561  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Poker v Other casino games online on: September 10, 2017, 04:10:26 PM
We all know how much bitcoin users love dice but I think even poker websites ( bitcoin supporting sites ) also generate same or even more revenue than dice sites . Do you guys play only dice or only poker or both using bitcoins ?

If you are only talking about casino games, then I absolutely prefer poker. Simple because if the game is not rigged, you really have a chance at winning there, if you are good at the game. Also it's a lot more fun that just selecting a color or a number and seeing the result. To be honest I got a little surprised by the votes here. Poker is winning, but if I just go to a table I will not see that many players there, at least compared to fiat poker.

There aren't many votes also, but if this was the tendency of the bitcoin gambling community, and there are more players playing dice etc, that probably means that although users prefer to play poker, they choose not to, probably because they don't like the bitcoin poker houses out there.
562  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Portuguese League Prediction Thread (Primeira Liga) on: September 10, 2017, 04:00:25 PM
I'm quite shocked to see Setubal already winning by two goals vs Braga at first half. We would have to go back 9 years to see Setubal last win against Braga, counting both home and away games. I wonder if Braga will be able to get at least a draw from this match.

It was also a surprise to me, to see both Benfica and Sporting suffering so much to get their wins on their last games. Benfica played very bad and was saved by the new referee system that uses video images to decide on key points of the game that are hard to judge by the referee, and Sporting got their winning goal after 8 minutes of injury time, that is not very common. Only Porto remains incredibly strong right now, with only wins and not even a goal suffered.
563  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: September 09, 2017, 01:24:09 PM
Man City are just ripping apart the 10 men Liverpool side Smiley I am glad I went for Man city -1.5 goals .

According to me , it was a clear Red card no second thoughts .

Liverpool always has these problems, they are just to irregular and I think they will be the same thing as always this season. A strong team that will not surprise anyone either if they win a game by 4, or lose it by 4. This season I will be curious about what United can do. They started well, and right now are the only team with only victories. They had a lot of draws last season, and didn't manage to score many goals lets see how they can handle this game vs Stoke.
564  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2016/17 on: September 09, 2017, 01:15:41 PM
Real Madrid will face Levante Today at home venue.Real madrid will surely win as Levante is not so strong team as Real.Isco, asensio is on very good form so they will score for sure.Ramos will be back on the team. But ronaldo won't play today also. So,Bale, benzema and Lucas will be the striker for today's game.Lastly,I think there will be more than 3 goals from Real madrid.

Real Madrid didn't manage to win the match. They had many opportunities but it seemed that they didn't have luck in some situations.

You are right, but I guess they are kind of missing Ronaldo as well. They did had plenty of opportunities, but Ronaldo brings a lot to their game, and I don't think those two first draws would happen if Ronaldo was playing. Let's see how Barcelona handles Espanyol, but if they win, which I think they will, a 4 point lead is quite a lot in just 3 games.
565  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: September 09, 2017, 01:10:31 PM
I think its less than 48 hours before he faces the Nadal so I guess he's body wasn't able to recover from the Federer match. But I do agree that its not fair specially that players have to go a lot of matches before reaching the semis and its getting tougher and tougher as you go along. If we all know that he will be beaten by Nadal, we just wish that Federer should have won then to see Federer-Nadal once again. Oh well, its gonna be easy for Nadal to take the trophy against Kevin Anderson. I'm not saying that Kevin can't win, but knowing Nadal in this kind of tournament, its really hard to go against him and pick Anderson.

I agree with you, Nadal will have an easy game now. I really wanted Del Potro to go to the finals, because I really like him, but Nadal was just to strong. I'm sure his win vs Del Potro had of course something to do with that extra day of recovery he had, but even if there was time for full recovery from both athletes, I think he would win anyway. He is in good shape right now, so maybe he would have a harder game, but it would still be a win I guess.
566  Economy / Gambling / Re: Why has no fiat casino adopted provably fair gambling? on: September 09, 2017, 01:01:58 PM
I think that they just don't have the need to do it right now. They aren't really shot on customers, and are generating plenty of cash. If the provably fair feature is just not considered important by their users why would they implement it? Also they do have a lot of things that probably most btc casinos don't have. They are completely regulated, and if something goes wrong the user knows that they can take them to a court, and that gives them some trust I guess. In the bitcoin world there is the fear that some sites can just close and run with your money, and I guess that doesn't happen in the major fiat casinos, and this is probably more important to users than provably fair.
567  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: September 08, 2017, 03:29:44 PM
Best player of the tournament till now?

Carreno Busta ? No because he hasn't played against top 5 players .
Nadal? He struggled in the early stages of couple of matches so No.
Federer? Nope , he is out .
Del potro ? 100% yes , what a comeback this is. Amazing battle it will be between Nadal and Del potro , can't predict the winner.

Del Potro is an amazing player, and always plays with such an amazing attitude and heart, that is good to watch. Who will advance to the finals, it's really hard to say. I agree with you, Del Potro had to beat Federer, and for me, he is already the best player of this tournament this year. I like Nadal, but I hope Del Potro wins, and then gets a well deserved win in the final.
568  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2016/17 on: September 08, 2017, 03:21:29 PM
yesterday the Real Madrid president said about the renewal of Isco, he certainly said that very soon the new deal will be revealed. he also talked about the gossip during summer transfer about Cristiano Ronaldo,
the president told that Cr7 is still happy to be here. but he said that every player is transferable so he wants to see what will happen in the next year.

Well I guess if they get a millionaire offer he could go out, but I don't really think that will ever happen. He was great in United, and already came to Real with a status, but he just won so much in Real, and is already 32 years old, so I think he will stay on Real until the end.

Every year it's the same thing, and this year with the news from possible IRS problems, and Ronaldo being quite angry with that, things got escalated a bit, but I don't think that Ronaldo leaving was ever a remote possibility.
569  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does bitcoin's price volatility affect your gambling habits? on: September 08, 2017, 03:13:29 PM
So does this factor affect how you gamble?

If prices go up, do you lower you bets? For example, you normally bet 0.001 per bet, do you lower it to 0.0001 per bet?

If prices go down, do you place higher bets? For example, you normally bet 0.001 per bet, do you place higher bets like 0.01 per bet?

I think it shouldn't but for me it does. I mean I have a bankroll for gambling in bitcoin, so I guess I should use it and don't care about it's price in fiat, but the thing is, I only use BTC for gambling, and I don't use it to buy goods. So I will need to trade BTC to $ eventually, so I don't feel comfortable in risking to much $ on a bet, when BTC rises. If I didn't need to exchange BTC to fiat to buy normal stuff (like grocery) then I guess it would not affect me.
570  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Portuguese League Prediction Thread (Primeira Liga) on: September 07, 2017, 01:47:23 PM
I would like to see how Benfica and Sporting handle their games tomorrow. Benfica already lost points for their direct opponents by drawing with Rio Ave. Of course Rio Ave is a hard team to beat, so I think Benfica will win this game vs Portimonense with ease and by a large margin. I will go for over 2.5 on this one.

As for Sporting, they are having a very good start, just like Porto, so I think this should be an easy win for them as well. Although they have the best offense so far, half of their goals were scored vs Guaranies, so I expect this game to be under 2.5.
571  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why most people prefer hyip and doubler but not provably fair games? on: September 07, 2017, 11:30:57 AM
Hi,

Why most people prefer hyip and doubler but not provably fair games?
In hyip and double will been result: lost money
In provably fair game: they can win good amount

Why do you say that? That it not true for me, and I actually thought it wasn't true for most people. Every time I see a new game thread on the gambling thread, most users ask for it to be provably fair, and I keep saying users advising others to stay away from hyips. I also don't agree that with provably fair you can win a good amount. It's gambling, so you will most likely lose money, but I'm more confidant that I will not get scammed and that works for me, as I'm not trying to get rich from gambling.

I've updated the OP with the new suggestions. Thank you very much for all your replies.
I will keep doing this, as you keep suggesting more sites. I've seen that there are some differences already in the quality of the sites suggested, although most users agree with the same sources. Please note that I'm just adding them, and trusting on the suggestions offered.
573  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2018 World Cup qualifications, UEFA zone, discussion and information thread on: September 06, 2017, 11:12:27 AM
For me, the best game for today will be Colombia v Brazil. Brazil is in amazing form, and if we ignore friendlies, they com to this game with a 9 winning streak. I really think Brazil will win this one, even though they don't really need it since they have already qualified. I also don't expect to many goals, so I will risk under 2.5 goals as well.

brazil meet colombia is not important match, because is ready get ticket to world cup
playing in home and need point, i think colombia minimum can get one point, thi mean minimum result draw

i hope colombia can win, because colombia squad high quality too, not big difference with brazil squad

I know it wasn't an important match for Brazil, but it could be for Colombia, as they could lose second place with a draw or a loss. I was still looking for a win from Brazil, but it ended as a draw as you said. At least I was right about the under 2.5.

The only team that continues to disappoint me is Argentina. They just had to to more than they did. I think Venuzuela can be a hard team to beat when their defense is working, but they should be no match for Argentina, specially when playing at home. They need to turn their game around, it would be a shame to see a World Cup without Argentina and Messi :/
574  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Realiable source of news for trading on: September 06, 2017, 11:00:41 AM
But I'll be cautious because some of the articles are paid. Just try to filter out what you are reading and pretty much you will know what's hot and not. I guess its due to timezone difference as well that's why you saw the news very late regarding China banning ICO that causes domino effect to the ecosystem.

Didn't thought about the time zone effect, that could also explain a few things, since the market reacted very quickly as usual.
Still, I was definitely missing some good sites, I will take a look into those you suggested.

Thank you for the suggestions guys, I will put them in the OP, maybe they can be of some use to users like me, that are also searching for reliable sources of information. Feel free to suggest more, and I will keep adding them to the OP.
575  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do not let Chinese gov take free money off you on: September 06, 2017, 10:55:43 AM
I completely agree with you. I think that a lot of people took this as a fight vs crypto, but I don't see it that way. I've actually heard that they will develop their own official virtual coin, although I don't think it will be able to compete with BTC, but they surely can co-exist. The ban on ICOs was to avoid scam and money laundry in my opinion, and I support that decision. Things seem to be getting back to normal now, as BTC price is increasing again.

I think this is a Chinese government regulation that keeps its people from being deceived by ICO. We see a lot of ICO emerging and worrying. All the money holders interested in joining, this kind of worry that the banking world in China is not stable.
just a stupid opinion that I give. Sorry. Smiley

Ugh. this. I see the point of view of the Chinese government. There are sooo much new and soon to open ICOs that it's getting pretty obvious why plenty of ICOs are opening. It really is easy cash for them. You don't even need a product! You just need a Wordpress/Wix site, spend a few days on the whitepaper, create a "team" that consists of non-real people, hype it up a bit on social media with some paid ads on some crypto-related website, then you're good to go. Not to mention a good percentage of those ICOs will most likely disappear in a few months or a few years.

I must say I agree with you. It's exactly like you said. It's way to easy to form ICOs, and they are just generating way to much money most of the time with not real product. Since crypto is so active in China, this could really have an impact on their country. The only problem, is that they are also not allowing users to exchange BTC for fiat. At least that's what I heard, and that I don't understand.

Hi guys, I still haven't tried to do any trading for now, but I'm considering it. I know that is very important to have a good source of news regarding crypto, because some important ones can influence the price of a coin a lot. Where do you guys normally try to gather your information?

For example, I saw the BTC price reaching around $5000 and then dropping like crazy to $4100. Only after seeing that, I heard what was happening on China (their new law's regarding ICO and exchanges). I'm sure that had a big influence on the price change, but I only saw it to late.

So like I said, where do you guys normally gather your information. Are there some top rated sites, that everyone use?
I'm not asking for anything exclusive, and I know I can start googling it, but I'm sure that from all the hits I get, some will be reliable, and other not so much, that's why I'm asking what are those few good sites, that you have already selected.

EDIT: I will be adding the suggestions to this post

Hello Lutpin, I see my name is not on the campaign list yet.
Does that mean I haven't been accepted, or you haven't updated the list yet?

Thank you.
