561  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SBF said: WHAT HAPPENED? on: February 01, 2023, 02:19:57 PM
What are the latest updates to SBF? as far as I know he is under house arrest now, and also bailed in the amount of 250K$ or 250M$, Please correct me.

I just believe that SBF will be held accountable for the scandals he did in FTX. What he did was not a trivial amount that affected the market in truth. Where a lot of ftx users has been robbed by this person actually.
It's $250 Million and his parents helped him with it. If he so much tries to flee and hide, his parents would have a headache for it as their house was the one that is used to secure that $250 million bond.
SBF also continues to state that he no longer has millions and only has close to $100k in his bank account. Yeah right.  Roll Eyes
562  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What could be considered red flags with tokenomics of new projects? on: February 01, 2023, 02:09:05 PM
If a token supply of a project is 100 million and the team is taking 10 million for themselves is this a red flag? If No, how much is alarming allocation for team of a new project?
No. I've seen other project teams take a bigger cut than that, 20% - 30%, then state that some of it are supposedly allocated to "marketing" and even "future" usage, whatever that is. LOL

My second question is about the locked period of team token allocation, have this proven to be a better solution to avoid dumping from the team themselves?
Yes but it depends on how long it is locked and how many of the team's holdings are locked. If it is just 1% out of their total holdings, then that's nonsense.

If a new project successfully raised 3x of their target in any presale isn't that enough to get the project to where they plan? So why the need for the team to still acquire some token allocation for themselves?
Depends on what type of project or company they are trying to build. Some startups need enough funding to even begin development while others don't need much. Team allocations are usually used for marketing, especially with projects or startups that are so keen on using their own token for that purpose rather than the raised funds.

Some will say that token allocation is for development, what about the money the project raised?
Same as above. What's important is that the project team is transparent about it, where the tokens and raised funds go, and how they use it.
Much of these details are usually in the token's economics or in their whitepapers (if they have one). If you can't find it, it doesn't hurt to ask the project team directly.

565  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: beginner in Crypto on: January 30, 2023, 08:41:06 AM
As a beginner in Crypto with a limited budget would you recommend purchasing the lower priced NFT's?
If you're looking to flip NFTs chances are you're already too late in the party once you've heard of that specific NFT and you'd just end up holding it long-term just to make even.
Most of the NFT projects nowadays are designed to generate profit for the creator and early minters. So, if you want profits, probably the best thing to do is get in early and mint one rather than purchasing it on a secondary market like Opensea. Though that's just the tip of the iceberg for the things you have to be on the lookout when getting into NFTs.

569  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why people are always interested in altcoins on: January 27, 2023, 03:47:09 AM
Most probably because the amount money you need to get into those alts are significantly low while it promises good ROI.
If I remember correctly some $SHIB OGs only bought their holdings for a couple of hundreds worth of dollars and turned it into millions worth when that shitcoin pumped.
Although, this isn't always the case as thousands of alts/shitcoins are also prone to drastic decline in value especially when the hype for it is over and people started dumping whatever they can into the market.

Yo, matanong ko lang may cases ka na ba na nagpa-NDA yung client mo sayo and then eventually hindi sila nag bayad? Nacurious lang ako since nag try ako recently sa isang freelance platform and ang unang nag accept sa akin ay need sa Telegram mag-usap at nag bigay pa sakin ng NDA form. Di ko tinuloy since parang too good to be true ng offer para sa hindi ganon katrabahong task. Curious lang ako sa ngayon tungkol sa mga related discussions about NDA.
Never had that experience. My previous client only required me to sign NDA form since at that time, 'yung concept ng kanilang project is new, like the very first sa crypto-industry, so understandable naman na ayaw nila ma leak 'yung info and other sensitive data prior to the launch. I think that's mostly what NDAs are for, keeping things in secret para maiwasang masilip ng potential competitors. I don't think it has something to do with your salary/payment, ibang usapan 'yun.
575  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: After 30 testnet Goerli ETH (GoETH)... on: January 24, 2023, 02:47:25 PM
It's annoying how hard these are to get a hold of. Anyone able to help? I believe the going rate is a few 10s of cents or whatever. I may be wrong? Either way I dont have the few days or so it takes via the faucets.

I know I'm part of the problem by offering to pay for some but yeah just wondering if someone had any lying around. Re: payment probably eth?

Thank you!
I understand why you want to pay for something that's literally given for free, you wanted to get your hands on this testnet ETH ASAP so you can go on and get crazy on Göerli network doing whatever it is that devs do.
While waiting for any seller, you could just try and gather whatever you can from some faucets, here's one (you can claim upto a max of 1.5 GöETH): https://goerli-faucet.pk910.de/

577  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance P2P - any experience/opinions? on: January 24, 2023, 12:04:59 AM
Has anyone ever used Binance P2P at all and would like to share their experience? Any feedback, whether from buyers or sellers, is welcome.
It is convenient to say the least. Buying crypto with your bank card can sometimes take a day not to mention there are only a handful of banks in our country that fully support cryptocurrencies, so people turn to P2P.
Trades are usually completed within minutes and you'll be able to 1on1 chat with the seller/buyer as well. Binance also shows ratings, number of trades made and trade completion rate for all sellers and buyers which gives you basis as to whom to trade with.
I've only ever encountered a single cancellation of trade and that's because the seller ran out of crypto to sell.

Reimbursed $100 to Yo!Mix. That's all I can gather for now. Quite tough getting new campaigns.

I understand how it feels, bro. I can't say anything except say sorry to you. It must be hard days for you. But you know that you have to pay for the mistake you have made. Glad to know that you have started paying them. Even though there is a lot of drama in this forum, people trust you. I saw some people mistreated in this forum. You are lucky and unlucky at the same time.

Thank you.

Quite tough getting new campaigns.
Now you have no negative trust, so I think now all should be fine as usual.

Yes, I hope so.

Will lock this thread again, only reopened it so Coinomize team can update their post as well.
