5521  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which alts to buy? on: January 29, 2019, 02:35:36 AM
For now, I urge you to go in for tron which is the leading market in the crypto verse at the moment. Tron has been one of the most successful coins in this year so I think going in for some won't be a bad idea.
Whatever you called that as a good coin and if the market still in the bearish trend and it will not work so well. Have you seen about how the fundamental of bitcoin was giving a huge domination to the whole of altcoin at this moment?
5522  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you manage your risks? on: January 27, 2019, 04:04:17 PM
I started trading every day, but honestly I did not like it, because I'm constantly somewhere stupid and only because of the great volatility of the market, I went to zero and left daily trading.

Of course, if you are not a professional trader, you can lose everything very quickly at the cryptocurrency market.
It seems to me that if there were a lot of experienced traders in the society of the cryptocurrency market, the market would have been in such a state as it is today. Most users of cryptocurrency are subject to panic and are afraid to risk their assets. Some generally discard coins for nothing.
Many of them are throwing their asset to the market when it gets a panic sell, so many newbies have been doing it from time to the time. They never realized if there was a way to be their alternative way rather than wasting all of their money to be loaded by the whales.
5523  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Time to buy? on: January 24, 2019, 12:34:48 PM
Do you think it's time to buy tokens now? the market seems quite low now, or should wait?
You should or just try to pick some altcoins which already reached its bottom price. Remember you should always try to diversify your amount. For me the market has reached the same thing like what has already happened in 2014 and 2015. Put some for long term will be a good idea.
5524  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should We Trust Blockchain ? on: January 22, 2019, 11:23:41 PM
A blockchain is a continuously growing, append-only, list of records called blocks or transaction secured by the cryptography which not hack-able. The exchange gets hacked due to security breaches in the codes. Exchange which uses hot wallets are prone to get hacked usually as compare to exchange which store cryptocurrencies in cold wallet.
As long as it's not getting 51% and the blockchain will fine and remember 51% is the only possible thing to create an attack to the blokchain itself.
Hot wallet doesn't have a lot of protection. It much better if the blockchain try to create such a decentralized wallet.
5525  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto currency unpredictability on: January 22, 2019, 11:19:00 PM
As far as I understand, there are still people in the market who understand how to properly use one or another chart and how to decipher it correctly. Because today it is really very interesting to watch this.
Of course there are such people, they work and earn good money, but they definitely do not sit in social networks and do not powder people's head with their pseudo market analysis
They are silent trader who only take care about any information and analysis regarding crypto and they follow their own analysis rather than believe in other person.
Not so many of them are joining in the social group.
5526  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing In ICO's vs Investing AFTER The ICO on: January 22, 2019, 11:16:52 PM

We are in a bear market and it takes longer for a coin to be profitable. The whole ICO and the listing  process is much longer then it was before. Many investors losing their patience and dumping their coins below ICO price. It is more beneficial not to invest during the ICO phase and buy coins on DEXes after listing.
That depends on how good the ico is. I have invested directly into zilliqa because i have known if that will worth a lot in the future, im not even regret because it has turned my money into more than 30x from the ico price and i have sold em all
5527  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XRP] Ripple Speculation on: January 21, 2019, 10:48:17 PM
ripple has a shot against ethereum but i doubt ethereum will fully goes down because maybe the whales out there were just toying with all the crypto people around. But, honestly speaking, ripple has a future and will always be behind bitcoin in the long run.
I think it is generally unwise to compare ether and ripple. These are completely different coins that perform completely different functions. I think that ripple, like ether, is one of the most promising altcoins today.
And the fact that even the most promising currencies will always be behind Bitcoin, I don't even question.

So, Bitcoin has huge advantage over both of them, something like Netscape over Internet Explorer and other minor browsers back then?
that's true but it looks like he was only seeing how useful the coin based on the how much marketcap that has already raised by each of coin.

Can someone tell me how much the remaining ripple coin that still hold by the team?
5528  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are the bear days over? on: January 21, 2019, 10:44:29 PM
The Crypto market is changing gear gradually.... Red to Green. Is it what am thinking?
It's not yet over and it continues to bring down all prices. This is totally bad market and I don't know if this will give us profits before the year end. Let's hope that this will end soon.
It seems like what you want may not yet be able to materialize well, the end of the year has passed and it seems that it has changed with the beginning of the new year. There seems to be no convincing movement that there will be changes.
but I am with you that it is very optimistic that there will be significant changes. but all must work together so that this can be realized quickly. although not yet, but I'm sure there will be improvements over the next few weeks. are you sure too?
Before try to take a definition regarding the market and you should understand about the TA and FA. Market shows a little bump and dump. That means it gets the stable value and it will stay at this level for annual years before the next increase.
5529  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Constantinople, the only ethereum hardfork on: January 21, 2019, 10:37:08 PM
We have seen some people or groups, who claim they are hardforking ETH,.
The plan of the first, NOVA, whose intention was to scam others of their hard earned money, was foiled early enough, because it was using a fake.
ETCV on the other hand was not quickly detected, but its team was anonymous, which i feel is enough to suspect them of scam.
Right now, its telegram account has changed when i checked.
It's website is suspended and so on.
They are now asking people to buy their coin, which does not exist.

Therefore, the only genuine hardfork, is the constantinople.
There is no more Constantinople ethereum hardfork. It has now be suspended and no one even knows the new date. More, be careful with any hardfork doing ICO.

Wrong.
The fork was delayed to block 7.280.000 which will approximately be mined at around February 27, 2019.
It gets another delay in the next month and it can be tolerated. beware more scammers are using the name of ethereum fork to create their shitty tokens. A month is enough to check all of the codes to find the vulnerability on its code.
5530  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto TV Show on: January 21, 2019, 10:34:14 PM
As much as we crypto advocates believe that the future is blockchain,  we are still a niche section of society.  With that in mind, will a TV show about crypto make it more mainstream and acceptable?

https://cryptomenow.com/kevin-connolly-to-host-a-show-about-crypto-in-development/
Most of ordinary person watched the tv and it can bring mass advertisement too. So far if you are seeing the fact that crypto is indeed lack of marketing.
It can bring the ordinary person the more education about the cryptocurrency.
5531  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Quarkchain Vs Zilliqa, Who will win? on: January 21, 2019, 10:25:30 PM
Both quarkchain and Zilliqa mainnet will launch in Q1, though Zilliqa will launch earlier on 31st January, Who do you think have better position to capture market and people attention in terms of technology and innovation and also in terms of adoption ?
Zilliqa will become a winner because it has mainnet and QKC is not yet launched its main net. I will prefer on zilliqa rather than quarkchain. QKC only creates a scalability blockchain which can't be considered as an innovative things in this time.,
5532  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What to expect from crypto in 2019? on: January 16, 2019, 10:55:43 AM
Bitcoin has to rise a bit before we can expect something. Or, surprisingly, the Ethereum has a very fast appreciation against Bitcoin.

Ethereum fork delays, affect our expectation also... We delay our profit plan...
We will see the next date of hardfork after the next meeting of ethereum developers. it's much better rather than forced the blockchain to implement that EIP that contains vulnerability.
I guess you must understand about this thing. Just be patience.
5533  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cardano will replace ETH! on: January 16, 2019, 10:54:14 AM
All CEOs will say the same thing, and will show that the product is of the highest quality. But what can be the basis that the product is the best so that it can beat other products.
yeah you're CEO from other crypto project says the same thing, but until now no proof just claiming

I think that such loud statements made by CEO Cardano are nothing more than a publicity stunt. Yes, maybe this project has some potential compared to ethereum, however, until this potential is realized, Ethereum can go far ahead and leave no chance cardano.
I agree a lot of those coins are so they are usually nothing no future , I think for investment you can invest of course , but count on the fact that ada will replace the eth, I would not
just claiming like another project they are think greater than Ethereum, they just want make investor investing in their cryptocurrency

If the results of coinmarketcap are 100% correct, then everything has been answered. So we all have choices, and we can give each of the information we get.
This is a shilling thread, any CEO will always create a shilling statements to their own platforms. I never take this one seriously. This is a usual thing that happen to attract the demands through created a controversial statement.
5534  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good ICOs should be protected from dump on: January 15, 2019, 01:18:21 PM
I don't agree that KYC should be made mandatory for all bounty and airdrop participants. managers have to find another solution to avoid multiple accounts.
KYC also can prevent the expected dump after listing coin. Bounty participants are first batch of sellers after starting bell on exchanges. There is no proper solution due to unexpected attacks by speculants and reward owners.
The only best solution to paid the major exchange site, if you have seen the fact that most of big platforms are getting listed on the binance from the first time has not gotten a big dump. Volume plays a very important role in this thing.
5535  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which is Fastest TPS and most secured crypto blockchain ? on: January 15, 2019, 12:18:01 PM
All projects make unrealistic claims about TPS, security and best decentralisation consensus but on practical purposes

1> which is the fastest, most  secured and decentralised blockchain already working ( i.e mainnet already running)

2> which is the most fastest, most  secured and decentralised blockchain whose mainnet will be releasing in 2019 and how they compare to other competitors

3> which is the most promising upcoming project in the space which has solid team and don't claim unrealistic expectations

4> what is theoritacal maximum tps , best consensus and crypto security can be achieved according to technology available today and within next 4-5 years

Expecting answers from researchers , enthusiast , nakamoto son  and all those who like to scratch there heads.

1. That should be zilliqa as the fastest blockchain in this time based on the main net which has been fully working.
2. I bet on some platforms like credit, quarkchain. About the decentralized needs to get the more tests.
3. bittorrent, files.fm and the last should be elixxir.
4. There will be no maximum TPS but there were limited resources. Not of all the nodes have the same statistic. any consensus has its own advantages and disadvantages.
5536  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: CRAPTOPIA all ur coins are haX0red on: January 15, 2019, 12:11:41 PM
Aren't there some security flags and/or security mechanisms when you initiate 19,000 ETH withdrawal from a hot wallet on cryptopia? Anyhow that is why we desperately need some good decentralized exchanges to replace these traditional exchanges.

security flags like duh!
big question.

They limit withdraw amounts on many shitcoins, but for ETH and TET pull Millions and not placed in pending for review.

SRSLY?

How is it even possible to 'allow' draw downs that exceed even the biggest account?
The scrypts would automatically ping a big red flag on such.

If that was true and that's indeed if that was a real garbage exchange site and the worst team in the world.
Just curious about is there a report on security of cryptopia? Let's say no to the crappy shitty low volume exhange site.
5537  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: January 14, 2019, 03:32:04 PM
will ZEC tec be implemented in ethereum?
It will or it has already implemented to the ethereum platform but that related to the zksnarks, zkstarks is still being developed by zcash team.

I guess there are some press have published this news in the past and you should watch it dude.
5538  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What is the current situation of the crypto market now? on: January 14, 2019, 03:28:29 PM
The sluggish situation in the market, the distrust of the future of crypto has begun to spread among traders, good news does not work anymore to boost prices.
Any good news will not give any impact to the market. Traders and speculators are putting their bet on the bitcoin and regulators. They are still watching it and still waiting for the result about what will have decided by the regulators regarding crypto.
5539  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Latoken:Account suspension "based on suspicious activity " on: January 14, 2019, 03:20:26 PM
At the moment I'm writing this thread four month has already passed since that day in which Latoken suspended my account injustifying and without a rational reason(yesterday LATOKEN made the same thing to my brother account) although they JUSTIFY with the same phrase" account has been suspended based on suspicious activity that does make no sense if they doesn't give you some explanation about this suspension.
In this month I made many support tickets to solve that issue and sent all the documents Latoken asked me to verify my identity to unlock my account but every time the support team gave me the same answer:"the team is working on it, as soon as possible via email you will receive information regarding it", but I never receive anything.
I ask to you, all bitcointalk users, to give me some help to solve this problem.
Ps. If you has similar issue on Latoken please comment this thread
Lol they are trying to avoid your ticket. If they are taking your problem seriously and there was any update to your case. Start to create a bunch of complain through their telegram and you can interact with the developers directly.
5540  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How Can I Detect If A platform is decentralised Or not !! on: January 14, 2019, 03:18:31 PM
Over a decade many project coming out promising a decentralize  platform  But  later You will find out the system is Centralise !! One of them is  Ethereum Network according to Blockchain expects  !! I want to know if there a way to track if a platform is decentralised or centralised !!
Ethereum is not even centralized and you have been taking a wrong example. Ripple is even more centralized than ripple. Have you seen BTG and recently ETC? both of these coins are being centralized. To track how decentralized the platform can be determined through how much important the role from the community to the platform.
