I think this idea rose from the claims of different people where the main idea is bitcoin is not a currency because it is too unstable. But in the years to come, block chain technology has a high chance to be used more since our society tends to depend on technological progress. This innovation is still in its maturing stage and has a room to grow and improve. Let us just wait what will happen next. |

So many countries now were prohibiting the use of virtual cryptocurrencies. And to think that many unemployed individuals were beginning to uplift their way of living because of their dealings with cryptocurrencies. Banks doesn't expressly say why it is banning the use of Bitcoin.

As far as I remembered correctly, there are banks that ruins the image of this industry by claiming that cryptocurrencies are not worth the risks. The reason for these statements might be just for the propaganda or jusy a "show" since its their industry will be the first affected when cryptos successfully dominated the market. |

Bitcoin is a risky investment to start with. That's why you always hear or read the statement: "don't invest more than you're willing to lose". Because even though I'm highly bullish on bitcoin, it can simply just crash down to triple or double digits without any signs(a bit unlikely, but still very possible). I think bitcoin is really a good investment for now, but I don't think it is a good idea to put all your investment in bitcoin or crypto currencies since it is unpredictable and very risky to take. For me it's still better to start your own business than depend your future in bitcoin investment.

bitcoin has many technological limitations(1MB size of block, takes long time to process your transaction) and so had been hardforked to bch, btg.
it could only be used as currency since they do not support platform like ethereum does.
currently many icos are based on ethereums, cause they support tokens on their platform.
I think the only benefit of using bitcoin is that it is the very first cryptocurrency and altcoins are exchangeable in exchange because of btc's stability.

I think bitcoin and all other cryptocurrencies can still improve, if not now, may be in the near future. We are entering an era of technological world and all cryptocurrencies will seems to be part of it.
