561  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2023-2024 betting on: January 07, 2024, 11:02:23 AM
I was surprised to see the Wizards making some good runs to come within distance in the 3rd Quarter, but just like they were against te 76ers, the Knicks were quick to quench the fire before it became a wildspread, and closed out the game perfectly.
That early run from the Wizards also surprised me as I tuned back to the live feed to see the Knicks only lead by 6 points after getting 20+ points during the first half.
What matters though is that they were able to cover the spread. It's a game of run, we should be ready with it. But knowing what the Wizards can do, they'll like not gonna be able to sustain their run, it's a battle of consistency and NYK had that.

I'm glad I switched my pick and skipped the Pacers because they also had a trend where they struggled on b2b matches.
I think it was a nice decision because Pacers were the public play. I mean, getting +7 after they dismantled the Bucks and Hawks, that's very atractive. Nice to know you were clever.

I'll probably back the Clippers for tomorrow's game as the odds are great @1.60 and i'm always down to fade the Lakers when they've only had a single home win since last month.

I believe the Lakers are very desperate to get back winning, so I'm gonna wait for the live and take an ML odds for clippers with 2.00 + or I will bet on the Lakers +4.
562  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: January 07, 2024, 10:13:40 AM
First game will start at 3;00 PM. As per betting odds, SMB is a heavy favorite giving -14 to the DYIP. Can we at least expect an entertaining game here, or it's just a normal day in the office for SMB dominating a weak team.
It was just a normal day in the office since SMB won by 20 pionts.
110-132,  you can see that there's not much enough defense on this game, as Terra shots 47% while SMB shots 50%.

And by the way, JMF was reported that he'll come back today, so we can also see if he is still the same before he got injured, and if I'm not mistaken, SMB's import will have his debut this game.
Wrong info mate, he is not set to return in that game but it's on Dec. 12 game.

Here's the news ; Fajardo expected to return on January 12

About the total, its 205. IMO, it could go over 205 if DYIP shots will fall, so I think I will go with the over here, Good luck kabayan!

Congratulations. I hope you bet on it if you were doubtful on the "trap" of the SMB line.
563  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Maybe future trade is gambling on: January 06, 2024, 09:50:35 PM
Futures trading may only turn gambling if you actually trade without knowledge and experience. That way, regardless if it's spot or futures, everything will definitely end up with gambling. And once you trade with high leverage, without being good experiences in futures trading, you will only end up trading like gambling.

Hence, I don't suggest for everyone here who is starting to trade to engage in futures trading as it's highly risky and has a high danger of losing if you trade without sufficient skills and strategies.
564  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Does inactive users deserve merits? on: January 06, 2024, 08:30:18 PM
There have been some good and quality posts that I've come across why navigating through the forum and I found out that some of the users have been inactive for a very long time but the posts they've made deserved merit, so is it advisable to merit the post(s) of a user(s) that have been inactive for a long interval of time considering the fact that they made Meritable posts?
I dont think the period of hybernation is important or matter when someone posted a good one. The readers dont often check first whether he is active or not but just actually reading the post they wanna merit. Am I right with the assumption? Of course we cant deny that some are probably bought account that suddenly become alive but who knows they just rest for a while and come back now.
You are right there, mate. We don't check the inactiveness of the person who posted it but it's only the content of the post that matters. If it's a valuable post, then meriting it would be the best option, no if's and but's.
But if meriting for you would mean also the availability of the owner itself, I guess that's also your own perspective and we can't control you for that.

However for me, I'm fine meriting the post even if the user is not existing anymore. Merits should be given to those who deserve it and should not be only kept to myself.
565  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many individual holders of Bitcoin are there? on: January 06, 2024, 07:59:50 PM
Is there some metric or study somewhere that could let us know how many individuals (individual humans) currently hold Bitcoin as an asset? Are there any metrics that could approximate the number? Estimate change over time?

I would think this would be a key metric in understanding the market.
No one will know the right answer to that as privacy is given high emphasis. And even if there’s a metric that will help us know that, we can’t be sure if we have derived with a right and fixed answer or just an estimation. Note that each hodler may also be using different addresses so it’s really impossible to determine how many exact hodlers are here.

However, I find no relation why we have to look for that. Hodling entails privacy so we should not dwell with everyone’s privacy and just respect everyone who is actually here to hold for long term.
566  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs Casimero (possible fight in 2024) Let's discuss! on: January 06, 2024, 01:56:13 PM

Inoue already showed his interest on fighting Casimero but its a matter of when.

Aside from Casimero, Inoue still would like to fight Neri and Akhmadaliev. So if Inoue will prioritizes the two, most likely Casimero will not be able to fight Inoue this year as Inoue only fights twice in a year, his max, based on his boxing records. Worst if Inoue will both beat Akhmadaliev and Neri, and will decide to move up, that would left Casimero chasing Inoue. In that case Casimero could become a champion in the super bantamweight if Inoue leave, but he'll not be able to prove himself against Inoue.

So many things are going to happen this year, Casimero should do the chasing here since he is the challenger in his next fight he should show improvement by knocking out whoever his opponent is, his last two fights were not good so the Inoue team put him out of the radar, Casimero is all talks, while Inoue is eyeing who are the top boxers in his division if you're the champion you will look who is the closest contender and some champions cherry picked but I don't think Inoue will cherry pick fighters.

If he can't secure a fight against Inoue, and Inoue decides to move up, it is not Inoue's fault so he should just shut up and just concentrate on getting a title,  he blew it by going out on MP promotions who can give him decent fights and are good in securing big fights

A KO will only happen if he will stop fighting Japanes oppenents, especially if the fight is held in Japan. The last fight of Casimero is quite controversial, although we've seen him slowed down a bit by I believe the fight should have ended a KO on his favorite, but it was declared as no contest.

You know, his last fight with a Japanese prior to Yukinori Oguni was decided as no contest but later on it was change to KO since Ryo Akaho he really loss on that fight. You know, if without the "best actor" performance, Casimero could probably have won another KO.
567  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What will be your trading strategy for crypto in 2024? on: January 05, 2024, 09:55:03 PM
A lot of people have been asking me this question, so I thought I'd ask you guys the same. My plan is to diversify across promising projects, optimize with rebalancing, and keep a level head throughout the ride.
You know it's easy to say promising projects but finding it is actually hard. Hence, sticking to bitcoin is the safest option and just continue to do DCA to maximize bitcoin portfolio.

Diversification is a good thing but if you are doubting other projects if they can still be the same with bitcoin, then I suggest just focus on bitcoin and just diversify your investments not on crypto but on other investments.
568  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs Casimero (possible fight in 2024) Let's discuss! on: January 05, 2024, 12:44:12 PM

So impressive win, a big knockout and maybe the camp of Inoue will say yes. But I don't know if Gibbons will be in the middle though, and I don't think that Casimero will just go and repair his relationship with MP or Gibbons himself.

569  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you see a gambling review website that has its own gambling website? on: January 05, 2024, 12:02:02 PM
That's fine as long as the gambling review casino can act fairly toward its competitors and doesn't try to undermine its competitors.

You will not know this if you dont' have a first hand experience on the gambling site that is on review. So IMO, it's really not good for a review site to own its casinos while actively reviewing others. The biasness will be present, whether they like it or not, it will happen as they want their business to grow since casino operations are more profitable than a review site, as long as both have good audience and market.
570  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are you ready for crypto investing in 2024? on: January 04, 2024, 09:29:44 PM
2024 will bring more excitement for crypto because of the upcoming big events that are bound to happen this year  so I will always be eager to invest and maximize my bitcoin accumulation regardless of its current high price. But if given the chance that bitcoin will drop its price deeply and will fall below $40k, I think that will create more opportunities for us to be highly profitable in the future while we continue to accumulate and maximize our bitcoin portfolio through DCA.
571  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Philippine traders need help! We want an exchange with p2p feature like Binance. on: January 04, 2024, 05:55:58 AM
Isn't this a great opportunity for some local exchanges to take over the market?

People wouldn't be seeking another options if the local exchanges could satisfy its users. The problem with the local exchanges is that they are very strict with implementing the laws. For traders from the Philippines here, they knew that there's a lot of feedback of accounts being frozen due to whatever reasons, in short, it's not safe if you are trading huge money and you have transactions from unverified platforms, especially if your account is link with the gambling site, that's a big no no as it will trigger closure of account.
572  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - The Leading Crypto Casino - Drake, UFC, Everton, Alfa Romeo F1 Team on: January 04, 2024, 05:27:33 AM
Like many others we only believe once someone we know experiences it.
Has your friend met the criteria for being an unusual user, for example a VIP member or has reached a certain amount of bets (which not many users achieve) in some time? The method for selecting winners is not as transparent as I have seen in Twitter free sweepstakes in general, I hope there are no side criteria that aren't disclosed.
I think they will just based on Twitter profile if I'm not mistaken. So it's a random selection, if you get selected you'll win a price, then afterwards you will give you stake account which probably the winning will be credited.

This is the announcement from twitter ( it's very easy and simple)

573  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - The Leading Crypto Casino - Drake, UFC, Everton, Alfa Romeo F1 Team on: January 03, 2024, 05:54:39 AM
why does stake not open exchange in the member area, for example from dogecoin to USDT.
but actually gambling using any coin is no problem. the more support many coins the better. but even more perfect there is an open exchange.
As far as I remember, they had it in the past but they removed it. There was official exchange feature through coinswitch but the fee was just too high. I dont think Stake need to have a built-in exchange since their main business is gambling. Now there are at least 2 3rd party services to be used to exchange your coin at Stake, dinabot and poorbot. Having their own exchange will not make them better if the exchange fee is too high, players will not use it.
poorbot is quite new but already gaining popularity in the forum. I think if this kind of business will prosper, we will find more of this kind in the future and we can choose the best company with the best service. Stake could just focus on providing a competitive games and competitive odds on their sports book.
574  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How possible is it to win lottery 14 times using mathematics calculations on: January 03, 2024, 05:02:19 AM
I think I've seen this in the movie.

This is very similar, try to check the thriller of the movie. Jerry & Marge Go Large – Official Trailer Starring Bryan Cranston & Annette Bening (They said, they are professional lottery players) Grin

If someone could not find a loophole on the lottery to take advantage on it, then there's no chance he'll win 14 times, unless he uses a time machine, but that would be out this world thinking then. So my say is that, it's not true, and I don't believe it.
575  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is bitcoin stability important? on: January 01, 2024, 09:54:23 PM
Stability is not an issue about bitcoin since we all know volatility makes it highly unstable. But despite of that, volatility is what makes bitcoin where it is now so definitely, without volatility, bitcoin will not achieved its top position right now. And with volatility, bitcoin price has all the potentials to rise without limits, that's the utmost advantage of being volatile, seeing its price sky is the limit. Unlike fiat, where there is less volatility, it's value goes straight depreciating without seeing it at its all time high price.
576  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How can I start investing in Bitcoin? on: January 01, 2024, 02:52:30 PM
Can someone please guide is it a good practice to start investing in Bitcoin in this upcoming January-2024?
Invest now before it’s too late. Though the price is high but we all know that it will be higher in the next days and months, and by that time, entering the market would require a bigger capital. But you can always chose to invest at a small amount and buy a portion of bitcoin for you to hold long term. Bitcoin has huge potentials to succeed in the future, hence we should not miss any opportunity that we are seeing in front of us.

However, my only concern is that if you are ready to invest and ready to lose. By getting ready to invest means that you know your investment well and you’re ready to lose knowing all investments has its risks and its fair share of losses. But we can always prevent ourselves not to lose a lot when we know how to make bitcoin investment right.
577  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: It will save your capital more than you can imagine on: January 01, 2024, 01:57:33 PM
Simply put, this is the science of capital and risk management. you are right this is necessary. It's just that before that, I believe we must first learn to control our emotions, this is even more important because with controlled emotions our decisions will definitely be very wise. we become less anxious about taking any risks. We can always accept the results, usually this method is successful in achieving profits according to the target, this depends on how we can control it all. Be careful with greed, it is very dangerous for our assets.
You are right there mate. It’s hard to resort into cut loss when your emotions are against on it. Most of the  time, our emotions control our decisions that’s why we lose consistently in the process. Cutting our losses is a big decision that will change the outcome of our trades, but if we think our trades will not head into positivity, hence we should go cutting our losses. And we can only do that if we can manage our emotions as well so that the outcome of our decision will not be compromised.
578  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Mayweather vs Pacquiao II on: January 01, 2024, 11:01:53 AM
I knew that they were cooking something. Just recently I read some articles regarding this fight (Pacman vs Mayweather II), so I was optimistic that it could happen anytime soon, and since we just entered 2024, this could be possible this year.

Maybe some would think that they need more time to prepare. That's not the case actually since this is just an exhibition fight, there's no bearing on their professional record, and even if Mayweather were to loss this fight, he would remain undefeated per his prof record.

This fight is already due, but sadly both retired before this fight will happen. Anyway, it's still good though, at least we will see some serious exhibition fight between two legends, and it's sure worth to pay for, as long as Mayweather would not just run in the entire fight.
579  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Must you lose before you gain in Bitcoin investment? on: December 31, 2023, 09:50:37 PM
This happens not all the time. Only those who fail manage the risk end up losing in bitcoin. And those who have no real understanding on what type of investment they are doing, they will encounter a lot of losses at first. But we all know bitcoin investment can be learned.it can be successfully done with knowledge and experience in the market. And of course, with high amount of patience that is a must have when you decide to invest for long term.
580  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why do we spam on: December 31, 2023, 08:59:47 PM
Spamming has always been a red flag in the forum. People resort into spamming certainly because they're unaware that they're already spamming in the forum. They will only say they are only doing their part in the forum, without assessing their posts if they still have quality contents or they only fall into low quality posts that made them spammers in the forum.

While spamming is highly discouraged in the forum, but maybe it's easier being said than done since a lot of us still end up spamming without us knowing.
