Smooth new layout in OP Time for a long nap now Note: Let me remind you all that this is not some short term project for me.. So don't expect everything to be released and announced within a month.. Developments take time and patience.. Whenever there is something done.. It will be announced...! Also looking for people who want to help and expand chipcoin in it's usage /community reach. Contact me if you are interested.. Any skill that can help Chip is usefull! edit: Chipcoin got added to the Cryptsy Voting list! https://www.cryptsy.com/coinvotesIf you have a few cryptsy points/satoshis to spare, please vote

Probably tomorrow, another wallet update! I was not happy with the current skin I put on.. New wallet will have some extras Such as an in-build cpu miner etc.. really usefull feature.. hashing but low on power you talking about a GUI interface for the already existing hashing functions? or are you adding stratum support? I got a few solo blocks just by issuing the 'setgenerate true' command. Yes, sorry... only gui interface... makes it easier for old and new people to start mining some coins Finishing some stuff now.. wallet will be rolled out later today! edit: New wallet is released! Download links in OP are updated! Note: Please back-up your wallet.dat before starting the new QT It is finally weekend, so I have some extra time to work on basic things! twitter, facebook etc. Cheers, Banzai edit2: Seed nodes /explorer updated to latest source

I really like POS coins , but in this case I really have to admit that this coin has me hooked . So I am holding/buying and looking forward to your development .
Here's to the future / cheers
The "problem" with PoS coins is that generating coins is (almost)free.. With mining you actually spent money on rentals and electricity etc. Not many people are willing to dump their stack for a loss

no pos for this coin only pow? how does the blockchain keep on moving in event of no miners??
If that really happens of course I will make a switch to a low % PoS/PoW hybrid.. But only if this turns out the be a problem! We need to monitor the situation first when the blockreward becomes 1 chip.. I really prefer PoW only for the time being.. I hope interest will keep growing when new features/services will be released.. so the miners will keep mining If we can pull this off it is actually a really succesfull formula.. with an ultimate low inflation for a PoW type of coin I hope this clears up your confusion
