That's worse than losing that amount of money in the Altcoin scam investment. Just like what happened to me last year, when I was scammed by the person I trusted with my altcoin that has the same amount of money that you had. We both lose it in the sense of losing it to nothing. Until now I still have that memories there are lot of what ifs in my mind but we need to consider to forget about it and move on. to make ourselves free from our past mistakes. |

I felt very sad seeing this thread as we are obviously discussing someone's failure. @cabalism13, no offense, don't get me wrong for my words but there were many businesses I know of, which were popular in early days but went missing due to funding issues.
well, my perception is different towards the user, Am really amazed for his guts for joining a competitor's campaign despite of having a failed Project, or maybe he was long doing this after that,... it takes a lot of guts IMO, and setting aside the pride that you have to start once again. But i think he doesn't plan to. That's how it goes with the life of the others, some times the one at the top will experience what it means to be in the bottom. Well, what happened here is the user got nothing to do with his account anymore, why not join any existing campaign that has something to do with his hobby or everyday work. in that case, he can share his experience and earn some decent amount at the same time. |

That escrowed bounty rewards should be mandatory if we really want to have a fair campaign where everyone will benefit. When the rewards are escrowed, the only thing you need to hope for is the price of the token when it listed in the crypto market. Because even though we secured the rewards we won't really know if the project will reach the market after the sales. Because there are some scenarios where those tokens won't even have a price after so many years have been passed after it sent to our wallet.
After this bounty manager had successfully managed some good project, it is normal to promote such fake project because at the beginning of the negotiations, you can't really tell if they telling the truth or not because they when they talked, you really think that they are serious with their projects until something like this will happen. Good luck for the participants and tell the manager to consider escrowing the rewards next time to avoid loss such as this one.

But when it comes to a safe asset part , there is literally a lot of problems that one has to take into account.
- Volatility is here to stay
- The government regulations will only tighten with time
- If the government decides to ban bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies then the whole company might be in a bit of a problematic situation

Invest in Bitcoins, no doubt but to make an investment of millions and that too regarding the company I do think that's a bit of an overstatement.

Oh! come on guys, this is just some mere speculation. this time he got it right and he is not the only one who got this right, everyone was expecting this thing to happen in 2020 because this is where the Bitcoin Halving happened. everyone was expecting that BTC will record a new ATH in the market because of this event and as we've seen so far, the BTC market is not done yet. Although these past few days are not going well, we still have some months to wait. this last quarter of the year might become like the last quarter of 2017 where we experienced a Bull run in late December that year. there's no need to praise that guy for what he had predicted since everything he said was most likely to happen this year.

Let them do what they want and it doesn't really matter whether the country allows it or not, Bitcoin price will keep rising without their contribution. If they banned it again, they will make some history where a country has lifted its banned on bitcoin and banned it again for some particular reasons. Now that the price is flourishing in the market even though we have a pandemic, India's banning bitcoin will not really affect the market in a big way. maybe the price will fall but it will continue to rise after that.

Looks like crypto users became the main target of scammers and with all these tools sold on the dark web it's not that hard to set up a phishing website.
You don't have to be a hacker or have any technical knowledge.
Lobsterpot Method, I think this is the most used method by phishers when targeting crypto users. Almost every known exchange or web wallet have hundreds of fake clones.
I don't think key-loggers fall under the phishing category though.
Some of them are free and usually that clickbait on some social media is using some of these tools to hack the account of noob users. Most of the users fell into this trap before but most of these tools are now blocked in Facebook. But as the OP stated, more kinds of phishing will be created and we must all aware about how this kind of thing works. no matter how complex our passwords are, if we fell to their trap they are one step ahead to stole our accounts. That's why using some authenticators will also help us because even though they got our passwords, they need to have a second method to access to our accounts which is next to impossible. |

This is not a new scenario for us since we have experienced such trends that will be followed by exit scams since they were flourishing in the market these few months. Anyway, we need to be vigilant about this new trend because like the past trend namely ICO and IEO, the scammers will make some use of this one and they will make it as legit as the real one. We cannot change the fact that we are going to have this Defi trend for a while but we need to consider doing our own research before stepping unto investing in any of them.
