I will eventually update older donor listings with amounts. This will make re-dontation and level jumps easier to handle.
As to payment IDs, I do think using ArticMine's method is good. But I will assume fluffypony will tell me if a donation does NOT come through, and until then I will trust the donor.

I suppose the obvious answer is Monero will be used for private cash like transactions on social networks... But my point is the other uses will pave the way for this. We don't need that functionality first.

So if you are going to bring that Napster size market into your crypto-currency, you are going to need your wallet client integrated into social networking.  Which is, of course, the polar opposite of anonymity. If we use a file sharing analogy we should flesh it out a little more, though it cannot be a perfect analogy. Bitcoin is most like Napster --> iTunes&SpotifyWe are talking about technology which is eventually sanctioned, regulated, and used in the open. Though it had shaky beginnings and was tied to illegal uses it evolves to become more mainstream. It has many connections with the social network, and will always be preferred by masses who do not need the value of less convenient methods which offer better privacy (buy a CD with cash and convert to MP3 for use on a non connected device), and are glad to avoid the appearance of shady dealings. Monero is more like Gnutella -> Bittorrent. This is ethics neutral and legally agnostic technology. It evolved to evade the costs to privacy incurred by the other technology and to further avoid centralization. It may never be as widespread in use as the more open connected technology above, but the astute user, or professional user might find value in this more private decentralized solution. Of course crime uses also gravitate to this technology as they find clear benefits in privacy. But it is CERTAINLY not only crime that will find an interest (linuxtracker.org for example). There are few connections to the social network. So a question is this (for AnonyMint really), why would Monero need a facebook app? Not that it wont get one, but the use cases for Monero span a slightly different set than that of more "mainstream" crypto imo. |

Also, we're wondering if we should listen to such comments and actually stop doing campaigns like this one. Please make your opinion known: if most of you guys actually don't like this campaign, we are prepared to comply. Otherwise we shall probably continue with it. Also, we wanted to remind you that our 'Monero2TheMoon' and Usability Improvement and Bug Reporting campaigns are still underway. I am fine with the campaigns and as long as you keep the marketing side reasonable and non spammy I say let people vote with their XMR/BTC. I personally trade on your exchange and poloniex. |

1) re: cashout times | SwC has always taken a "security first" stance on all matters. That is the reason for human eyes on every single cashout. Yes it sucks and takes a long time. Yes it's most secure this way. Yes it takes longer than instant. We post the times clearly and have a brilliant record since 2011. I can't see any move in the near future to instant cashouts, it is simply a security issue.
To respond to the bold section: I recognize you are sympathizing with folks who feel the way you describe, and that's cool... but... It absolutely does not suck. It is a hallmark of why SwC security has worked, works now, and will continue to work. It has saved my ass at least once, and I am grateful. As to speed. Seriously... this is a poker room. Cashouts are handled by hand, and they generally take <12 hours. Usually faster than that. Tight security measures are worth a wait which is still quantum leaps faster than any major poker room. |

I believe for the lower Dan levels a simple transaction id or screenshot from an exchange is good... but I will verify, and determine if there is a way to use payment IDs.

The first organization character created to the game, Monero House, is feeling the renaissance.
The organization was established and the House was built in 1-C-A3 in 1450, almost 14 decades ago. The House was designed to be 2-story with 2 mezzanines, but due to the haste in constructing it for the Golden Jubilee, only HG The Bishop and the King were contacted for donations. They split the cost of construction and the lot was donated by the Town. Only the lower half of the House was constructed, and it stands to this day.
The House has a Monero Info Center, a Tavern with a cabinet, and some offices/hotel rooms. The Monero House hotel was the first hotel in the town, closing after 100 years of operation in 1550. The Monero House is proud of its shrewd manager (MGR-5) who is currently leased to HM The King, and is administering the Royal Household, one of the largest households in the game with a 10 NPC strong management and 67 million annual expenditure.
What is happening now is that the Hall of Fame, formerly residing in BCT, will be transferred to CK with all its prizes and privileges. The people who have a rank in the BCT HoF, will be credited an equal rank in the CK HoF. To make the transition possible, the holders of the ancient titles from the BCT era, will have to register to CK. Well, that is as easy as contacting the nearest administrator. For the ones that register during the Ancient era, approximately 10 real-days, the following bonuses are credited:

If you feel any burden to do it, I am happy to relinguish the responsibility! I suggest someone considers to take the privilege of updating the list away from me. I will need to be away for the weekend (gulp!), and also afterwards I easily believe that someone else would be more suitable for the task. So if interested, ask me!I don't have the access to the dev accounts (or any proprietary information) and did not seek special permission from the devs before starting the list. My analysis shows the coin has 2,700 owners that have 100+ coins (so are eligible to donate 1 XMR). If we assume that 5% actually do it, the thread with ~130 entries is still a very compact task I will do it if you wish. I may not update more than once a day. |

Rpietila has shown that 5400% annual Debasement (1.1% per DAY) is working to distribute the coin via the normal expected power law distribution of money[3].
Part of the reason it is working is the fact we all understand the emission rate is currently as high as it EVER will be and drops off in an exponential-like curve. 1.1% per day... works for TODAY. If it were going to be that forever no one would touch this with a 10 foot pole. |
