The whole "asscrack reward for the first xxx blocks" is an extremely flawed concept. All it does is give people with large farms time to retarget and let morons who can barely figure out how to pool mine let alone solo herpaderp their way onto a coin.

I've seen this mentioned a couple times in the thread and i'm seeing it as well... Just wondering if the numbers are legit or not
3 different ati cards in 1 rig. a 5870, 6970 and a 7970. When running groestl for myr i'm seeing 12.3mh on the 7970, 12.7mh on the 5870 and
a whopping 15.11mh on the 6970. This is solomining with the waller conf properly set to groestl.
I was going to sign up for the one pool listed for myr/groestl to check and see if shares are actually getting accepted but they have it posted
that shares don't report correctly... so... thoughts?
I run several 7850 at 6-6.5mh on groestl. Your 5870 and 6970 hasrates look too good to be true That was my thought as well. I let it crank overnight and it came back with a fair number of blocks. So, i guess it's actually working.. |

Guys, check out the development of auroracoin. It is poised to replaced LTC in coin market cap... (okay, the huge premine artificially inflates the market cap of course, the only tradable coins at the moment are the freshly mined ones!)
The only major risk is that the intended airdrop to Icelanders will be a major disaster. In this case, expect the coin to crash...

you accidentally what The entire blockchain. My GPU isn't working anymore now and I don't know what to do  What happened? I had the same problem. My Gpus fucked up and the screen was flickering and turning black even after restarting it. After 40 minutes it started working again. It's very scary, because it's a lot of money lost if damaged. I had Vertminer going and it seemed to be working, found a few blocks but then suddenly the screen went funny and when it came back on the entire blockchain had accidentally. My PC keeps shutting down now, it won't even boot up any more. It better not be permanently damaged, the entire rig was worth over 9000 dollars. It was OVER 9000?!?! |
