541  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Should trading be for the rich? on: December 04, 2023, 05:16:34 AM
The thing to emphasize with this is the amount of money a person is trading, fully knowing and accepting to lose. Everyone should be aware that trading, whether it's cryptocurrencies, stocks, currencies, etc., there's always a risk and there's no assurance for that. So before going in to the investment, there should be an acceptance that you can lose money if you make the wrong decision.

If you are talking about the capacity or volume you make per trade, that's a different discussion.
542  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: [Overview] Bitcointalk Contests And Giveaways on: December 04, 2023, 04:33:19 AM
We know that mixer will be banned from the forum starting from January 1, 2024,
I just read from the post above by logfiles about the banning of a mixer. Where is the reference to this? The banning would start on January 1, 2024, next year. I would like to read the thread and explore it. I want to see how other people are handling it as well.

*edit
Nevermind. Found it. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5476162.0
543  Economy / Speculation / Re: Has anybody expected this? on: December 04, 2023, 04:27:23 AM
It has been a great start to the week not just for us but everyone who is looking for to invest in any cryptocurrency. Bitcoin is definitely one of the things that you could start to put money into as long as you can risk that amount. It's fun to see how many people are going to witness this and I hope that everyone is making the right choices and believing that it is the right thing.

I do hope it continues to rise.
544  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto.com app customer help down? on: December 01, 2023, 02:36:07 PM
Have you tried to check this out OP?

https://help.crypto.com/en/

Or on the website? On the lower right? I think you could chat there directly.
545  Economy / Economics / Re: Black Friday deals and your plan to hold bitcoins. on: November 28, 2023, 05:02:12 PM
It gives you the reason to buy and not to really observe HODLing or something. Because in the market, the only discount that you can get is if the market itself is on the red and the decrease in price would be enough to get you in. I think that's the best discount and I think it just happens when there's really a big event that could happen.

Don't give yourself another thing to spend on, just HODL your BTC.  Tongue
546  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price $45k by ending of 2023: AI prediction on: November 28, 2023, 05:00:07 PM
Was this taught to the AI engines? Are there reasons for their prediction? I think it's a fun game to see how they have been able to predict that and I hope that they would be able to. As long as it's increasing in price or something, that would be great. Not that I believe that it will happen but why not, right?

Can you replicate this in any way? I would like to see those AI engines.
547  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Vs Monero - Privacy as the world becomes more dystopian on: November 27, 2023, 11:37:19 PM
There are a lot of reasons why people are opting for the more privacy part knowing that they don't want anything to be governed or any information leaked about themselves. I think a dystopia is kind of an overreaction toward what is happening because it's still not at that level where you are dehumanized or something. Fearful, maybe, but that might be because of what you are doing with it as well that's why some people are frightened of it because of their use case or application.

Node count has passed BTC and mining hash rate is growing rapidly as you don't need an Asics, just your PC.
Can you explain this further OP? I want to know what you mean by this.
548  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What one change to Bitcoin can make it's adoption faster? on: November 27, 2023, 10:30:50 AM
Is this about one change towards Bitcoin? Like how we treat it or see it as? Or the actual Bitcoin itself to change?

You should be more clear on the question because a lot of things can be interpreted with that. I think the part with you said "To Bitcoin" on the subject makes it as if to change how its technology works or anything.

I'm quite confused.
549  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Earn Free Crypto: A Comprehensive Guide on: November 27, 2023, 04:08:27 AM
I checked the article and it doesn't show how to earn free crypto. The first article doesn't talk about it but the title is about "Earning crypto" but it talks about the background and what it is. You need to go to another link. It just takes more steps to see what they have and I don't really like that kind of thing. It's not straight to the point with the title and the body of the article.

Maybe you can just post the article here. There's nothing comprehensive in the first article. Maybe on the second one, but I don't want to check it out anymore with what I saw on the first one.
550  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: We should start looking into Altcoins on: November 25, 2023, 05:41:59 PM
How can we see it happening when it "eventually" starts pouring to the top altcoins? What's your evidence for it?

Does a 2.1% rise in price (at the time of posting) of SOL mean that it came from BTC, of the volume?
Does a 1.5% rise in price (at the time of posting) of LINK mean that it came from BTC, of the volume?

It's hard to determine where it came from and we need to verify it at times. It's best that you find ways to show why it is happening and if it already happened.
551  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin's Impact on South Asian Economies. on: November 24, 2023, 04:43:32 PM
The foreheads? Their head? That's funny lol.

Anyway kidding aside, it's a getting to know no borders type of thing for me. Whether you are in the world it's 1:1 BTC to BTC. It doesn't care about the location it can be distributed to anyone with a wallet and the place doesn't matter.

It is a big impact because they are distributing wealth in a different way I think.
552  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Weak or wise? on: November 24, 2023, 02:54:14 PM
You're not making sense. There's no end to trading unless the world stops or something. It's either you decide or you get satisfied with the amount you have profited in the trade. You need to have a good plan when you are trading and you need to know when that entry and exit is and not say that "until the end". That's not going to be effective.
553  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2023-11-22] Robert Kiyosaki Says Prepare for Hyperinflation on: November 24, 2023, 06:09:08 AM
It would depend on what you are trying to achieve when hedging. Not everyone could do this and if they can, they have the ability to prepare for the worst. It's really a tricky situation if it's about people's financial standing. It's still best that you have to work on the fundamentals to be safe, like the emergency funds and insurance things to be secured.

If people would accept BTC as it is, then it would be a great asset to collect. I hope that majority of people would because I know a lot of people who doesn't want to be involved in BTC.
554  Economy / Economics / Re: Insurance is important on: November 23, 2023, 11:13:08 AM
Having to work and being secure is one way to think about this. Knowing that you are able to become capable of handling these types of things is right. Being protected and secure is a great way to live because you will never know what is coming next and it is something to be thought about when you have the capacity to.

Some people think of it as "when they need it" but others do it because they think ahead and I think being secure is the best way to prevent headaches in the future and be secure when the unexpected happens.

It's up to you if you want to be ready or not but I believe it's worth pondering upon.
555  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: F1 Formula Sports Racing - Sportsbet.io promotions & discussion thread on: November 22, 2023, 03:31:33 AM
If anyone has not been keeping up with the F1 contests being held on the games and rounds board, the last one is not to be missed as there is an amazing williams racing goodie bag to be won
It looks great, but does anyone know what is that GRID Pass?
I searched for this term and all I got was some celebrity pass for Formula One, with actors, sportsman and other famous people getting special access.
Maybe Beers with Steve are coming soon in Formula 1  Shocked
Wow. Having VIP Access would be a dream to participate in. It's definitely one of the most exciting experiences that we could do. That's where you could really meet the drivers or any VIP on the team right? Or maybe a chance? That's really expensive though :O

557  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Largest crypto exchange CEO arrested! Anyone getting deja vu? on: November 22, 2023, 03:12:49 AM
This is big news and the cryptocurrency market would probably receive a big fallback with what is happening. A lot of people might have their money stashed in crypto and they need to at least liquidate it along with a big player like Binance.

I wasn't fully aware that they have this going on in the news. I probably haven't read much in this case. I did see the link sent by franky1 and it was just recently, November 14, 2023, when it was signed. So maybe not much news yet has spread?

What I'm curious about is with this going on, what would be the effect of it to us, individuals?
558  Economy / Economics / Re: You are the product. Corporations spying on us deeper than we thought? on: November 22, 2023, 01:41:17 AM
The safe assumption is that "they are always listening" whatever the situation is whether you are in an event, a car, or sleeping, as long as it has battery, they would always be in that aspect.

I think it's pretty much automated with the keywords and once they have detected the tone and word that you are saying, the ads would be able to be tailor-fit to you and that's probably why it was offered to you exactly as it is. Usually, that's the activity tracking you that you might have accepted or something. In iPhones, usually, you accept or decline an app to track. It's probably similar to that.

What I'm not sure of is whether or not it's really "recording" or just waiting for keywords.
559  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: investing a money on: November 21, 2023, 11:56:32 PM
If you ever only have that money to spare, it's best that you get some job that would help you sustain your needs and be the best at that current job, whether you would take it in months time or years, then you would leverage that job into making more money and then possibly creating a business of your own similar to the one you are working with. Maybe then you would get more money.

So for me, you only have that, it's best to invest in yourself and then a business.
560  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: xrp future and your opinion? on: November 21, 2023, 11:52:34 PM
You basically said it, it's an old coin, which is still a cryptocurrency. Are you planning to invest in it OP?

~
SEC charges will be announced soon. If they succeed in the SEC case, XRP will definitely be stronger. Whenever the announcement is positive in favor of exerpi the price will definitely go up.
Didn't the charges get dropped for the other representatives? And possibly, the majority has been partially Ripple. Maybe that's why they somewhat lost sight of what they were doing and protecting in the first place.
