5461  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 5 Easy Ways to Improve Your Cryptocurrency Trading Profits on: January 18, 2020, 01:01:08 PM
When it comes to cryptocurrency trading, skill, luck, and excellent timing are crucial to turning a regular profit.
(...)
I don't think so if luck is really need on trading because I do believe trading is not pure luck, like a dice gambling.
But this is just for my opinion. Lot of successful traders out there are become owning on trading because they learn a lot and love what they do and for sure they are not relying on luck.
That's why we should not stop learning especially in trading which is very risky.
5462  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: January 18, 2020, 12:50:39 PM
I'm thankful that I didn't bet on that Game 5 for Meralco Bolts since I am just planning if Meralco Bolts won the Game 5, that's the time I will betting on Game 6 for Meralco Bolts, but suddenly it' sover now.

Btw, I think it's time to close this thread since the tournament  is already done, and we should wait or create another thread for next conference which is all-filipino team.
5463  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Things needed for people getting started with crypto on: January 17, 2020, 10:28:02 AM
Buying bitcoin is the way people enter into the crypto so actually begin with nothing.
(...)
Exactly. Learning first about cryptocurrency would be the best option before owning/buying a few bitcoins or any other currencies. Because as we all know, cryptocurrencies are much volatile so, it's much riskier to a newbie after buying some cryptocurrency or bitcoin and volatility happens, like a huge massive dump, much stress on the newbie for sure.
But I think what OP wants to say is, some people become much interested in things that they own or they want to be own, so having them at first could help them to learn more about that thing and become more curious.
5464  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can Altcoin Price Be Good In 2020 ؟ Is it true? on: January 17, 2020, 10:21:48 AM
After what I experienced in 2017 - 2018, the rise of altcoin and fall of altcoins after 2018-2019.
I remember those days when the Bitcoin Dominance dropped and a boom lot of altcoins are pumping, most are shitcoins, especially on the ICO fever around 2017- 2018. But everyone has a limit and comes to an end.

After those experiences, I am not expecting again those kinds of pumping (Bitcoin value) on altcoins on this year 2020, especially now, look at the Bitcoin Dominance, no sign of reversal, most of the altcoins are dumped in Bitcoin value.
I am now relieved after I converted all my altcoins to Bitcoin for almost a year now.
5465  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: January 17, 2020, 10:14:25 AM

Odds update few minutes before the Game 5 starts;
Quite good odds for Meralco Bolts but for this game 5, I'll skip betting first just what I did on Game 4. Since I am for Meralco Bolts for this championship. After watching Raymond Almazan his plays on Game 4 after his injury, he still having a hard time on Game 4, but for sure he already ready for tonight's game and did some practice after their loss on game 4 without any injury feeling anymore.
Game 6 would be more much exciting if ever Meralco Bolts will win tonight. Good luck to all  Cheesy
5466  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Sell anything on your website! Autopay! on: January 17, 2020, 01:19:50 AM
I think you are in the wrong section for your thread, and I think under Marketplace is the right place for this thread. If you don't know how to move this topic or thread, you can see it at the lower-left corner of your thread.
I tried to explore the website, and I think it's pretty nice and best to sell here is some content, especially blog content just what you said and in the attached picture, thanks for sharing this. I am just not comfortable using some third party processor for payment just like BitPay.
5467  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Bakit wala tayong kadala dala kahit na paulit ulit tayong bumabagsak on: January 17, 2020, 01:04:36 AM
5468  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Don't be a victim of second scam. on: January 16, 2020, 09:18:17 AM
Various offers like these can be seen on email,
There is an option called Gmail Promotion where different organizations send similar fund recovery offers.
I don't know how they get everyone's email address.
It probably comes from some sources who have some list of email addresses from other people like if you are here before around bull run 2017-2018, tons of airdrops with some shitcoins, to participate there you just need to fill up some forms or sign up in just websites and your in.
Thru that for sure they already have your email addresses, most of those email for sure are related to cryptocurrency since it is coming from here, that's very alarming before, different airdrops popping and for sure some of them are just farming email addresses and sell or use it to some illegal things.
Or it's probably a random email address and they will send their e-mail to those random addresses they generated.
5469  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Bamboo (BBO) - Plagiarized Whitepaper on: January 16, 2020, 07:23:34 AM
Let's see who opposes the flag apart from bamboo.io
AltairBetelgaize account with two posts, both shilling for 7 seconds...which is a dead project (website,fb) eveything is deleted
museakira78 who is also an account used for shilling projects like diamtoken, guess what...fb, twitter again deleted, token is dead with no transactions for almost 200 days...
Coincidence? Maybe...Probably it was a coincidence that the other projects had also a huge team with same little info about them.....coincidence lets say
But I already supported the flag when this topic was bumped (prior to looking at who opposes it) and I'm not going to change my opinion.
museakira78 and patrickmakdn doing +/- daily bump in bamboo ANN using identical style of posting.
Watching his ANN, also I am sure that flags need to stay on.
ANN bumping almost everyday.
museakira78 is probably one of their dummy accounts or other people paid for ANN bumping and which also leaves some positive feedback on the bamboo.io account which also had a weird reason.

The account accused did some Personal Message me for past and there is new account sent me a PM, which is bizfyn_ru.
I think it is much better if they will post it here in the accusation thread to make clearer for the public, not by sending us some personal messages.

5470  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: token supply on: January 16, 2020, 01:40:21 AM
In many cases, burning tokens can help stabilize a coin's value and curb potential price inflation. The stability gives investors a greater incentive to hold the coins and keeps prices at more favorable rates, which therefore keeps network uptime and bandwidth healthy.[1]
So for me, burning some tokens from the supply is quite good to help the coin's value itself, but there is some cryptocurrency that is burning some tokens with a small amount and you can't really feel the effect of it to the value of the coin. That's why some people are expecting once there are token burnings they started to think that the price or value of the coin will surge high or pump. There's lot of them, most are shitcoins and just making easy money from people, through manipulations.

5471  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: January 16, 2020, 01:24:36 AM
Almazan's production was ok, it's the three point shooting that is abandoning the Bolts. They are are shooting just above 10 percent on that area. They are small compare to the squad of Ginebra so they should improve the percentage on 3's if they want to extend this series to game 7.

Maliksi has not really have contributed this series, he should be a factor since he got the height to defend the wing men of the Kings.

Exactly, that's sad for the Meralco Bolts. Almazan still has some fatigue factors during Game 4.
Speaking of the 3 points shooting, here's the comparison; 31% for Baranggay Ginebra and 11% only for Meralco Bolts. That's quite disappointed for Meralco Bolts, they have a lot of misses on three points but their rebounds are almost the same, they lack 3 pointers, Maliksi should able to do that but not lucky though. If Jackson or Salva will be in, their defense will be lack, but offensive for sure is kinda strong.
5472  Economy / Exchanges / Re: which is the best platform to invest in bitcoin using dollar cost averaging DCA? on: January 15, 2020, 01:00:51 PM
When doing Dollar Cost Averaging (DCA), I think it is also much better to withdraw your bought Bitcoins after buying, storing it on exchange for me is not safe at all especially you doing Dollar Cost Averaging (DCA) which is probably a long term before selling it.
So for me, select an exchange that has also less withdrawal fee besides an exchange with low transaction fees for every trade you made.
Also, the KYC problems, avoid them. Try Binance or Coinbase.
5473  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Binance going to list BSV again after skyrocketing price? on: January 15, 2020, 12:28:42 PM
Probably not. I have never seen a market, that delisted coins officially announced and re-listed again in the market such as binance especially BSV, most likely this will end up scam because the pump price in 24 hours is very unnatural. if within 24 hours can go up more than 80%, it is most likely next week or next month can go down to 120%, the bubble burst.
Exactly, i also never seen exchange re-listed delisted coin before. Pump which happened on 24 hours also won't make any difference to get that coin re-listed. We also have seen many times BSV got pumped
That's become almost normal for every coin out there after delisting, few pumps and after how many days, boom! getting off the floor. I don't know why maybe pure manipulation?
Look, Bitcon SV started to surpass Bitcoin cash;
Bitcoin SV now is currently on the 4th largest market capitalization, which Bitcoin Cash now is the 5th, that's hilarious.
For sure, there are some people behind this huge pump for Bitcoin SV.

5474  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: 🌍[Gabay]Pigilan ang scam! Mahalagang tool sa paghanap ng scam / pekeng ICO team on: January 15, 2020, 12:08:42 PM
Speaking of ICO, buhay pa pala yan hanggang ngayon? hahaha Cheesy, just reminiscing the past (glory days) especially yung ICO fever 2017-2018 and boom almost lahat ng ICO are scams or tuloyang naging scam at namaalam na.

Gusto ko din e share ito: https://www.whois.net/
Makakatulong yan para sa pag explore ng domain nila like kung saang registrar sila under at kung kelan sila nag register ng domain nila at expiration, bakit posibling makakatulong ito?
Dahil jan, posibiling malaman mo yung country registered ang domain or kanino ba under like name ng tao or company, something ganyan, pero some people are putting some fake data jan or private, kaya wag mo lng gaano asahan yan.
5475  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you like cats? Here you can do something good! on: January 15, 2020, 12:01:48 PM
Those pages are not found, I can't access the page, it says Page not found.
Btw, that is a good initiation from you. Helping such a charity organization is good even it's not about some human organization, but it is animals. Animals have also lived, and they also need to be treated just like a human.

Btw, is that animal charity organization is accepting cryptocurrency just like Bitcoin? I hope they do and for sure there are some people are willing to donate some amount to support that charity organization.
5476  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: BTC Futures Manipulation on: January 15, 2020, 11:43:56 AM

Is this illegal in any way at this point in time? And if this is legal , Whats to stop people with lots of money to do this?
Is this why the price of BTC is down because there are people doing this?
And if this is the case , how can we stop people from doing this or is there no other way around this?
1.) It is illegal I think once the owner or company under that exchange is something connected to doing those actions.
2.) I don't think so, there are lot of factors why BTC is dumping/pumping, like some ETF things, exchanges hacks or manipulations just like what you said with some big players with also have huge money.
3.) For me, stop supporting those kinds of exchange and start learning or use some decentralized exchange. And for me, NOT DOING TRADING is good.

Big whale can manipulate coin price easily especially during non peak period eg. holiday season (....)
I'm curious why the whales is determinated midnight while cryptocurrency is worldwide and the users are coming from different timezone Cheesy
I think they will pump it on random time, (....)
Exactly! You just need tons of money to do that, but I don't think so if you can really do it on the futures market, it's difficult especially you are trading contracts. And that's also applicable in some exchanges with low volumes, or a trading pair with low volume.
5477  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Promote Bitcoin..... It is for "us" on: January 15, 2020, 01:28:15 AM
I dont think we still need to promote it. There are many services that you can use Bitcoin even paying your bills right now depends on the country  and they are many online store accepting bitcoin mode as payment . What kind of advertisment you still want to see?
I think it is more on adoption, the more people will know Bitcoin, the more people will use it.
But for me, as time goes by, Bitcoin is spreading, day by day, there are new people being introduced to Bitcoin.

For my experience with this, asking some people or entities if they accept Bitcoin for their products or services is also one of the best ways of promoting Bitcoin.
Why? Because in that way, they will become curious about Bitcoin (if they don't know what is that thing), so that's the start of the story.
There are a lot of ways to promote Bitcoin like also holding some amount of Bitcoin is party promoting Bitcoin.

5478  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When trading, never ignore the statoshi value of your coins on: January 14, 2020, 03:21:30 PM
I am just much concern based on what I use as pair on Trading.
Like I have USD and decided to trade it with pair BTC-ETH, so before I can trade on that pair, I'll need to exchange my USD to BTC/ETH first.

But in that case, you will not really feel it if you are winning in your trades based on BTC pairs. But it also depends on how much the price of Bitcoin changed.

There are times especially when you are lost some in trading, that in your mind: "Much better if I never traded, and I just hold my BTC for more USD value of it".
5479  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: January 14, 2020, 01:06:35 AM

Said by their own coach: Norman Black from this article : Almazan's status day to day
But he still positive for Raymond Almazan recovery, we have 1 day more.

What do you think everyone? Almazan can make to game 4 and let the Meralco Bolts ties the series?
Japhet Aguilar is dominating without Raymond Almazan a 6"8 footer center, even Cliff Hodge can't controll it.
5480  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Don't be a victim of second scam. on: January 13, 2020, 11:57:07 PM
Just remind you again, always keep in mind that "crypto-currency is irreversible" any organisations can't help you to get back your fund. If you were scammed from gambling or whatever sites, just share with community so everyone would able to avoid. But don't hire so called fund recovery services to get back your scammed amount.
(...)
I remember before when we have our school activity and we are required to do some tech talks about different technologies and my topic was Why Bitcoin transactions are irreversible?
I was clearly explained about this on my classmates and teacher, especially when you got scammed or you sent your bitcoin to a wrong address and how can they be aware.
Well, thanks for this, hope everyone will learn and know about this.
