Just install NXT client and run the AE...I mean, how hard can it be? If you're going to make tokens for tokens for NEM, will that make things easier for people who aren't able to open a 1 click client?

But buying NXT aint that easy if you dont have BTC already... He (UP) was talking about buying NEM with BTC, not fiat. If you can figure out to get BTC, you can get NEM. btc-->bter-->download next-client-->send nxt form bter to client-->AE. Half an hour of clicking and following instructions... Making things as easy as possible for new users is key. We need to embrace all avenues of distribution not just tokens via AE. for a new user 1 exchange fiat - btc 2 exchange btc - nxt 3 exchange nxt - NEM token 4 exchange token - NEM bit of a process and time consuming seeking fair prices, for average joe right now. I mean that it is lots of easier to buy first BTC, straight via bank transfer and after that change to the NEM in some site made only that purpose. For instance, when total newbie take a look at sites like BTER, im pretty confident that first thought would not be like "im gonna put my hard earned money there". Do you see your mom or dad using site kind like that or professional looking site with clearly instructions how to buy NEM etc ?  And newcomers have to deal with nxt-client and asset exchange, which aint that easy to use if you are complete new to cryptos... |

 didnt see that in AE to much buy support arround 17500. I think I stake some now. Don´t think it´s gonna be cheaper. just wait til the next batch of stakes are sent out.. it will go bellow that! the amout of token will be up to 1000?? WOW there has been less than 300 sent out so far so the market is constantly being diluted. this will continue until there is a surge in buying(when alpha comes out) so until people stop claiming stakes or the alpha comes out, nem will continue to decline. perhaps down to around 10k.... IMO not so sure it will go that way, many of the guys who were ragea to sell stakes have sold allready and guys who now claim their stakes could be doing so for different reasons (security, options to sell when price surge etc). Cannot really never predict the markets that easily. Do we have any data, which tell how many people have claimed their stakes but not received yet? I feel little odd to se kodtycoon constantly telling that price will go down and so on, What's the point to do so..... just wait for the next batch to go out... youl see what im talking about Even it wil go like you have predicted. Look at the AE now, seems to dumping has stopped.  just some big stakeholders selling. There are no big stakeholders - people were limited to 1 stake, occasionally some were allowed 2. Unless this is a "sockpuppet boogeyman post". The time it takes to create new accounts, change IPs and bypass taint analysis meant the sockpuppet thing is a non-issue (although there was one troll who claimed to be from Ukraine and had 50 stakes. The troll couldn't even find Ukraine on the map before Euromaidan). The reality is that a lot of people signed up for NEM stake, since it was cheap, but never knew what it was - so naturally they see an opportunity to exchange their stake (which they've held for almost half a year) for NxT and this explains the dumping at the moment. Although we are referring to a very small demographic. Only like 250 (out of 2800) stakeholders have requested tokens to trade on the AE, and some requested tokens with no intent to trade. Sorry to say, it is not a sockpuppet boogeyman post Though, i dont have a stake but yeah m buying only when the FINAL PRODUCT is released. The post was related to the hype it had created. Ppl demanding 30 BTC, 10 BTC etc. etc. Nice to know What about situation, when after launch price will be 10BTC per stake and you miss the bus, ouch! |

it's a disappointing experience to see that against all expectations of thread members, the price of nemstakes (AE) is steadily decreasing.
I was one of the first buyers and now I have to suffer from my greed.
Volume continues to go up. It appears it's people dumping their stakes. This was vaguely expected, considering what people reserved their stakes for, but they'll be gone a lot quicker than say a hypothetical whale who controls a large percentage of a coin and is dumping it no matter what damage it may bring. It could be a whale buying them up. Even worse would be a whale buying it up purely to sabotage the coin. Just playing devils advocate here, as overall i think the AE is a good idea. But it would be foolish to not consider all possible outcomes. Even with this said, i think the AE is a success in many ways and bodes well for the future value of this coin. At the moment price seems to hold, not so many stakes anymore at sell in 20 000 nxt level, just a couple. So lets see! |

I'm really confused. How can i get a NEM stake. Please can someone advise this noob? I don't have a NXT wallet or an account on the asset exchange at this point in time. Many key people in NXT DID NOT have a big stake, so keeping them motivated is an ongoing problem.
I call BS on this. Do you have *any* idea how active https://nxtforum.org is? Take a look at https://nxtforum.org/index.php#c3 and tell us if the other 9 coins in the top 10 combined have as many ongoing projects as Nxt.
