Good day campaign manager Im here to say that someone accusation me that Im a shitposter and got a redtrust please check my profile thank you.

If you post that someone is accusing you of being a shitposter I might consider to look in your posting history.

Mate, thats probably because of your english. Your posts make no sense, either you don't know english at all or you just copy paste from google translator, either way you probably don't have the knowledge that should be required in sig campaigns.

There is no divine knowledge that is required for someone to join in a Signature Campaign, it is all about contributing to the discussion if you don't have anything to contribute don't post at all, only post when you have something good to say even if it is unconstructive as long as it contributes something somehow you help the forum to exist of individual with something have to say, regardless of how useless constructive it is.
562  Economy / Goods / Re: Have you been buying goods with cryptocurrency? If so, where? on: January 22, 2018, 06:29:21 AM
I've only bought load using BTC I don't have many so I think a Steam Code, and a continuous load supply in my ISP is very good enough  though. Alternatively there's a lot of stuff I can use my cryptocurrency like paying for a decent lunch, or a movie, Unfortunately I ain't an outdoor person just an average introverted rube.

However If I'm going to have at least 0.50BTC I will try to buy a decent laptop in casekings. I never thought that it could actually shipped from them to me.
563  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: User-Friendly Lightning Wallets on: January 22, 2018, 05:07:17 AM
Just FYI (@btcton and @Cobalt9317), you can create an Electrum Segwit wallet with p2sh addresses (starting with 3) which are supported by every service/exchange.

yes, right..

to have segwit addresses starting with a 3 in Electrum just follow these simple steps:

1) generate a bip39, 12 words seed on https://iancoleman.io/bip39/ (use it offline for more security)
2) on electrum choose, File -> New/Restore -> Standard Wallet -> I already have a seed -> click on "options" and choose bip39, write the seed then click next
3) on derivation path path use: m/49'/0'/0'/0

that's all. Remember to save in a safe place the seed as electrum will not show it (read below)

I did this and I'm already using Segwit addresses for every one of my transaction. I made a test with a 1 input/1 output transaction and I'm getting half fees than a legacy wallet.

That might be the reason why my transaction in the exchange wallet is confirming even though I only put a 0.0001BTC/kb it starts with a 3, maybe that exchange is aware of this SegWit thing even before it became an opt-in option for everyone, and there's no transaction fee when you send a bitcoin to the user using the same exchange.

I take back what I said earlier they are aware of the context that bitcoin is going to have, it is like they predict the future or rather Satoshi Nakamoto told them bluntly.
564  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin predictions? on: January 22, 2018, 04:41:26 AM
The price of BTC will increase a lot, because we are earning from it day and night that leads the majority of ppl to learn how to utilize it.
Just a little bit of understanding an average joe can learn how to use BTC as a means of everything whether to buy online and offline, to cash out money while on the road there's a lot of things that BTC can do, if that knowledge spread through out the world even third world country will find it amazing and convenience.

So Bitcoin prediction is a common thing to always ask here in BCT.
565  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: User-Friendly Lightning Wallets on: January 22, 2018, 01:30:41 AM
Hopefully this all turns out better than it did with SegWit adoption. My main reason for not yet having a SegWit address is the fact that it seems like only Electrum supports it in a user-friendly way.

It seems that we are only able to send Bitcoin to the address that are also SegWit compatible like Electrum has. My main wallet exchange for fiat currency didn't support it alternatively it also like they aren't aware of the situation that SegWit can lower the transaction fee, but I guess profit is profit.

Thanks for the information Mark if the implementation of the Lightning Network would happen it will resolve so many problems the cryptocurrency are facing now.
566  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: paperaddress.org have just stolen my life savings on: January 22, 2018, 12:36:41 AM
What the heck.

That is why it is advisable to do your own research before taking action, paper wallet is good if it is only generated in Electrum because you are only in control of your privkey.

Now the only thing you can do about that is to track the bitcoin address, and try to learn where it goes and find a person behind it, but it is not an easy task as that person can just use a mixer yet if you contact every mixer to make an alert when someone send a bitcoin in their system with that address, I know it can be program with Javascript and Python, though it will only be a liabilities but can solve the problem when that person is going to be dumb and not thinking too.

Sincerely,
Not true, there are more safe ways to create a safe paper wallet. Armory is a really good one, especially if you create it on an offline machine. Also bitaddress.org which the poster probably intended to use is safe if you take the right security measures to generate the address. There are many guides here on the forum on how to create a paper wallet using bitaddress offline. For more information about legitimate wallets, take a look here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1631151.0

Thanks for the enlightenment, it is more likely that O.P visit a site that wasn't really bitaddress online paperwallet generator it might be a malicious web site that was really like bitaddress legitimate website basically it was a phishing site of that bitaddress, if that was the case I can more understand what happen to O.P if it is a malware software that compromise his/her computer that would also explain a different context in which O.P said that his life saving was stolen.

For example of phishing scheme this website looks like a BCT forum: thebitcointalk.net this is the first time I've seen this forum.

I have been interested in cryptocurrency for a year already and watching the next picture. The percentage of bitcoin dominance is decreasing in percent (about 35%). A month ago, there were 50 - 55%. What do you think about this? It seems to me that altсoins are more attractive for investment and more technological, so they are increasingly investing in altcoins.

But it doesn't mean a thing, well the way I see it. Maybe other investors are just looking for other ways like going to altcoins. But when bitcoin rally, everyone joins the train again. It is what it is. Everyone jumps where the money is. Do you think investors are shifting to altcoin because they have good technological advancement? I doubt. Sad to say but the truth is, everyone here is really for the money. Sad but true. Sad

Yeah everyone here is only joining signature campaign for the money involve, But earning cryptocurrency is impeccable we have all the right to do what we want, we are not responsible to join and earn bitcoin it is our own decision.

As for the response in the the title there's a 50% chance bitcoin will die if majority of the population is using it, that is why there's a lot of ICO having a peer to peer payments and exchange.
569  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin/alts in your will (?) on: January 20, 2018, 08:05:26 PM
I've heard of many people writing out a step by step guide for their family members on how to cash out the crypto and where is is all located in case of death. You can store all this info in a bank vault or any secure place that can be transferred to a relative in the event of your death.

That will work in most cases.

But O.P you can do a last willing testament if ever anything happens to you the inheritance of your cryptocurrency will be divided to the heir of your choice. You can also specify how much they will be having to eradicate misunderstanding about cyrptocurrency, alternatively the safe is located in your respective bank along with the hardware wallet, paper wallet, or anything with password to access the funds, you can also specify the bank in each heir respectively.

571  Economy / Services / Re: [Paying $250] for One transaction acceleration. on: January 20, 2018, 06:21:55 PM
I have a payment of very low fee. 10sat/B.
And it's stuck for more than 1month +.

If anyone can assist me it will really good.
Please PM for tx id.

Payment by ETH of $250.

Due to congested network even a paid service would not be able to accelerate your transaction, having said that 10sat/byte is really low not to mention if it has a weight more than 2000 you can't do anything about it just wait for the mempool to drop your transaction.

Example of a transaction that have a large weight https://blockchain.info/tx/fbb2a8a4dfaaefd5a442213f9aed50f5705c6dc4ea3e0715fbe98ab2e821cd24

I don't know if weight have anything to do with the transaction, however my intuition tells me that it affects a lot if the weight is too much miners are opting not to include such transaction.

If I were you O.P I will not try to do anything with my transaction, I will just wait for the mempool to drop it. don't try to rebroadcast your transaction everyday it will be stuck in a limbo.

I disagree to the statement that saying there is no value to it if BTC don't have a value it will not get known by the masses, yes at first Bitcoin doesn't have a value/price but on the other hand ppl support the decentralized digital assets that's why BTC make value to itself.

P.S as long as the minority of the population support Bitcoin it will continue to have value.
