So far so good. just hope to get a lucky block.
you have about a 1 in 155 chance to hit a block on a daily basis with that setup. if you hit a block before august, you are on the luck side of statistics. double check for hw error, cooling, power supply, etc to improve hash rate in general to improve odds. i can't think of anything else useful you can do to improve luck. maybe rabbits foot, lucky sock, eat more chicken, if you want to test... |

Do I need to specifically do any config in order to get a block other then basic setup and mining in Kano pool?
Is it all depends on luck?
I am currently mining with 12 unit of S7.
that's about it. create a login, set them up, point to kano.is with loginname.s701 - loginname.s712 (or equivalent) following the kano.is site instruction, and you're on your way to start getting steady bitcoins. luck is welcomed but mostly optional. |

i aint blaming anyone dude its just taking a while for payouts after the work is done and i didn't know that cos its abit different from the others is all, im totally fine with it, it was just a question.
i saw all the posts about supporting kano and why it was bad what the Chinese were doing so i came here to support kano so stop being so judgmental and rude! just asking a damn question!
im new to this like most of us and have only spent a couple of days with ghash.io when i got the miner and then with antpool and now here.

roughly you look okay on the payouts for your speed in the corner. blocks 407575,407574,407505,407480 were all paid to you on the same day. don't stress about the bluntness of the pool. when your intro started with kano.is pays less than this other pool, it started off a "is this guy for reals reaction." just follow through on the chain of those trying to assist. the rewards page is very important. |

how come i have been making $1 a day for the past three days of joining kc pool with my s7 antminer and at ghash or antpool it was more like $5 a day, everybody said its better payouts here?  i would tend to agree with everybody saying that, so where does that leave your miner? you sure you not seeing it as $1 a payout instead of $1 a day? other than that your S7 is hashing at below s5 N Avg speeds. @ 1.12THs, i'm seeing about 0.00317 BTC/day ~ $1.58 post the first couple of rows/lines in your rewards page and someone here will help decipher it. |

my iPad App, which runs on a iPad 2 with IOS 9.3.1, is not showing my miners any longer. This started happening a day or so ago. It worked great for a month or so. Over on the Kano postings I see others are reporting similar results. Thoughts?

I am trying to connect 2 s4 and 1 s5 to kano.is and cannot get my rigs to connect/register after the save and apply with stratum+tcp://stratum.kano.is:3333. Please advise

What was the first block hit by the pool after you started and what is your approximate hash level? check your rewards page for the lowest block number there. sounds potentially normal, this early on. payout is done a little while after the block is matured. at the moment, last confirmed payout is for block 404998. if this block is on your rewards page, and the "your btc" column is > 0.0001, then it not normal. if the lowest block listed there is higher than this or you are dust mining, then it is normal. |

could you change the "Payout 4nnnnn sent" notification to say something like:
Payout 4nnnnn confirmed
or
Payout 4nnnnn 1st confirm
It's not actually the sent time, I send it before that of course, it's seems your identification of it is indeed when it first gets into a block, i.e. the 1st confirm.

wow those are depressing numbers i guess i was lucky or wit very lucky with four blocks here was trying to illustrate that a 1:250 over a one week / 1:50 over 1 month period is not yet in the realm on unlikely for a single s7. i guess it's subjective. edit: from my view a gekkoscience compac at 8Ghz stock falls into the unlikely category. though i read rumors one may have been found.. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1173963.msg14143212#msg14143212keep mining on. |
