5461  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Held a bitcoin seminar today on: January 26, 2020, 07:15:59 AM
Looking on those images and on their faces seems like they are really interested in Bitcoin, I'm glad about that. Keep up the good work!

Maybe can you share for us how the seminar went? Like the topics, you gave to them and some questions and answers, that would be appreciated especially on someone who is planning to do also some seminar like that (like me).

Starting a seminar with a small group of people is good especially if your listeners are interested and willing to learn about Bitcoin.
5462  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Can you guys identify Whale move? on: January 26, 2020, 07:05:40 AM
Whale Alert is the best way to get the latest update on a large amount transfer. They tweet about most of the top alts too. They even have their API's if you are a developer and creating your own bots.  Wink
I think what's OP need is whale move on some exchanges which that twitter bot (Whale Alert) is impossible to track, since that twitter bot (Whale Alert) is only focusing on transaction happened on some blockchain network, like in Bitcoin network transfer from some bitcoin address to another address with some specific amount of being transferred.

But this is also good especially if there are some huge amounts being transferred from an unknown wallet to some exchange wallet, then it's possible that users who transfer the cryptocurrency in the exchange's address has something to do with, like selling it or use it to buy some cryptocurrency or just kidding, like to troll or whatsoever, we still don't know what is their motive.
5463  Economy / Speculation / Re: Corona Virus will Impact the price of Bitcoin ? on: January 26, 2020, 07:00:28 AM
What comes into my mind is, people will start to use more on online transactions because they are afraid to go out, like go to banks personally and do some transactions and Bitcoin will help like that.
People will start to buy Bitcoin and use that to do some online payments or transactions for buying some goods or services.
And also the worst-case and I am not wishing it to happen that what if some people who become positive in Corona Virus died and they have owned Bitcoin on their personal Bitcoin wallet, and that person only the one who knows the private keys of that Bitcoin wallet.
So, another Bitcoin will become not use and that probably has an effect on the supply which those bitcoins will not able to use again.

But overall, I am not wishing to have much worst case of this virus, hoping it will end as soon as possible.
5464  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Poll for favourite cryptos used on Gambling. on: January 26, 2020, 02:18:38 AM
Majority Bitcoin for sure.
Most of the gambling websites were started to accept Bitcoin only and since Bitcoin is the highest market capitulation.
I think those other cryptocurrency listed in the choices are good in terms of for every bet you made you make a transaction then transaction fees come in.
But when you do deposit first on the gambling site, Bitcoin is good for me but if they have some other option and you have that cryptocurrency then use it since it's much better to lose those altcoins in gambling than Bitcoin  Cheesy

First, welcome to trading world.
Trading is risky, I think you already aware of that?
Before you execute your first trade, you should now first some basic fundamentals of trading just like support & resistance, etc.
And learn first how to use stoploss, stoploss is one of the best weapon in trading, believe me and have stoploss everytime when you do trade.

Beermen ready for PH Cup challengers
I'm glad that coach Austria consider Gins as a strong team, both teams will have a good chance to play in the finals this coming all Filipino cup, what they need to do is just to finish either 1st and 2nd, and win every matches so they will face in the Finals.
This ALL FILIPINO conference will be also exciting since we will able to see some actions with local players only.
Speaking of Baranggay Ginebra as a strong team, I don't really think if they will able to get another ring for this ALL-FILIPINO conference. If I would choose between San Miguel Beermen against Baranggay Ginebra, I'll go with San Miguel Beermen.
Hoping to see some new faces on finals this ALL-FILIPINO cup, like new teams in the championship, no more Baranggay Ginebra or San Miguel Beermen, in short, San Miguel products  Cheesy Grin
5468  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Conquering the impossible on: January 24, 2020, 07:29:19 AM
Posts like this have seriously just became merit bait now.
Hmmm. Maybe? Since there are some posts already that also about this before and getting such merits. But I think it is much better than getting merits by begging or getting such merits by buying/trading or from shit posts.
While he/she is thankful and grateful for what he/she achievements. That kind of post could have also become an inspiration for others, especially for beginners who are new in this forum.
Just ignore or don't give it merit if you don't like it.
5469  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto Exchanges that Don't Charge Listing Fees? on: January 24, 2020, 07:21:44 AM
Kinda difficult to find one, and as what I read on the OP and it seems really the reality of cryptocurrency now, which is dominated by the centralized exchange.
The difficult part on these are those altcoin projects that are totally quality one and they have really useful uses and purposes but they have a lack of funds to be in some exchanges. Trading volume is really important for such cryptocurrency nowadays and it also describes the popularity of the altcoin unless it is manipulated.

I don't even know if even how quality your project is, still you need money to be listed on such a centralized exchange which is a sad reality.
5470  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Stop Loss, A life saver or a evil? on: January 24, 2020, 03:56:07 AM
It's just depend on how we use it, for me ppersonally it helped a lot with my trading style, i always place a stop loss whenever i entered a trade because i won't waste my time holding coins that already crashed. it's just the same with a knife, people could do cut fruits with it but they also could but their fingers by doing it.
Its a literally a must stop loss will help us going back to trade even we loss some amount because of it what matters is we protect our capital to be in a huge loss. We can trade in other day or week if we want to and recover that loss a proper setting of stop loss will save our emotions and capital. Its not an evil you just need to know where to place it with a risk management.
This is exactly important! There are lot of new people start to trade but they still don't know how to use stop-loss and they believe that their trades are always correct or will go to their take profits area or target price.

Well, a lot of trading experience this that STOP LOSS is not important (especially me before when I started to trade). At the end of the day, they will realize how stop-loss is really important, especially when you are doing margin trading or those trades that have leverage.
5471  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are the ways i can cash out Bitcoin in another country? on: January 24, 2020, 03:12:07 AM
Another thing is; if ever in which country you are and suddenly decided to cash out your Bitcoin or convert it to their national fiat currency BUT they don't do it.
You can do; if there are other people you know from another country which selling Bitcoin to their national currency is easy, just here in the Philippines, you can send your Bitcoin their and tell him to convert your Bitcoin to their national fiat currency and that fiat currency will be sent to you may be via bank transfer or any money remittance.

This is quite difficult but for me, it is safe, just be sure you know the person or he/she is trusted who you sending your Bitcoins
5472  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Casimero Bantamweight Unification Fight on: January 24, 2020, 01:22:28 AM
V.S.
Boxing records check for John Riel Casimero and Naoya Inoue;
John Riel Casimero has totally the advantage of boxing records with 29-4-0.
The only advantage of Naoya Inoue here is he is still undefeated. This is probably the biggest advantage of Naoya Inoue against John Riel Casimero, since having 0 loss is very important and inspiring.
Reach and height is also favor of Naoya Inoue, hmmmm. Seems like we will see a nice odds for this match. Looking forward to a better odds here.
5473  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Poll - How did you find out about Bitcointalk? on: January 23, 2020, 06:54:18 AM
(....)
What was the reference driver (source, not motive) that drove you to Bitcointalk?
I remember around the year 2017 which I have this random guy in one of the social media I have which we become close since he is also into Bitcoin that year and he already has an account here, don't know who he is here, but I'm really thankful for his advice about this forum.
Although I am not really into some internet forums, few forums I already joined but they are not about cryptocurrency. That time I already have some knowledge like what is thread, section or whatsoever.

At first, there is a lot of curiosity of mine in this forum because some people told me that on this forum, you can easily earn cryptocurrency like Bitcoin so I started to browse the forum and found out that there are a lot of things that other forum doesn't have like earning cryptocurrency/money while learning about Bitcoin and making conversation with other people.
But overall, a lot of new learnings I discovered on this forum.
5474  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What Cryptocurrency YouTubers do you follow? on: January 23, 2020, 06:47:17 AM
Speaking of Cryptocurrency Youtubers which most of them are shitcoin shillers.
For me, for sure there are 6/10 cryptocurrency Youtubers that are shitcoin shillers or manipulated by some altcoins who just want publicity to get and scam some people's money, there are a lot of them.

But there are some Youtubers there that are doing quality content and teaching the viewers how to avoid shitcoins and keep away to scammers.
Recently, I just watched some videos and become one of the subscribers of Chico Crypto, which some of his content is quite good and really helpful, some of his content is also paid by other cryptocurrency projects which he is mentioning it once it is paid or not.
5475  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Advantages of having an account on bitcointalk on: January 23, 2020, 05:54:23 AM
For me, before having an account on Bitcoin, I joined in a lot of High-Yield Investment Program (HYIP) before which I just saw on some random social media accounts or different internet forum and hell yeah, I've been scammed for multiple times and tons of my bitcoins lost.

But when I started my account here, a lot of new things enlightened me. Just like to know and spot some shitcoin projects or even some High-Yield Investment Program (HYIP) which is purely a scam. Bitcointlak forum is one of my training ground, not only in cryptocurrency.

People, stop fighting. Make love, not war. Boxing is dangerous. Swimming is more healthy.

this is for Fun and not for anything else,be like a man.
People, stop fighting. Make love, not war. Boxing is dangerous. Swimming is more healthy.
This can be said of many sports like Rugby American Football and mma
(...)
Hahahaha, I think he/she is just trolling or maybe really don't want boxing and have some problem with sports that is about hurting each other just like boxing, which is more on direct contact with opponent.

By the way, here's the odds of Danny Garcia Vs. Ivan Redkach on stakes.com sports. The odds has really huge gap and I seems like no one want to bet on Ivan Redkach. You think guys this odds will change before the fight? Like we can see some even 60-40 odds.
5477  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Python Scripts for Binance Market Data on: January 22, 2020, 11:48:50 PM
I checked the article and quite good and friendly tutorial since I have some knowledge on Python.
But for sure there are some people will find this a difficult to understand especially those people who are not so techy  or don't have any ideas on any programming languages.

For me, this is helpful for gathering data for trading especially studying the volume of some pair on Binance and good choice of Exchange since as you said in the article, Binance is one of the famous exchange now and probably have a quite huge trading volumes.
5478  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Lomachenko vs. Teofimo Lopez Lightweight Unification fight on: January 22, 2020, 11:38:16 PM
Teofimo Lopez got the advantage for me, the height and reach js on favon Teofimo Lopez and boxing records too; still Teofimo Lopez got no lost on his entire boxing professional career.
Even one of the IBF lightweight champion Tyson Fury said that Teofimo Lopez can beat Vasiliy Lomachenko on this fight. Tyson Fury is rooting for Teofimo Lopez for this fight against Vasiliy Lomachenko.
He once said that here;
‘Lomachenko CAN’T beat Teofimo Lopez’ – Tyson Fury
5479  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin a Safe Haven for Your Money? on: January 22, 2020, 11:25:40 PM
I read the article and seems not so detailed.
But here's what I can say; Bitcoin is not safe haven for my money.
Because I do believe the risk when I started to buy Bitcoins and store it for long term.
Although I already know the risks, I am still supporting Bitcoin, why? Because I am not just totally into the money will return of Bitcoin, but it's also for innovation or technology behind Bitcoin.
5480  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Garcia vs Redkach on: January 22, 2020, 11:19:55 PM
.
Boxing Records for these two great boxers.
Danny Garcia has the advantage on the professional records while the height and reach is favor on Ivan Redkach.
There could be a chance for Ivan Redkach to dominate the fight.
But Danny Garcia is totally beast boxer and even on the sportsbet the odds is extremely high for Danny Garcia.
Looking forward for more odds changes  tomorrow.
