No one is taking over this coin. I am the developer and I always will be unless someone wants to partner with me. I am really sick of reading posts about community takeover.

So here's the deal... You, the Dreamcoin community, have to make some hard decisions, and tell me what's really important. Cause I can do development fast, but to do that, I need to US dollars to pay my bills and possibly hire other people.

But I'd rather do **high quality work** rather than another quick pump-and-dump. That is NOT going to come quickly, and might involve dramatically changing some coin fundamentals, because there are a lot of broken fundamentals in different places because someone grabs something derived from the Satoshi bitcoin client, makes a change, and doesn't fully understand what they are doing.

Satoshi had a brilliant concept with blockchains, and Bitcoin was a great first implementation. Proof of stake was a pretty interesting addition. Now we have Dreamcoin, which has a great name. But you don't achieve your dreams without making a few mistakes, and learning from them along the way. So here's an idea.. wouldn't Dreamcoin be the ideal coin for a fully distributed crowdfunding system, like http://blog.vinumeris.com/2014/05/17/lighthouse/ ?

I could probably implement (and most importantly, test) some sort of ring signatures and/or darkcoin-like anonymity protections for $50k to $100K USD in a couple of months. If there's no money, and I'm doing this in my spare time, it might be 6 to 18 months. It might be a lot faster if there is a community that comes together out of something more that just the 'next big coin'.

Dear jdwlupine, in my personal opinion, nobody should leave because different ideas, we need to get together not split out.
Dear CS, thanks you and AC team got my BTC back, you're really a nice guy. But the issue 2 new dev to take over, this is not up to you or me but the all community members, at first please discuss with trademark this matter in peace, he is still the community manger you promised to support a few days ago.  Hopely you guys have the same opinions on the dev. Thanks all your efforts.

Dude, u do ur thing. I have no doubt that the big fish in our DRM pond will respond kindly to the efforts of all involved when solid progress is made, with resultant upward mobility in the exchanges.

Like Vie said, for the big holders, selling now is a crazy.  Simply much smarter for them to buy more at these cheap prices and increase their coin count, in the hope that the coin rises to great heights, than to sell all they hold and kill the coin completely. Also note, guys, that the big fish hold and trade OTHER coins, not to mention they also mine, activities from which they derive a good income. For such individuals, I imagine that betting on coins and watching said coins succeed is infinitely more rewarding -- both Financial and Psychic Rewards -- than recovering a few "cents on the dollar", as they say. Because if i still need to point it out, these individuals can spare a dime or two.

So now that we have a couple of elite coders -- oh yeah, baby! not just one, but TWO elite coders -- who have agreed to work on the anon features of DRM, lets wait to hear from them about the good work being done. Regular progress reports will make DRM regain favor in the eyes of the crypto community, just u guys wait!

The best things are yet to come. Let's make our richlisters richer, and I have faith they will remember who among the community did the heavy lifting, and who kept injecting sheer negativity into the effort of building up DRM coin.

Hold onto ur DRMs, people! Help CS, Icecube45, and other active community members with their efforts. The multipool. The promotional video. Write-ups and articles. Contribute where u can. Inject a positive vibe! Lets kick ass, dreamers! =)

(And those who would prefer to remain on the sidelines, grab ur popcorn and soda and watch on .. spectators certainly enjoy watching an epic saga as it unfolds. However, even as u watch, I just know you'll feel it when its time for u to chime in and contribute. And the community and the price of our DRM coins will respond positively to ur contributions, you can be sure!)

Heh, the prices are great, have to get some more DRMs. Collegestudent, I am with u 100%. There must be other investors out there if MyFarm chooses not to invest. The deadline was anyways too soon, nobody can build revolutionary coin in a week.

I think this speaks volumes if you know MyFarm's history.
