Sorry about the delay guys, the btc cron job went down. It's a catchable error so I'll be fixing that today, then it shouldn't happen again. BTC deposits have been credited and should work fine now.

Same question about MRO deposits - I made one last night that's still waiting to show up.  Thanks!
Just finished the MRO/BCN wallets, deposits should show up now.

Perfect exchange. My first deposit for 2mil bcn dismissed. Still no moey after 3 hours.
As I said in the FAQ the wallets are not exactly reliable and can freeze. I am manually resetting bytecoin right now, if you don't have the funds after 1 hour let me know.
564  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: CryptoNote Exchange on: May 12, 2014, 09:52:00 AM
Withdraws are sent manually, currently at least every 24 hour. Once I get a better system down I'm hoping to complete these many times per day and faster. I rather spend longer and make sure it's right than risk anything. If that makes you want to do business elsewhere I don't mind, I can't please everyone.

Until now it's working fine. I have no time pressure on withdrawing money, up to 24 hours is ok. I prefer the money is secure. What I miss is a better overview over my own orders.

I knew withdrawals were manual and I'm more than fine with that. In my case, it's (BCN) deposits that aren't appearing. Are those manual or automatic?
Automatic. But the wallet was frozen, I have just reset it and it seems all BCN balances are now up to date. Let me know if it did not appear.

Also all pending withdraws has just been processed.

I'm proud to announce the world's first exchange for cryptonote currencies: https://cryptonote.exchange.to

The guys over at monero.cc has already put out an announcement.

Quote

The world’s first exchange for Monero just opened!

A beta test was done in partnership with the Monero developers and the end result was very satisfying. The exchange is operational and new features will be released soon.

Inauguration bonus (rewards distributed, check your balance on the exchange):

The first 10 first users will be credited 10 MRO each.
The 10 first depositers will be credited 20 MRO.
Beta testers will receive a little surprise in their account after they sign up again.

cryptonote.exchange.to

You need javascript enabled to access the exchange. Fees are 0.5%.

This exchange doesn’t invalidate the OTC thread. The OTC thread is still open and the price chart will still be updated for the time being but you are encouraged to switch to the exchange – nevertheless, remember this exchange is not and “official monero exchange” or an exchange the monero team has control over. Caveat emptor.”

This topic is the official support & discussion and I'd be happy to answer questions here. Feel free to share ideas on how we can improve. I'm looking forward to hear your feedback!

For anyone wondering: the promised bonus has been added.

Our cryptonote addresses:

I prefer bits. 1 BTC = 1,000,000 bits

People are used to having 2 decimals and with bits, that will fit perfectly since bits leaves 2 decimals, e.g 128.24 bits

Since your previous estimates (late march / early april) did not come to fruition, would you be so kind to provide us with a new, realistic estimation for when the testnet will be out?

Well, I just executed arbitrage between Stamp and BTC-e. I have 1100$ more now, though most of my fiat is on BTC-e now, not on Stamp. Hopefully, Putin won't killed BTC-e owners now :Grin

nice, I used to to trade LTC there, but it has been 4 months since my last trade there and I don't have balls to go there again, even if the gap between stamp and BTC-e is $40, the risk is not worth it.... just be careful, at least you know who owns stamp and where to get them if anything goes wrong....

Yeah, I know all exchanges are risk but it's a risk I have to make, otherwise I'd still have 8 BTC worth 5k$
So you traded yourself up more than 10x your initial investment?

Much more, around 70 fold in Bitcoin since end of March 2013. If I would turn all fiat, alts, shares etc in Bitcoins I'd collect over 500 BTC now.
It's easier to trade small amounts but I have to applaud your trading skills, this is pretty amazing.
578  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 24, 2014, 08:52:01 PM
we all talk bullshit here, fight with each other and so on, and that guy on bitcoinbuilder made 1200 BTC in last 24 hours.

:jealousasfuck:

Good idea wasn't it. I need to start working on a jump to conclusions mat.

Don't think he made 1200 BTC though. Volume is 29500 give or take but that's Goxcoins. If we take the day's average it's probably 1/4th to 1/3rd BTC each. 2% of that is 147~197 BTC in fees. Not a bad day's work, obviously.
Fee is 4%, it's 2% from each side. He probably accumulates half BTC and half goxBTC.

I'm having problems as well.  My BTC withdrawl request from Friday hasn't happened, my email to Josh hasn't been answered, and I have a negative balance in one of my addresses - how does that happen?

Finally got my btc out of there.
Same problem here, how did it get solved?
