541  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are other cryptocurrencies not like Bitcoin? on: August 12, 2021, 03:04:07 PM
Over the years Bitcoin have been doing very great and as a matter of fact it is the fastest cryptocurrency that is much valuable and growing with rapid speed. Unlike other cryptocurrencies, some come doing better at the earlier stage but as time goes on they loss value and at the end of the day it gets crash .
my question is that why can't they last and be like Bitcoin and what does it take for this unstable cryptocurrencies to be like Bitcoin.
I'll be glad to get responds to add to my knowledge concerning this . Thank you

Many of these coins are centralized and managed by greedy developers, compared to Bitcoin which is truly decentralized and has no central office to manage the development, there are a lot of Bitcoin clones but Bitcoin is the original and was created on a vision of decentralization and anonymity, other coins are here to make money and have influence in the market.
542  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Manny Pacquiao vs Errol Spence Jr - August 21 on: August 11, 2021, 03:14:24 PM

This is why a lot of boxing fans are upset because they felt they were scammed and wanted refund. A lot of us are excited to see Pacquiao vs Spence but unfortunately, it is not happening. And now, the odds are in favor of Pacquiao, the underdog now is Ugas. Don't know if bookies will attract bettors because of the turn of events.

Ugas cannot be compared to Spence, Spence is way better fans have reason to be disappointed especially the fans of Spence, but the welfare of any boxer is important, they have the right to get a refund but the Ugas Pacquiao is also a very interesting fight, this is not a good way to end Pacquiao career fighting a lesser-known opponent.
543  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will not be able to stay above $40K for 10 consecutive days ever again! on: August 09, 2021, 09:52:28 PM
This is a very challenging thread and allows speculators to bet and challenge OP so far OP lose this one but he can create another one to challenge speculators and investors again I hope he or anyone can do this until Bitcoin reaches $100k which is quite possible if we have a big pump in the last quarter.
544  Other / Off-topic / Re: How do I convince my family that I want to pursue my career in Crypto space? on: August 08, 2021, 10:47:27 AM
PS - I don't have a coding background.

If they trust you, you don't have to convince them if they want a course for you then you really have to convince them, you need to show them that you can and you are not going to waste money and will have a decent and support them if you finish your course and get a job, tell them it's a lucrative job and many young people are going into it and you really love to code.
545  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is Binance too big to fail? on: August 08, 2021, 09:12:30 AM

What are your thoughts? Is Binance too big to fail? If not, why? Do you think Binance has too much power/influence over the crypto/Blockchain industry? How will it affect crypto (either positively or negatively) in the long term? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Smiley

Let's admit it, Binance has made life easier for all of us here, they only list the best project, they have one of the lowest transaction fees and they made it easy for developers to create their token, I wonder what will happen to the industry if Binace fail, it's success is our success its failure is our failure too.
546  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: How can I reach the more people to token I designed? on: August 08, 2021, 09:05:52 AM
I believe I have a nice token design.
I want to share my token with the world but I don't know how to reach people.

Whitepaper vectitoken.com

How can you do that if your domain is not yet configured and it's a parked domain, before you think of promoting check if your project is worth looking at, promotion and marketing are worthless if you have nothing to show to your visitors before you start promoting code your project and make it worth your visitor's time.
547  Other / Off-topic / Re: looking for a betting site on: August 08, 2021, 07:30:53 AM
Hello guys.
I'm looking for a betting site (especially football) where they also accept cryptocurrencies like btc , eth.
Please write only safe site.

There are too many gambling sites to mentioned I recommend the one I'm promoting in my signature very reputable with a very long campaign Bitvest but if you add more you go here
Gambling Casinos that accept Cryptocurrency

Do your own research, it's better to add at least 5 if you have big funds you can add more play on all of them and compare.
548  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Do any casinos offer cryptocurrency staking? on: August 08, 2021, 07:09:14 AM
Yes Bfg token I just started here and I'm getting 100 sats, some Ethereum, Binance and Tron, hurry up before the price goes up it is not listed in the market aggregator yet but it is already traded on Biswap, this is for me the best staking site, you can increase your number of BFG token by playing or you can use BFG token to play, although risky.
549  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Doge Coins? on: August 08, 2021, 01:52:26 AM
is it a joke or what?
i personally dont think that its a real deal to go up with.
Rumors that Dogecoin is like bitcoin yet i dont see many websites using it. is there any earn-money site paying in dogecoins?

Many sites accept payments with Dogecoin, but what I often use are sites that provide domain or hosting services.
But if it is said that Dogecoin will be like Bitcoin, this is probably an exaggerated joke. It is impossible for us to race the bull with the rabbit. It's the right term if someone says that Dogecoin will be like Bitcoin.

The only reason why it's getting attention and the price pump up is that Elon Musk continues shilling of DogCoin, if it really has the potential to be on top it should have happened years ago but the whole community just considered it as a pump and dump coin, many investors just followed Elon Musk leads to pump, it's a classic example of pump and dump scenario.
550  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo Alvarez vs Dmitry Bivol on: August 07, 2021, 01:48:37 PM

He must give GGG a third fight. Otherwise, who else he shouls fight. There no good fighter left, who he hasnt beaten already. Should he start fighting same fighters for the second time and beat everyone two times?

I remember his interview when he answered, that he has already beaten GGG in their second fight and there is nothing left to prove. Same is with other fighters, nothing left to prove them. I dont know who he should fight now and who can give him a good and interesting fight.

I don't know who this Bivol is but I agree that he should give GGG the third match because that's what fans want and they are both going to make money, they should let this fight happen because the second fight is not really conclusive, if he thought that he is better than GGG then take the fight and knock him out, not fighting and giving unknown fighters a chance to make huge money.
551  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is not getting above $41,000 on: August 06, 2021, 02:32:51 PM
What is happening, bitcoin is not getting beyond $41,000, I am think the price will get to $50,000 but my mind is double now, the price increase again to $41,000 yesterday but not going beyond, what is happening, when will the price increase to $50,000. The other mind I get now is if the price of bitcoin will decrease low $40,000 because it has been within $39,000 and $41,000 now.

It's not the market it's only you, you are being impatient the market is moving just find we should all be thankful that finally after so many months the price is on the $40k level again it almost drops to $30k, I have this feeling that you bought at the price higher than $40k and you want to regain your investment and make a profit, it cannot be done overnight.
552  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Altcoins replace Bitcoin?!?!? on: August 06, 2021, 04:29:13 AM
Will the rise of altcoins eventually lead to the demise of Bitcoin? Ultimately Bitcoin has been tested and it has a place in the crypto world. Join our  discord https://discord.gg/pp7Jwsp9 for further discussions about this topic. Tell me what you think?

Demise is not the right word overtake should be the one, if ever they are going to overtake Bitcoin it will take more years and the coin that will replace them should be good enough and widely adopted so far the nearest competitors are Ethereum and Binance but many coins are coming in and continue developing, the scenario could be different in the next five years.
553  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: High discount in presale on: August 05, 2021, 01:37:46 PM
Is 75% discount in presale of a project way too high? What do you think will happen to such project giving away too high discount for a presale? Will this cos huge dump or you've seen projects that survives after such massive discount

UPDATE

I meant 75% not $, that was a mistake and thanks for understanding

It's going to have a massive dump if whales are going to buy a huge percentage of the supply, developers are doing this to kickstart the crowdfunding because once investors see that investments are coming up, they will follow it like a domino effect, so it's a good attraction for investors and an opportunity to make a huge profit.

Thank you for all payments lightlord. I guess there is no change in payment tiers for Bitvest campaign.

I also noticed Lightlord post in the 777 announcement thread about the new rates, I thought it will be the same here in Bitvest I'm still waiting for the confirmation.
555  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will physical casinos accept crypto someday? on: August 04, 2021, 01:52:26 PM

There's no big difference in terms of processing as long as the users understand how to use crypto, the big difference only is on the tax treatment as we know fiat casinos and crypto casinos have different regulations on taxation and casinos have to comply both on the requirement for them to have a smooth operation without regulatory problems.

Taxation is the least of the concern, implementation is the transaction fee and confirmation these are the two big issues that confront developers if they are going to set up a gambling casino that accepts Cryptocurrency in betting, once it is properly implemented the government can do its thing of regulation and taxation, as long as gambling site can compromise and follow the regulations all will be well.
556  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cryptocurrencies price and their effect on gambling industry on: August 04, 2021, 01:14:44 PM
I prefer to HODL my Bitcoin and my other coins in the bull market, which means double the profit from the price I purchased, I only spend Bitcoin in my gambling activity in the bear trend, and so are other coins I deposited, but this is based on my decision only, some gamblers don't care whether it's bear or bull they will continue to play.
557  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Passive income on: August 04, 2021, 02:28:01 AM
Have you heard of projects like pay to earn, they are trending topics now, because of the success of Axie, there are three projects now worth investing and holding if you are not going to play, in the future, it will increase the price by tenfold or more, these projects are Binamon Dpet and ofc course Axie do check them out.
558  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you feel happy on getting merits ? on: August 04, 2021, 02:02:10 AM
I login my account and if i see my merit count increase, i quickly move to my merit section to see which of my post was merited and who gave me merit.
It gives a sense of pleasure and happiness on getting merits and for the whole day i remain full of joy.

Do you guys have similar feelings when your post get merited ?

I'm not checking my merits anymore I checked if I have deleted messages or a warning from spamming, I am more concerned about the quality of my posts more than the merits I'm getting, merits will just come if you think you think and feel you are doing good in your posts, those who are the lower ranked members who wants to join bounty are more concerned on their merits, I'm in a position where I enjoy what I'm doing without any pressure for merits.
559  Economy / Services / Re: Help in password recovery for your wallet.dat on: August 04, 2021, 01:30:30 AM
If you forgot the password from your wallet I may able to help you to recover it for reward.
If the password was generated in password generator - forget about it, it's almost impossible.
What will be the process and what is the difference between coming from your own created password from one coming on password generator is it the complexity, like blockchain.com where you do not have the private key and you only have the wallet identifier and your email for login verification, have you done it on the blockchain.com and what's your success rate.
560  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling attracted to emotion or luck on: August 03, 2021, 11:05:55 PM

Emotion is just a normal part but doesnt mean that it would affect luck chance for you to win the game. There's no factor that could affect your winning probabilities.

You could be happy and think you will have a great day and later you will find out that it's not your lucky day at all, if you are happy and having a great day don't think it will contribute to your success in winning in the gambling, you don't have control and sometimes we tend to be careless when we are full of emotion, it's better to bet when you are more relaxed.
