I see this thread is flooded with spam and the team uses a bumping service which is not allowed. We are cleaning this forum lately and threads like this should be deleted if there is more as 70% of spam. If you don't use bumping service then OP should report all spam in this thread just after is posted.

I don't know what you want to achieve with such ANN thread but for sure you will not gain any investors because every little-experienced one will run away when seeing this spam contest here.

For me, this thread looks like a simple scam.
5582  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Minexcoin - A new era of payments on: September 15, 2018, 07:39:34 AM
Hello!
You can find current rates at minexbank.com (scroll down). And yes, you have complete control of your coins (You do not send any coins to MinexBank and you do not have the coins in the bank), but you receive reward, i.e. interest, for keeping the coins in your wallet without than moving them.

"you have complete control of your coins" and "super algorithm" two main reasons I joined this ICO.

Don't like to repeat myself but until now I haven't heard a proper explanation about this not working algorithm which should be the key to Minexcoin success.
I am angry because I was a true believer despite, I warned about this super formula during ICO because I found a YouTuber who explained in detail that this is just a bullshit, nothing special and broken.
When I posted about this in Minexcoin group on Telegram a shitstorm come on me and I was banned. Of course, the Minex team explained that everything is ok and the algorithm will be fully working after testing. We all know the story further and now I hear that the algorithm doesn't work because not all components are released yet.

I see a lot of people are waiting for cards and hope that this will change the price of Minexcoin in a positive way. I personally doubt it because lately cards are issued very vast by other projects. Participated in Investa ICO a few weeks ago and these guys delivered cards and all other products long before ICO end. I am already using their card and is working great, accepted like Visa. Of course, Investa is a legal and registered company so maybe that is the reason why they get their hands on cards so fast.

From what I see lately credit cards backed by crypto are common and easy to get for registered companies. I wonder why Minexcoin need so much time to issue this cards?
I have my thoughts on this too but is to soon to share. Let's wait and see. I hope, I am wrong and Minexcoin will be big again.

Minexcoin team please tell me what is wrong with this magic algorithm and what is your plan further? Why such delays with cards? What with instabuy?
5583  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Cryptopia Cryptocurrency Platform Services and Development on: September 15, 2018, 06:47:11 AM
Hello good people.

Have had cryptopia temporarily close my account due to 3 attempts at putting in my Google authenticator code.

First time this has ever happened to me after more than a year of using cryptopia.

I don't have any form of dementia!
All three times my Google authenticator code was correct!

Anyone else ever had this problem??
There's a possibility that someone is trying to access your account.

Several users experienced it in the past. After 3 failed log in attempts, Cryptopia will automatically lock your account for security purposes, afaik that's for 15 mins. Please try to log in your account again after some time, if remain locked, then you should contact the support, while if you're able to access your account, you should change your password immediately.

Check their FAQ: How can I unlock my account?

On the other hand, if what happened was, you input your Google Auth code and get an Invalid code error then maybe it's a Google Auth issue. You should follow this step next time:

My Google Authenticator codes aren’t working (Android)
This might be because the time on your Google Authenticator app is not synced correctly.

To make sure that you have the correct time:

1. Go to the main menu on the Google Authenticator app
2. Tap More Moreand then Settings.
3. Tap Time correction for codes
4. Tap Sync now

On the next screen, the app will confirm that the time has been synced, and you should now be able to use your verification codes to sign in. The sync will only affect the internal time of your Google Authenticator app, and will not change your device’s Date & Time settings.

I never had problems with Google Authenticator but after reading your post just wanted to try this synchronization and I couldn't do it.
Every time I got an error message that Google Auth. server can't be accessed at this time. Strange because the app is still working and displayed codes are correct because I tried few of them on different web pages today.

Anybody experienced something like this?

That was a little off topic so now back to the main thread which is Cryptopia.

Of course, I am using Cryptopia because some coins are listed only there and I have to if I want to trade them. I had a lot of issues when trading there. Some because of my mistake and some because of Cryptopia. Not accepted deposits, withdrawals which take weeks to be processed, weeks of waiting for support after a ticket, insane fees on USDT and other withdrawals, a constant problem with offline wallets, etc.

I think Cryptopia still has a big chance to be in top 10 between exchanges if they improve their service, especially support and withdrawals problems. Traders just cannot wait weeks for their coins.

I have to add that finally all my problems were resolved and I get always my money from them.
5584  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Bountyhunters.io: Innovative Bounty Platform for Influencer Marketing on: September 14, 2018, 10:45:14 PM
My issues with stakes are still not resolved despite I have contacted managers via Telegram and they are already almost 2 weeks resolving these problems but with no success. I am not happy and start to be angry because they ask me to provide a ton of links and dates which I did. After that, I got an answer that my stakes are adjusted accordingly but that was not true at all and I got nothing. Contacted them one more time and again they ask me to provide links, dates, etc. (which I did) and still no stakes in my account. Slowly I lose hope that I would get anything for my hard work.

I have a question about KYC.

We have to pass KYC almost every time when participating in an ICO or even bounty and airdrops lately. I don't mind to do it but keep thinking about my data security.

What happens with my personal data after KYC? Are they stored, deleted? If yes, how then. If no, where are they stored and how?

If there will be no soft cap reached what will happen with my data?

Please explain in details.
Here's our DETAILED response:

1. We keep all the data in a digital repository with a bank-grade security level, you can learn more about our technology partners on how we are securing the data. Our Technology partners fr KYC and data security are AWS, Artemis and Cloudflare.

2. If you participate in our ICO after whitelisting then your data will be in the digital repository for 3 years, to follow any regulatory audit on the investments in our project.

3. If you just complete the KYC and never participate in ICO then your data will be removed from the repository after ICO is completed.

4. Same as point 3 is the case if we don't hit our soft cap

Hope this helps!

Thank you very much for this detailed answer.

Of course, this helps me a lot because I was wondering like everybody, I think if my personal data are safe with you guys.

I have read about  AWS, Artemis, Cloudflare and now I fully understand the process and how secure it is.
5586  Economy / Services / Re: [OPEN] 🔥IOU Signature Campaign | Member - Hero | 0.0007 BTC /Post 🔥 on: September 14, 2018, 10:43:43 AM
Week 5 has ended!
Hello everyone, payments for week 5 have been sent in this transaction . Definitely have enough for another week.

The devs have asked me to make this rule change. Instead of being able to do a maximum of 30 posts a week, the limit has been reduced to 20 posts. Any posts that exceed this limit won't be paid for.

Questions are welcome!

New applications all denied..

Thanks, Zapo, payment received as always at the scheduled date.

Slap in the face this new rule for us. We can do nothing only accept it but is hard to understand why such a decision when we take into consideration that so many members didn't fulfill max requirement last week and all weeks before?

The only explanation which comes to my mind is that they are not happy with the results of this campaign. Despite that Zapo did everything he can to choose only high-quality posters and check all posts manually for spam. Zapo is doing a great job because I see IOU signatures in all important threads on BTT lately.

Lately, I have worked with a few new ICO's as an advisor and all of them were not happy with the result they achieved in bounty campaigns which were run directly on BTT. After few weeks from bounty start, they didn't sell any tokens which show clearly that there are no investors left on BTT and even worse new ones don't come to this forum for information because today there are other better places to go if you need info about ICO's and all investors are sitting there.

We already see payouts decline in the signature and all other bounty campaigns. Old school advertising on BTT is not efficient anymore. Bounties will evolve in the coming months and I think we will see a decline first and slowly there will be no more signature campaigns anymore or other bounties on BTT. For sure making so much money from this campaigns will not be so easy anymore or even not possible.
5587  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Minexcoin - A new era of payments on: September 12, 2018, 07:38:54 PM
As mentioned in my earlier post, the release of the visa cards will not have a significant effect on the price of MNX.

The timing of their release is (I think unintentionally) going to coincide with the tail end of the first round of quarterly parkings. This will be fun to see... The natural market correction as sell pressure is reduced will cause the price to rise a little, and people will very incorrectly attribute this to the release of the visa cards. When the price dips again soon after there will be much alarm and I bet a weeks worth of posts claiming the project has failed.

Those people, myself included, who are excited about these cards and keen early adopters will no doubt already have sufficient holdings of MNX to fulfill the cards' minimum balance requirements. I would bet further that most of the 1000 odd people already fully signed up, ready to go, are holding back that reserve of minex from their long term parkings.

In short, most of the people who are ready to go already have the MNX required. We don't need to buy any more MNX when we get the card.

The next group of card users will be those already in knowledge of what's going on, already expressing interest and enthusiasm on the forums... Already holding decent amounts of MNX waiting to pull the trigger. These people also won't need to buy any significant amount to get up and running.

Now let's think about the spending action of the cards...

After users have dropped on a bit of MNX to price it works and we are all up and running... We want to spend some of our hard earned crypto right?

Well... The go-to coin for anything cross exchange is BTC. Everyone knows it and is familiar with it and has had to use it in some form.

If I want to flip any of my crypto holdings on to the card balance, I will use BTC directly. And so will anyone else. Why would I bother to FX it again in to MNX, pay trabsfer and exchange fees to do so, and hold a balance in a coin which is performing poorly (right now, see my earlier post). It would make far more sense to drop BTC straight on to the card instead.

The % incentive of charging and spending in mnx compared to btc is simply not enough right now to counter the (artificially) poor performing mnx and overheads required to do so. One day it will be, but right now it's certainly not.

So we won't have the big surge in buy volume required to raise a market price. Not yet.

An argument often put forward in previous discussions is that more people will learn of the cards, want to get involved, will require MNX to do so. But I don't think it will be so much. The requirements of a regular (blue) or gold card are not so significant in value.

And not everyone in the crypto community (which is still in its entirely a very small and niche market) will jump on board. Those that do will not be all at once. It will be naturally distributed over time... Which is exactly the behaviour we need on the sell side also but don't have.

So we will have a bit of a stabilising force which will be good. But it won't be a big enough force to drive the market. First we need to wait for the artificial mechanisms mentioned in my first post to dwindle and stop taking effect. The cards will help to reduce the decline, but not counter it.

Thank you for sharing your point of view and explanation.

I agree with you but not fully. You think that cards will be something which will help but I am not so sure. There are already other projects with working cards (Investa) and they just finished ICO. I assume that in the near future there will be no problem for any project to issue a card. That is why this will be so common that add no value to the project.
Would be great to see such a post from the Minexcoin team member.

I will ask what is your opinion about this broken algorithm?

I am very angry because when ICO was ongoing I found a review where a Youtuber broke this algorithm in the pieces and proved that this is pure bullshit and doesn't work at all. When I posted about this on Telegram a shitstorm started. They banned me and try to scare that they will not pay my bounty if I continue to spread FUD because the algorithm is good and working. Today we all know that this was a real bullshit.
5588  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: THE SCAMMER Guinness world record on bitcointalk 1 man 1000 accounts 150k+ usd! on: September 12, 2018, 07:06:21 PM
±
Bounty campaigns already don't pay the highest stakes for signature campaigns because they are not efficient anymore. I have worked lately with few ICO's and all of them complained that signature campaigns give no results. There where hundreds of participants signed but after the first week they didn't sell any tokens.
~
The main problem is the missing of the regulation, too many shitcoins on the market and people lost interest on them since most are scams.
If one day we will get a regulation and only 10% of actual ICOs the advertising will be very relevant again.

Of course, I agree that regulations can help with ICOs but still, there are hundreds of places actually to find information about coins, tokens, ICO's and many more. BTT already lost the first mover advantage. Sooner almost everybody used BTT because this was the only and most crowded place for cryptocurrencies enthusiast. People were able to find ICOs only here. Today only a handful of old members stayed and the rest which registered during the last 2 years are bots and alt accounts in 90%.

This is just not easy to find an ICO on BTT because there are many ANN threads. Like you said most of them are worth nothing and are an obvious scam. This good ICOs couldn't be found between this amount of spammy projects. That is why people started to use other tools and lost interest in BTT because of a high amount of spam and new rules. This is very hard to rank up so they give up very fast or even don't try at all.

I think that only a few exclusive bounties will be run on BTT in the future and the rest in other services like Bountyhunters.io, Bountyplatform.io, Bounty0x and many more.
5589  Economy / Speculation / Re: Great news everywhere today and Bitcoin price goes vertically up, again!!! on: September 12, 2018, 06:49:57 PM
Great news everywhere today and Bitcoin price goes vertically again!!!

Shotted from 6000$ range to 7500$ in few hours after Bloomberg announced that BlackRock is looking to invest in cryptocurrencies and Goldman Sachs will hire David Solomon, current president of the New-York headquartered multinational Lloyd Blankfein in October. This guy is crypto-friendly let's say and this is huge news because trillions will be pumped soon.

They will take their positions now when is still cheap. Be wise guys do the same what the big guys do!!! Take your positions the race is started, again.

Taking into consideration last weeks looks like the bullish market is ready to start. What do you think am I right?
And now what we are seeing is that the market is falling off a cliff, all the market is down and most coins are down by double digits and many people are very scared about what is happening, it is entirely possible that those people never have the intention of creating anything and they did it so they could then announce that they canceled their project just to make the market crash.

I thought a long time ago that this market is manipulated and last weeks shows that this is the case for real. I am not surprised that all ETF's so far where postponed or denied. Cryptocurrencies market needs more regulation to stop whales from price manipulation. If they are able to do it with BTC and ETH then smaller cap currencies have no chance at all. We will see countless pump and dumps, flash sales and all sort of bear traps until regulators will do something about this.

I understand that they are doing this because in such an unregulated market this is easy money for them. They have a lot of experience in forex trading abuse and now the crypto market is like New Eldorado for them.

Very soon in October is an EXPO REAL in Europe's (exactly Munich in Germany). This is the largest real estate and investment trade fair. It represents the whole supply chain of the international real estate sector—all the important sectors are there, from conception and design through investment and financing, realization and marketing to operation and use.

I hope that Atlant team is aware of this trade fair and I will see them there.

Germany is doing well economically. An indicator of this is the real estate market. Rarely has so much been invested, rented, sold and built. At EXPO REAL, the largest European trade fair for the real estate industry, the topics of the sector get discussed.

Dev! Why did you decide to add to this exchange https://exrates.me/dashboard? I think this is a very bad option for ETI! what other exchanges do you plan to add? and when?

I don't think this is an official listing because I asked about this on Telegram and nobody knows nothing.

I will ask you to provide exact link to PERA on Exrates because I can't find it there. Maybe you made a mistake or is already delisted. Anyways don't trade there because this is an obvious scam. They even use the same code as an exchange which made an exit scam not so long ago. Maybe they are this same team of people,

All information comes from here: https://www.hdactech.com/en/News/news.do. You do not need to search elsewhere.

I don't think you should answer to this spammer and even worse to quote him. This is obvious spam and he has 0 interest in Hdac project. When you quote him you spread this spam only further. If you have to quote such a post and will provide an answer is better to snip his text in the quoter and report to moderator, They will decide what to do with this member and his posts.

Just don't like these spammers as you see in my personal text and you are a high-rank member so you should be aware of such things. BTT staff try to clean this forum lately that is why merits system was introduced.

All spam and abuse should be reported using the report button.
5593  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO][PERA] PAYERA - NEW ERA OF THE CRYPTO WORLD on: September 12, 2018, 04:36:07 PM
EDAEX is same as EtherDelta or Forkdelta?

I think so because, I see the same orders in order book as on Forkdelta, even this same transactions. Please explain if you are from the team or familiar with this project.

I understand this is P2P exchange but is verified, checked, trustworthy and secure?
The exchange "EDAEX" listed PERA without any negotiations.Payera team contacted them and they delisted PERA!
PERA (real) upcoming exchange will be announced soon!
Is it possible to list a token in an exchange without negotiations? Will be looking forward to the real listing.

Of course, this is possible and everybody should be aware of that fact. I will explain how is this possible.

From the time we have DEX exchanges (Etherdelta, Forkdelta, Edaex, Tokenstore, and many others), there is a possibility for everybody to list token even a fake one like Bitcoin with ticker BTC.

This will be not an official listing and you will be able to find such a token in the "other" tab on the exchange. The 'other' tab is the place where all unofficial tokens are listed.

The only way for Payera or any other project is to reach out to exchange staff and try to delist but this is only possible when there is a malicious attempt or abuse proved (not sure about this).

So watch out and check a few times what are you trading when you are on a decentralized P2P exchange.

This project has given me lesson that mining farms related projects usually are all scams. They raised $100 millions and had chance to deliver for what people trusted on them even they had bad intentions but that was huge money. They could provide product while enjoying people's money but they thought only at them. I am not going to touch this kind of project anymore. This is an area where none succeed so far sooner or later they turned to be scam.

It's just funny I participate in this ICO because they advertised ENV token as an security and I was sure that they can't exit scam. I was so wrong.

There is no news about FINMA investigation or any other from weeks on all official channels. I am banned in this founders Telegram group so if anybody knows something please share.

How is the Finma case and other investigations? What was the final court decision in Germany?

Is a very strange filling when ATL token price goes up. I have seen so many reds that I act like a bull when spotting this color. But green is something so long not seen that I just don't believe and think that is just a mistake and it will correct very fast. Despite that, Atlant price is 20% up and keep holding. strong this level. Looks like there are a few little sell orders and the rest ask more for their tokens. This is very good and we all shall hodl.

I will wait for the payment until Ideaupdater next reply here on the forum to be sure that he has seen my PM or posts and if still refuses to pay, I will have to open a scam accusation thread against him in reputation section.

Don't want to but if he still doesn't pay then there will be no other way. This situation is ongoing for 6 months!!!

So I see now that the payout is correct, I was eligible only for 50MIB tokens which is nothing for 3 bounty campaigns.  Like I said, I hope this will be adjusted in further campaigns because if not then there will be nobody willing to work for a few cents. This is a commitment, you have to be constantly online every day and tasking. Nothing is for free so our work too.

5599  Other / Meta / Re: Vote for new moderators who deserve it. @theymos please take a look. on: September 12, 2018, 09:14:31 AM
Moderator for what? A patroller? Probably some of the best choices for staff likely aren't even on this shortlist and is why popularity isn't the best quantifier. Sure, those who are very active and helpful within the community should be taken into consideration, but it's the accurate reporting showing you're aware of the rules that is usually the better identifier of suitability. As we've seen, some of the most popular amongst the community aren't even interested in the position either. Choosing mods for sub boards should obviously be chosen from the users who are most active in reporting within there and only theymos has access to that info.
Do you remember rickbig? He isn't much popular but is a very active reporter who just deserved the position of global MOD.  When he was elected, there were very few members who know about him. This shows that just being popular isn't enough to get appointed.
rickbig is a perfect example. He wasn't much of an active poster at all, but he was reporting an insane amount of posts. Every morning when I woke up there was often dozens upon dozens of reports by him on spambots and often times they had been in the queue for hours and could be still there for many more if I didn't get round to them or was out that morning. That's why it made perfect sense to have him on board. He frees up time from current mods and doesn't have to waste time reporting bots when he could just nuke them himself. He then rose rapidly to Global because he was still very active in reporting and it made sense for him to be a Global (and still despite being very active in actually posting). He's now probably amongst the top handlers of reports (though I can't be certain and only theymos will have access to those stats and that's why he is the best one suited to choosing new staff members). Maybe one day he might even become an admin. Who knows.

Agree fully with Hillarious.

You need some special skills to be a moderator. One of them is reporting because this is a perfect measure but not only.
If member report dozen of abusers in his spare time without any incentive and is doing a great job with very high accuracy then this is really good indicator that he would be a great moderator but still, he should start from patrol rank or even be supervised for some time by established moderator who will check his actions in first weeks of his work to avoid abuse and stupid mistakes which can bring more harm than good for BTT members.

I see this lists wich OP put together and I know that all these members are well recognized and very popular because they are involved in almost all the most important threads regarding this forum but that does not mean that they will be good moderators and that they have the necessary qualifications and time for this job.

Actually, I have almost 2,5k posts reported with 100% accuracy and only 14 bad (which I get at the start). I would be glad to help to clean this forum as a volunteer or patroller but from what I see there is no way to apply for this task only you have to be chosen by staff members.

I think there should be a thread where members can apply for such tasks. This would be fairer.
There are a lot of members like me which are here a few years long, know a lot about crypto, post quality content, fight spam and abuse but don't have friends between forum staff members and don't post in every thread on meta, reputation or scam section to be recognized or just to butter up.
5600  Other / Meta / Re: @theymos, we want those sections back to us, new moderators? on: September 12, 2018, 08:12:33 AM
Keep reporting spam and abuse for almost a year. I am here almost 7 years on BTT from 2012 (my first account was hacked after 2 years) but was afraid to report because my first reports were bad and I got low accuracy.

Lately, the amount of spam grows so much that I just couldn't ignore this anymore.
I like to read this forum and I couldn't because sometimes to find one page with a quality discussion I had to read 4 pages of "great project" kind of posts. Slowly I learned how to report correctly and after some time I had hundreds of reports with 100% accuracy. Actually, I have almost 2,5k posts reported with 100% accuracy and only 14 bad (which I get at the start).

I will suggest adding volunteers to boards which need to be cleaned.
They should be supervised by an established moderator and first report posts for a few days or even weeks in this boards. Moderator will check their reports and if they are correct then assign them for a patrol, junior, ghost or even full moderator. I just think that the abilities of every member who applies for a moderator should be checked first to avoid abuse later.

I would be glad to help but from what I see there is no way to apply for this task only one has to be chosen by staff members.

I think there should be a thread where members can apply for such tasks.
This would be fairer. There are a lot of members like me which are not so popular but here a few years long, know a lot about crypto, post quality content, fight spam and abuse but don't have friends between forum staff members and don't post on every thread in meta, reputation or scam section to be recognized and gain popularity or just to butter up.
