1361  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [Wanted] SimpleChain Recruiting Community Ambassadors on: June 05, 2020, 01:47:23 PM
Edit: Current price as shown on ZT exchange and Feixiaohao monitoring site: 1 SIPC = ¥ 4.2553 ≈ $ 0.59
¥ 4.2553 isn't $ 0.59 it's around $ 0.038 [6/5/2020]. Cheesy Which means you're only paying less that $20 per month for whoever gets hired as your Community Ambassador. Kinda low if you ask me.
You might wanna increase the rate (since you're only paying in tokens) or just directly pay in other popular cryptocurrencies such as BTC/ETH/XRP. Otherwise, you'll have a hard time getting some applications Wink
1362  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How long will Bounty hunters continue to be helpless? on: June 05, 2020, 01:26:08 PM
It seems your only concern is payments or bounty rewards.
There are two ways to solve that.
First is very obvious; If you find the project or startup too good to be true, then don't promote it. Chances are, by the end of the day, you won't be getting anything from them.
Second, join only in bounty campaigns with escrows. It can be a third party escrow service provider or the bounty manager himself. Having an escrow is an additional assurance that you'll get your hard-earned tokens when the campaign ends.
1363  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BeerToken (BEER) a Stake Token powered by Mchain on: June 05, 2020, 11:43:48 AM
Such a bland announcement post you got here OP. You might want to add more info in there for people to easily know what this project is all about. You know, roadmap, team info, etc.
I see on the website you've listed crex24 in there, does this mean that the BEER token will be listed there anytime soon? or that's just part of the marketing propaganda? Grin
1364  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [IEO] CurioInvest - Bringing collectables into the digital world on: June 04, 2020, 11:34:37 AM
only a few people join the community in their new group, and without it the new reforms do not have a big impact on the community specifically the attraction of the curioinvest project
There's only a handful of real people on their old telegram group to begin with, so I guess that's expected on their new telegram group.
There are also talks in that group about collaboration with Houbi? Maybe they are talking about this Houbi: https://www.huobi.com
So, then that's another new exchange listing. Not officially announced though so take that with a grain of salt.  Cheesy
1365  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: Simply Cryptocurrency: Education, Empowerment and Engagement [ICO] on: June 04, 2020, 02:57:41 AM
-Snip-
It's good that you are keen on building this project regardless of how the ICO performs.
As for the high ICO price of the token, it won't do you any good. You really should lower it.
'Cause if you're not, you're gonna have a hard time attracting anybody to pour in their money into this since there is no assurance that a proper ROI could even be achieved.
Yes, Return of Investment; 'cause unless you're asking for "donations", people would still expect something in return, and promises such as what you are saying doesn't cut it out nowadays. Just sayin.  Wink
1366  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: Sleekcoin Project on: June 03, 2020, 12:21:54 PM
What's with this project's roadmap? It doesn't even look like a roadmap but more like a to-do list.  Roll Eyes
I mean why would you even start a project and build its website and social media channels later?  Cheesy
Your "virtual store" doesn't look appealing as well. All your selling are just "services" like web traffics, Instagram followers, Youtube subscribers, and Telegram members. All of those can easily be bought even from within this forum. So, why would someone wanna go to all the trouble in converting their other crypto assets into your SLEEK Token, visit your store and risk their money on it with no assurance that the product or should I say "services" would even be delivered as intended?
1367  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: Simply Cryptocurrency: Education, Empowerment and Engagement [ICO] on: June 03, 2020, 10:25:36 AM
To build a digital video hub that would help and educate people; that's such a noble cause.
But, why the need for funding? Can't this be done with just running a normal website and hosting videos on it?
Since the website is a bit bland and I can't find more info about anything, I'll just ask here; Where would you use the funds that you're hoping to generate from this?
Token Rate: 333 PCTO = 1 ETH  which means each token is nearly $0.7 each (at the current market rates). Isn't that a bit high for a startup project?
1368  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [IEO] CurioInvest - Bringing collectables into the digital world on: June 03, 2020, 12:45:38 AM
A few updates to this project.
CurioInvest's token [$CUR] is now listed on Changelly and can now be traded with the other 150+ cryptocurrencies available on it.
The team have also closed their main telegram group for chats, it is now only used for announcements. Chats have moved into this telegram channel: https://t.me/CurioInvestCommunity

1369  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bitradez - A Seamless Platform for Trading ($XIZ) on: May 31, 2020, 04:16:22 AM
12 Months of IEO? That's a very long time to wait for an investors to be able to utilize the token (or maybe even trade it).
Who told you guys that having a long period of IEO would be a good thing?
Long-term investments for startups such as this one is no longer viable. Especially when the project itself lacks transparency.
I mean, where are all the team members? Who built this exchange and who manages it?
People need to know so they can evaluate if those faces representing your exchange can be trusted or not.
You guys need to understand that most traders/investors nowadays are skeptical about new crypto-exchanges.
Who are these "world’s leading senior blockchain experts and computer engineers"?

1370  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] Bitclave — The Privacy Is Yours ★ Important Announcement  ★ on: May 31, 2020, 03:45:23 AM
Guys, did you hear the latest news that the SEC is forcing Bitclave to return all the money to investors? Add to the Telegram group @BitClaveInvestors, there is an exchange of information.
yes, i hear it. here is the link https://www.sec.gov/news/press-release/2020-124
Damn.
Back in the day when they've run their bounty campaign, I applied as their "Filipino" translator.
I got accepted and submitted the completed translations to them after a couple of days but a few weeks after, I got kicked out of the campaign for supposedly using a "google translator". LMAO.
Burned my eyes through a number of days translating their WP/Ann and got nothing in return. Not a single token.
From what I've read, not only they are ordered to return the $25m they've raised from their ICO, they would also have to pay prejudgment interest of $3,444,197, and a penalty of $400,000  Shocked
I guess karma really does find a way to get back at them huh.  Grin
Safe to say this project will now be dead.
1371  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [PRIVATE SALE] TITANT: a cryptocurrency that will serve, not rule!!! on: May 30, 2020, 05:36:52 AM
We expect that initially it will be enough for us to attract 1,200 people who want to purchase tokens, and the number of tokens in circulation will be only 20,000,000 pieces. Then we can ensure the profitability that we promise to our early investors. Suppose that each person buy tokens for 1,000 US dollars, and this, therefore, is about 1,200,000 US dollars in demand.
All of these are clearly just assumptions. You can't predict these things no matter how great your project is. Which is why it was a bad move on your part for promising some big ROI.
No project in the cryptocurrencies market can give any guarantees that a person will not be deceived
Sure, but have you ever heard of having an escrow for the payments? I'm pretty sure that's one way to ensure the seller and buyer would not be deceived.
Well anyway, you have been tagged for that "partnership issue", so, I strongly suggest you answer all the accusations your project is facing before moving forward any further.

1373  Economy / Services / Re: [SERVICE] Julerz's Campaign Management [Fee will be donated] on: May 28, 2020, 09:45:40 AM
I am very disappointed how come you promote as bounty manager some coin without running ICO, IEO or flash sale to public,
Are you saying that I should only promote or manage a project's bounty campaign that has an ICO/IEO?  Cheesy
until one month after your last bounty project still not have clearly information when listed on exchange market and how long their coin will get ready to IEO project or not.
I'm sorry if you are disappointed. But, you should also understand that the failure of that project to reach their stated goals/obligations to everyone is out of my control.
Whatever move and decision the GMD team makes is only up to them. I can't do anything about it.
Sure I can always push and ask them from time to time (which believe me, I'm doing that [since they still owe me my 3-week management fee]), but other than that, not much I can do.
You as the participant should realize that I am not part of their team. I only manage their bounty campaign and did everything I can to run it smoothly and as much as possible, without any cheaters/farmers.
Just as what bakasabo said, if you have inquiries about them, you should ask on their main telegram group [HERE] or on their announcement thread [HERE].
1374  Economy / Services / Re: Bitcointalk Charity Program Signature Campaign - Give Hope To Everyone... on: May 28, 2020, 09:28:25 AM
BIG NEWS EVERYONE!
I don't know if its an accident or what, but it seems someone has transferred 1BTC to our Charity.
This is a BIG SHOCK to me actually, I don't know what to do and what to say, but there's one thing I can assure to all of you, the money will go to different orphanages and other helpless people out there that seems having a hard living in this scenario.

Current Balance: 1.03331019 BTC

https://www.blockchain.com/btc/address/1CHAriTyyuCzLdXshSDVohyjgxTxW9Bhx

Whoever you are, I want to thank you, this is really a serious thing.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH TO ALL

BTC will remain to the escrow wallet until we decide to what project should we launch.

Nice. And it wasn't just for this charitable program but also to Royse777's Project Covid-19 as well. [TX].
I guess it is safe to say that this is not an accident my friend.

Really big thanks to you Mr/Mrs. anonymous. God bless!
1375  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][GMD]The Geoma DAO - Steady and sustainable wealth creation. on: May 28, 2020, 05:23:21 AM
I personally would not mind not using that exchange, in my opinion it is still safer if someone sells it through forkdelta DEX. There's many exchange like this have sprung up and listed several tokens or coins from a project for free to get public attention, but I'm not tempted at all to use it.
Wait. Hold up. You're much comfortable using a centralized exchange with custodial wallets than a decentralized exchange with smart contracts?
Sure Forkdelta may not have that beautiful, seamless UI than the CEX's but as for security, DEX is way better.
The only problem I see with DEX's aside from their bad and cranky UI's is the lack of support staff and weird to absurd orders placed by users.  Cheesy

maybe enter in a big exchange will make the value of GMD will be good .
It will surely help but the problem is the lack of proper funding. To be able to get into a decent exchange, the team would have to pay for a listing fee and as we all know, most CEX's asks an absurd amount of crypto for listing fee.
If their planned DAICO (decentralized autonomous ICO) will be successful; then we might be seeing GMD token listed on a decent exchange.
1376  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Project Covid-19 : An approach to support the Bitcoin community on: May 28, 2020, 04:53:17 AM
Hi everyone. I just sent out the payments for the little signature campaign I've run to help promote this charitable program and part of those payments were asked to be donated here by one of the participants, psycodad. Transaction details can be seen here.

I apply, but if accepted I'd like my sig payment to go toward CryptopreneurBrainboss' and Royse777's Project Covid-19.

Bitcointalk username: psycodad
BTC address: 3Covid19s5zLNzQHGGLBeqkizwApUb19bj

I am going to wear the sig for a week anyway.

[EDIT]

It seems somebody recently just sent 1BTC to this charitable program! Shocked
That's one very generous Bitcointalk member right there.  Wink
1377  Economy / Services / Re: [CLOSED] Bitcointalk Charity Program Signature Campaign on: May 28, 2020, 03:31:14 AM
Hi guys.

I've already sent the payments to everyone who made at least 5 posts within this week. [TX HERE]
I guess it is safe to say that everyone did their part since everyone got paid.  Grin

I will close this thread for now and once I gather enough BTC, I might re-open this campaign again.

Thanks to everyone who supported this initiative.

Feel free to wear the signatures for as long as you like.
1378  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][GMD]The Geoma DAO - Steady and sustainable wealth creation. on: May 27, 2020, 12:42:23 PM
They have seen the potential of the project, they know that some bounty hunters are now holders of the token and they want to tempt the holders and the potential buyers to trade here, the team should look at it in a positive way, some exchanges are asking for a listing fee but in Probitex although a small exchange they list it free.
The problem with these small exchanges is not only that they have a relatively small volume, you can't be sure how legitimate they are. One day you're doing good trading, the next thing you'll know they're gone.
The way I see it, the GMD team doesn't see this listing negatively (I'm sure they are thankful) but they still need to warn their token holders especially when the team themselves did not initiate the listing.
1379  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][GMD]The Geoma DAO - Steady and sustainable wealth creation. on: May 27, 2020, 02:32:17 AM
The price is much better on forkdelta I don't think people will be attracted to buy at this early even if the dev promises that they will continue developing the project, and will do an IEO, so sad at the management decision to stop the IEO, when other projects are just moving, and some projects are even launching ICO.
You're clearly misinformed. This project has not initiated an IEO/ICO yet. Nothing was stopped because it hasn't even started yet.

Most probably, Probitex listed GMD on their own in hopes of bringing in more users for their exchange.
So, anybody who wants to trade on that exchange should take caution.
1380  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty- Waste of resources? on: May 26, 2020, 12:02:49 PM
Not quite. Bounty campaigns are a cheap way to generate awareness for any project if managed properly.
Factors that can affect if it is worth it to run a bounty campaign or not are the type of manager for the bounty campaign, who's in the bounty campaign, and the project itself.

If the project has no other means to market their project but only through bounty campaigns, then, by all means, it's not a waste of resources. After all, most bounty campaign nowadays has a reward pool consists of their own native tokens that basically has no value at the early stages of the project.
Having the slightest means of generating more awareness would be beneficial for those types of projects.

It also depends on who manages the campaign and who's in it (the type of bounty hunters).
If it is managed by a lazy bum who doesn't care about the project or the outcome of the bounty campaign; that right there is a lost cause.
You can't expect anything good coming out of that especially when the type of bounty hunters that are in that campaign are just fake accounts/bots/farmers/cheaters. Those types of bounty hunters coupled with a lazy manager will surely result in wasted time, effort, and resources to project owners and everyone else involved in that bounty campaign.
