I just started mining a couple weeks ago after I built a new gaming PC. Crossfired 2x6970 and GUIMiner right now.

Tried slush's pool, didn't get it working.
Tried bitcoinpool.org and they banned me for turning off mining while playing games (i think)
Settled on deepbit because it was easy and had regular payouts.

No arguing about who is doing it wrong, I want to hear about your own personal experience.

What is this?  Sounds interesting, but Googling did not turn much up.  Can you explain what SIP is and how to use it? (So I can decide whether to go through the trouble of installing it on my phone)

Thanks, that was exactly what I was looking for.

I just downloaded the basic Litecoin client and left my computer on overnight mining.  When I click the "Start Mining" button, i get the messaged "Solo Mining Started", but I don't see any Kh/s measure or any indication that I am actually doing any work.  How can I tell if my computer is mining correctly?

Anyone have a recommendation of an easy-to-setup mining program and/or mining pool for litecoin?

What rate can you mine litecoins at with average or top of the line CPUs?

The OP seemed to think that this certification and compliance was fabricated.  CxC looks like a very cool new exchange, but seem like they might be too good to be true.
