All projects make unrealistic claims about TPS, security and best decentralisation consensus but on practical purposes
1> which is the fastest, most secured and decentralised blockchain already working ( i.e mainnet already running)
2> which is the most fastest, most secured and decentralised blockchain whose mainnet will be releasing in 2019 and how they compare to other competitors
3> which is the most promising upcoming project in the space which has solid team and don't claim unrealistic expectations
4> what is theoritacal maximum tps , best consensus and crypto security can be achieved according to technology available today and within next 4-5 years
Expecting answers from researchers , enthusiast , nakamoto son and all those who like to scratch there heads.

1. That should be zilliqa as the fastest blockchain in this time based on the main net which has been fully working. 2. I bet on some platforms like credit, quarkchain. About the decentralized needs to get the more tests. 3. bittorrent, files.fm and the last should be elixxir. 4. There will be no maximum TPS but there were limited resources. Not of all the nodes have the same statistic. any consensus has its own advantages and disadvantages.

The answer is Lightning Network to your queries though not tied to one particular project as it's supported by many projects/coins. Instant transaction time so doesn't really have a limit on TPS, infinitely scalable so again not limited. This tech is what will move crypto forward and there are teams out there pushing it forward. As for an individual project pushing the tech on LN you should look at Stakenet. They have already performed Lightning Swaps which are Atomic Swaps over LN: Atomic Swap = On-Chain and limited by respective blockchain confirmation times, blocksize and fees. Lightning Swap = Off-Chain so instant, theoretically infinitely scalable with little to zero fee. They did this publicly on their mainnet and provided a guide so anyone could try. This tech is important as it allows people to convert assets instantly P2P so no need for a trusted party like a centralised exchange. They are currently coding it into a 1 click solution for their new multicurrency wallet. The new Multicurrency Wallet is special as it is super lightweight, usually you have to download entire blockchain for the assets you are holding but here their MN network will hold the blockchains and you interact with them via Lightning Invoices so the wallet can easily be used on any device like mobile with no huge downloads or waiting for syncing blockchains. To add to this they are also using their Lightning Swap tech to build an entire DEX run off of their MN network which will be accessed in wallet. This is where you will be able to effortlessly convert assets while always keeping full control of them in your wallet right until the moment they are sold. They have a network of nearly 2000 MN's so can't get much more decentralized than that really. Here is a little article about their new wallet/dex tech you should check out and then have a deeper look at all the other cool stuff they are doing with staking, hardware, privacy, dapps and more: https://medium.com/stakenet/multi-currency-wallet-and-lightning-swaps-stakenet-solution-7d0dafe99105edit to add: They are also collaborating with Litecoin Foundation to push LN forward: https://litecoin-foundation.org/lightning-network-collaboration-with-x-9-developers/As Stakenet’s overall vision is to build an interoperable cross-chain future built on the LN, both parties incentives are aligned to work together

1- Waves i think. Maybe some of them achieved more tps than waves but their chains are not intensive enough, they are practically meaningless. 2- Credits, they achievednearly 1.3M TPS in Internal tests. 3- I think Vostok is the most promising project in 2019. It will be secure as Waves and Fast as Waves and Private! 4- Theoretically there is no limit. New software comes out, and perhaps even higher speeds are achieved. But how much of these speeds we will need, this speed race will not know how far we will go. I think this speed race will end after a certain point.

From experience, one blockchain which I have experienced true speed from is the Nexty blockchain, it's not really known that much but I used it once and u was quite impressed with what I saw.

1) Waves, NEO…? https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3026750.02) Credits (CS) is working to become the most secured platform and is miles ahead of Quarkchain/Zilliqa or other chains with the same high-TPS promise. Why? See point 3: 3) I think again Credits (CS). It looks like they approach blockchain like it should be with offices, enough personal to educate companies who want to develop on blockchain, JAVA language chain, dedicated usecase information, developing private chains and they even created their own database software called Credits DBMS as a competitor to MySQL/Oracle/MongoDB. The Credits Enterprise website ( https://creditsenterprise.com) confirms this professional approach which is unique within the blockchain-sphere. Not to mention that Nitin Gaur (IBM Blockchain Labs) is advisor at Credits from the start of their ICO. 4) The sky is the limit in this case.

1. fastest and most secure? Bitcoin. Because it is the most secure blockchain out there by far. You can have higher speed that some other chains promise, but if someone double spend your coins tomorrow, what good does this speed bring?

As for credits will the test result be atleast 40-50% achievable in mainnet , I asked because it has become customery to claim high results to attract investors , and test results matters nothing if they can't be replicated in mainnet. It becomes just a marketing gimmick.

You can have higher speed that some other chains promise, but if someone double spend your coins tomorrow, what good does this speed bring? If we are talking about security, no doubt Bitcoin is the best in my opinion. But the fastest coin? no, it is not. let's not talk about XLM and many others, Bitcoin transaction speed is lower compared to ETH. Both of them until now, can not exceed 20 transactions per second. How come, it is the fastest coin in our cryptosphere, if something else can do 100 transactions per second or even more than that? about double spending, every PoW project has a probability to get double spending. That means Bitcoin has a probability to get it too.

I think the credits blockchain is the best I have seen so far, when Eos launched, I really thought it would leave all others in the dust but to be honest, it didn't meet my expectations at all.

According to Yahoo Finance, Waves Platform is World's fastest public blockchain. https://finance.yahoo.com/news/enterprise-blockchain-gets-boost-investors-110000262.html
It's open source. Mainnet since 2016. Token creation, DEX, Rich API, Smart Contracts and decentralised. Lot's of other platforms claim TPS but Waves has 100TPs real world verified on nodes spread across the globe. With bulk transfer that figure rises to 10K TPs. Theoretical maximum for WavesNG protocol is 1K TP/s. As for security, code was audited by 3rd parties and benefits from core and user security updates on a regular basis. https://wavesplatform.com

1) Presently most fastest blockchain infrastructure project is EOS with 3000TPS on mainnet and have surpassed number dapss transaction as compare to ETH. 2.A) Quarkchain is currently achieved 10000TPS and the mainnet will be launch before or on 31 March 2019 2.B) Zilliqa also achieved successfully 2828 TPS on testnet and have huge plans and funds in store make their blockchain project successful and adoptive in 2019 year. The mainnet launch is scheduled before or on 31st January 2019. https://www.google.com/amp/s/itsblockchain.com/top-3-highly-scalable-blockchain-projects/amp/3) The most promising project is seele which is bringing blockchain 4.0 and targeting to achieve 100k TPS. They have very knowledgeable team and actively updates their community through social media. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2820292.new#new4) With the current technology every aspirant project is trying to overpass transaction speed of VISA which is about 22000 to 24000 TPS. There is huge research going on by several project like Quarkchain, seele, hashgraph, yogdrash etc only time well say who will succeed.
