561  Other / Meta / Re: Should this sig be allowed with the mixer ban? on: January 15, 2024, 01:45:59 AM
Yeah bro! What should be allowed exactly? A click bait to a scam ICO run by US government or what? Why don't you question the existence of jambojet with more than 4 mixers  combined under a shell company?

I invite everyone to read my latest post on that topic, exciting news. 🤑

If I remember correctly, you said on rep board that if you ignore me, I'd fade away, how is that going? Looks like I'm just gaining more visibility.

Edit: meep meep! Fixed it, how do you like it boss? Lol
I don't mind some trolling from certain people. You post some funny stuff now and then, it's the morons like the jvan guy that annoy me. This wasn't a dig at you period, although you probably shouldn't try to work around the rules and see how far you can push the mods. You're probably 1 of the only trolls i'd consider hiring in a sig campaign as I feel people actually read some of the shit you post.
562  Other / Meta / Should this sig be allowed with the mixer ban? on: January 15, 2024, 01:25:01 AM

While it may or may not fall under the same category as other banned companies, should this be allowed?
563  Other / Meta / Re: was gambling board restricted from merits? on: January 14, 2024, 06:27:00 PM
Pretty spot on assessment and exactly what I was thinking when I went through the OPs merit history.

@OP while you are free to spend your merit as you see fit, you really IMO shouldn't make a topic about merit if you are wasting them. For example: I see you gave 8 merits to Cryptoprenuerboss for the launch of a sig campaign. Nothing wrong with that except the fact that he is already a legendary, and it's a sig campaign thread. Nothing important unless someone needs a job. So as lovesmyfamilis said, just give 1 merit to posts and you can merit more people vs running out.
Thank you very much my good manager I will adjust so I won't run out of merit, actually I didn't see that as a problem but giving out willing but I understand what you both are saying.
You are both correct maybe if that I was spreading only 1 as my mentor does i could have had some reserved, I was only moved by the saying don't hoard merits there is no essence of keeping them back. Wait a bit, could this be an attributes to why some people don't merits my post?

I know my post are of quality enough to receive merits but seems they aren't giving except I reported them to merits source, must people report a post before they could give someone merits I think that is why the work load is increasing everyday because if they give merits to post that are quality enough there is no way they will have hundreds of profiles requesting for a review.
Every post that 1 makes will not get merit man. Not 1 single user on the forum gets every post merited and believe me, we have some damn great quality posters who deserve more then they get.

You also need to consider that what you think is a quality post, may not be considered the same by other users. What makes you so confident? You using AI or just confident in your posts?

Here's what I see. You are active, you are earning a dollar, you have earned over 200 merits in the last 120 days. I think you're doing just fine. There are many who would be happy with what you have/are achieving currently.
564  Other / Meta / Re: was gambling board restricted from merits? on: January 14, 2024, 05:42:24 PM
I have also gone through the gambling sections there are quality post I do finds out but I can't barely merits them because I am not a merits source neither do I have merits to spray like those who are with enough merits to send across.

On the other hand, if you look at how you distribute your merits, then instead of giving 3–4 merits to one person, you could easily appreciate a high-quality post in the gambling section by giving one merit each

565  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Another question? Tell me your average amount per bet and your monthly income? on: January 14, 2024, 03:58:16 PM
Seems that this is a little too invasive IMO. Average bet is fine, but no one needs to know what anyone's monthly income is unless they are an agent of the IRS or whatever the financial entity is of your country.

Back on the subject, my average bet is small 20-40$ as I like to bet parlays. High risk/high reward. Sometimes smaller if putting in alot of teams(6-10).
566  Other / Meta / Re: was gambling board restricted from merits? on: January 14, 2024, 01:13:16 AM

Please is there anything I am yet to understand about the gambling section whereas other sections are circulating merits enough, even our Nigerian local board merits source needs to increased his allocation if not for someone who has volunteered to be sending across the locals.
Though have promised myself not to raised any topic that talks about merits maybe it seems I will have to apply as one who knows if I will accepted, and the issues here is that theymos isnt giving us enough attention that is needed. I know he is a very busy person yes I don't need to bug him because there is a lot to face on but at least he should recognized us by additionally adding one merits source to us we the Nigeria local board and the child board we the local poster will forever be grateful for that.
How many active Nigerian posters are there? I'm sure that will factor into the decision on whether to add more merit sources for that board as well as the quality of the posters in that section might play a role in the decision as well.

I think we have plenty of merit sources personally, but not my call. Gambling board has a lack of merits due to the content being posted. A large % of the posts on the gambling boards is spam and deserves 0 merits.

People worry too much about merit. It'll come when it comes. It's not a race around here to rank up regardless of you wanting to earn more in a signature campaign. Most could care less if users rank up or not. Don't be in a rush.
567  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: The story of Betnomi.com (Exit Scam) on: January 14, 2024, 12:52:19 AM
The refund drama of Betnomi hasn't ended successfully yet. People are still waiting to get their funds back.

In the meantime, Betnomi team (Sorsis and other admin of their telegram group) is back with a new project. They may refund a part of the users to gain the trust again for their new project, but everyone should remember the shady things and behaviour of Betnomi team.

No one knows how bigger and long lasting their new scam project will be. Perhaps, they will finalize everything by observing the reaction of the gambling community after the refund drama.
No matter how many users they do end up refunding their rep is still never going to be completely back to good. The way this all transpired cost them more then they realize. The lack of communication was devastating for them.
568  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Golfing Match Prediction Discussions - Golf and Crypto on: January 13, 2024, 07:22:36 PM
I have never found golf to be all that exciting to watch. I have enjoyed playing it a few times in my life, but watching it is like watching baseball. Almost makes me want to take a nap if that's the only thing on tv.

We all have our likes and dislikes I suppose.
569  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: You'll be a discipline gambler in sports if you have a real bankroll. on: January 13, 2024, 06:58:24 PM
Do you believe that you will be more disciplined in sports betting if you have a dedicated bankroll?

According to the article I read, when you gamble without a proper bankroll, you are likely to make mistakes. One of the main errors is chasing losses because you are using money not intended for gambling, such as funds meant for paying bills and rent.

Let's consider an example:

Suppose you have a monthly salary of $500, and you can only afford to gamble $50, which is 10% of your salary. This $50 should ideally last for one month of gambling. However, if you don't treat it as your bankroll and believe you can replenish it from your salary when you lose, you are likely to lose focus. This may lead you to use funds that are meant for your basic needs.

So the question is, can you manage with $50 as your total monthly bankroll, or would you rather increase it and risk losing money that is not meant for such purposes?
No risk=no reward. Gotta go balls to the wall and get your money back IMO lol. Truth is, most aren't going to be disciplined, they're going to lose it all in 1 day or win big to lose the next day.
570  Other / Meta / Re: Have the rules of the DT system and Forum rules amended ? ? theymos on: January 13, 2024, 05:37:27 PM
I think there's quite a few who use the DT system incorrectly, likely including myself at times. Some use feedback as a notepad, some use it as a weapon, some use it to control, and some use it only for trades. A decent number of the people on DT have no idea how to use it and there's also a few that look to join ranks(DT gang) and use the system in a corrupt way(I have no proof per say, just my feeling on a few members).

I think we give too much respect to scam busters and people who find alts in the past. Most of the time they did a good job, but over time the quality of their tags went downhill. I'm talking overall, not just any one specific user.

Without a reputation system many started tagging scammers, spammers, and account sellers making lines become blurred. Honestly, if users are engaging in what some consider "shady" activities, they prob aren't really to be trusted in a trade. Is the system perfect, no but it's what we have.

If you have a suggestion of how to make the system better, by all means share it with us.
571  Other / Meta / Re: Did you notice something a little weird? on: January 13, 2024, 01:47:19 PM
Yes, notice that but I don't think there's anything weird about it because it's a very short time.
Really?  How are you defining "short time" exactly, because I've noticed what OP's talking about for a long time now (usually when I'm doing post history reviews), and I could swear it's taken minutes sometimes before the merits I've sent are reflected in the recipient's count.

I never thought much of this issue, as I figured it was just another little glitch in the forum software--sort of like how it's incredibly slow to use the search function, you know?  I think that New Forum Software is just a masturbation parade, but if there really is something new in the works I'm hoping some small "problems" like this get fixed.  I'm not keeping my fingers crossed, though.

However I noticed that when I send someone some merit for example , it takes a little more time than it used to before it reflects in the users profile especially higher rank members.
That's pretty normal for browsers sometimes it's just cache of your browser that needed a hard refresh especially if you're not fond of deleting it regularly.
Is it that?  Because I've seen the merit stat change without my browser's cache being cleared....I don't know, maybe I'll try a little experiment the next time I'm reviewing posts.  Thanks for that bit of input.
usually 5-10 minutes before the profile shows the updated merit point. It's the same way if you see a user lacking 5 merits to rank up and they have the activity, there will be a delay in them showing the next rank after you send them the required merit.

Probably not a big deal since it's not days delay.
572  Economy / Reputation / Re: irfan_pak10 is a scammer on: January 12, 2024, 09:42:00 PM
I hope OP's original account is not banned yet from this forum Grin and could watch this great news released today from Combo, I know they delayed payment, but eventually, they paid, I never lost hope, During that time most people started calling me a scammer and started abusing us, and they did same to the Combo team. I'm sure they all claimed tokens today, And I'll be very happy if OPs original ID could claim his token too. But please next time, do read the bounty guidelines and watch whom you are tagging a scammer tag, as it was not under our control to distribute those tokens. We were just here to handle the bounty campaign and give clients complete sheets for distribution.

@OP here is how you can claim tokens

🔛 Check if you are eligible: https://combonetwork.io/bounty

🎁 Follow the Guide here: https://bit.ly/48vVXCz
People come in here all the time making accusations and do not really understand how bounties work. They don't understand that as a manager, unless you have the tokens in escrow, you cannot control when the team actually releases them. Teams delay all the time and a decent number of times teams just disappear and pay 0.

Good luck on this dude showing back up to apologize. He probably had 10 accounts in the campaign and just wanted to get his dime real fast before he got caught.
573  Economy / Gambling / Re: JustCasino.io | Get the Best Crypto Casino Experience on: January 12, 2024, 05:01:34 PM
With all these countries that are restricted from playing in your casino, who and who is going to play there? Because you have more than 30 countries restricted from playing in your casino, even Nigeria, which I hardly find casinos that restrict people from my country from playing, is part of the restrictions.

Well, this is something that has to do with your policy and legal system, but then again, even as my country is part of the restricted areas, I can still can access the site and proceed with registration, and if I had not been smart enough to go through the TOS, I would have fallen victim to breaking one of the policies. I would suggest you guys restrict people from the restricted countries from accessing the casino because not everyone always takes the time to read the policy before proceeding with deposits and placing bets.

Quote
Users from the following countries and their territories (“Restricted Countries”) are not allowed to deposit and play real money games: Greece, United States of America, United Kingdom, Spain, France and its overseas territories (Guadeloupe, Martinique, French Guiana, Réunion, Mayotte, French Polynesia, New Caledonia), Netherlands, Israel, Lithuania, Dutch West Indies, Curacao, Gibraltar, Jersey, Czech Republic, Serbia, North Korea,Russia, Cuba, Georgia, Portugal, Hungary, Estonia, Ukraine, Belarus, Åland Islands, Norfolk Island, Latvia,Romania,Belgium, Hong Kong, Bangladesh, Bulgaria, Iran, Nigeria, Malaysia, Antarctica, Albania, Tanzania, Chad, Honduras, Israel,Macedonia, Andorra,Trinidad and Tobago, Guam, Bahamas, Western Sahara, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Singapore, Barbados, Cambodia, El Salvador, Liechtenstein, British Indian Ocean Territory, Fiji,China, Christmas Island, Bolivia, Greenland, Faroe Islands, Palestine, Indonesia, Aruba, Benin, Bermuda, Seychelles, South Georgia and the South Sandwich Islands,Vietnam, Taiwan, Ecuador, San Marino, Samoa, Guatemala,Holy See (Vatican City State), Lao People's Democratic Republic, Cayman Islands,Dominican Republic,Cook Islands, Tonga, Guernsey, Vanuatu, Virgin Islands, Belize, Montenegro, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Niger, Gabon, Swaziland, Panama, Congo Democratic Republic of the Congo, Ghana, Lithuania, Dominica, Burundi, Bouvet Island, Togo, Northern Mariana Islands, Wallis and Futuna, Tokelau, Suriname, Saint Lucia, Sri Lanka, Mauritius , Zambia, Paraguay, Botswana, Saint Martin (French part),Djibouti, Isle of Man, Zimbabwe, Saint Pierre and Miquelon, Jamaica, Solomon Islands, Falkland Islands (Malvinas), Senegal, Cameroon, Cabo Verde, Kenya, Kyrgyzstan, Anguilla, Tuvalu, Cocos (Keeling) Islands, Antigua and Barbuda, Guinea, Brunei Darussalam, Bonaire, Tajikistan, Sao Tome and Principe, Côte d'Ivoire, Guadeloupe, Angola, Madagascar, Heard Island and McDonald Islands, Montserrat, Mozambique, Nepal, Pakistan, Central African Republic, Guyana, Guinea-Bissau, Nauru, Turks and Caicos Islands, Bhutan, Myanmar, Namibia,Gibraltar, Kiribati, Malawi, Equatorial Guinea, Saint Helena, Nicaragua, Saint Barthélemy, Mali, Republic of the Congo, Syrian Arab Republic, Pitcairn, Eritrea, Rwanda, Burkina Faso, South Sudan,United States Minor Outlying Islands,Palau,Ethiopia,Libya, New Caledonia, Gambia, Niue, Maldives, French Polynesia, Yemen, Macao, Turkmenistan, Grenada, Somalia, Uganda, Micronesia, Timor-Leste, Sint Maarten (Dutch part), Mauritania, Marshall Islands, Comoros, Azerbaijan, Algeria, Iraq,Armenia,Philippines,Svalbard and Jan Mayen,American Samoa, Poland, Afghanistan, Moldova,Costa Rica,Venezuela,Colombia. The Casino cannot guarantee the successful processing of withdrawals or refunds if a player breaches this Restricted Countries policy.
I just googled the number of countries in the world and 195 came up. Reading all these restricted countries on the list, it might be easier for casinos to list who IS allowed vs who ISN'T allowed to play. 95% of the world seems to be on this list. Some are islands and do not count as countries but over 200 in total restricted areas.

Nothing against JustCasino as they're just listing their terms. Just amazing how many are against online gambling.

575  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does signing up with affiliate links gives these benefits? on: January 12, 2024, 03:04:57 PM
Many youtubers and friends share their referral codes/affiliate links, saying you will get bonuses, real money, or free spins. but I wonder if casinos give extra help or benefits in some different situations.

For example, when someone wins a big multiplier and multiplies their account by 100x, then some casinos take a long time to process the withdrawal, or they may not even give the money. however, some say that if you sign up using a good affiliate or influencer affiliate code which have huge audience, then you won't face these type issues. also, if you promote the casino using your referral link, they might not hold back your withdrawal because you helped them get new customers.

is this kind of things is considered shady practice, or is it considered fair in the online gambling world?
If you deposited, played a game, and won fairly then there should be no issue cashing out your winnings as long as you completed the playthrough that casino might have and are of a legal jurisdiction. Any casino imposing restrictions to you before allowing you to cashout such as you must promote them or whatever, is a casino that needs to be red trusted and not on this site any longer. Shady behavior is despicable.
576  Other / Meta / Re: Save your nice merit records here - LAST UPDATE: 12/07/2023 on: January 12, 2024, 02:53:39 PM
Congratulations yahoo62278 on your nice record from 1234 to 4321  a merit countdown indeed

Congratulations to one of the best and trusted
manager @yahoo62279 for achieving another milestones here in our community  4321 merit count is quiet good enough to display in Op's thread as we all know how great is the decreasing number. Anyways  next stop is 4567 which is pretty sure you will achieve it not for long maybe in the Middle of the year or els quarter.

Mia Chloe this is a good catch mate you did it congrats.
Thanks, I don't really keep track of merit stuff as I am already a top rank on the forum. I appreciate when people give me a merit here and there and I spread em out where I can.
577  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are You Buying More Tickets To Increase Your chances on: January 12, 2024, 12:33:48 PM
This is for lotto bettors :

Lotto is so popular here in our country that there's a lotto outlet on just about every corner of cities and towns in our country just the other day there was a long line of bettors because the Lotto 6/55 jackpot skyrocketed to P571,554,916.40 or $10,206,337 after no winners for a long time.

I don't usually bet on 6/55 Lottery only 6/42 and 6/45 because the probability is just too high on 6/55 but I have to take chances because of the huge jackpot, every bettor's chances are equal so from not usually betting 6/55 I am betting now and will continue betting until the jackpot is hit,  and so from buying two tickets I'm buying 10 tickets now to increase my chances the ticket cost 20 pesos here or $0.36.

How about you as a Lotto bettor do you buy more tickets when the prize skyrocketed and how many more tickets are you adding

PCSO: No winner for P574-M Grand Lotto 6/55 jackpot

When you purchase your tickets are you picking your own numbers and changing them on every ticket or do you take random numbers and pray? Either way, hitting a big jackpot is like 1 in a billion or something crazy, stars have to align for you to win. I don't waste my money on those things.

If you spend $3.60 per week, you are wasting $187.20  a year. Money better spent on something else.
578  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where have all the low volatility slots gone??? on: January 12, 2024, 12:05:04 AM
If you want volatility you play a hacksaw slot. high risk high reward. If you want low volatility go play big bass bonanza from pragmatic. All slots, online at least, show the RTP and IMO the bigger the RTP to lower the volatility.

You can go to stake.com and play the enhanced RTP games as well and lower the volatility.
579  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's your thoughts on VIP Programs in casinos? on: January 11, 2024, 05:55:42 PM
Greetings to all forum users!

I want to learn more about casino VIP programs from the perspective of real players. And as my last poll showed, this forum is full of people willing to share their opinions!

I would be grateful if you could share your opinion on VIP programs and answer the following questions:

1. Is the VIP program important to you when choosing a casino?

2. Do you use the benefits of the VIP program consciously (i.e. check the requirements for level up, check level up rewards, etc.)?

3. What information about the VIP program are you most interested in? What do you pay attention to when deciding whether to participate in the VIP program?

4. If you are or have been a high-level VIP at a casino, what are the biggest advantages you have found for yourself?

5. Questions for high-level VIPs. What's the craziest thing a casino has ever done for you?

Feel free to write any thoughts you have about VIP programs in the comments section below. Thank you all in advance for your attention and responses!
Quote
1. Is the VIP program important to you when choosing a casino?
VIP program is not as important as trusted in the community. VIP program makes me curious but that's about it.

Quote
2. Do you use the benefits of the VIP program consciously (i.e. check the requirements for level up, check level up rewards, etc.)?
I just collect bonuses when they come, no need to continuosly check on them. Usually most sites a pop up or message comes when you can use something or claim something.

Quote
3. What information about the VIP program are you most interested in? What do you pay attention to when deciding whether to participate in the VIP program?
Is my bonus available for immediate wd or do I have a playthrough. Do I get the bonus based off wager or losses?

Quote
4. If you are or have been a high-level VIP at a casino, what are the biggest advantages you have found for yourself?
Biggest advantage is maybe the fact that you get free money at random points. Some casinos give VIPs free oney weekly, some monthly, some at random intervals. It's just nice to get some free play or cashback.

Question 5 is irrelevant as I have never had anything crazy happen for me.
