system even further.. I will keep you all updated on the progress.. I do want to apologize for the delay.. Maybe it's better to work without setting dates.. |

Escrows are there to ensure the development team at least gives out the shares/tokens/coins.. Are the tokens not worthless if they aren't backed by anything? How is having worthless shares better than having nothing? It seems like investors would have to trust two parties (BetBase and escrow agent) rather than just one (BetBase) but get nothing substantial in return. Dont get me wrong.. I completely agree with you.. But something, is better then nothing.. Thats my point.. Even if that something is worthless in the end.. lol.. Just my 2cts.. |

I don't understand what the role of an escrow agent would be. It sounds like the escrow is supposed to hold all the investment until the shares are issued? Then once the shares are issued, the escrow agent would transfer the sum to betbase?
However, I don't see what that protects against. If betbase were scammers, they would still just issue shares (they would just never have any value) and get the money. So unless I'm missing something, a simple escrow would only serve to increase investors risk?
(That is, unless the escrow agent is expected to hold the money for the long-term and keep track of expenses to try avoid embezzlement)

I'm a big fan of cannabis and cannabis related products.. (I'm dutch for a reason  ) However.. I don't see any past experience around cannabis itself in the team members list.. You can bring in experienced coders etc.. But without cannabis growing experts and people with great knowledge and global connections in this scene, this will not work imho.. Also 5 million dollars.. Are you trying to buy out greenhouseseeds.com or something?  Way to much budget for a cannabis startup.. |

Hi vegasguy, I tried to do a name claim at the site 2 to 3 pages back, but kept having error issues on their site
after pasting my wallet hash and user name, so after spending between 30 - 45 mins not getting anywhere, I emailed them with my info and hope they will help.

The current, full Radium blockchain is available for download at CryptoChainer.com. It will get your wallet in sync almost instantly. Awesome! Our installer and a few tools have the options to download the chain/bootstrap when installing the wallet. Do you update your chains at regular intervals? I would be interested in using your service instead of our current hosting. (with appropriate credit given of course).
