It was really shocking as people were unaware with the consequences if they they opted to leave or remain in the European Union. I think government failed to provide proper information to the citizens and which was really required. The decision has been made now and it will be really interesting to see what will be impact of this historic development.

I think a lot of people were aware of the consequences, that is why it was such a close vote. To be fair, the EU has had it's fair share of screw ups - Greece and the current immigration crisis are far from solved.

The trouble is when you are doing so well as a country, a lot of people want to move in. This is fine for a little while, but a constant inward migration will cause a lot of problems - traffic, lack of housing, public services struggling to cope. You could say this is unfair to the generations that have lived there before.

Freedom of movement can only work when the outer layer is strictly controlled and everywhere within has equalized so there is no strain on one area. There is a finite amount of land and shared resources, when you start to abuse or overuse them it can quickly drag society down.

When you hear stories of massive upheaval of European MP's travelling between Brussels and Strasbourg each year, it is really disconcerting that EU MP's are getting free reign to waste away people's money and are basically unaccountable.

The British agriculture is mostly dead. The sector employs just around 1.5% of the British workforce, and this proportion has been going down for the past many years. The agricultural production is on the decline, as GM products from the US are flooding the local markets. Still... the Brexit referendum will have no effect on trade with the US.

That's a false premise really, as that 1.50% workforce generates around 60% of the food consumed in the UK for a year. All that number represents is that farming and agricultural practises are very efficient that you need to employ so few people in the sector - but you're still talking hundreds of thousands of people. Agricultural may very well be on the decline, but that is because so many fields are being consumed by the current housing and population boom.
5463  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Shameless Erdoğan forced to apologize to Putin on: June 27, 2016, 05:16:46 PM
Russia is not guilt free in this situation, they are only propping up Assad to retain their Mediterranean base and try to poke around in the Middle East. In the same situation, if a foreign jet buzzed into and out of Russian airspace, they would likely be shot down too. There is no need to probe your neighbours airspace and it is a very aggressive act. That said, Erdogan is just floating along with whoever will progress his religious agenda.

I was looking for a few a while back - up to 50 as long as the price is right
5465  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Any EU laws regulating the sale of funded physical bitcoin? on: June 27, 2016, 06:27:34 AM
I'm not sure about the laws around it, but there is at least one coin producer in Europe that managed to release some - the user "gravitate" is probably able to help you most. I'd say of all the methods to launder money, low denomination physical bitcoins are the least of the authorities problems. 10 BTC might be pushing it though and I doubt few people here would invest that much (especially in a new coin maker)
5466  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The 2nd referendum “petition” is wide open to fraud on: June 26, 2016, 04:40:17 PM
I dont get it how could the illuminati failed to manipulate the first referendum Huh

I knew never trust reptilians to do a job that you can do yourself! Angry

Oh man, you are a bit screwed in the head, why do you have to fit reptillians and illuminati into every post? You know everyone is ignoring your petty conspiracy thoughts?

Once you are all set up it should be possible to publish new posts from a phone, but you'll need to design and tweak the interface using a PC if you want it to look good. You can set up posts to be released on certain days, but you definitely want to write them yourself and not rely on computer generated content.
Do you know which part should I start? I mean which domain provider and hosting should I use? Should I purchase or should I first create a free one?

I think you should avoid anyone offering "free" stuff like domains and hosting, because they usually lock you in and make it super expensive to get out later. I use Godaddy, Name.com and Namecheap. Godaddy will probably be the cheapest option, they usually do discounts so you might pick up a domain for $10. I personally have hosting with hivelocity and knownhost.com, but they have quite expensive hosting plans that you may not need when just starting out. You should not buy a domain and hosting at the same place.

I would say Donald Trump is worse, but he hasn't been in power yet and Erdogan seems to be leading Turkey back to the dark ages by replacing secular laws with religion.
5470  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Google proves Brexit is just a dumb and emotional action on: June 26, 2016, 12:01:24 PM
Enough with the fear mongering, I'm getting pretty sick of it now, especially with the fact that the media seem to be collectively denying my existence by claiming young people only voted remain. I knew full well the political and economic ramifications of a Leave vote and that's precisely why I voted for it, in the long run the UK is going to be better off especially compared to Europe and we will have ended the stranglehold the EU has on this continent. The fact that you two in particular are out spamming this shit is particularly obnoxious and arrogant, why the fuck can't you just accept the results? It's ridiculous because I just know that if remain had won you'd all be telling me to fuck off if I complained the way you are.

I have no problem accepting the results, but the leave vote never had a plan for afterwards. Businesses are already starting to leave, it has divisively split the UK, France will stop processing immigrants in Calais - I don't see the leave campaign offering any solutions to these problems, but sticking their fingers in their ears shouting "la la la, it'll be alright". You should be afraid because we're holding a grenade and the pin fell out.
5471  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Google proves Brexit is just a dumb and emotional action on: June 26, 2016, 11:22:10 AM
I do agree, a lot of people did not have a clue about the scale and economics involved in what they were voting against. It came down to a "dem stoopid foreigners must pay" mentality. You should be careful not to lump them all together as it was a very close result - 16million wanted to remain, 17 million wanted to leave. British politicians were arrogant and didn't put in any thresholds like 75% of the population must vote or the leave vote must achieve at least 60%. Unfortunately it means around half the population will not be happy with the result
5472  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Spain calls for co-sovereignty on Gibraltar on: June 26, 2016, 11:13:28 AM
No difference to the British? Damn I thought British had better military advisor than that xD

The point being made, which is obviously too much for your brain to handle, is that it doesn't matter whether you fight one person or a hundred, if what you are fighting for is what is right. There is never going to be a fight so all this talk is meaningless.
5473  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Boris Johnson must give up his US citizenship now on: June 26, 2016, 11:08:25 AM
I never knew this.. Do you have some examples of where Boris Johnson has said he has dual nationality? I can believe it, but evidence always helps.

And to the guy above who said you "can't just give up your US citizenship". Yes you can, just get dual nationality and then you can renounce your US citizenship. I hate how America is one of the only countries who taxes it's citizens no matter where they live - so they end up getting taxed twice.
5474  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Spain calls for co-sovereignty on Gibraltar on: June 26, 2016, 10:22:00 AM

Can't anyone understand that any agression towards Spain wouldn't result in a Spain - UK conflict but in a EU - UK conflict. And EU has nuclear power and doesn't need USA agreements to use it.

You are always implying that the UK would be the aggressor here when Spain is trying to steal land. Gibraltor has been under British rule for a long time and have actively warned off Spanish attempts to interfere. The Spanish are in no position to talk - they refuse to cede territory back to Morocco which defies their "territorial integrity" angle that they are so fond of using. Spain vs UK, EU vs UK.. makes no difference to the British but it's never going to happen. If you really think France is going to start dropping nuclear bombs on the UK, you are delusional.
5475  Economy / Collectibles / Re: WTB Graded (MB 65+) for under $50? on: June 26, 2016, 09:06:37 AM
the Grading along is around 20$
so we are talking about 25$ coins to keep it under 50

Sounds about right unless someones got a superb deal

Considering most buyers would be looking for a loaded coin and the lowest denomination around is 0.01 you can knock off another $6. So you're effectively looking for coins that cost less than $19 to produce. I haven't seen any coins released around that price point for a long time. You'd be much better off trying to snag a non-graded coin and sending it in to ANACs yourself, it's very likely that you'll hit M65+ on any coin sent in if it's unredeemed.
5476  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The FTSE after Brexit on: June 26, 2016, 08:42:27 AM
What are you seeing, because it looks like business as usual after a 3 day rollercoaster? I'll agree that the UK will suffer because they voted like fools, but that graph looks pretty much stable with a similar start and the end. You've posted a graph but avoided actually saying anything meaningful, do you think it is good or bad?
5477  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Spain calls for co-sovereignty on Gibraltar on: June 26, 2016, 08:31:42 AM
Nothing is going to happen to Gibraltor. Even if we leave the EU - we are still friends and will continue to trade with these countries. Gibraltor has always been a source of friction between Spain and the UK, but even if it meant fighting all of Europe, it's not joining Spain unless the people voted for it. This means, if someone invaded Gibraltor (a hostile act) then a hostile act would return it to the UK. No nukes need to be involved. Calm down guys.

You know who else takes over countries that didn't want it? Dictatorships. So if you want to prove that the EU is everything that the British people voted against, go for it.
5478  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Fiverr now a scam site.Be Careful depositing bitcoin on fiverr on: June 26, 2016, 08:17:02 AM
They probably do have bad support, I've used paypal to buy a lot of gigs through fiverr in the past and there is no reason for them to turn into a scam. The staff behind the scenes will naturally be more comfortable with resolving straight forward paypal transactions but a lot of them might not have the technical abilities to verify a bitcoin transaction. 72 hours is a long time though and it would definitely be frustrating to receive no reply.
5479  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTS] LuckyBit rose gold plated wallets LOWERED PRICE! on: June 26, 2016, 08:10:21 AM
It kind of sucks for the people who bought from you early and effectively took the biggest leap to support you - that you are making these, fairly large (35% off) reductions to the price now. It's effectively devaluing the amount we sent you and could cause some regrets.

Is this your account or where did you get it from? Lots of scammers have sold other peoples accounts before so buyer must always beware
