561  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can bitcoin drop to $3000? on: November 29, 2017, 10:11:54 AM
Can bitcoin drop to $3000?
It might not be possible again as many speculators are saying bitcoin is going to go above  $20,000 before it cannot get major clash. Bitcoin falling to $3,000 will mean end of the whole blockchain technology as many holders are going to drop it to the ground including others coins. Were bitcoin are today is still at the foundation level and when it began to build it will be 1btc to $100,000

It's just a speculation, nobody knows what will happen next into bitcoin this coming year 2018.  But if the segwit2x will be happen  again I think  there will be still a hard fork of bitcoin to be happened that will  fall into $3,000, but it will not take too long to regain its price after a week I guess, because when bitcoin price drops, a lot of people will grab the opportunity to buy bitcoin. So there will be more demand and will resulted to increasing of its price again.
562  Economy / Economics / Re: Can we Manipulate Bitcoin price? on: November 29, 2017, 07:23:13 AM
the demand of the people regulates the price...that's why we need to attract more people into this then the price will grow even more)

Yes, the high demand of bitcoin affects its price. The more bitcoin users, the high demand it will be. And the more people hold their coins for long and the more they keep on selling their bitcoin also affect its price. Overall, it can only affect the price but still, no one can manipulate bitcoin's price. If there's a possibility that bitcoin price can be manipulated, then it should be done years ago.
563  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do You Go to Land Based Casinos? on: November 29, 2017, 06:28:43 AM
Do you gamble at land based casinos?

Land based casinos are still something that makes esports betting or digital gambling something to frown about. THey offer drinks sometimes even food while your playing and nothig can beat the experience of seeing your competitor or knowing how they are bluffing.

It's really more intense when you play in a land based casinos rather than playing at home. I don't actually goes to land based casinos because I really hate the atmosphere there. People keep smoking everywhere, and it's really annoying for me. I don't really care if they offer free drinks to those gamblers. I still prefer playing at my own convenient place. I don't have to travel far just to play. Although a lot of people still prefer to gamble at a land based casinos because as you've said, nothing beats the experience in gambling at a land based casino.
564  Economy / Speculation / Re: what you think about bitcoin in like 5 years? on: November 28, 2017, 11:38:42 AM
bitcoin is five years time in my opinion there will be a lot of hard forks from the original bitcoin blockchain and the value of bitcoin would increase by 300 percent today's price. if transaction's speed and price remains the same, bitcoin's not improving and maybe the price wont grow that much
I am very optimistic about what may happen in the future with bitcoin. Although we don't know it yet, I still have faith and belief that everything is going to be great for bitcoin in the next five years. As we all see the improvements and progress of bitcoin nowadays, we can already say that it will surely surprise the world and take over everyone. A lot of changes will surely occur but all of it will be for the sake of the betterness of everyone.

Bitcoin will surely be progressive in the next 5 years. Also, there will be a lot of stores who will start to accept bitcoin. A lot of people keep asking merchants to accept bitcoin, and with the high price now of bitcoin, they will surely be encourage to accept bitcoin. And it will be easier for us to buy stuffs using bitcoin and we'll no longer bringing fiat.
565  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is holding bitcoin Greedy? on: November 28, 2017, 10:19:09 AM
You have all the rights to hold your property, money, investment - so it's nothing wrong or greedy. You can hold your Bitcoins till you feel its worth. Its called investment, It's the basic rule of Investment. Stay with Bitcoin and make good money!

You're quite right. Holding bitcoin is like holding a treasure. You know that it's really expensive once you try to sell it. The longer you hold it, the high chances of earning huge amount of profit. I take bitcoin as a treasure. It's like diamond, its hard to own at least one. So holding bitcoin is not being greedy but being wise enough because it's all part of the game (investment).
566  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: To Gamble or To Invest? on: November 27, 2017, 02:09:36 PM
For me investbis better good than gambling, so if youre going to choose i would like to choose investing because gambling is for fun and investing is making money i will not waste my money just for gambling, thats all.

Yeah, if you really want to earn profit, you should go for investment. When you gamble, you own nothing. You don't have assurance of earning profit. Because as usual, you always go home with an empty pocket. But with investment, you own something in return in that company that you invested with your money. Gambling is a no-win venture, and not at all comparable to investing. Better think wisely on which of those you would like to choose. To earn nothing or to earn profit?
567  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should I Wait or Invest On Bitcoin? on: November 27, 2017, 01:13:40 PM
I am newbie on bitcoin, recently introduced with the community. I have seen a lot of positive feedback about bitcoin investment. I am not interested do business or trade on market. I want to used it for long term investment only. Some people suggested me anytime is good for invest on bitcoin but I want to do it wisely. If you have some idea of the market and analysis kindly do it for me.
Well in my opinion, you should not wait anymore because the more the time passes by, the more the money you will loose. You should start investing right away most specially right now that the value of bitcoin is improving a lot which can benefit you as soon as you started investing here. It may be risky but it's all part of the game. You have to risk so that you may gain more profit and that's a rule here in bitcoin.

Although you have a point, but if I were to decide, I'd rather wait for the right time as to when the price will drop. As we all know, bitcoin's price as of now is really high, and if you're going to buy now, you can only afford small amount of bitcoin. We really can't predict what will happen to bitcoin's price in the next month. If it will drop by next month, then that's the time you buy more bitcoins. You'll have bigger chances of having a lot of bitcoins. After buying, you hold it for a long term investment and I can assure you that you'll earn huge amount of profit in the future. You'll just have to wait until you feel that it's the right time to sell it or it reaches your target price. Just use your strategy and analyze more about its price in the market.
568  Economy / Economics / Re: Would bitcoin help teach kids about saving? on: November 27, 2017, 07:43:29 AM
So I have 2 cousins. One of them doesn't save and is a huge spender while the other is a saver and spends only once a year. So would bitcoin be a good way to teach them about saving? Since, mining bitcoin is the only way to make alot of bitcoin, I would use a alt wallet to show them what happens if you spend and don't save. What do you think?
I think teaching bitcoin to kids is not a good idea. You will have a hard time teaching that kind of topic to them because they will not pay attention to you. Kids only want to play and have fun with theirselves and the idea of bitcoin is very complicated for them. Maybe some of the kids will listen but most of them will not.

I totally agree! Bitcoin is really complicated and teaching bitcoin to kids is not that easy. I myself had a hard time about how bitcoin works and how will I make money out of it, how much more to kids. Even if you educate them, kids won't still pay attention as they'll just find it boring. It is nice to teach kids about saving. Actually, there are a lot of ways on how to teach kids about saving but not with bitcoin. Bitcoin can't help kids teach about saving. Let kids be kids. Let them enjoy their life as a kid.

What are the features that a good investor should have? What are the characteristics of people who have enough capital and earn money from money?

What are the factors that make these people successful in their investments?

For me, the good features of one investor should have is that he/she should value every failures they've made. I believe all investors living in success once failed at some point of their lives, and from that point, they will recognize their weakness that they should value the most. And also they have a lot of patience, and believe that they will soon be successful.

Yes, you really have a point. All successful investors were once a failure. And that failure serves as their motivation to learned new ideas or strategies as to what to do next for them to succeed in their next investment.

Anyway, I have searched some of the characteristics of good investors and these are the following:

Goal setting: Failing to plan is planning to fail!

A good investor will always have clear goal. It is very important to have a plan to achieve the goals. Variations most likely tend to divert an investor from the agenda. Having a plan of action within a defined period of time for a particular return on investment is a sign of a good investor.

Knowledge: When you know better, you do better!

A good investor possesses knowledge of the market. He/she understands the position of funds and has researched about the company investment strategy and philosophy. You need to know where your money is being utilized. A good investor analyses the growth pattern of the company over the years from genuine sources.

Right Decision: Listen to the world but do what is right!

A good investor knows the time. They keep an eye on current scenario in the market. They update their knowledge about market activities and growth. Having a sound understanding of trends enables the investors to overlook their plans and decide the term of investment. They own their mistakes and learn not to make them again. It’s not necessary that the good investor jumps into the trends; he/she just does what is right.

Patience: Keep calm and carry on!

A good investor creates wealth due to his patience. It is probably the finest quality to have. A good investor has faith in his plans. They usually do not feel bad about the 10% down-tick; they would rather sit tight to celebrate the 100% uptick. They are persistent about sticking to the plans. They usually do not get into the buy and sell trends.

Risk Aversion: Know thyself!

Good investors know the inherent risk in investing. They understand their plans and analyze their expected returns. Being risk averse is a quality shaped by experience, knowledge and confidence over the above mentioned key characteristics.

570  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can cryptocurrency make real money disappear? on: November 27, 2017, 04:19:31 AM
In my opinion, Cryptocurrency and Real money will exist together. They serve many different people

Yes, they'll both exist in the future. Fiat is backed by Government, and do you even think that the Government would let bitcoin take over fiat currency? It's not really possible. They don't even legalize bitcoin because of the fact that it might be used in illegal activities. So, there's really no way that the Government will let that happen. Aside from, bitcoin is indeed gaining popularity around the world but that doesn't mean that it's being used almost all the people around the world. There would still be people who will not agree of using cryptocurrency. They don't know or haven't heard that thing. You can't force someone to use bitcoin whom they didn't even know. There are still a lot of factors to consider why cryptocurrency can't make real money disappear. What I'm really sure is that, cryptocurrency and fiat currency will exist in the future whatever happens.
571  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin a good way to invest your money ? on: November 25, 2017, 12:19:58 PM
Savings in banks Deposits in banks Property investments, such as buying property (land and buildings) are then leased or resold after some time later. Gold investment, such as buying gold and then stored for the long term. May be useful in the long run. and produce a decent and satisfactory. or farming to buy sawan and gardening and planting fruits and vegetables is a very good investment. Although a little vulnerable to failure but it could not hurt to try.
I think Bitcoin is a very good way to invest a money, but if you want to invest at bitcoin, you may have to wait a 3 to 4 weeks because there are some days that the price of the bitcoin is being higher. there are time that bitcoin increase its value.

Bitcoin's price continuously increasing day by day which attracts more investors to invest. Bitcoin is so volatile and investing in it is really risky. If you're brave enough to take the risk, you'll surely earn huge amount of profit. But of course, the profit you'll earn depends on the time span of your investment. The more longer you hold it, the more chances of earning huge profit. You have to be wise enough in every decisions you make. Lastly, bitcoin is indeed a good way to invest your money coz you'll surely earn huge profit in a short period of time even if it is risky.

By the way, investing in bitcoin is for those brave people that are willing to take the risk.
572  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Excuses on: November 25, 2017, 11:13:35 AM
Did you ever gamble with other's money to pay your own debts or otherwise to solve a certain problem through gambling?
Yes, I do sometimes use others money, but I also pay them after I earn some money again so can borrow money again to them to pay debts and solve some certain problem and in playing gambling. It is not bad as long as you can pay them back.
It's a good idea, but i think it's too risky and you can find yourself in big troubles if you also lose the money of other people. Personally, I don't take this kind of risk. I don't like to gamble with people's money.

before we decide to use others money, we need to thinking that how we can pay that money and did we capable to earn more money in gambling. like FasTroy said, its too risky and its better to avoid this and only use our money so if we are loss, we only loss our money without thinking how we're going to payback the money.
This is the behavior of a gambler that is using others money, trying to get lucky. Better to stay away in this kind of trouble because it will only get worst and can make your life uneasy. Use own money instead to be safe.
Every gambler who are in the stage of addiction will be in that situation soon, when they do not have money anymore to gamble, they will find ways just to obtain money in any ways. Borrowing means you have to pay for the interest as well and since gambling does not give us a guarantee to win then for sure this will give us big problem in the future.

It's not a surprise thing for me. It always happen, when a gambler lost all their money in gambling, they would always find ways to have money and that is to loan from the bank, borrow from their friends or whatever they do just to have money and make their houses, cars or all of their wealth as collateral. And as you've said, gambling does not give us guarantee to win.

If they keep on losing, tendency will be they're going to lose all their wealth. I have known someone who were addicted in gambling. He became poor after losing all that he have. He even attempt to commit suicide because he can't accept the fact that he lose everything of his wealth because of gambling. I hope this might serve as a lesson to all gamblers.
573  Economy / Economics / Re: Can bitcoin improve the economy of a country? on: November 25, 2017, 09:50:29 AM
Can bitcoin improve the economy of the country??

Yeah, it is possible to improve the economy of the country if everybody is knowledgeable about bitcoin. But the question is bitcoin legal in your country? If it is YES, it could be a big help to improve the economy of one country.Bitcoin is an alternative source of income for those who are unemployed. And additional source of income for those who are employed. If everyone is knowledgeable about it, everyone can earn money to sustain for their daily needs.

Also, if there would be a lot of stores who will start to accept bitcoin as mode of payment, then it would be a great help to improve the economy of one's country. And I guess, if bitcoin will be legalized and the government will start to put a tax on bitcoin like in every transactions, then I'm pretty sure it will help improve the economy. If there would be a lot of bitcoin users in each country, then there would be more taxes they can collect.

And of course, those things will only happen if the governments starts to open their eyes about bitcoin and the benefits it can bring to the country.
574  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you know when to stop? on: November 24, 2017, 10:57:06 PM
You don't. At least I don't.. Before I start to gamble I take for example $50 and act like I've already lost it. So I gamble with that basically. If I win, I win, if I don't, I don't.  Smiley

That mindset is good for gamblers that don't want to lose more and it's more of a discipline. As a gambler that has definite luck by that time and thinks at that time he'll rake it, will just eventually stop. A win is a win and no matter how small or big it is, just stop when that came.
Discipline is best solution for this it is a yes. Because you will never k ow when to stop unless you do. The answer is with your own if you know how to limit yourself you will know when to stop.

Discipline sometimes are gone when you are on the situation. We can tell it easily by words but still there's no guarantee that you will stop if you have the discipline as there are times that you want to take the risk whenever you are on the situation.

I agree,  discipline is the best asset to stop of being addicted in gambling, but if we cannot discipline ourself in our own much better if we  put our self in a rehabilitation center so that we can totally releive our stress in being addicted and can afford to forget in gambling. And proceed another activities that might also could make us fun and entertained.
575  Economy / Economics / Re: What will happen if we use a one currency only? on: November 24, 2017, 09:53:55 PM
even if, let's say in the entire world there will be only one currency, the value of it won't be the same everywhere because we have to look at the national economy so, even if the currency has a certain value, in some countries you can buy more, in other less things.

If there is only one currency, there will not be any international payment problem. Different countries  currency will be the same currency of the US and complications related to exchange rate will be avoided. Still the expansion of trade depends upon trade policies (tariff etc) of countries. And all people will be connected to each other through that currency.

579  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you like slot games ? on: November 23, 2017, 10:15:16 AM
It depends on the themes and features, but slot games are OK, especially ones that give me plenty of free spin bonuses Smiley

True sometimes I also when get a chance look around for it and see if luck is on the site. Though end up mostly losing only as it is bound to happen this slot games are purely luck based games and no skill require where you get a chance to make the game on your side.

Since it is based on pure luck, it should be played just for fun and entertainment because you will most of the time be disappointed when you are too focused on profit.

The thing is, slot games is really a very entertaining game but will shift no longer fun when you lose a lot of money that you can't really afford to lose.

This slot games have very low winning percentage and pure luck to get win this games also too boring we can not play more than 6 minutes. I don't know how they will play that boring game that much time. But definitely we cannot force to other if where they want to play as long as he or she happy on that thing and get interested on that game.
580  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I keep holding my NEO? on: November 23, 2017, 09:03:00 AM
I think it is a good choice to hold the NEO. One reason is that it has been widely accepted and the potential is obvious. Another reason is tthe price now is a little low.

Holding NEO coin is a good choice because just like the other altcoins right now, it’s on its dumping value and most of the investors isn’t deciding to sell at a low price. While the price is at little low selling isn’t a good choice for now and the best is to wait until further development of the price will be happening in sooner time. We are going to follow the other footsteps of other currencies and let’s make it bitcoin as the role model of all crypto currencies.

This Neo coins found in china ICOs project after their goverment get banned of bitcoin this altcoin now is quietly low price value and freezing the price. So until that coin is still on dump, enough patience is required, until it will emerge the real value of this coin in the market and if that could really happened, many investors will be happy and also if this coin put in the market that has a huge price and will be one of the top coin in the market many investors will get interested and would try to invest on it.
