Now you're just Trolling us @marlboroza

You got that part right:

[quote author=marlboroza link=topic=2544574.msg51664554#msg51664554 date=1561931388]
This is not charity organization (I didn't check
[/quote]

https://archive.org/

Three clicks later:

https://help.archive.org/hc/en-us/articles/360004716051-Internet-Archive-General-Information

Then there's this:

[quote author=Avirunes link=topic=2544574.msg50465425#msg50465425 date=1554430883]
[quote author=Timelord2067 link=topic=2544574.msg50465035#msg50465035 date=1554426617]
Just a quick update:

the website https://archive.today/ seems to be down at the moment - anyone needing archive services can also use: https://web.archive.org/ and enter your intended URL in the Save Page Now box at right of screen.

[/quote]

Then there is archive.is and archive.fo as well. I am sure there are more like this but at the moment know only these two.

Also I don't know who had the access to previous donation address but it would be great if you change it to a new one since they are inactive now.
I also am not sure what they had in mind about donation but it would be great if these donations are sent to tools we use on general like walletexplorer.
[/quote]

https://www.walletexplorer.com/ is not a registered charity (I don't mind donating to them at a later date but @Marboroza demanded "charities") - I can't connect to archive.is - and haven't been able to for many months now, hence archive.org. (Hopefully @Avirunes is reading this)

So why are you Trolling us @Marlboroza?

You didn't respond when asked who to give funds to, nore did you respond when asked how much you think your former contributions are worth over all and to top it all off...

According to this impartial list that was made by @LoyceV your net contribution to the Mk I and Mk II threads was:

Mk I

Quote
1. 232x (Legendary) Timelord2067 (Trust: +5 / =1 / -1)  (234 Merit earned (history)) (BPIP)
9. 23x (Legendary) marlboroza (Trust: +11 / =0 / -0)  (970 Merit earned (history)) (BPIP)

Mk II

Quote
1. 236x (Legendary) Timelord2067 (Trust: +5 / =1 / -1)  (234 Merit earned (history)) (BPIP)
3. 101x (Legendary) marlboroza (Trust: +11 / =0 / -0)  (970 Merit earned (history)) (BPIP)

Even combining your post count you were at <20% of the total of my posts and in the Mk I thread you were 10% of my post count and you post infrequently here in the Mk III thread.  I think that given my overall post count is more than both of the two previous OP's clearly shows that I have an understanding of the "feel" of the thread...

Your 23 posts out of a total of 1,441 post is just 1.596113809854 % of the total posts (mine is 16.099930603747 %, but who's counting?  Roll Eyes )

1.596113809854 % of  BTC 0.017975 is (drum roll) BTC 0.00028690145732 which is worth at the moment

So, I'll ask again... given BTC 0.002 has already been donated in your name to five registered charities, where do you want your funds sent to?

Please fill out this form and post in this thread:

Code:
My name is: (please enter your real name, address and phone number so that a tax receipt can be issued - please note BY LAW most registered charities require this information otherwise they will not accept your donation)
My Registered Charity is: (name of registered charity)
My registered charities web address is: <URL>
My Registered Charities BitCoin donation wallet address is: (please enter the wallet address of the registered charity)
The web page that contains this information can be found here: <URL of the web page containing the wallet address of the registered charity>

please also fill out this form (and post in this thread together with your first form) and sign with your bitcoin wallet address that you have staked to ensure that your account has not been hacked and that I am not sending the funds to a registered charity against your wishes:

Code:
-----BEGIN BITCOIN SIGNED MESSAGE-----
I (insert your real name, address and phone number) who's BitCoinTalk alias is (insert your BCT name and UID)
respectfully ask that (amount of bitcoin to donate) being 100% of the funds that I am claiming, be sent to the following organisation (insert the name of the registered charity)
to the bitcoin wallet address (insert the bitcoin wallet address that the donation is to be sent to)
the TX fee that I would like to be deducted from this donation amount is (insert a number in multiples of one thousand satoshi's per kilo byte of data)
I understand that if the TX cost is greater than my claim then I abandon my claim over these donation funds and that in any event,
I make no further claim to funds donated to the Known Alts of any-one Mk I thread and that I humbly apologise for having waited more than two and a half years after the Mk I thread closed to make this claim.
-----BEGIN SIGNATURE-----
<insert address here>
<insert signature here>
-----END BITCOIN SIGNED MESSAGE-----

Removing or altering text outside of the brackets nuls and voids your claim and you will have to start again.

[quote author=marlboroza link=topic=2544574.msg51664554#msg51664554 date=1561931388]
I am not satisfied the way you handled funds so I have to break this for a moment.
[/quote]

and yet you gave my post merit...

So yes @marlboroza, you're just Trolling the [color=#0a80b1]Known Alts of any-one[/color] - [color=#f8ae23]A User Generated List[/color] [color=#c81c8f]Mk III thread.  Please stop.

Please advise repayment amount.

I'd get a loan from someone else or just wait a bit before testing LN, as I charge a 1 mBTC minimum which is very high compared to your 2 mBTC loan request.

That'll teach me not to read the fine print...  Embarrassed Thanks anyway.

Why don't you open a channel with LNchat's node? Wink I reboot the server manually once a week so the downtime is negligible.

5506  Economy / Lending / Re: Legendary LoyceV's Luscious, Loopy and Lip-smacking "Little Lightning Loans" on: June 30, 2019, 11:20:34 AM
It was night here, so your request expired (that's a serious shortcoming of using 6 hour expiration times on a global payment system!). But there's another problem: since last night, Eclair Wallet tells me there's a temporary node problem so I can't send anything. I'll wait if this gets resolved or I may need to force close the channel.

Update: I can send up to 4 satoshi, anything larger gives an error. I'm not sure why.

I've funded BlueWallet, it's now waiting for confirmation. It has an annoying bug on Android: when entering the BTC amount, the keyboard doesn't show a decimal dot. I had to copy/paste the amount to be able to send less than 1 Bitcoin.

Damm it! You were online a moment ago!

Code:
lnbc1pw339a4pp5k29mr7j4rqm8x3hk3xfzu2t9jxzvy9aldtskcxv65crfg5ja29sqdqqxqr4rqrzjqwryaup9lh50kkranzgcdnn2fgvx390wgj5jd07rwr3vxeje0glc7z89q5qqssqqqqqqqqlgqqqqqeqqjq5kp53erns9t04y2mewfgk8nyafknv06a0jeefv95ptyylj8eku3hzcddmzeyppgl4lrr2acz2euqs7g67c0nagxq4qalamgzt5h7hksqh43msl

My channel (Node) seems OK, I think I have worked out that funds get shuffled about when a node is created sometimes the other end gains funds but the actual balance is showing in your wallet (when in fact it's not).

I guess it's in anticipation of the funds going out that they are "parked" elsewhere.

I'd say the funds don't go to miners, but to the "nodes" carrying the signal.  I might investigate seeing if I can keep a couple of connections open.  With more channels open, I'd say more funds are parked elsewhere.  Strange setup.  Plus there doesn't seem to be any actual way to send my funds out, I have to wait for a funds request to come in.

No. No. No. Thank you for the suggestion, but no.  I thought we were just testing out the lightning network.

If you want to test it out without touching your mainnet coins then install Eclair Mobile Testnet, grab some free testnet coins and buy yourself a coffee via the Lightning Network.

Thanks for the faucet link - I'd lost it quite a long time ago (it was empty at the time)

Am trying it again: (main-net)

Hey there, I am looking to sell a few hundred dollars worth of BTC for Paypal. I am well aware of the risks associated with charge backs,  and am only looking to start small with hopefully some reputable members here. I am interested in ordering some items from Ebay, and would be looking to swap approximately $100-$300 every week or two. Escrow is always welcomed. Please post your telegram contact information if you'd like to speak further Smiley

Looking to purchase minimum blocks of 1000 BTC from wallets with less than 500 transactions. Will require satoshi to verify. Can purchase up to 75000 BTC.

BTC 1000 which is valued at is no small order.

BTC 75000 which is valued at is just a bridge too far.

I can only assume that Core.i7 has deleted his thread (in an attempt to cover up the ANN bumping service)... or it has been deleted by a moderator. Either way, I can't "support" the red trust based on the available evidence.

I thought we couldn't delete threads we started?  The currency exchange section is littered with threads titled "delete" or similar and the OP's post (only one usually) is something like "."

If there's a TESTNET version of eclair https://github.com/ACINQ/eclair-mobile/releases why aren't we using testnet bitcoins?
It's more fun to play with the real stuff Smiley

Can a new thread for TESTNET Bitcoin lightning be started to run in parallel to this thread?
I'm not doing it (and I'm not sure if it would be allowed on the Lending board), but feel free to create one.

If there's a TESTNET version of eclair https://github.com/ACINQ/eclair-mobile/releases why aren't we using testnet bitcoins?

Can a new thread for TESTNET Bitcoin lightning be started to run in parallel to this thread?

Don't get me wrong, I don't mind testing this out for you...

Bump! 10,000,000 milli-satoshis are waiting for a 7 day loan Cheesy

I'm just transferring some funds over - hopefully they won't take too long to arrive  Roll Eyes

I've already lost 66¢ by opening a channel (where my funds went I have no idea), so this is indeed a steep learning curve.

Code:
lnbc1pw3d2a3pp525tlssfzmtsaqqg26mampzz5k99snkkml8tjmqr5w268tu7vpnrsdq5235k6etvdaexgv3sxcmsxqr4rqtqadr90fkwu8wt7lfjw3yy68mufqyzkr4zs5sce8kdnscd78vd05auh7wvmre7nzuf723es0xfscxzqe77jjkz840k5h7lkwwddychqp5rt0uw

Open and closing channels are transactions... I sent to eclair with 3 sat/byte and create a channel with 13 sat/byte. Even with those relatively low w fees , this was quite expensive.

Opening a channel cost me 534 sats according to the TX or 5,340 sats on the eclair program, of which 0.00004060 BTC went to bc1qu6y02ypekdze9wrjhyma9eqkufnznzeu2x8et62umqe345uc06mqj3n3a4

5518  Economy / Reputation / Re: Known Alts of any-one - A User Generated List Mk III (2019 Q2) on: June 28, 2019, 04:09:54 PM
So anyways, @marlboroza can't even bother himself to respond to where he'd like his donation to a registered charity to go to... much less respond to how much he thinks his contributions are worth in terms of bitcoins...

Let's say he's worth as much as my contributions and the BTC 0.001 that I received in this transaction...

I've said I don't want any Known Alts donation funds, so I'll match marlboroza's donation with BTC 0.001 that I received that I'd like to return making BTC 0.002 to be donated to charities...

My own donation wallet address 1GaLLifreynEg6456XqDKYJYyBmyY2cJbw has a grand total of BTC 0.004 so I'll use those funds - BTC 0.002 mentioned above, plus BTC 0.001 to return to the Known Alts donation addresses listed in post four and in this post and the final BTC 0.001 (less various transaction fees) will going to fund my wallet to help test LoyceV's Legendary Little Lightning Loans

The five donations of BTC 0.0004 each were to:

Via this transaction https://www.blockchain.com/btc/tx/7039ed522eb79c75212395d873403d38b2847922c36e6cda8debb58040ab4213

@marlboroza You're a great guy - really ... you are... I wouldn't have given you fifteen of my hard earned merits if I didn't think you were worth it.  (more than 10% of all the merits I've earned the hard way - though posts of worth)

But they were hard earned each and every one of those 30 merits to then give to you.  You're on the merit-go-round handing out circle jerk merits for the most frivolous posts then want to climb onto your high horse and lecture the people doing the real work in this forum.  Take a look at the links to those charities.  There's real people out there who are hurting.

I really think you should refund me all thirty merits I earned to give to you and watch you squander.

Please keep your promise to never come back into this thread.

5520  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: [List] VanityGen Wallet Generation - threads, how to & links on: June 28, 2019, 02:16:04 PM
It's worth mentioning that VanitySearch than vanitygen is up to several times faster at finding private keys to vanity addresses:

On my Intel Core i7-4770, VanitySearch runs ~4 times faster than vanitygen64. (1.32 Mkey/s -> 5.27  MK/s)
On my  GeForce GTX 645, VanitySearch runs ~1.5 times faster than oclvanitygen. (9.26 Mkey/s -> 14.548 MK/s)

If you want to compare VanitySearch and Vanitygen result, use the -u option for searching uncompressed address.
VanitySearch may not compute a good gridsize for your GPU, so make several tries using -g options in order to find best performances.
Using compressed addresses is roughly 20% faster.

Hey thanks for the additional information - I'm looking forward to trying out the software sooner rather than later.  I vaguely recall being PM'ed about VanityGen Plus, but got bogged down with other stuff and let it slide.
