And what is 65 years in the USA? Your president is 80 years old, although he sometimes falls asleep at meetings Smiley
You have better medicine, so there are a lot of older people. In Russia, it is very difficult to live up to 70 years in the city for a citizen with an average salary.

Don't worry now Putin will make sure this goes well below 70 with the stupidity of isolating Russia further and further.I don't want to bring this thread to political views but it is impossible when Russia is mentioned now,the fact that they ask for important parts for their technology chain from India says a lot to me and since Russia is already with this war about 40-50 years behind in technology compared to the West they better stop this war and sit down in the negotiations table rather than isolating further Russia up to a point where there is no return.
Russia has good medicine and a lot of good private clinics, but not all people can afford expensive treatment. I have a mining farm in the village, and you can meet a lot of people over 80 years old there. And if you want to live long, then you need to leave the city for the countryside, breathe fresh air and buy natural products, and not what they sell in stores in the city.

That is true that there is a lot of pollution in the cities and I believe the only big ones in Russia where truly the heart of their economy is Moscow and Petersburg, everything else I believe to be divided equally between all other cities although I don't know the Russian history that much.Even where I live there are a lot of good private clinics but not many people can afford them so what is the point on having them, just for the millionaires, does not make any sense to me.

Unfortunately the last two decades where the average Russian increased his personal earnings during Putin regime it is all going straight into the garbage now because of the error of one man and no one is up to protest about it,that is a catastrophic economic mistake that Russia is making and people there are supporting this mistake.

Netherlands v Argentina in quarter final sounds like a tasty match. Messi, de Jong, de Light, Lisandro, Lautaro, Memphis...

I'd put my money on Argentina tho... Too much firepower

I don't mind Netherlands putting US to the sword as I'm ready).
Everything looks so easy for the Clockwork Orange. Memphis was an absolute flop in FC Barcelona... And out of nowhere he's leading the team to another final. Fantastic work from van Gaal

You would be right with their defense Netherlands cannot bode that well against Argentina despite them not playing well in the game against Australia right now and they even risk to get a draw twice in the last 5 minutes but they were lucky to not get it and also unlucky to not score again in the extra times of 7 minutes which they had a lot of occasions to do so.Lautaro and Messi failed to score in this extra time, nevertheless it was magical to see both Lautaro and Messi playing in the same team, truly wonderful and I wonder why Scaloni prefers Alvarez who beside scoring the goal and not with great merit didn't do anything else while Lautaro played much better.

Sure, odds have been strange for that game but since Netherlands have been playing very effective so far (not many attemps on target), maybe it's for a time when Netherlands are less lucky. But turned out to be a good bet, Netherlands won 3-1 against USA.
In addition, odds are looking interesting for Japan to qualify against Croatia, I don't know why bookmakers are favoring Croatia so much. Croatia vs. Belgium has been very lucky for Croatia...

Croatia is much better than Japan and that is a sure fact and I fully agree with the bookies,Japan beside the game they beat Germany they did not show anything else as they lost against Costa Rica and Spain in 99.99% of the case let them win trying to make also Germany fail to go further than the group stage.Croatia on the other hand is a team much more solid with a lot more experience in such competitions than Japan and their coach is one of the best,he was also the coach of a team I love here in 2007-2008 so I know for sure to bet on Croatia on that game against Japan.

Finally a perfect result for me ,didnt expect it all before the match and was even worried when usa scored that i wasnt gonna win any points. This 3 points dont mean anything for me on the leaderboard but its nice to at least compete for the weekly ranking

I had it 2-0 for Netherlands,I forgot how pathetic Netherlands are in defense and against a strong adversary I don't think they will win any games, nevertheless I won the bet Netherlands to qualify and now I wait only Argentina to win in my double Netherlands and Argentina to win.I am gradually moving away from slots and loving much better the soccer,I could not wait and wanted to win instantly but now I learned that patience pays better dividends.

5425  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: A dream for CPU-Miners on: December 03, 2022, 11:16:23 AM
That might even be interesting, but at this time, with the price of energy rising all over the world, and the low value of CPU coins, I find it difficult to explore this type of mining.

CPU mining, in addition to consuming a lot of energy, also causes rapid wear to the chips. Which gives a very low durability. Therefore, I believe that CPU mining will only continue to be a small mining and that it is more for testing than anything else.

For enthusiast crypto currency miners I believe they are willing to take a risk for 2000 EUR and try to populate this with good devices to generate coins, right now there is RTM-Raptoreum which has a great team behind but since the coin is not listed yet for trading in Binance it has a really low value and even I who am mining with just 2 processors make like 25-30 coins daily, imagine someone with that device with that hold place for other 28 devices to mine this coin,it can mine in 6 months quite a lot of them and if this coin increase in price which has a high probability as it will offer developers to make smart contracts there in 2-3 programming languages,it will be a great choice.
5426  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Is the HDD mining hype over? on: December 03, 2022, 10:40:10 AM
ETH main net launched I think in Aug 2015 and when it launched it pumped hard for a couple of weeks, miners made lots of money. However then it started to die off. I don't remember what the price was but towards the end of the year, I think with a R9 280X GPU (top mining gpu at the time) you made like 1 ETH per day per 280X.

However it seemed like great profits but it was mostly mining at a loss. I think ETH briefly dipped below $1 a coin when all the IPO people dumped their coins. However later it started to recover and in early 2016, it became more profitable than BTC ASIC mining... and the rest is history.

Sounds exactly like the start of ETHW starting at over 100 dollars and going down to 3 dollars but it is not recovering yet as I believe it needs a couple of months to see where the team behind it wants to go,as long as they offer the same options that ETH offered I think big things await us but so far 0 pronunciation from the team behind it except that we know they are some anonymous miners from China so far,not the best of the start but hey the chain they will continue mining hopefully will be embraced and we can have a history 2.0 that repeats for this coin.
5427  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you have Lucky Casino? on: December 03, 2022, 10:23:06 AM
I wouldn't say their afe lucky casinos but I will say there are lucky players.
I once had a friend that plays virtual soccer so much and I really see that guy as being lucky because even at the darkest of hours or time when there is no food, he'll ask me to escort him to a betshop and no matter how bad the day might seem or be, we were certain of raising money for food for the day, at sometime I felt it wasn't natural and he had some fetish powers but I was proven wrong when we lost everything and all hope was lost for that very day. That's story for another day.

According to your story, it seems you gambling so much with your emotions and the truth be told that you are just trying to run from the fact that you also gamble uncontrollably when you make huge loses to cover those lose which isn't right.
Sometimes just take some time off for the day if it's not for you that very day

It is just about luck I think. When you play in different casinos you will get different results because of maybe different RTP they have implemented in their slot machines, one provider that gives such access to casinos is Play n Go and this should be taken with reserve and not play these games,I have tried first hand and have lost in every casino, while many would call these extreme bad luck it is not,it is just that most casinos have taken profit of such changeable RTP and implemented the lowest of the RTP the provider offers.

Changing casinos may work only in the short term as for long term we need a big self determination to quit gambling.

This is a good thread but the problem is that is widely unknown who the World Cup winner will be for this 2022.First of all it is the first time the World Cup is being held during the month of December despite temperatures in Qatar being equal to those on summer in other places. The quality of all the teams mentioned here is truly great and I find it difficult to give an insight of who could be the probable winner but personally I am a fan of Argentina and I will vote for them consequently.
5429  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's FIFA World Cup 22 Prediction Pool Discussion thread on: December 03, 2022, 08:34:51 AM
We have underdog teams like Morocco, Australia or South Korea in the next round, while big names like Belgium, Uruguay, Germany eliminated already.
Most likely, we can also add Denmark here. Most people had seen Denmark advancing from group stage easily as well but instead, we have Australia advancing from that group.  Cheesy
Looks like we'll have some less difficult tasks for the big favorites but after many surprises, it's absolutely on the table to have some big surprises in the round of sixteen, again.

Not a single team made 9 points during group stage, Brazil lost against Cameroon today and Portugal lost against South Korea today as well.
So far, only England, Morocco and the Dutch team made 7 points during group stage (only teams not defeated so far).

And today, even one additional goal for Switzerland or Cameroon and Brazil would only be second in their group...

I doubt Australia goes further away as they face Argentina tonight which I think will "massacre" Australia by beating them with a tennis result if they play at full power and there is no reason tonight to not play at full power because by not doing so they risk a lot, they risk the World Cup so finally we are in that time where calculations are out of the equation.

I also wonder why Netherlands had an odd 1.96 against USA and this scared me so I only bet on them to qualify further at 1.45 which I think is like a sure bet.

Now it's official, the Chinese Grand Prix for 2023 has been canceled and the Shanghai Grand Prix for the fourth year in a row.
However, the will is to continue racing over 24 races

I think it is a pity as the Shanghai track is one of the best tracks in terms that it permits overtaking and a lot of them and after the new regulations introduced this year in the F1 circus the cars can follow each other much closer and we would be seeing a really nice race there.I think it is the right decision though to make as the Covid 19 is out-breaking yet again at a really fast rate in China and the government does not seem to contain it except that shutting down a lot of things including the F1 race.

Once again, there are no surebets in soccer, especially not this worldcup. Royse was indeed right and I also had the same feeling. Bet on a draw for this game as Brazil was already qualified so not really bothered about the end result for this game. Came very close to winning my bet lol!
We should be able to learn from how teams that have definitely qualified will no longer playfully, and yesterday's two matches proved that South Korea won and Cameroon won, unfortunately, I only bet on South Korea winning and thought that Brazil would not just throw this match away and let Cameroon win easily but didn't see how the match went but Cameroon's victory was not enough to take him to the round of 16

Sure bets of course there are not as we are seeing odds like 1.20-1.30 losing their last game because they are already qualified, but from today games I think the odd of 1.20 for Argentina for example is going to be a win against Australia and this for me can be considered a sure bet as I don't think Argentina will throw away this World Cup at this stage against such easy opponent.

Brazil played well yesterday or made it look like this as Martinelli and Antony created a lot of chances but the Cameroon goalkeeper kept the score sheet clean for Cameroon.

The circumstances are pretty different too, I can never remember a December world cup set of games not in my lifetime anyway.    Theres various other reasons, France loses to Tunisa but they fielded a B team to save the energy of the main players apparently so that was why.  Devil is in the detail.

It is not because of December it is because teams play with calculation in mind and they seem to have forgotten what real football is,December may impact them somehow but this is a December with over 28 degree Celsius as temperatures so it is the same as being played in summer in other places.

Finally tomorrow we start a phase where no calculations are valid as the teams will play up to sudden death (penalties) if they cannot win in the regular and extra time so they better try to score goals.I placed a bet here in Freebitco.in for Uruguay and I believe to have won it,tomorrow I place others.
5434  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's FIFA World Cup 22 Prediction Pool Discussion thread on: December 02, 2022, 09:28:59 PM
Brazil looked like they were in training rather than in normal game, they were already qualified and this was to be somewhat expected,Cameroon even in the first half had the most dangerous of occasions to score a goal but they did so in the additional time of the second half.Brazil created more chances but the chances were either neutralized by Cameroon goalkeeper which for me was the hero of the game or otherwise not finish well by Brazil attackers.I liked very much Antony as player despite Martinelli showed much better performance tonight for Brazil.

If we did bet on the underdogs every day we would be "rich" now, that is how many upsets this World Cup had and I want to cite Beckenbauer which said "if you want to see beautiful football again remove football betting",sounds to me like this was the case so far in this World Cup.

I also do not understand that low odd of Uruguay who is just about to start the game at odds of 1.70 when they have scored exactly 0 goals so far and missed their chances to score in two games against South Korea and Portugal. They may score today but I do not underestimate Ghana which has shown great desire to play well and score goals, the normal odds should be 2.90 for Ghana and 2.20 for Uruguay as winners but probably the bookies know more than I do as they have more info available and I got and place a bet on Uruguay to win.

<..>
In fact this is something that novices can experience more frequently, I include myself there only when I was a novice, I had experiences as it appears on the chart, however now we as players who have a little more experience and know myself can say that things can happen like this but not with that behavior, sometimes we can stop the losses only with decisions that can make the difference between one play and another, perhaps because we already see the game as one more way to have fun and not to make money , since when we don't see it to make money, unwanted emotions enter, fear, stress, pressure and that makes us lose faster

isn't it interesting how expactations plays a role on relaxation during the experience?
if you have more expectations (wanting a particular outcome) it can make you more tense/less relaxed or more fearful, therefore more prone to mess up due to these emotional or thought conflicts

You are right. One time I was expecting to win the same amount of money as to buy a Mercedes CLS (what a f*cking idiot I was to think that) and once I started I was really relaxed calm, even happy as I was expecting to hit the maximum payline of my beloved slot machine at a certain bet most likely at 3 dollars for a bet.It started well it gave me the bonus round a couple of times and I increased the balance nicely only to lose it by continue playing as I thought the slot machine will keep giving me money (naive expectation) while in fact it took it all away and I become mad, tense and even nervous when talking to people.I do not do this anymore thank God.

Ferrari has actually also built a much bigger name with racing than Red Bull. Nevertheless, Red Bull has also achieved modest successes in the past. But you never see Red Bull cars driving on the highways, I don't think they exist either? Ferrari is better known to the general public than Red Bull, but has a lot of problems to solve before the start of the new season. If they don't get that right mechanically, it could well be another disappointing season. I expect Hamilton to be able to fight for the title again with Verstappen like 2 seasons ago.

We are not discussing which team has better history,we are discussing the actual times and the actual last season of F1 which just ended a couple of weeks ago.The engine to Redbull is provided by Honda a legendary Japanese provider which is also very well known in the highways,of course not as much as Ferrari but they too build really cool cars from family wagons to NSX their high end street racing car,in this context Redbull has nothing to envy to Ferrari as the engine they use is from a company at least as powerful as Ferrari and for me personally even more powerful.Ferrari as we have already discussed here has internal problems and it is these problems that they should fix and then starting to fight for the title again.

-snip
May be for some Japan's performance was impressive. Honesty speaking I did not see their matches but only the last 15 to 20 minutes yesterday and I did not like how they played. Germany gave their all to have a spot but on the other hand Japan only played with advantage.
-snip

one have to praise Germany, they could also let Costarica and push Spain home, but they played to win

doing that they ruined some of my bets, but cannot say that I am mad on them, they probably could no play better, second time in a row they are out, and asian/central america team combination knocked them (in Russia were Mexico and South Korea - both lost)

I played all in yesterday night at an odd of 1.10 for Germany and I know I should not be doing such things but I had a feeling that Spain would screw up because at first I wanted to go all in for Spain but I am very glad I did not and moved to Germany.I won a bit of extra money and I am happy for that amount.

For today I just put low amount for Brazil to win because they can do whatever they want in that game, but I am going again all in tomorrow for Netherlands not to win but to qualify I think it is a sure bet and their odd is near 2 to win so to qualify should be in the range of 1.5-.1.57 or something a bit more.
5439  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: December 02, 2022, 11:59:47 AM
But if someone is looking for more 'sure bet', probably Brazil(1.11) - Cameroon(9.00) is the game worth to consider.
What if Brazil let Cameroon to win the match. They don't need to be serious in this match because they are already qualified however a win for Cameroon can open the door for the next round even if Switzerland draw against Serbia. For 2nd position the group is still open for Cameroon, Switzerland and Serbia.

Anything can happen,we saw yesterday Spain to let Japan win and with that stone hitting two birds, they avoid a direct clash with Brazil and also made sure Germany to go home, how awesome is that. Now Brazil has the luxury to do whatever they want, they can even try Brazil B as the official team to play tonight, they can afford that luxury as they are already qualified,it all depends on them.

Switzerland has a difficult game and they should not underestimate Serbia at all which have a really good technical team which can bring really big problems to Switzerland in the game of today.
5440  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: December 02, 2022, 08:22:34 AM
Now, what a big surprise Japan was. Although their seconf goal should not be accepted, they deserved the win. Due to that Germany stayed behind which is something unseen. So, for this next phase, we are up with several teams that no one was expecting. This cup is turning out to be something very interestant to watch.

It is not unseen at all for Germany to not pass the group stages, they did the same in the 2018 World Cup or 2014 don't remember well which was but they could not pass the group at that tournament too.The problem of Germany is their coach who wants to implement the tika-taka style of football that Guardiola introduced at Barcelona,by doing so Germany has lost their identity as football winners and this needs to be corrected as soon as possible.I personally think that the tika taka style did more damage than benefit to football in general but that is just my opinion.
