661  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin is the new era of currency? on: October 17, 2017, 07:51:34 AM
Bitcoin for me is a new era of currency today because its now becoming very popular specially of the demand nowadays is getting so high and profitable. And as we see everyday there is changes in the price which everyone is waiting everytime, so its sustainability will be always encouraging people to use this currency and they always hope that this currency will soon be implemented worldwide. Hopefully all countries government will allow this new era of currency, and we can guarantee profit return to all who will be investing in the future.

For me, it's not really the new era of currency since there are still a lot of countries who don't accept bitcoin and there are still a lot of stores who don't accept bitcoin as mode of payment. However, bitcoin is considered as the most popular internet currency.
662  Other / Off-topic / Re: Young people should go all in on bitcoin on: October 17, 2017, 07:22:31 AM
Young generation today i think is smarter. The age range 17-30 is being brilliant in the act. So, maybe without we teaching about bitcoin. They even understand and use it better than us. Set aside pocket money little by little in bitcoin, will not be felt.

You have a point. Even kids nowadays can understand what bitcoin, but of course not all. It depends on what the child's passion is. If they're into technology, or computer literate, they're the one who can easily understand about it. Just like my little brother. I was really surprised when I mentioned bitcoin with my mom, and he was like "Oh I know a bit about it". And he was only 11 years old. And my mom told me that I should teach him about bitcoin. And I was like "for real?!" I just can't imagine my brother earning bitcoin at a young age.
663  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Finally philipine will start to draft a law to legalize bitcoin on: October 16, 2017, 07:34:32 AM
This is a good news however, baka naman patawan ng tax ang cryptocurrency dito saten. kapag nangyari yung lalo ng magiging mahal ang mag encash ng crypto to php (fiat) and vice versa.

Salamat din nai - up tong thread na to. nakakayamot n kase ung pampadami thread.  Grin
Good news nga naman talaga. Pero natatakot akong ilegalize ang bitcoin. Baka ang government na ang mag control sa bitcoin at bubuwisan na nila to. Sana naman hindi yan mangyari.
664  Economy / Economics / Re: What will happen if we use a one currency only? on: October 16, 2017, 03:54:39 AM
Having one currency is not a good idea due to being highly impractical. If there is only one currency, then it had to bear the burden of many under-developed economies. It would likely do more harm than good if we only have one currency.
665  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is it risky to turn all my money to bitcoins? on: October 15, 2017, 11:26:22 AM
You mean putting all the eggs in the same basket? Of course it's not safe. Bitcoin is a great asset, but it is still in its early stage, which brings a high risk level. Besides that, eventually you will need money to cover the costs of your daily expenses, and if you have to do this when Bitcoin falls in price, you may regret not having saved some fiat.
Indeed! It's really a high risk. Bitcoin is so volatile and it is very possible that it's price will drop very low and that will let you lose all your money if you turn all your money into bitcoin. Aside from that, we need fiat for our daily necessities, there are only few stores who accepts bitcoin as mode of payment. And as far as I know, there are none malls who accepts bitcoin.
666  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you convince people into you using Bitcoin? on: October 15, 2017, 04:22:37 AM
I知 gonna convince them by telling the basic of bitcoin. If they don稚 believe me, then I知 gonna show my proofs of earnings and then I知 gonna leave them. I don稚 have time to force them. And I知 pretty sure they値l be the one to come with me and ask me about bitcoin.
667  Economy / Economics / Re: Why have Bitcoin instead of cash? on: October 15, 2017, 03:39:20 AM
I think because using bitcoin is more easier that bringing cash specially if you are in a vacation. All you need is internet and your electronics  for faster transactions. And also in bitcoin you can grow your money  because of the growing price of bitcoin everyday. You can gain profits by just having bitcoin in your wallet unlike cash. I think thats the best features of bitcoin.
Yeah, and you can freely have big amount of bitcoin in your wallet. People might think you are poor but they don't know what's inside your wallet. This would also prevent from being holdup and no one can steal your bitcoin. Unlike cash, it's easy to steal and prone to holdup.

669  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin prices rise high on: October 11, 2017, 06:38:26 AM
After bitcoin's dump, it recovers for how many weeks and it continue to soar high. Bitcoin became more popular as its price continuously increasing. And that is the reason why a lot of people quit in their regular job and prefer bitcoin.
670  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Problem Gamblers here who are in Debt ? on: October 10, 2017, 07:53:34 AM
Gambling is not a life of happiness but just one of the ways to get fun. But if one thing that they can't afford to get these fun then, there are many other ways people can spend their free time and get entertainment. We have to know better about ourselves so that we could be calm and realized if how gambling affects to our life if we going to debt of its.
671  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The best way to quit gambling for good on: October 09, 2017, 09:03:46 AM
For me, you need to be self motivation so that you can able to help yourself for totally quitting in gambling. You can also focus  in other activities such as biking, jogging, basketball and other things that could make yourself busy and that could be considered as a best way to forget gambling for real.
672  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: October 05, 2017, 04:56:01 PM
You can earn big amount of profit when you invest it. But investment is too risky and the worst thing could happen is that you might lose all your money when you don't have knowledge or if you don't do some research on what you are investing. On the other hand, saving bitcoin is also profitable but you need to wait for how many years just to earn big amount of profit. If you want to earn big amount of profit in a short period of time, then go for investment but if you're willing to wait then go for saving. It's really up to you.
673  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you save bitcoin for fun or for future purpose? on: October 05, 2017, 04:22:38 PM
I save bitcoin for future purposes. I save it for my future financial needs. Also, I wanted to earn higher profit as much as possible because I am planning to buy a house and lot. If time will come that the price of bitcoin reaches my target price, then I would definitely sell it coz I know, by that time I can be able to buy it.
674  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin now the strongest currency in the world? on: October 05, 2017, 03:19:42 PM
Bitcoin is gradually breaking through into the future, but for now we can't say it's the strongest. Regardless of current price now. In addition many other counties have not heard of bitcoin.
Bitcoin is still not the strongest currency in the world as there are still a lot of countries that doesn't even know what it is. And a lot of bitcoin users convert their coins into fiat since there are only few stores who accepts bitcoin as mode of payment. For it to become the world strongest currency, it needs to be legalized. But for me, I don't want it to be legalized. I'm contented with the current status of bitcoin now.
675  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Will Kill The Income Tax on: October 05, 2017, 02:43:50 PM
Unfortunately, in my country you still have to pay taxes when you are cashing out your coins and also you cannot cash them all out you can only do in in a limit this way you have to pay a lot of taxes if you want to cash everything out.
Yeah, I guess we're in the same country. We can't really avoid cashing out our coins coz we need fiat to buy stuffs. There are only few stores who accepts bitcoin as mode of payment and there are no malls that accept bitcoin. That is why we can't really avoid paying taxes if we convert our coins into fiat.
676  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling loses and wins on: October 05, 2017, 12:30:04 PM
It had been a losing streak and it hurts.  Cry
There is no way I could get it back but I am still playing the game thinking I could somehow take what had been lost even just a part of it will be okay for me.
It had been an unlucky week but I am hoping for tomorrow to be another day that will keep me from playing more.
Actually winning in the game is very hard even playing many times. You will always lose the game thats why I play often in gambling.

For me whether you play online or or in casinos mostly you will end up in a losses the longer you stay or keep playing continuously as proven in statistics. Could you share how many of the loses and win ratio is online and well that of casinos? Unless you play for fun chances of your addiction and losing in any case will be high.
That is why only a few people win on the long run when gambling because the higher you won so is your bet due to being tempted on your wining streak without even noticing that you're on the losing streak already so it's better to quit gambling once you've won already but that too is very hard to figure out because of the temptation we feel when winning.
Yeah, I know what you wanted to point out. When playing gambling we want to win because that's the reason of why we play gambling. But we don't notice immediately that we are already losing because we are really enjoying the game so we just want to continue to play. Until after we play gambling, that's the time that we just notice that we lose already a lot of money, when we just wanted to play several games and try our luck to win some bitcoin/money but we just lose a lot more than we expected.
I totally agree! It always happen when we gamble. After we win, we play again hoping that we can double or triple our winnings. Aside from that, we wanted to feel the intense, the excitement and the fun when we play that it pushed us to gamble more.

677  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin benefit of saving for a long time? on: October 05, 2017, 09:58:47 AM
For me, saving it for a long time is too risky as we don't really know if the price would still keep on increasing or keep on decreasing. I guess you need to set a target price when would you like to sell it. If it hits your target within this year, then sell it right away. Why would you wait for another year if it already reaches your target? You have to be wise in holding your money.
678  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to Turn Gambling into a Profitable Activity on: October 04, 2017, 03:33:11 PM
Gambling is not a profitable activity, it is a just for entertainment purposes wherein we gamble just to have fun. We can't always win when we gamble, so it doesn't make it profitable. I guess you may invest in gamling for you to have a profit.

Gambling whenever can be never be a profitable things. I don't where did you get that question that gambling can be a good things. Most happened for the gambler in gambling are always loss and winning in the games was very seldom to be happen.

I guess you misunderstood him mate. Maybe what he is trying to imply is that if you really want to earn profit in gambling, you may invest your money in a gambling site or whatever it is. That's what I understand in his statement. Anyway, I also agree with you. You can never always win at gambling, unless you were born very lucky. And investing is really risky, if you invest your money in gambling, you don't have an assurance if you'll earn a profit or you'll lose your investment.
679  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Should I Choose Bitcoin ?? on: October 04, 2017, 01:31:41 PM
Bitcoin is more convenient to use. You don't need to travel just to make transaction. And  in terms of usage you can use bitcoin for paying bills, money transfer and etc. But what I like most is that it is being decentralized.  No one has the power to control it, not even the government.
680  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying Drugs with Bitcoin ? on: October 03, 2017, 09:10:40 AM
It is very difficult to buy drugs with bitcoin. If only you are not a major drug dealer or an inveterate addict)))
I don't have any idea if you can buy drugs using bitcoin. Is there someone who's willing to accept bitcoin as mode of payment in buying drugs? If there is, I don't think the law enforcer would know that you bought drugs since transactions in bitcoin is anonymous. No one knows your identity. Anyway, I don't have plans to buy drugs and I don't use drugs. Lastly, if someone has a plan to buy drugs using bitcoin, please don't you ever do it. Bitcoin was created for the things that can be more useful for us. Let us not ruin the image of bitcoin by using it in illegal activities.
