561  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why only now many countries recognize bitcoin as a virtual currency? on: May 05, 2017, 04:39:38 PM

Because its price is now sky high then many countries use bitcoin as virtual currency

What you think with phenomenal like this

Thats also one of the reasons why many countries now have discovered about bitcoins and other virtual currency but thats not the only reason why they did not know about this before. I think bitcoin is just like paypal where you can store your money and you can buy online but bitcoin is different it converts into a coin were you can invest, gamble, buy, and do other stuffs. Bitcoin was not really recognized to other countries thats because of some reasons like, no access to internet, no knowledge on computers, they are more focus on earning money in their jobs, and etc.. There are still many countries around the world that does not recognize bitcoin yet like in my home country, there are only small percentage of people who knew about bitcoin thats because of poverty and priorities. Some of them are also afraid on putting their money online so there are many reasons why bitcoin was not really recognize before but now it is starting to climb the ladder and millions of people are now starting to learn and using bitcoin it is really a think and it can help other people too. I believe that this phenomenal is a great thing.  Wink
562  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as a source of income? on: May 05, 2017, 04:25:52 PM
Today many people rely on bitcoin, in the sense that they are now focusing on the world of cryptocurrency, leaving their jobs

Is there something like this, is there any special tips because i want to focus but not yet dare?

It is actually interesting that there are some people who leave their job and go full time in the cryptocurrency world or rely on bitcoins and other cryptocurrency but if you really think about it not many people do so. It is really hard to earn income to it especially the rate of the bitcoin is inconsistent and it shifts over time and no ones know how the rate of change takes place in the future of the value of the coin and if you are really looking for a job/income in this crypto world it really depends on your expertise and knowledge, some jobs like programmers, Web design and etc. can actually earn because they have the knowledge and they are expert to it but if you are just a cook, clerk, cashier, and etc.. its really hard for you to earn. You can still earn but you need a lot of research on how to do so and if you find one its not really a big win that you need to leave your job. You can join on signature campaigns, facebook, twitter campaigns, and any other ways but they just pay you small amount and that i won't pay your bills or your apartment and other bills so my tip for you is that just focus on what job you are doing right now and just earn part time online if have time or just become a programmer or other computer expertise. 563  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Japan to accept Bitcoin as payment method. on: May 05, 2017, 01:29:21 AM
the first japan bill containing virtual currencies is expected to come on april which recognizes bitcoin as a method of payment.Although,it doesnot define bitcoin as a legal currency,it is still considered as a remarkable progress for bitcoin in japan.Hope, most of tourists who would go to japan to see 2020 olympics would be able to pay in bitcoins.

It is really interesting that japan has not yet accepts Bitcoin as a payment method I thought they already have it advanced thats because they say the founder is from japan but even though Satoshi lived on United stated and Europe. I thought countries like Japan, China, and other Asia countries are ahead of the technology especially in cryptoworld. Well if they don't have it yet I hope they will soon be it is really convenient to pay in online especially as you said 2020 Olympics is coming and japan is also one of the most technology inclined of the world. So I hope bitcoin will be spread through out the japan.  Wink
564  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many people use/hold bitcoin in 2016 on: May 04, 2017, 11:38:08 PM
Im interested to know how many people are actually now involved in the bitcoin world, Is there anyway to find out a rough idea of the user base so that we can come to a conclusion on what kind of adoption we are currently at? It seems difficult to gauge since this forum alone has several duplicate accounts from the same people.

. /r/bitcoin has 180k subs to it so would it be safe to assume if we included all miners, users holders and whoever else that we are still at under 1 million users? If this is the case then we still have a long way to go.

Does anyone have any more accurate guesses or way to determine the market?

In roughly estimation I would say it should be more than that and I think it is still counting until now. Base on research of 2016 you can check in here => http://www.coindesk.com/2016-bitcoin-challenge-100-million-users/ there are 100 million people who are using bitcoin which this alone is the most common cryptocurrency out in the market but let alone the LTC , ETH, and other cryptocurrency added to this I would say roughly 1 billion users and counting, that just small percentage of around the world. Today's population is 7.5 billion so we still have a long way to share the cryptocurrency world, we still have a very very long way to go. there is no exact numbers on how many people are using cryptocurrency but what we know is that it is still counting until and and soon the cryptocurrency will be the future and will be known around the world.  Wink
565  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you feel shameful for being a gambler? on: May 04, 2017, 11:28:22 PM
Go guys!
In many cultures and countries is gambling consider as a bad thing which only the poorest and silliest ones do. Many gamblers try to hide that they gamble from their friends and families and feel really shameful for that. Do you consider gambling as a bad thing? Do you feel shameful or proud for being a gambler? If it is shame what you feel what do you about it? How do you hide you're a gambler and who do you hide it from?
Let others know!

Gambling should not be shameful thats because gambling is just a way of entertainment on which people try their luck to double or triple their money. It is just natural for people to dream to become a millionaire in an instant or even just win a small amount of money just to get out of debt and poverty. I know some countries will count it as a sin because they see gambling as greed to which they think that you are not satisfied to everything you have. As in the bible says at the 7 deadly sins greed is one of them so thats why they see gambling as a seen but if you don't let your greed take over you and just play for fun I would say thats not a sin. For me I'm not  shameful but also I'm not a proud gambler I'm more like a neutral side it is not shameful because gambling is just a game like any other and not really proud because sometimes gambling can make you greedy so its like 50/50% percent.
566  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BTC getting too expensive to gamble with on: May 04, 2017, 11:20:47 PM
What other cryptocurrency are you using and which casino are you playing at? BTC is getting to expensive to be depositing and playing in just BTC.

Well for me I'm using BTC for gambling but some people use other cyprtocurrency like ETH or LTC thats because they say its more easy to deposit and more convenient but I haven't tried it at all, but soon I will. You are actually right BTC is getting expensive over time especially now its like $1k+ unlike before when it was just starting it was really low but now its really hard to get 1 BTC. In this generation BTC is really going to increase overtime thats because most people right now are connected to the internet. Base on the research of 2016 there are 100 million people who are currently using BTC, you can check in here => http://www.coindesk.com/2016-bitcoin-challenge-100-million-users/. So how much more in the future, it is really advance now in this generation and BTC is going to be big in the future for sure.  Wink
567  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is it possible for us to hack some gambling sites? on: May 04, 2017, 12:15:49 AM
I have this weird things in my head, when i play gambling games like hacking the website and take all the bitcoin that i bet and their bitcoin they put in the website.. also every time lose i think about this kind of stuff hacking gambling websites is it possible for us? how can we manage to do it? is it really that secure?

In this generation I think i t is possible to hack a gambling site but to do so you need to be a professional to it or hire someone but it is not recommended to do if you don't want to go to jail for hacking. It is also the reason when gambling on websites check if it is legit or not and if its secure because some of the websites are not that secure hackers can easily go through the website and withdraw your BTC. It is impossible for you because you can only hack if your proficient on it and it is really really hard. If you don't want to be hacked always check if your computer is secure and if the website is secure. There are many people now who are hacking and trying to learn. Same as you but If I were you I won't go in that way it is not right and you could go to jail. So always be careful.
568  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What type of sports you love in sports betting and why? on: May 04, 2017, 12:05:58 AM
It is really more fun on betting for a sports betting than gambling on something like dice or slot machines thats becaues in sports you can analyize each team and see what do they can offer and if they are potential of winning. For me I do bet in NBA and BOXING, it is really interesting to bet on boxing because it gives you hype when watching it your chances to win is 50/50 not like any other sports that they have a lot of teams which makes you hard to make choices on which one but if you know each team and do research like basketball your percentage on winning is higher than other people who bet on what do they not know about. So this coming 2017 NBA season I would bet on CAVS against GSW but i know Cavs will win.  Wink
569  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling sites earnings? on: May 03, 2017, 11:55:00 PM
I was always curious about knowing how much gambling sites actually earns and how profitable is it for them considering that some websites such PrimeDice are running for years now and bitcoin price is going up and down since then so how do they manage to keep their reserve filled and make profit in same time ?

Your right it is really interesting to know how much a gambling sites could actually earn on how many billions of people gamble everyday, even if they just bet 1 cents per person it would still be a great bag of money right there. I would think they are actually earning more than I do in my work, it should be profitable thats considering some of the websites are legit and some are still running for years now as you said. It should be same concept as casinos but just online. They make people win smaller parts then after they will make you lose everything you have. It it just in the program for them to take your money for them to be successful so even tho bitcoin prices goes up or down. They could still earn money and also maybe they have investors on their site so which is a good thing for them.  Wink
570  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][QAU] QUANTUM PROJECT - Connecting markets on: May 03, 2017, 11:45:59 PM
many people are coming here to post a comment for the sake of their campaign, they did criticize the project without even reading the OP and others are asking some questions that was already answered at the opening page.
That is the difference between people who are really interested in this currency and who try to perfect their work. I am a participant in the campaign, and our duty is to be here, writing about the subject of the OP. However, they are actually wrong to make unfounded comments, they need to read carefully what the OP says. It is these comments that show their lack of professionalism, and the quality of their posts is not guaranteed.

Well your right that some people in here just come to post for the campaign but thats not a bad thing it is also a good thing, that means that they are also cooperating with the campaign even though they are just posting to earn without any knowledge about the project. Especially for newbies but I'm not saying all of them. It is just a matter of fact that this campaign is really interesting that they joined the campaign to advertise the project even if they do it to earn, it can still help the campaign project to spread and share with others and learning more about this project. I'm not defending them but atleast they do their part to advertise the campaign and to write a constructive posts in every comments.
571  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to control greed on gambling? on: May 03, 2017, 10:41:22 PM
As i know gambling is all about luck and how to control my greed, except sportbetting (of course need skill and strategy).

I have experience in gambling (casino), somtime i hit big only with faucet or free money and i can withdraw from that. but because my greed i always want more and more, then i'll come again with my money as bankroll. Bet more and hope win more, but because of that i'll lose my money little by little and usually i'll stop after my bankroll to be "0". I call that with greed.
Anyone here have any suggestion to control my greed? Let me know.

Greed is in already in our generations of human beings that why before we have world wars 1 and 2 because of greed, people that wants more than what they have and seeking for more power and money is really an illness to humanity. No one in this world that has no greed in their blood. There are many ways to control greed if you actually do it right but to do so, first you actually need to know that you know that you have greed in you. In that way you can actually realize that you have greed and you are losing more than you are winning. Second, always control yourself whenever you gamble it is important that you can control yourself when gambling it is easy to bet again and over again when you have winnings but you should think some ways for you to stop using you winnings to bet again. Greed takes place when you are confident thats because you won something. Lastly, to control greed is to not just gamble, that way you won't lose money. Easy right?  Grin Hope it helps Wink
572  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling problem on: May 03, 2017, 10:19:34 PM
I've lost over 10BTC in the past three months, and let me tell you. Stopping isn't as easy as you might think. I don't know why I keep doing it but I do. And the result is always the same.
Net Profit: - 5.500BTC
Sometimes I play Black Jack, sometimes I play Dice. Most of the time it's dice, and that's basically where I lose all my money. Nothing ever works. Martingale: Nope. Reverse Martingale: Nope. All in 80-90%: Nope. Spamming 97% win chance: Nope. I wish I could stop lol

Well that sucks broo, I know stopping gambling is really not easy i know some people who are addicted to gambling and trying to recover but until now they are still in the process and still often play when they can't hold their self enough. Gambling addiction is really an a problem, greed is a nature on us human beings so we are not satisfied on what we already have and we always assume and  try to our luck even it will cost all of what we have. Sometimes also we don't think the bad side of gambling we always see it in the good side on what if I win?. I can be a millionaire or can double or triple my money but still we always see the good side but not in the bad side. I'm sure losing 10 BTC in just gambling really sucks and you must been really regret why you gamble it. I know the fun is their but the money is gone, If you could think what else you could have done on 10 BTC (Which 1 BTC = 1k+ USD right now) you could have enjoyed your money more right?.  Wink Gambling really sucks when you lose but you should always control yourself whenever you gamble, it is fun to gamble but there is always an limitation. Just think of this whenever you gamble, gambling is also a business they take your money for them to get their business running so whenever you gamble it is like you are donating money for them. They always want your money thats because thats what business/ gambling companies do. There is only I think 1% chance to win in gamble and there are billions of people who gamble so its hard to win in gambling. It just a chance of your luck but still I do think gambling is still a problem.
573  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do small investments make sense? on: May 03, 2017, 10:37:39 AM
When we think about investments we imagine investors with big sums of money, so for btc casino it would be 1 or more btc, for instance. However, the minimum amount you can invest is usually 0.01btc which is only 10$. Do you think such investments are profitable but you earn small sums or maybe they don't make sense at all? Can someone explain it to me?

When investors invest on something they are interested it actually just depends on them on how much they invest, it is just common sense. If they invest bigger sum of money they will earn more and if smaller they will just earn smaller amounts but the problem is the risk in every investments there is always a risk to take part into. That means when the investors invest big sum of money they will also risk to lose all of that and its just the same as if they invest a smaller sum of money they would still have the risk but in less risk than the other way around. I think for me its more profitable to invest on smaller amounts than bigger amounts that's because you don't know if what will happen in the future. Also, instead of investing on just one company/cryptocurrency try investing in other ones to but in smaller amounts I think thats more reasonable than invest on only just one.  Wink Hope it helps Wink
574  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you know game like pusoy or tongits? on: May 02, 2017, 10:03:02 PM
Guy i would like to ask if there is a site accepting bitcoin to play tongits or pusoy?
You can see here what is pusoy and how to play it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tRiKihmN6fs

And tongits how to play it here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=due_i0OdsxM

I don't know if there is a site for playing Tongits and or Pusoy, but there is online game but not for gambling. Tongits is more like an poker game but in Filipino way. You can try poker and you will understand it right a way because it has the same concept of game. I have Filipino friends who tough me to learn playing Tongits and Pusoy. It is fun and enjoyable It would be fun is someone will make a gambling site for this. It is also a great idea. I'm also thinking doing a game of that too.  Wink
575  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you know if a gambling site is scam or not? on: May 02, 2017, 09:53:46 PM
I wonder how you do your research if a gambling site is scam or not?

Whenever you want to do a research for a gambling site if its a legit or just a scam. First, you gonna check for the website reviews, It is very important to see if the reviews of other people on that specific gambling website that you choose is legit or if the reviews are bad, you can also check in bitcoin forums about the website that you like. So you gonna always check if its bad or not. Second, check their website if you see there are many advertisements on the website it maybe a spamming website so be careful also on what you clicked on that website. Lastly, if you really are interested on that website and mostly good reviews, you can try the website but don't deposit on big money try depositing small amount of money and whenever you win try withdraw it immediately if it withdraws or not.  Wink Be careful on where you gamble and be smart on your money.  Wink
576  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][QAU] QUANTUM PROJECT - Connecting markets on: May 02, 2017, 09:45:27 PM
Its poised to be a substitute for paypal, I know. Bitcoin ecosystem in which it will be playing a significant role is not even the case. Its big without any fucking bitcoins as it targets much higher levels of broad acceptance and feasibility, nothing can compete with this shit. If i were in ur shoes I would instantly convert half of my portfolio into it, no doubts.
Are you just trolling,it looks like you are making fun of the investors to be frank. It is not a substitute to anything and the protocol and how the system works make sure that the price of QAU will increase with time as they will be destroyed on a monthly basis and so i do think that i will be a good investment  and always remember that with every investment there is a risk involved and make sure that you know that.
I think all of the investors know about the risk by putting money in one investment company. The only thing we can do is to lessen it by doing multiple investment. And 1 thing i notice that every new cryto coin launches it will gives good profit on the investors that is why i think also that this project will gives great income to us. Just believed and support this project until they reach their goal.

Your right Investors already know the risk they took on investing in this project but even though they believe that this campaign is going to be successful in the future. They see an potential on it thats why they invested on this project this is why also they make a campaign project for them to share and so that this project will be recognized and many people will be curious on this project. It also benefits them on the future when this campaign rise to the top. So in the future its either going up or going down.  Wink I hope this campaign will continue on the future, I know with yahoo as a dev. this will be a successful campaign  Cheesy Wink
577  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If money would not be a problem, would you still gamble? on: May 02, 2017, 09:35:28 PM
I am just wondering if you still would gamble if you would have enough money? I mean, now as it is, do you gamble for the fun or for the profit?

Well why not ?, if money would not be a problem most people will gamble to double or even triple their money. That's how greedy people are now a days they are not satisfied on what they have even they have enough money for them to live for the rest of their lives but if ever i have the chance to have enough money for me. I would still gamble but not for profit just for fun whenever I have time. I would rather use my money to go for a vacation/Trip than losing all of my money on just a game which I have a low chance of winning.  Wink
578  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I have 0.5 BTC how to make money in Investment. on: May 02, 2017, 09:26:20 PM
Hello Everyone,

I have 0.5 BTC, and I don't have time to do trading, So I decided to invest in casino sites, can anyone please explain to me how to invest in online casinos. And how much profit I will get it per month, Which site is better to invest. Please explain me in detail.

Thank you.

Well for me I would not invest on casino sites. Before you invest do all of you research first on which one is legit and all the information about the site thats because many websites now are scams especially if you are risking your money/BTC. Investing is very risky but if you did your research right and not just investing on just random sites you either will lose your money/BTC or just nothing will happen on your investment and also whenever you are investing don't just stay with just one website. Don't just dump your money in once place it would be safer if you invest in other places for you to earn more.  Smiley
579  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin eventually kill Altcoin? on: May 02, 2017, 09:10:36 PM
Every time bitcoin price goes up,Altcoin price take a dip.No doubt bitcoin rule the crypto world and sooner or later it will become mainstream.
Once it happens, btc will be worth million dollar. Will then all Altcoin be died?Seems Altcoin price are inversely proportional to btc price, if btc keep rising, will Altcoin keep falling? .

I would say no, even bitcoin price goes up eventually the Altcoins will not go down thats because some of the altcoins out in the market are successful and won't hit bottom rock even if the bitcoin increases constantly, especially there are still investors that invested on legit Altcoins which still be organized and running. Still altcoins won't beat bitcoin in terms of price.  Smiley
580  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is betting a good choice for a newbie? on: April 29, 2017, 06:01:14 PM
I am earning and collecting bitcoin to bet on sports in future. Will it be a good choice to invest in it betting or other things.Where should i invest my bitcoin to have a long term profit?

As a newbie I think you should hold it first your bitcoin thats because whenever you have the enough BTC. You can go and invest your money on coins and you can also gamble but you need to limit yourself on gambling and don't be greedy. Gambling isnt really a profitable choice it depends only on your luck, but in investing you need to be patient so you can earn. There are no easy way to earn BTC especially, now a days that mining altcoins is now hard, you need to buy high end hardware so that you will earn.  So I were you save your money until 1 BTC and after that you can invest and gamble a little but if you have the money you can do it but it really depends on you. Wink Hope it helps Wink
