561  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it good time to buy Bitcoin? on: November 12, 2017, 02:31:53 PM
Yes it is! this is the time to invest because after the fork this currency will go up in the sky.

Which fork are you talking i think you are not updated with the latest news that SegWit2x is cancelled some 3 or 4 days back and due to that only this dump in BTC and pump in BCH/BCC price have happened. But now both are getting in level but still their are so much confusion of which one will be going to exist
562  Economy / Speculation / Re: Am I late ? on: November 11, 2017, 07:35:25 PM
Now is the correct time to buy as it has gone very low in correction and start to buy in split of you investment so that if their is more low value then you should be able to buy more. But i think now after some time the price will start to move back high.
563  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should I trade my BTC for BCH? on: November 10, 2017, 11:11:02 PM
Hi,

I'm new here. Bought in to bitcoin at £5100, sold at £6050, then bought back in at £5400, but it seems to be dropping.

Should I trade all my BTC for BCH on the short term or is it too late to get in to BCH?

BCT seems to be losing me money by the minute.

Thanks.

Entering in BCH is not recommended as it has gone very high and now anything can happen so it is better to stick with BTC as within some days the price will jump up back after this correction is over.
564  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin versus Bitcoin Cash Civil War Is Intensifying on: November 10, 2017, 10:16:10 PM
Price means nothing when it comes to who is the real Bitcoin.
cant argue with this mate, but that price make me think twice when make small transaction

You are right it really means a lot for transaction price because due to high transaction charges low value transaction are becoming costly and this makes bitcoin costly then fiat currency bank charges. So i think that bitcoin cash is going to get succeed in coming days.
565  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: 🚀[ANN][PoSToken]First PoS Smart Contract Token[Final Free Distribution] on: November 10, 2017, 02:47:55 PM
that good for heard , have a  Postoken in my wallet so i can get reward for holding bounty
thanks just it will be patient for heard see dev update.

I am afraid that having "a" Postoken in your wallet won't get you so much reward. To get the final airdrop you would need at least 10. However, if you continue to mint it for at least one year, you can even arrive to own 2 full Postoken after one year.

I am still holding my 30 postoken which i got in airdrop so just keeping in my wallet will give me final airdrop free token or else i have to do something to claim final airdrop. Please can anyone tell the claiming details.
566  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is it risky to turn all my money to bitcoins? on: November 10, 2017, 02:36:36 PM
I think its not risky beside if you want to use them anytime you can just convert some into fiat. Bitcoin is a good currency to hold either for short term or long term period specially now that the value keep increasing. Converting all your money into bitcoin does not mean you cannot use them when you need it so I think there's no risk with that

What you are telling is wrong investing whole investment to Bitcoins is always risky as you can see the price went down from 7800+ to 6700+ so who ever invested in high level is now i loss and suddenly he is in need of fiat currency then will have to sell in loss. So it is not good to invest fully in bitcoins but invest only that much amount which dont affect your financial position if the bitcoin price goes down.
567  Local / India / Re: RBI STATEMENT ON BITCOIN on: November 10, 2017, 02:26:14 PM
Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has signaled that virtual currencies like bitcoin won’t be allowed in the country. “Our current position on bitcoins is that we will not be using it for any payments and settlements…though the technology underlying crypto-currencies will not end,” said S Ganesh Kumar, executive director of the RBI, at a conference in Mumbai on Nov. 06.

So as per this statement it is clear that we can use the technology behind crypto currencies, so the altcoin made can be used for payments and settlements. This statement is totally confusing whether to use the crypto currency or leave it.
568  Local / India / Re: Home Loan Eligibility on: November 08, 2017, 02:57:26 PM
What is the eligibility criteria for getting a Home Loan?

It all depends on your income tax details , that how much income you are showing and how much tax you are paying it. If you are a salary person from reputed limited firm then you can get a home loan very soon according to your salary pay you will get loan. If you are a business man then you have to show the full details about your income and expenditure details.
569  Local / India / Re: what is the future of Bitcoin in India? on: November 08, 2017, 02:54:24 PM
I want to invest in Bitcoin and other Crypto/Altcoins in India, but concern about the future regulations and govt crackdowns (recent economic times news, Nov 02, 2017: War on bitcoin? Govt panel seeks crackdown on cryptocurrency dealers in India)

what you guys think about it? please share your views
(at present have about ~3BTC, & have accounts on Indian exchanges like Zebpay, coinsecure, Unocoin and many International exchanges)

As soon as the indian government make some regulations and implement on bitcoins then i think the bitcoin will flourish more and users can make use of this information and enjoy bitcoins.I dont recommend to keep bitcoins in any exchanges as anytime they can ban your account without notice without giving any reasons. So better to download the desktop wallet or hardware wallet and deposit your bitcoin in them securely and when ever you are thinking of selling that time you can transfer and proceed it.
570  Local / Marketplace (India) / Re: I am a student, How do i sell 3 BTC? on: November 08, 2017, 02:48:15 PM
Namaskar Doston.
I am an Indian studying in 12th standard ( Arts stream ). I have 3 BTC and i want to cash it out to my bank account? I think 3 BTC will be 3*2.8 = 8.4 Lac in INR. If i cash put then will police catch me? I initially had 0.37 BTC and i gambled and gambled on cloudbet and managed a total of 3.04 BTC.
Is it legal for me to cash out? How do i cash out? will i have to pay any tax? How i pay tax for it? I am student and i don't know much about tax , how and where to pay.
Please guide me, i am hoping to take admission in good college in india for my Bachelor.

Dhanyawaad.

You can sell it on zebpay, you need a pan card for the same and any Indian can get a Pan card irrespective of AGE.
you have to pay tax on it as it is your income
my suggestion dont sell it in one go and sell yearly so that you stay under 2.5 lacs/ yea limit for filing ITR,
or u can take help of your friends , parents and sell it through thr account
or sell it for cash but do make transactions at a public place and dont transfer btc until u have cash in hand and counted.

I have withdrew the idea of selling my coins and am thinking on trading them , currently they are worth 13000$ and i am thinking to start trading to take it to 1 MIL.
What you think? is it a good idea?

Playing in gambling and trading both are different options, in gambling you were lucky so turned your investment in good profit, but if you going for trading in bitcoins then you have to keep more patience and if get stuck in high buying price then dont panic and leave the buy coins with you but dont sell on loss as in future you will surely get more better price to sell on profit. If you can see todays price is 7000+ usd rate which is more then double of your coin value .
571  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin vs Ethereum after 5 years? on: November 08, 2017, 02:43:48 PM
What is most profitable to invest for 5 years ?BT or ETH

If you will ask me then i will go with BTC as ETH is not reliable and anyone can mess with it. Recent attack on its blockchain is the proof that anyone with non technical knowledge person can also mess with ETH. BTC is fully protected
572  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is this for real? I could be a millionaire? on: November 07, 2017, 09:36:57 PM
Please forgive my cynicism.
I was offered bitcoins in I think 2010 when they were 50p each.
I was tempted to buy £200 worth but had been just lost £200 to a ponzi money scheme so decided against it!

I have seem recent reports saying they are now worth £2,500

Are these the same Bitcoins?
So would I be able to actually sell for cash or money in the bank?

Sorry to ask, but I see lots of people saying they are millionaires but don't think I have seen anyone with the actual money banked.

I mean, my 400 bitcoins would now be worth £1,000,000 and I could actually sell them for £1Million less commissions?

You gotta see I'm sceptical.
Please tell me I haven't made the biggest mistake of my life?

Hey OP you are telling that you invested in Ponzi money scheme and lost 200 then how come do you have 400 bitcoins and how will you become millionaire. You lost your money but you did not got bitcoins. If you have bought bitcoins and the price crashed that time so you thought of it as dead investment then you are really millionaire if you still have access to that dead investment.
573  Local / Buyer/ Seller Reputations (India) / Re: [WARNING] BEFORE BUYING TREZOR HARDWARE WALLET IN INDIA on: November 07, 2017, 03:50:09 PM
For the benefit of future buyers, can you pl inform the site name?

You can see that he is not buying from site but from a personal who is in whatsup group. But it will be good if OP can give the site name from where he got this contact number for buying trezor hardware wallet. It is better that you can setup Electrum desktop wallet and secure its seed key as it is very lite to use and it is very secure to use it.

576  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: btc target on: November 06, 2017, 03:49:23 PM
bitcoin price will hit 10k$ soon. But still some bear trap here. Dont enter bitcoin right now.
you can invest now even bitcoin is low because some altcoins drop down, you can invest in that like me i invest in xrb and xem i always buy if some altcoins drop down i think after the fork the price of some coins will get high then i will sell mine in that.I think also in that time bitcoin drop down so i will invest also

Well if you're planning to hold for quite some time, yeah now would be a good time to go shopping for alts. Btc will probably continue its upward probably until the end of he year. Next year would be something to look forward to if we end past 10k this 2017

I dont think that we will pass 10k this 2017 as their will be heavy resistance near 9900 level as per my view. As their are so many users who are waiting for 10k to appear so that they can sell their bitcoins so their will be heavy selling pressure near that price.
577  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ICONOMI - Digital Assets Management Platform on: November 06, 2017, 02:40:47 PM
I'd probably buy more considering they just burned another 742,000 thousand ICN tokens. So with every year they'll burn 2.5 million ICN tokens approximately. So 10 years from now, they'll be down to 75 million ICN tokens if my math is right and it remains at its current burn rate (more or less). 20 years from now, they'll be down to 50 million ICN tokens, and then their BTC value just keeps going up and up.

Sounds like a good deal long term or no? We have to think about it really long term. If you can wait 20, 30 years, this could be worth quite a bit for each ICN token.

Now, that's the rosy scenario. What is the worst case scenario?
Where do you get that number?
They only burnt around 212000 tokens. This is the burn address:
https://etherscan.io/address/0x0006157838d5a6b33ab66588a6a693a57c869999#tokentxns

Imo, this is the bottom for ICN. Q3 report was underwhelming, but remember that this was before they launched the DAAs (happened at the start of Q4). I expect a much better Q4 report, plus there is a lot of good stuff in the pipeline (declaration of iCN usage, full platform release, fiat gateway...).
After the last fork (BCash) price tripled as well. Hopefully we'll have a similar scenario.

I would be surprised if the price isn't 2 or 3x the current price within the next 6 months. Bought some extra ICN yesterday.

But DYOR.

From the current price to 2 to 3x profit in next 6 months is not a big thing but still i think it will be below the price value what it should be in ICO period time. I think for ICN to get big will take longer time like 2 or 3 yrs or more then only we can see some good profit.
578  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price will down on: November 06, 2017, 02:06:13 PM
On what basis do you assume it will fall?
I mean it has not fallen that much yet. I doubt it will go lower that 7000$ now.

There could be many reason to rise and fall.

To Rise:

1. Demand High and less supply.
2.Out of 2.1 million 1.6 million already in market. so remaining is very less.
3.Its decentralized , so no one has control over it.

To fall:

1. So may people can buy in low rate . if price never go down then only few people have these  cryptocurrency .
once price will go down many people can invest.
2. More people more popularity.

Add here if i missed something.

You are right, but I think people want to have BTC, how much they can, and put their money on it, but I believe if anyone wants to be rich with cryptocurrencies they should invest on Altcoins, specially on ICOs with high potential.

I dont agree with you, you can see all altcoins are down below their ICO price even when their projects are so good then also no one is ready to believe them. and talking about ICO that are more worse, as soon as they are listed their price goes down below ICO price. So it is much better that you can buy and hold in bitcoins and even if you are trading in bitcoins will also be good. If you wanted to invest in Altcoins. then you should hold for more then one year and that too cannot say if they will be working or dead in that mean time.
579  Economy / Speculation / Re: what do you think about bitcoin price in 2018? on: November 06, 2017, 01:50:56 PM
In this year January btc price was $800 — $1,150 and now it is around $7100.Can we imagine it will increase like this year?

In 2017 year lot of good and bad things happened, like japan accepting bitcoin and legalizing it same way other country also started it. two hardfork happened and still one is pending, this has drived the bitcoin price up and one bad news of china banning ICO and stopped the exchange to regulate it. Same way if it happen in 2018 then the price can go more then enough which cannot be imaginable. I expect the price of bitcoin to go above 15000+ in 2018
